The Good Neighbors is a messed up book, but in the best possible way! It is the first book I have read by Kiersten Modglin, but it wont be the last. The story as well as her writing had me not wanting to put the book down. I finished it in less than 24 hours, and was guessing until the very end. It was full of suspense and mystery, leaving you wondering who the good guys are. The book didn’t end the way I expected it to, and I now want to re read it, knowing what we learn at the end. Are the neighbors next door just too good to be true? They are both attractive, with great jobs, and an amazing home. But, shortly after moving in next door to them, strange things begin to happen. Those strange things soon turn creepy and leave you wondering if they are friend, or enemy. I don’t want to give anything away, but I highly recommend the book!

The Good Neighbors was an exciting thriller. This book kept me at the edge of my seat. I loved Bryant and Harper’s characters. They were easy to fall in love with. I also enjoyed Tori and Jay’s characters as well although they were not my most favorite. The author did an amazing job with all her character development and was very detailed with her settings. I found it easy to picture every scene. This is the first book I have read by this author. I was very impressed with this psychological thriller and will definitely be looking into more of her books. I really enjoyed this one and felt that it was an easy read. I highly recommend it.

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin is a suspenseful book and has you trying to figure out what’s going on until the very end. I know I was certainly trying to figure it out.

I will admit that I’m a little weird when it comes to my non romance books, I can’t do the psychological thriller/suspenseful books without it freaking me out. This had a little bit of the psychological but it wasn’t twisted like some I have tried reading.

Harper and Bryant’s relationship with the neighbors was an interesting one that’s for sure. Two young couples close to the same age should become friends, but it may not always be the best thing for any of the parties involved.

Ms. Modglin is a new to me author but I did see she has released some others. I fully intend to take a look and see if she can grab me once again, I hope she is successful.

This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I loved it. Its very different from what I’ve been reading lately but it took me back to the kind of books that got me back to reading years ago.

To say this book has twists and turns that weren’t expected is an understatement. I love that this book gave me a creepy vibe but it kept me glued to the pages until the very end.

Harper and Bryant move to this small town and meet neighbors that seem to be perfect but things always aren’t what they seem to be. They start questioning everything about their life and themselves!

Amazing read! If you like to be kept on your toes then this should definitely be a one-click for you!

Holy Hell! What can I say about The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin? Wow! This psychological thriller will drag you through the wringer. It will grab you from the very first page and take you on a tour through every emotion possible before spitting you out at the end wondering what the hell happened.
When newlyweds Bryant and Harper Page move to Lancaster Mills to start new jobs in their new careers, with their dream house they thought that their new life was perfect. That was until they met the beautiful couple next door Jason and Tori Fuller and then everything they dreamed and hoped for came crashing around them. Strange events start happening and all seems to be due to the strange couple next door. Are Tori and Jason hiding something? Are they the culprits of all the strange events that are happening?
The author throws so many curveballs at you and takes the story in a direction you definitely never saw coming. Even though the story is told in dual POV from Bryant and Harper, you are still left shocked and stunned at how this story unfolds.
If you like a good psychological thriller then The Good Neighbors is definitely the book for you. I loved this book and will definitely be checking out more of this author’s work.

I really loved this story. Its full of secrets and lies and just shows that no matter how well we know someone, we never completely know them.

Harper and Bryant moved to a nice house in Lancaster Mill with neighbours that seem to perfect to be real.

As the settle into their new life things turn weird between them and their neighbours.
Things go from bad to worse when Bryant falls for his neighbours charms and an affair begins.

However things aren’t what they seem, and Harper will get a shock she didnt see coming

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin is a suspense story that really is nothing like what I expected. That being said I’m not sure what I expected but it certainly wasn’t this and it was a complete surprise. WOW! Kiersten has done a great job with this plot and they way it was done was very clever. I enjoyed it but could not for the life of me work out where it was going, I was completely blindsided and loved every minute of it. I am not going to say anymore because I don’t want to give anything away, it was that good that I want you to be completely surprised.

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin was such a thrilling read. When moving you are always excited to meet your neighbors, learn the best restaurants, learn the neighborhood gossip, but you never expect what Bryant and Harper learned about their neighbors when they moved to Lancaster Mills. When they mullet Jason and Tori Fuller they were not very nice but Bryant and Harper were both still wanting to get to know whom they were neighbors with. Slowly they learn that there is so much to the Fullers but can they actually be dangerous?
This book had me at the edge of my seat and could NOT put it down. I kept trying to guess how the book would end, and nothing could prepare me for how is ended. WOW! THIS BOOK! This was my first book by this author and it won’t be my last. THIS FIVE STAR BOOK , WOW!

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin is a psychological thriller. What makes someone a good neighbor? New to the neighborhood, Bryant and Harper Page are glad to meet their new neighbors. The first impression might not be accurate in this case. I won’t say more about the plot because I don’t want to take away from anyone’s experience.
This is a good story that kept me reading. I really enjoyed the character development and story. I wasn’t sure what to expect and am glad this exceeded my expectations. I will be looking for more from this author in the future.

WHAT A RIDE! This book was much more than I expected it would be. Definitely a little thriller with a lot of psychological suspense! Do you have a fear of something? Maybe noises or the basement when you are home alone at night? (I mean who doesn’t? Right) This book plays on those fears. The author grabs them and pulls them forward until you can’t help but feel for these characters. Afraid, Scared and Worried. I started this and read late into the next morning. I could NOT put this one down. I needed to see what happens and whose digging the biggest hole. You know that hole right? It starts of with a little slip up then becomes a monster then you don’t know how to fill that hole back up to put things back to normal….and it just keeps growing…and growing. I loved how in this book everything started out small and slowly the characters are pulling their hair out and they don’t know how they got to that point. I mean it’s perfect..just perfect!

This author did an Ah-mazing job with this story! The creation of the situation these people find themselves in can so easily happen in real life. Scary! The writing flowed so nicely and the characters were spot on! This is a first time author for me and it won’t be the last! I plan on checking out her other books and recommending this one to many people!

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin. This book was AMAZING! I loved every second of it and I read it in one sitting. Its the story of Bryant & Harper Page newlyweds, who move from Chicago to a small town for Bryant’s new job as a History Teacher. Harper is working in hospital management hoping to move up the ladder. When they meet their neighbors Tori & Jason they seem like the perfect neighbors. Tori is a beautiful plastic surgeon and Jason is a freelance writer and they seem like the perfect couple! Harper gets a weird vibe from them but Bryant is enchanted with them. I can’t say a lot about what happens without spoiling the book but strange things start happening that make Bryant and Harper question ever moving there. This book is so good and filled with twists, turns and crazy happenings. Just be prepared to read it til the end when you start because there is no putting it down.

I love a good mystery/suspense book, and while I was hooked with this story it did lose my interest on a big subject matter that wasn’t given a hint at in the blurb. I try to avoid those storylines, as just a personal preference ( I will not disclose what that is here as it would spoil the story).
This had me scratching my head at what was happening and I will say i didn’t see the ending coming, like at all so it got me there, i was very shocked.
Was a very quick paced read, and it held my attention from beginning to end. I will read more by this author despite not liking a subject matter in this as it was needed for this story to work, just not my top choice to read about.

This is a new author to me so I didn’t know what to expect from her work going in. However the rave reviews and the blurb definitely piqued my interest. The rest of the book then definitely lived up to my expectations.
The book was full of twists and turns throughout. I never knew what was going to happen next which just added to the overall feel of the book. I was hooked from start to finish – so much so that I found I could not put the book down and had to read it all in one sitting! WOWZERS! This book is so good! There is not a single moment while reading that I wasn’t completely hooked into finding out what was going on at the root of everything. I have never had a chance to read Kiersten Modglin’s work prior to this but I can say now, without a doubt, she is going to be one of my go to for a good mind-bending and twisty thriller read. I look forward to seeing what is already available from her and what will come in the future.

This is such a difficult book for me to summarize and review without spoiling too much of that massive twist that one does not see coming. Trust me, I read the reviews and kind of thought I knew what to expect. Nope, this book takes a whole different turn of events and I loved every stinking minute of it. Harper and Bryant are wonderful and deep characters. I felt as if I was right there with them and experiencing all the emotions that they were having. The detail and world building is fantastic. AS for details those you will have to take my word for it and scoop this amazing read up to find out for yourself. I promise you will love it if you are a thriller fan. I for one will be re-reading soon! Thanks for the fabulous book Ms. Modglin!

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin was a story that I have not read in a long time. It was such an awesome read that kept me looking over my shoulders the entire time. The story is a simple family moves into their dream house and that is where it went wrong. Personally, when you find the house you can see yourself living in until you are old and grey you are excited and cannot wait until you move in. That is until you meet the neighbors. You know the little hairs on the back of your neck, which is a sign of danger proceed with caution. That is how I felt after Bryant and Harper met Jason and Tori. Something told me to scream leave when you can. This is a major roller coaster ride for a story and the ending will blow you away. I would devote time that you will not be disturbed while reading this book, trust me you will thank me when you are done with this book.

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin is a mind-bending suspense story that will blow your mind when you get to the end! You get a whiplash from all the twists and turns and they all make sense in the end! It is my first read by this writer and I know I will be going back to her when I feel like needing something nail-biting that I can drown in!
It all starts so innocent! Newlywed Harper and Bryant leave Chicago to move into their first house in a small town where they meet their ‘perfect’ neighbours Tory and Jason. Harper gets a vibe off them but is not really able to pin point it … the further you get into the story you start asking yourself whether they are good or bad or stalkerish or simply crazy … I promise you that you will not be able to put the book down once you start so make sure you have enough time planned to do so!

Oh My Gosh I loved this book!! I found myself reading so fast and trying to slow down to make it last longer. This is my first book by this author and I absolutely savored every word.

I love suspense novels, especially ones that move along and waste no time having me on the edge of my seat. I also love how its obvious its one person so you know it cant be that person and have it all figured out that it’s another person only to find out you are so so wrong. The way this author twisted this story this way then that way had my mind totally screwed up..Which was awesome and terrifying, and completely psychologically satisfying.

I sincerely felt like I was in this book, walking right alongside these characters watching this all play out and that ending…I just don’t know what to say..

I will be reading more from this author like as soon as I can and I hope that anyone that reads this review as vague as it is will run and one click this book because it is everything you ever wanted in a psychological thriller and much more.

Amazingly Awesome!

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin was a gripping psychological thriller, that had me hooked from start to finish.

Have you ever sat at the end of a book and just went, what the hell… what the hell? That was me, full on, not really comprehending how the author led me by the nose. This book was even told in dual POV and still managed to mislead you and catch you off guard. Again, what the hell?… (These are good, what the hells, BTW)

At first this book read like you’re normal romance, opens pretty clean, meet the creepy neighbours and what not. But then things got crazy, I mean, there is one scene were I’m like, that just happened, that really just happened. I felt for Harper, and it really shows you how things can get out of hand in an instance. It also shows the difference in loyalties, temptation and how when two people are presented with the same situation, that there are two totally different outcomes. Pretty freaking amazing if you ask me.

I can go one and on, but even if i get into character pros and cons, I might spoil something, as everything is so intertwine that one small thing might ruin the magic of this mine twisting thriller. Cause when you get to that plot twist/bomb, you’re not going to see it coming, and you’re going to be sitting there going, what the hell!?

So overall, yes, I loved this book, and yes I am going to be checking out more books by this crazy author, and yes, this book gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.

Happy Reading

The story The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin is an amazing psychological thriller that I loved reading. It pulled me in from the very beginning and kept me on the edge of my seat. The book grabbed my attention and didn’t let go until I had finished the final page. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Bryant and Harper Page. They have just purchased and moved to Lancaster Mills. They however find their next-door neighbors a bit strange. They still make an effort to be neighborly and friendly even though their first encounter with their neighbors is anything but a warm welcome. Jason and Tori Fuller seem to be the perfect couple, both in their looks and their home. The Fuller’s also seemed to have secrets. When strange occurrences start to happen at the Page home, Bryan and Harper wonder who could be behind them. Are their neighbors dangerous? What does the future hold for Bryan and Harper? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. It is a book that has emotional dialogue and intense scenes. The way that the author has written the story I felt like I was right there with the characters. This is a story that I would highly recommend reading.
