Climbing The Walls by Sacha T.Y. Fortune is the first installment of the Hart & Cole Series and it is a contemporary romance book. This is the story of Kris and Nicole, a married couple with children and how they deal with their day to day relationship. They are total polar opposites but you know what they say, opposites attract. Kris is a patient and caring person which would do anything for his family, even if it means doing more than his share. Nicole is beautiful and very is sexy, but an can be a total bitch. She always finds a way to use her sex appeal to get her way. She is realizing with time that her children always gravitate to their father, because she is a workaholic and is never home. She wants to become a better mother but she always allows her work and her writing to get in the way. These two have so much raw chemistry that when they clash, they clash hard, but find the way to makeup and sparks fly. Since the story is written in alternating POV, you always know how Kris & Nicole are feeling at that moment, whether it is anger, jealousy or happiness. There were times in the story that I got so frustrated with both due to their volatile relationship and how they treated each other so cruelly at times, it makes you wonder if they will be able to maintain their marriage with all the obstacles put in their way. I enjoyed reading this book and found myself at times pushing myself to read past my bedtime. I recommend this book and I definitely look forward to reading the rest of the series.
