The Traitor (An Underground Bad Boys Romance Book 2) By India Kells 5 stars
The Traitor by India Kells is the second installment of the Underground Bad Boys Romance series. It is a quick read that will suck you in from the very beginning. This is the story of Spencer Knox and Josie Baird. Spencer has recently moved to a small town and is now the owner of a mechanic shop. He has his dark demons and has done some things that he is ashamed of. Josie was recently separated from her ex-husband and must overwork herself to be able to pay him back so she can finally get divorced. While looking for another job to add to all the others that she needs to pay off her ex-husband, she meets Spencer and his friend Gage. The chemistry is undoubtedly instant and the magic that happens between these three characters, is like human combustion. If you are into ménage et trois (M/F/M), then this is the book for you.

BECKONED, Part 6: Adrift in New Zealand By Aviva Vaughn 5 Stars
BECKONED, Part 6: Adrift in New Zealand by Aviva Vaughn is the final installment of the Beckoned series. Soren is in Costa Rica still working the kinks in his relationship with Elena. Just when he thinks things are going well and he is in a happy place, his new business has him traveling to New Zealand. During his time in New Zealand, he comes into contact with two women from his past. Soren’s not so lucky journey for love may take a turn for the better or worst. You have to read this series and book to find out the outcome.
It is sad to see this series come to and end but also happy to see how Soren evolves in his relationships. Soren has been through a lot, including his family cutting him off monetarily, which has made him evolve into the man he has become and a great character to read about. Aviva doesn’t disappoint with her highly descriptive scenarios that make you feel that you are in all the countries that her stories take place in. I highly recommended this series, and should be read from the beginning, in order, to get the backstory on all the characters and great locations that are visited along the way

Hawke by Anise Storm is the first installment of the Men of Syn Series. Charlotte Maxwell is a party planner and owner of Platinum Dreams. He has hired Charlotte’s company to plan the club opening when he comes to terms as to who Charlotte is and what she did on their first encounter in his other club. There is trouble on the horizon for Charlotte, will Hawke set his pride aside and help Charlotte to safety? This story is very steamy and has some scenes that may have triggers for some. Pandora’s Price (Hart & Cole Book 3) by Sacha T. Y. Fortuné 5 Stars
Pandora’s Price by Sacha T.Y. Fortuné is the the third installment of the Hart & Cole Series. This book is the continuation of Darren and Luisa’s story, which starts off from where book 2 ended. This book is not a standalone and must read books 1 & 2 to get the back story on the characters in the story. This series is not your typical “love story”, there are everyday issues that go on in real marriages and relationships. This story touches on the subject of infidelity and how it affects more than one couple. You can’t get any closer to real life in this story, as Sacha T.Y. Fortuné has written a jaw dropping and raw storyline. I am completely hooked to this series and can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Coming Home (Flowers in December #2) By Jane Suen 5 Stars

Mary Ann is currently in a relationship with someone else, but could a Christmas miracle bring her and Connor back together? This is a short read with a great storyline that will keep you engaged until he end. Keep the tissues handy for this emotional story about love, healing and forgiveness. I highly recommend this series and look forward to more great books by Jane Suen.

Pandora’s Poison (Hart & Cole Book 2) By Sacha T.Y. Fortune 5 Stars
Pandora’s Poison by Sacha T.Y. Fortune is the second installment of the Hart & Cole Series. It is a contemporary romance story about Darren and Luisa. Their tumultuous marriage is full of mistrust, jealousy and infidelity. Sacha has written a real-to-life situation that will take you into a journey through this couple’s life and how they cope and interact with the obstacles that are thrown their way. The story is written in an alternating POV which gives you the raw emotion each person is feeling after every scene. This story took me through a roller coaster of feelings and emotions. I also sympathized and related with the characters as a person that dealt with infidelity in her past marriage. There are moments in the story that are so raw that I felt that the story was written about my past marriage. What will happen between Darren and Luisa? I guess I will have to wait until book 3. I highly recommend this book and series, which should be read in order so you can get the back story on the characters. Can’t wait to see what book 3 has in store for Darren and Luisa.
Finding Juniper by Sadia Ash is the sequel of Juniper Smoke. Finding Juniper is not a standalone read as it starts where Juniper Smoke left off. After several weeks of Kyle and Juniper not speaking, Kyle is back in Maryland desperate to get Juniper back in his life. Juniper is not having it and has had enough with his looming history of women. She loves Kyle but not sure if she would be able to gain his trust and be with him. This angst filled book will have you pulling your hair and wanting to choke Kyle for being so stupid. Kyle and Juniper are meant to be together but continues to revert back to his old ways. Will Kyle be able to leave his past and finally win Juniper’s trust and be together as they should? I was waiting a while for this sequel and was happy to see that Sadia Ash finally released it. Sadia’s seamless story writing and her attention to detail in every scene is amazing. You are automatically transported to Juniper and Kyle’s world with Sadia’s colorful writing. I truly recommend this book and series, as it is very well written and one of my favorites for years to come.

Climbing The Walls (Hart & Cole Book 1) by Sacha T. Y. Fortuné 5 Stars
Climbing The Walls by Sacha T.Y. Fortune is the first installment of the Hart & Cole Series and it is a contemporary romance book. This is the story of Kris and Nicole, a married couple with children and how they deal with their day to day relationship. They are total polar opposites but you know what they say, opposites attract. Kris is a patient and caring person which would do anything for his family, even if it means doing more than his share. Nicole is beautiful and very is sexy, but an can be a total bitch. She always finds a way to use her sex appeal to get her way. She is realizing with time that her children always gravitate to their father, because she is a workaholic and is never home. She wants to become a better mother but she always allows her work and her writing to get in the way. These two have so much raw chemistry that when they clash, they clash hard, but find the way to makeup and sparks fly. Since the story is written in alternating POV, you always know how Kris & Nicole are feeling at that moment, whether it is anger, jealousy or happiness. There were times in the story that I got so frustrated with both due to their volatile relationship and how they treated each other so cruelly at times, it makes you wonder if they will be able to maintain their marriage with all the obstacles put in their way. I enjoyed reading this book and found myself at times pushing myself to read past my bedtime. I recommend this book and I definitely look forward to reading the rest of the series.
The Way You Are (The Carolina Connections #5) by Sylvie Stewart 4 Stars
The Way You Are by Sylvie Stewart is the fifth installment of The Carolina Connections series. This story is a romantic comedy about Liv and Brett. Liv is not only beautiful, she smart and her boyfriend is a local baseball player. She meets Brett at one of the local baseball games her boyfriend and cousin was playing. Brett is handsome and always placed on the “friend zone,” girls always see him as great friend. As the saying goes, girls can’t be friends with boys, might just backfire on Liv and Brett. Will the opportunity arise for these two to finally hook up? Sylvie Stewart writes a seamless storyline that captures you attention from the beginning, from the chapter titles to the sarcasm. Characters are well developed and easy to hate or love, depending who they are in the story. I have read other books from this series and I enjoyed reading this installment. I recommend reading from the first book to learn more about each of the characters that are represented in each book.

Souls Collide (The Collide Series Book 3) By Kristina Beck 5 Stars
Souls Collide by Kristina Beck is the third installment of The Souls Collide Series. It is a romantic suspense about Alexa and Kent, that will keep you on the edge of your seat. When I saw that this book is a romantic suspense, I didn’t expect some comedy. There are some really funny parts, as I was not able to put my Kindle down until I was done, I read this ebook in one sitting in just a few hours. Alexa is a ray of sunshine, independent, smart and beautiful to boot. Men are constantly dropping at her every step but unfortunately she has had no luck finding the right guy. The nicknames she makes for her past dates are hilarious i.e. Joker the Poker. Kent is a hot cop who has had to deal with grief and a sick sister, which has made him quite an angry and bitter person. When these two souls collide at a nearby hospital, their worlds will change forever. Will Alexa be able to break down Kent’s walls? While these two are getting to know each other better, Alexa is in danger and has stalker making her life a living hell. All the supportive characters in this book are great and will have you suspecting who the mystery stalker is. Kristina Beck wrote a seamless storyline that was difficult to put down, I truly enjoyed reading this book. This is the first book in the Collide Series that I have read and will be going back to the first two books and read them.

Guilty Pleasures Vol. 2 by Joyce McCarthy is a compilation of short, steamy, erotic stories. The stories are based on Brad, a college student, and his sexual adventures. Each story is with a different woman and different fantasy situation: teacher/student hook up, the sexy MILF next door, best friends mom, and more. The stories are very steamy and have very detailed scenes, which will have you fanning yourself or running to take a cold shower. This book is a great quick read in between long reads or when you are on a book hangover. I recommend this book and look forward to reading more from Joyce McCarthy.
Sailors Knot (Eastern Shores Swingers Book 4) By Phoebe Alexander 5 Stars
Sailors Knot by Phoebe Alexander is the fourth installment of the Eastern Shores Swingers Series. Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone, although I recommend reading the series in order to learn about the backstory of the characters in this story. This story is a second chance and swingers romance. This is the story of Casey Fontane. Casey is in California with her sister, while she is battling cancer. Her friends, Leah and Paisley, come to visit her and share some interesting stories about their lives. Casey shares her story about Gabriel and Joshua. Will she be able to reconcile with both men from her past? Will there be a second chance? I thoroughly have enjoyed reading this series so far, and this book is the best of the series. If you are into really steamy reads, this is the story to read.

Love, Christmas – Movies You love is a boxed set anthology of 26 Christmas stories based on movies. Each story is unique in its own way and will have you either laughing, crying, or sitting at the edge of of your seat in suspense. All the stories are great but three stories stood out to me: Finding Love On Christmas Vacation by Stacy Eaton, A Christmas Creek Carol by Rachelle Ayala and A Christmas Getaway by Jen Talty.
Finding Love on Christmas Vacation by Stacy Eaton is the story of Lucy, which spends every Christmas with her father, Charlie, at his cabin. This year she will spend it without her father, since is has passed away and she will be spreading his ashes on the lake as per his final request. Her father always spoke of a friend that always stayed in the neighboring cabin, his name is Maverick. Have you ever fallen in love with someone before you meet them? Maverick did,he was in love with Lucy by the stories and pictures her father always shared with Maverick through the years. He finally has his chance to meet her and the connection is instant between the two. This is a quick, holiday romance that you will truly enjoy the same way I did.
A Christmas Creek Carol by Rachelle Ayala is the story of Ebony and Blaze. Ebony is a writer that is back in Christmas Creek for the holidays to write her next story. Blaze is in the military and visiting his father for the holiday but also to see Ebony. Blaze will go to any lengths to make Ebony realize that they are meant to be together. Will Ebony finish writing her story and will Blaze finally be with Ebony? You will have to read to find out.
A Christmas Getaway by Jen Talty is the story about Olivia and Ryder. Olivia always takes her son Noah away for the holidays, since his dad was a Navy Pilot that was killed before he was born. Ryder is a Navy Seal that has book a cabin at a resort for the holidays. What are the odds that two people can book the same cabin at the same time? Well it happens to Olivia and Ryder and this is how the two meet. Ryder, like Olivia & Noah, has suffered an immense loss when his wife and sons were murdered the day after Christmas. Both have shared loss and they both can help each other through the pain of loss of your significant other. This story completely gutted me but also made me smile on how these two strangers can fall in love in the midst of pain.
I truly enjoyed reading all the stories in this anthology. It had me jonesing for the holidays to get here. I highly recommend this anthology and read each one so you can find your favorites.

Paisley’s past comes back to haunt and she must turn to Calvin for help. Will Calvin be able to protect her? Will he be able to change Paisley’s view on relationships? I enjoyed the characters in this book. Both are very confident and comfortable with their beliefs and with the alternative lifestyle presented in the book. Fisher of Men by Phoebe Alexander is the first installment of the Eastern Shore Swingers series. This book is contemporary romance and touches on the subject of swinging couples. This story is about Leah Miller and Chris Sheldon a.k.a. Cap. Leah grew up in a small town to religious parents and she decided to spread her wings by attending Cornell University and study Hospitality Management. Cap is a charter fishing captain in Ocean City and also is part of an alternative lifestyle. She is very intrigued and attracted to Cap but she is not sure about his lifestyle due to her upbringing and beliefs. Will Cap and Leah find common ground or will their difference in opinions stop them from being in a relationship? You would have to read this story to find out! I enjoyed reading Cap and Leah’s story and how their relationship evolves around Leah’s beliefs and how she can work around it to open up to Cap and his alternative lifestyle. Cap is a very persuasive Alpha male that knows his way into a woman’s heart and panties. I recommend this book and look forward to reading the next book in the series.

The chemistry between Jack and Jillian is instant when they meet and she is a very attractive distraction that he cannot afford to have her distract him from the contract he must complete on time. Will Jack and Jillian be able to work together while keeping their attraction in check? There is someone that is trying to get in Jack’s way for him not to complete the contract in time. Summer Fling by Tarrah Anders is a contemporary romance which will suck you into the storyline from the beginning of the book. It is a quick read and you won’t be able to put your Kindle down until you are done. This story is about Emma and Royce. Emma hasn’t had the best track record with relationships, especially with relationships that start and end after summer is over. She meets Royce and is instantly attracted to him but instantly puts up her walls. Royce is there to stay and not planning to to leave after the summer. Will Emma allow Royce to break down her walls and allow him to be her forever? The chemistry between both characters is palpable throughout the story. Tarrah Anders wrote a seamless and quick storyline that can be read and in one day. I thoroughly enjoyed both main characters and this story. I highly recommend this book and look forward to read more from Tarrah Anders.

Special Agent Charli (Undercover FBI Book 6) By Mimi Barbour 5 Stars
Special Agent Charli by Mimi Barbour is the sixth installment of the Undercover FBI series. This story is a suspenseful, romance thriller which can be read as a standalone. With the scene in the first chapter, I was completely hooked into the storyline and couldn’t stop reading to find out what would happen. This is the story of Charli Madison and Blake Sebastian. Charli is an undercover FBI agent that is getting ready to leave on vacation when she ends up involved in a protection detail of a young girl that witnesses a crime. In comes Blake, also a law enforcement officer that will assist her during the protection order. Blake reeks of Alpha male all over, he is a ladies man and seems to be getting Charli’s attention but not in a good way. They need to set aside the tension between them to make sure the killer does not succeed in getting to the protected witness. While protecting the young witness, will Blake be able to get into Charli’s heart? Will they both succeed in catching the killer on the loose? This story had me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading. Both main characters had so much tension and chemistry that is was bouncing of the walls. I highly recommend this story and look forward to reading the other books from this series.
Degrees of Innocence (A Prestian Series Book 1) By Via Mari 5 Stars
Degrees of Innocence by Via Mari is the first installment of the Prestian Series. Although it is a steamy romance novel, it has plenty of action and mystery to keep in suspense and on the edge of your seat. This is the story of Kate and Chase. Kate is a strong an independent with a no-holds barred attitude; she gets what she wants and knows how to get it. Chase is hot, Alpha male, but deep down, he has a soft side that Kate easily brings to the surface whenever she is around him. Their first encounter is an instant connection, with chemistry sparkling like fireworks. This story will suck you in from the very beginning through to the end. Via Mari created likable characters and wrote a seamless storyline that made reading a breeze and entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.

Just Exes by Charity Ferrell is a second chance romance book. It is the story of Lauren and Gage and I was hooked from the very beginning. Lauren is a very caring person and will drop anything to help when in need. Gage is heartbroken and deep down still loves Lauren and will go to any lengths to protect her. Lauren and Gage were once a couple and things did not end well between them. But although others may think they hate each other, they still have chemistry and an attraction for each other. Will Lauren and Gage be able to work out their indifferences and fall in love for the second time? This book is a must read! This story was well written and flowed seamlessly. It was hard to put this book down. The characters are well developed and supporting characters in the story helped the storyline between the two main character. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more from Charity Ferrell.
Phoenix Rising: A Fortis Security Novel Book 7 (Fortis Security Series) by Maddie Wade 5 Stars
Phoenix Rising by Maddie Wade is the seventh installment of the Fortis Security Series. This installment is about Daniel Thompson and Megan Bennett. Although Daniel can be very protective, he has a soft side. He is very attracted to Megan Bennett, but he is trying to restrain his feelings for her. Megan is not only beautiful but she is also warmhearted, charitable and intelligent. She is always ready to help others. Megan is also attracted to Daniel and the chemistry between them is palpable. Be prepared with a fan because here will be some scenes while reading that may cause you to fan yourself? While this story is a romance, the whole book isn’t lovey dovey, there is also danger. Megan is in a dangerous predicament, will Daniel be able to save her? Will Megan’s dangerous predicament bring them closer together and finally have a happily every after? The only way to find out is by reading this story. I truly enjoyed reading Daniel and Megan’s story. Although I have read a few books from this series, I have not read the complete series sequentially. I recommend this story and series and plan to go back and read the series in order.

Behind the Fan by Caroline Walken is a Paranormal Romance. I usually do not read anything that is in the Paranormal genre, but I gave this book a chance. This story is about Dorothy Kennedy-Denham, her family has decided to put her in a nursing home due to memory loss. As they gather her stuff for her move, her family learns about her past that they did not know about. This story is very emotional due to Dorothy’s condition and all the other feelings this story stirs while learning about her past. Caroline Walken is a first to me author and I enjoyed reading this story. This was a very touching story and the characters were well developed.

New Bloom (Bloom Duet Book 1) By A.E.Gamrat 4 Stars
New Bloom by A.E. Gamrat is the first installment of the Bloom Duet. It is a YA Coming of Age story about a young lady, Gwen, that graduates college and goes through the motions of how to live her life after living a sheltered life. Gwen has always followed her Mother’s rules and has never had a boyfriend. She doesn’t know how to let go and have fun. While working at her parent’s flower shop, she meets Kame. She is instantly attracted to him and is confused by her feelings, as she has never felt that way about anyone. Will she be able to break free from her sheltered beliefs and let loose for Kame? Will Gwen’s mother approve of her relationship with Kame? This was a well written story that flowed seamlessly. I enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading the second book to find out more about Gwen

Eternal Bloom (Bloom Duet Book 2) By A.E. Gamrat 4 Stars
Eternal Bloom by A.E Gamrat is the second installment of the Bloom Duet. This books starts where book 1 left off. I recommend reading New Bloom so you can get the background on the main character. Gwen’s mother was admitted to the hospital and she is dealing with the possibility of her mother not able to fully recover. Gwen’s life seems to be going downhill and losing grip. She also fears that her relationship with Kame will also fail due to her mother’s health and also the fact that her mother was not fond of Kame. He is has communication issues and seems to be hiding something. This story concentrates more on Gwen’s relationship with her mother and her inner turmoil dealing with her current situation in her life. Gwen’s grows a lot within the second book and is much stronger compared to the first book. I truly enjoyed this book duet and recommend to any that enjoys YA and Coming of Age books. I am pretty sure there are plenty of readers that can relate to Gwen’s story.
