Five Stars

If the Shoe Fits is the third book in the Liberty Laurence Series by Bea Stevens. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I would recommend reading the series in order. All of the books are great and they have recurring characters throughout the series. This book had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last. I love the way this author can make me laugh out loud and give such heartwarming feel good emotions. Libby is back in this story with a new dream job, that isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. The story is full of suspense, action and romance. It is really fun to watch this series spin out and I’m hope that it will continue with another story from Bea coming soon. If you are looking for a story that will make you smile, I highly recommend this book and series.

If the Shoe Fits (The Liberty Lawrence Series Book 3) by Bea Stevens
4 out of 5 Stars
This third book in the Liberty Lawrence series is just as fantastic as the first two. Libby is really a magnet for trouble. She can’t seem to keep her or her shoes out of trouble. This book can be read as a standalone, but as an avid reader, I am a huge advocate for reading a series in book order to get the most out of the series, as the author intended.
Libby is going places in the workforce. She was given the job of a lifetime when she lands a position in the fashion section of the Women’s Matter, a supplement to the Chronicle, but the new fancy job comes with a terrible boss…Valerie.
After discovering that her boss has made a terrible deal with an even more terrible person, Libby is determined to get to the bottom of the scam and find out who the real Fraud is…and yet somehow…it all leads back to her boss.
This mystery is lighthearted, hilarious and highly entertaining. You will laughing and flipping the pages as fast as you can and will be shocked at the final outcome! Highly recommended.

If the Shoe Fits by Bea Stevens
Book 3 in The Liberty Lawrence series

Book three is just as great as the first two books! It seems Libby finds trouble no matter where she goes or what she does, which makes for an excellent read. You could read this as a standalone but I highly recommend reading all 3 books, you won’t be sorry.

After leaving book 2 I was nervous for James and Libby’s relationship, and although it seemed as if everything was on track, this book made me have some doubts for a minute due to the situations both were put in.

Libby finally gets to move departments and join the Woman Matters supplement for the paper she works for. She is extremely excited and from then on starts messing up royally when it comes to her new up tight and snotty boss. Poor Libby just doesn’t know when to keep her mouth shut. She also has to deal with Suzanne, James’ ex wife all of the sudden moving into his flat which puts some tension in their relationship. On top of everything else she starts getting threatening text messages.

When her new boss Valerie makes a bad deal with a shady man claiming to be the head of a clothing line, it is Libby and her new position that discovers he is a fake and a scam artist. Along with her best friend Cassie they determine who the fraud is and all the connections it has to Valerie, Libby’s past run ins and weirdly enough Suzanne.

Overall a great read! I didn’t want to give too much away because some parts i was surprised at what happened and who was behind it. I would not be opposed if there were a 4th book in this series. I love Libby’s character and reading about her relationship with James and all the drama she gets mixed up with.

If the Shoe Fits (The Liberty Lawrence Series Book 3) by Bea Stevens – Review by Heather Bass

If the Shoe Fits... (The Liberty Lawrence Series Book 3)If the Shoe Fits… by Bea Stevens
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the third book to the amazing series of Libby Lawrence. I absolutely love a good rom com but this talented author always exceeds my expectations. I do recommend reading the first two books before this one so you don’t get lost. You will fall in love with these characters all over again. I was hooked on this book from the first chapter. It only took me a little over a day to devour this incredible book.

Liberty Lawrence loves fashion all the way down to the shoes. She is so excited when she gets appointed to a new dream job. Libby is now working for Valerie. She didn’t know that this dream job could also become a nightmare. Libby’s new boss is very nasty to her. She is also dealing with her hunky boyfriends ex still. Libby is ready to move on with James but will she be able to get the ex out? She is excited when they bring in a new designer. Libby quickly realizes there is something off about the handsome Quinton Bellis. She is going to figure it out but will she find danger as well? Will Libby figure out what is really going on or will it all be a misunderstanding?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, suspense, and shoes. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters. Libby loves her fashion. She is very smart quirky woman that is a little clumsy. I absolutely love her. James is your all American cop. He is dreamy and has a heart of gold. The way he treats Libby will make your heart melt. This talented author will have you at the edge of your seat until the end. I can’t wait to see what will happen next to this unforgettable couple.

Best Foot Forward (Liberty Lawrence Series Book #1) by Bea Stevens – Review by Angela Hayes

Best Foot Forward is the first book in the Liberty Lawrence series by Bea Stevens. This is such a charming, fairly light-hearted and fun read- I was entirely engaged and entertained the whole way through. This is a great start to a wonderful series, and lays down the building blocks and foundation for the rest of the series to be built on
I loved Liberty, she loves fashion…. And adores shoes!! She’s a little clumsy, fun, and a little off-beat….. which made her very endearing and entirely relatable. This series follows her escapades, with interesting and very entertaining results.
Libby has a job as a junior manager at a London hotel, where we soon discover that her boss’s office is the site of a theft. Libby has a good idea of who the culprit could be, but the handsome investigating officer doesn’t seem interested in her opinion. There’s a lot to enjoy about this delightful tale- and what transpires made for some really great reading.

Thank you, Ms. Stevens!

Stepping It Up (Liberty Lawrence Series Book #2) by Bea Stevens – Review by Angela Hayes

4 Stars

Stepping It Up is the second book in the Liberty Lawrence series by Bea Stevens. This is a charming, light-hearted and fun read that is entirely entertaining. This is the second book in the series, but you could read it as a standalone. But, having said that, I really recommend reading the first book before embarking on this read- because the first book introduces you to recurring characters, and lays out a foundation that the series will be built on. Plus, it’s a great read as well!

I loved Liberty, she loves fashion…. And shoe!! She’s also somewhat clumsy, fun, and a little off-beat….. making her very likeable and entirely relatable. This series follows her escapades, with some interesting and very entertaining results.

In this book, Libby has a new job as a reporter, which she had hoped would be the beginning of great things for her. But, things ae not playing out the way she had hoped. For a start, she is teamed up with Dave Chandler and is supposed to be shadowing him. But, Dave proves to be challenging on several levels- as he loves to run everywhere he goes; and then to top it off, he sneaks off without her. Plus, she isn’t ‘fitting in’ at the office either, as the other women seem to dislike her. Also, her best friend Cassie seems to have her life on track and is doing quite well- making Libby feel even more off-keel. But, the most troubling thing for Libby is how much she likes James Harper, who we met in the previous book- but he’s just too side-tracked to notice, or care. Not one to give up so easily, Libby decides that it’s time she does something about her situation- it’s time she started Stepping it Up! And what transpires made for some really great reading. I would happily recommend this book/series to anyone looking for a great Chick Lit story, that is light on the drama, but not lacking in enjoyment!

Looking forward to book #3!

Thank you, Ms. Stevens!
