This is a cute picture book that tells us about where other people live. I read this with my niece and she absolutely loved it. She loved the pictures which matched the story perfectly. We loved how the story also included some animals as well . I can’t wait to read more from this author to my niece.

Another great story of Buddy and his siblings! This book focuses on honesty. Buddy is being blamed for the trash being dumped over every night. He knows he’s not the one doing it but can’t prove who it is until one night he catches them. However, he’s the one left standing in the mess as the real culprit got away before the humans got to them.
I am really enjoying this series! It is written from a Biblical basis and there is a Bible verse at the end of the story. It’s a great way to share these Truths with young ones! The illustrations are also very well done throughout the story. I highly recommend this series!

This book was such a delightful journey into the enchanting world of homes in all their forms. I read this with both of my kiddos and although they are older than the target audience, we still enjoyed ourselves! I feel like rhymes are captivating no matter your age and work their magic even more so when paired with a heartfelt adventure and beautifully crafted illustrations. The rhyming flows smoothly which makes it an excellent choice for classroom read-alouds or bedtime stories. What stood out to me the most was the message that home isn’t just a physical space, but a place filled with love, safety, and connection. I highly recommend grabbing a copy to share the joyous exploration of homes with the little ones in your life. It’s a beautiful reminder that home is truly where the heart resides!

Another wonderful story and life lesson learned and shared by Buddy the Blue Corgi! My kiddos and I have read and loved the previous books in the series, so there was no doubt in my mind that I would be bringing this one home. You can read them out of order or as standalones since they are children’s books, but they do have a nice progressive flow to them in order. The illustrations are just as beautiful as the other books as well and complement the story, bringing Buddy’s world to life. When Buddy is adopted, he starts loving his life with his new brothers, Donut and Salem. There is a trash bandit in the house that keeps making messes in the kitchen, and Buddy is getting blamed for it. Will he be able to prove that it isn’t him? This is an engaging lesson in honesty which makes it a perfect read for parents and teachers looking to spark discussion about characters and values. I highly recommend adding this to your library!

My daughter thought learning about different homes was great and really loved the illustrations as well! Her reading level is fairly low and she was able to breeze through with only minor assistance. I myself thought the layout and all the different types of homes were great and the story flowed well.

This was such a great book to teach kids that its not ok to be a tattletale, but also not ok to let someone take the blame for something they didnt do. Buddy stays up all night to see who is knocking over the trash can because he keeps getting in trouble for it.

This is another little gem of a book by Suzanna Lynn!
In this particular book, Buddy teaches us a couple of lessons. Buddy reminisces about being adopted. He looks different than his siblings. He is blue, and they are all tan. The pups begin noticing people coming to the farm and looking at them. His mother explains that they will soon go to their forever homes and have even more adventures. As time passed, his siblings got adopted, and one family noted that they wanted a tan dog like all the others, not “the blue one.” Buddy’s feelings are hurt, and he thinks he will never find his forever home. However, a family arrives after driving several hours and takes him home, and it’s everything he ever hoped for.
Lynn does a beautiful job of explaining that everyone is created as unique and special. She also shows that waiting can be challenging, but with patience, life can turn out better than we ever imagined.
This is another book full of engaging young readers with a very positive message.

My children are two years apart and while often best friends, they’re still siblings. This was a great book to illustrate the importance of telling the truth and being held accountable for your own actions. The story flowed and was a fast read with good illustrations. My children enjoyed the book and I really liked that it was a lesson that didnt feel like a lecture!

I like being able to recommend good children’s books to people and this is another great one. I just wish my kids were little enough for them. I found that the author was able to really grab the reader into the story and make it fun. I like how the author is able to make the subject matter really easy and fun to read and has a really creative writing style. I like how the book is engaging and helps to teach younger kids. It has great illustrations and delightful characters. This is a great way for kids to get into a good reading habit and help them to learn in a creative and engaging way. I would highly recommend to any parent of younger kids to get and help their kids to learn some of life’s lessons and gain a good sense of competition and good citizenship.

A short book that shows the different places that people and animals can live. I think I would have liked this better if it was worked into a story. Each page is a picture and it says “some live …..( whatever the picture is)” and another different in the next page. No storyline. Then the ending makes note of how people are happy in families or alone. It rounds out nicely but the delivery could have been better. On the illustration side of things the pages are very well done and colorful.

Another cute story with a great message! Lynn definitely knows how to capture these little readers with adorable illustrations, meaningful connections and keeping a positive outlook throughout. Even as adults, these are great reminders as we get lost in our own worlds but as parents, we need to show and role model these qualities to our little ones so they can be mindful and patient as things all have their own way of working out. Highly recommended for preschool children and even those in Sunday School or special church programming groups as the very ending mentions Biblical verse to connect the story to.

What a silly story! First of all, I love when children’s books rhyme. It usually is more likely to keep a child’s attention. Second, this story had my 7 year old son cracking up the whole way through. I think it would make any little kid laugh. Maybe even some adults. Morals in kids books are fantastic. Sometimes, kids just need to smile and have fun. This book is perfect for that.
This is a very unique children’s story. I don’t think I have read anything like it. It was really cute. There are a few different morals included in this story. One about standing up to your bullies. Another about never giving up. I think kids will get a kick out of Angela’s mission.

Decisions Matter (Buddy the Blue Corgi Series) by Suzanna Lynn. This installment in the Buddy the blue corgi series we find that Buddy is settling in nicely with his new family. The only problem Buddy can find is someone has been getting into the families garbage and he is getting blamed for it. Buddy decides to stay up all night to catch the bandit. He doesn’t find him the first night and the second night he gets caught in a mess and looks even more guilty. When he finally catches the bandit, Buddy has to convince him that it is only right to tell the truth and as for forgiveness. These books are so good and they each have a wonderful life lesson in them. I love the fact that each book has a Bible verse on the back page. Teaching kids that doing the right thing is so important especially in today’s world. This book is perfect for all your little ones!

A Pig and a Poke by Tricia Gardella. This is such a cute book for all kids. Its the story of Angela who wants to win a pig. Angela is determined to win this pig and will do whatever it takes. When a bully starts to make fun of her she actually takes the high road and helps him up. Angela knows that when she catches that pig she has to hang on for dear life and she does. This book has the cutest illustrations and teaches all kinds of good things, kindness, hard work and determination. Setting your mind to something and working hard at it you will eventually reach your goal. Such a great set of values and life lessons. This would make a great addition for the little one in your life’s library!

After reading this tonight my littlest one said Aweeee poor buddy. This Installment was about responsibility and encourages young readers to understand the impact of their decisions and the importance of thinking critically about their actions. This is the second book in the Buddy the Blue Corgi series, and it is just as cute as the first one! I loved the first book celebrating uniqueness while this one focuses on being patient. Buddy and his family learn about adoption and their forever homes away from the farm. They’re anxious but soon become excited for new adventures. Buddy isn’t feeling special as he’s the last pup left. Will he end up with his forever family, or will he be the only one who stays at the farm with his momma? The illustrations are beautiful, colorful, and they really add depth to the story. My kiddos are 8 and 12 years old, and they absolutely adored this book the entire way through. The life lesson of patience really helped settle both of their nerves and started a great conversation between us. I think this would make a great addition to a classroom, library, or even at home!

This was a really perfect book for my kids to learn about the decisions that we make can have consequences with everything we do. These series are super cute, and my kids have loved all of them so far. Each one has an amazing learning on how to problem solve but then things might not go the way you plan it too at first. It deals with problem solving and also understanding and honesty. The illustrations go very well with the story and, they are very well done that it kept my kids engaged in the story. I absolutely love these Buddy the Corgi series books, and how it teaches kids some lessons that are good for everyday things.

What a great book! It is full of colorful illustrations and great characters and contains a terrific lesson that teaches children the importance of telling the truth.
Buddy is adjusting to his life with two brothers, Salem and Donut. Problems arise when a trash bandit keeps getting into the trash. Buddy feels terrible that his family has to clean up the mess, so he decides to find the culprit and solve the mystery. But somehow, he gets blamed for it. He, Salem, and Donut learn the importance of telling the truth, mainly when an innocent party gets blamed.
This is a wonderful book for small children. The colorful illustrations are visually appealing and a great way to engage young readers. The story will captivate them, and they will learn the vital lesson of telling the truth.
