I love a good mystery/suspense book, and while I was hooked with this story it did lose my interest on a big subject matter that wasn’t given a hint at in the blurb. I try to avoid those storylines, as just a personal preference ( I will not disclose what that is here as it would spoil the story).
This had me scratching my head at what was happening and I will say i didn’t see the ending coming, like at all so it got me there, i was very shocked.
Was a very quick paced read, and it held my attention from beginning to end. I will read more by this author despite not liking a subject matter in this as it was needed for this story to work, just not my top choice to read about.
