Buddy is an adventurous pup and loves his family. So when he discovers he’s different from them, he begins to think something is wrong with him, until he learns that his differences make him special. A very sweet children’s book that lets them know that different is okay.

This was a really perfect book for my kids to learn that waiting can be hard. I know my kids are still learning this and this book was great to show them that waiting can be frustrating and that its hard when its not right away. This book shows patience and understanding that things take time. My kids really love the illustrations of book, and it goes very well with the story. These stories of Buddy are amazing, and my kids absolutely love them. Buddy is waiting for his forever home and my kids resonated with this due to our dogs too. This is a great book for kids to learn how things are to take time and we need to have patents sometimes.

This was a really perfect book for my kids to learn that its ok to be a little different then anyone else. That we are all different in everything that we do and that’s ok. I love how it also showed that someone else’s words don’t mean anything and that you can be special in your own way and that’s ok. The book shows how all the farm animals are different in their own way, and that its ok to be different. This book has amazing illustrations that flowed and went well with the story and my children really engaged with this story. its short and easy to read.

This book is great for younger children. I’d say first libraries, bedtime stories, and kindergarten classes is where this book belongs! Super cute and the illustrations are wonderful! This book takes you through the many places where people and animals live. Each unique, but all homes. From big cities to countryside homes. Each has their own special qualities and all have love within them. This book reminds young readers that it doesn’t matter where you live, but that home is where all love begins. I really enjoyed sharing this book with kids. I would have them point out different things on different pages. Find who lives in hills on the ground, find who lives in cozy dens, and so on. I love making books interactive along the way. This was such a cute and wonderful book.

Buddy is back again with another story and another lesson. After being adopted by his new family, Buddy is settling in nicely. He enjoys his time with the family and his two cat siblings Salem and Donut. Of course they had their little fights here and there, but Donut normally helped sort it out. One morning the house woke up to trash all over the kitchen. Buddy was sad that his family had to clean up a mess and that they were upset. He made a plan to catch the trash bandit! But staying up past your bedtime can be hard. He fell asleep and when he woke to a crash he ended up getting blamed for the mess. Poor Buddy was in trouble for something he didn’t do. The next day he took an extra long nap so that he could stay up and catch the bandit once and for all. Hiding behind a sack of potatoes he stay quite until he heard noises from the trash. Jumping out he catches the culprit! But they run off and he again is blamed from the mess. He is put to bed and a gate is put up to keep him away from the kitchen. Donut comes to sort out the problem and learns who really is at fault. Not wanting to be a tattletale, Buddy keeps him mouth shut. But the truth always comes out. The next night the real culprit gets caught and Buddy learns that being honest is always the best. Even if you are scared you shouldn’t let someone else get in trouble for something they didn’t do.

These books (Buddy the Blue Corgi Series) are such cute and fun books. They each have a wonderful lesson and they are great for kids! Kids are taught many ways and I believe that books are one way that tend to be missed out on early on. In this book Buddy, a blue corgi is waiting to get adopted. He’s a little scared at first, but he loves the idea of going to a forever home. One by one his brothers and sisters get adopted. He’s left feeling unwanted and without his siblings playing just isn’t the same. One day a man and woman show up and they are so happy to find him. They drove from another state, hours away just for him! Arriving to his new home he meets their three kids and their two cats. He learned that his family just didn’t find him yet. He was worried for nothing. Waiting can be hard. Such a wonderful book! I can’t wait to read the others with my kiddos. I got this for a nine year old, but I really think that younger kids would not only love these books, but they would benefit from the lesson in it. Grab all of these books!! You will not regret it. Wonderful for first libraries, bedtime stories, and kindergarteners!

This book is such a cute book that teaches children that it’s okay to be different. In the book you follow a Corgi who is unique. Born in a small farm in Kansas, Buddy didn’t know that he was different. It took a few weeks for his eyes to open, but once they did him and his siblings played and explored the barn a lot. One day a horse told him that he looked strange. He was blue when all the other pups were tan and white. He never realized that he was different. This upset him very much. Was he even a Corgi? Was he even a dog?!! Finding him upset, his mother tried to comfort him. Letting him know that different isn’t bad, it’s unique! Giving him examples, he slowly started to see what she meant. Everyone has something different about them. Different just means special and unique. This is such a great book for kids. Let’s face it, kids can be mean. Going to school and getting made fun of happens to us all. This book teaches at an early age, that different is okay! It’s better than okay even. Kids need this lesson in their lives. I got this for my nine year old, but I think this would be wonderful for younger kids. Start them out young with these books and lessons. This book is great for first libraries, bedtime/night time reads, and kindergarten reads.

Buddy is different from his siblings and feels like he doesn’t fit in. Mama reassures him that him being different just makes him special, and that everyone has something special about them. This was a short and cute kid story with a good lesson. Love the animal characters that keep kids engaged.

I really enjoyed this read! I love how all of the characters were running around each other and stuff! I love that they really wanted something and tried really hard to get it no matter what! This is a fast paced book I’d love to show my 4 year old!

Good Things Take Time (Buddy the Blue Corgi Series) by Suzanna Lynn. This is such a sweet series for kids. Its a story of Buddy the Corgi and how he came to be adopted. He is terrified no one will want him and all his brothers and sisters will be picked and he will be left alone. Buddy is the only Blue Corgi out of the bunch and that worries him too, he’s different. Buddy is adopted and he goes to live with 2 cat siblings and a whole family that is crazy about him. Buddy is the sweetest and this series is as well. Its a great series for elementary kids and younger and it would be especially good for any child that is adopted or feels different from others. These books have great pictures and there is always a Christian element that I love. It also teaches kids that everything is not going to happen this instant, that some things take time! Such a great read for kids. I’m buying this whole series for my new Grandbaby to have when he gets older!

The Places we Call Home is a wonderfully illustrated children book. It is easy to read and rhymes and flows. It is a good reminder that home can look very different to each person. This book would be good for our youngest readers (preschool). The illustrations are bright and colorful and assist the story. I like that the author included animals homes as well.

A cute little story that made me smile. Luca Magoo was imagining what it would be like to eat a drop of glue and all the things that might happen if it starts seeping through your pores.
Enjoyed reading this and I am sure most of us are guilty of eating glue at some point in our youth. I am sure your littles will enjoy this book.

This book is a part of the Buddy the Corgi series, but can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. This book gives us the story of Buddy’s early life on the farm he was born on. We get to meet many of the different animals that Buddy lived with before being adopted by his forever family. The illustrations can almost make you wish to spend time on a farm…almost. With adorable pictures at the end of the book of the real life Buddy, what’s not to love? I would recommend this book to any parent or teacher of young children, or even children’s librarian.

What a cute and useful book. Baking with children is the best. But making dog treats is so much more to discover. The book not only talks about baking, it also touches on what food we can feed our furbabies. This author opens so many doors with this story. Baking, science, math and working together to name a few. The story is easy to follow and the recipes at the end sound so yummy for our dogs. Children will love baking for their dogs as well as their friends’ dogs. I love this book and my grandkids can’t wait to try more of the recipes found at the end of this book. What a great story!

This book is an adorable way to teach kids that not everything is instant gratification. The story introduces you to Buddy, a blue Corgi and explains his adoption story. This book is great for all kids, but I could definitely see it being especially meaningful to a child just getting their first pet or a child who is adopted at an age that they are old enough to understand its meaning. Buddy is an adorable puppy and the only blue Corgi in his whole litter. Once he’s adopted, he has two cat siblings and a whole family that loves him. I would recommend this for any elementary age child, or younger, though even as an adult, I enjoyed it myself. The illustrations are adorable, and the back even includes pictures of the real Buddy for a bonus. This book is part of the Buddy the Corgi series, but can absolutely be written as a stand-alone.

This is the cutest book that I read to my grandson. He is only one but enjoyed the illustrations. Its lets kids know that their are lots of places to live but no matter where you live you can make it a home.

This is a super cute read and I absolutely loved the brightness and creativity of the illustrations. This book is catchy and kiddos will love the sing-songy rhythm of the story. I really loved the concept of the story because who, as a child, hasn’t really wondered what would happen if you actually ate the glue??? This book is so entertaining that your littles will be laughing all the way through.

Luca Magoo, Don’t Eat the Glue by Megan Delgado is a fun children’s story, with some valuable life lessons on offer. The illustrations really brought the whole story to life, spurring the imagination with their cute, colourful, and engaging scenes.
Luca Magoo loves being creative, so when art class rolls around he is excited for a chance to let loose his artistic flair – but what happens when he is tempted to taste the sticky glue? This fun story takes us through all the ‘possible’ consequences’ and what Luca imagines might happen. This teaches children about curiosity, temptation, creativity, self-control, classroom etiquette, following rules for safety, and making sensible choices.
This was a great little read, my grandson loved reading this with me and caught on very quickly that Luca was not meant to eat the glue lol.

What is that saying, “Curiosity killed the cat”. Luca Magoo is a typical boy who is full of curiosity and wonder and definitely someone who needs to be watched. Wherever he goes there is mayhem and madness especially in the classroom. However, he does learn some valuable lessons about is inquisitive nature. Not only does Luca learn but his teacher does as well.

- Luca Magoo,Don’t Eat The Glue is part of the Luca Magoo Series. What a fun little story with colorful illustrations that brought the story to life. It’s Art Day and the students are told to use their imagination and make something wonderful. Luca grabs the glue but then is very tempted to have just a little taste. What does glue taste like? Let’s be safe and not eat the glue. This was a fun read. My son loved it. We highly recommend reading this book and look forward to reading more from this Author.

Good Things Take Time is the second book in the Buddy the Blue Corgi Series. Another wonderfully written children’s book that children of any age can enjoy. My six year old son loved this book and kept saying it’s ok buddy your forever family is coming very soon. Sometimes being patient is hard. Good Things come to those wait. Buddy was starting to get sad and felt unwanted but he stayed calm and his forever family came. We loved this book and the colorful illustrations help to bring the story to life. My son and I highly recommend reading this book and look forward to reading more from this Author.

Ok, admit it, when you were little you wanted to try the Elmer’s glue to. This story is awesome. Let your imagination roam with what would happen if you tried to taste the glue. Oh the things that could happen. This story let’s the creative imagination roam. I loved it. An awesome story that makes you remember those olden days as you’re reading this to your child or grandchildren. It’s funny and entertaining.

Decisions Matter is part of the Buddy the Blue Corgi Series. What a wonderful story about being honest and telling the truth. There seems to be a trash bandit getting into the trash and knocking over the trashcan. Buddy is determined to catch the trash bandit except he’s the one being blamed since he’s the only one there. Buddy is trying to prove it’s not him but someone else. He figures out who it actually is. Will he tell Donut who the trash bandit is? It’s always good to be honest. I tell my six year old to be honest and always tell the truth. Make good choices because bad choices have consequences. Another wonderful story. The colorful illustrations brought the story to life. I highly recommend reading this book to children of any age. We can’t wait to read more from this Author.
