This latest installment in the Beachcomber Investigations series literally started off with a massive bang and I was caught up in the aftermath instantly till the very last page. Beachcomber Enemy is the tenth book in the series and I would HIGHLY recommend that you read at the very least several, if not all, of the previous books before you start this one. There is a lot of back story that will not only enhance your reading pleasure, but make the story make so much more sense. I especially enjoyed the focus being on Dane and Shana. These two are explosive in the chemistry department and it truly makes them so much fun to read. I find that the romance really balances the intense action adventure that flows throughout much of the novel. My only complaint as usual is that I didn’t want this to end! I can’t wait to see what else will come next. I am sure it will be as fantastic and adventurous if not more so than this one!
Minx by Maggie Adams was so stinking fun to read! I have never had the pleasure of reading anything by Maggie Adams prior to this but now I must say I am dying to get my hands on some more of her work and anything else she may create for readers in the future. Minx is a fast read, one that you could devour on a dreary rainy day to brighten things up, or even perfect for a poolside read. As soon as I started reading about Miranda Blake I was hooked and found myself finished in one sitting. I would love to see more Miranda in the future because I feel like there is still so much story potential left in her character. *wink wink*
Miranda Blake is the exact type of person that I am so it was super easy for me to relate to her on multiple levels. She is such a good-doer for anyone and everyone that she often gets left in the dust with little to nothing left for herself. Now that is all about to change as she grabs life by the horns and starts to find her voice. I loved watching her grow to find that inner sassy voice that she always had but wasn’t sure how to use. Definitely a five star read that I will be finding time to re-read once again soon.
Having never read anything of Holly Kerr I completely went into this book blindly based off the gorgeous cover and that catchy line… Can a runaway bride find love with someone else’s jilted groom? Well, frankly I just had to know the answer for myself. I am so glad that I scooped this up! I truly enjoyed the light and fun rom-com feel of the book and was quickly invested in finding out what Flora would end up getting herself after that explosive beginning. Holly Kerr takes a fairly generic concept of the runaway bride and writes a fantastic story about finding love and learning to love oneself. Flora and Dean are both great characters and seem to balance each other quite well making this seem a feasible and realistic read. I personally can’t wait to see what else I have been missing by Ms. Kerr and what else will come from her in the future!

I’m not sure still what words I can come up with to properly describe my adoration of this novel and the rest of the BECKONED series from Aviva Vaughn. I’d have to say that I am a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to my emotions, something I tend to find myself often doing when I finish one of her books. I fell in love with book one, Beckoned: Part 1 From London With Love and the characters that would soon find a way into a permanent part of my heart. I have traveled to some amazing places, eaten and very well tasted with the way Vaughn writes, and I have been consumed with the peace that I seem to find whilst reading. I would highly recommend that you read all the books, in order, before you dive into this one, although if there is any that can be read as a stand alone in the series this book is the one.
Soren truly comes full circle in Adrift in New Zealand. I felt as if I could predict where this book would go but boy was I surprised. There were several moments when I was completely sideswiped with the turn of events, making everything seem that much more realistic. I absolutely loved how everything tied up and found its way into the perfect ending. While I am saddened that this is the last of the BECKONED series I look forward to seeing what else Aviva Vaughn will spin out next. I am sure that whatever it will be will soon consume me as well! This is the first book I have read by Lisette Kristensen but it will not be my last. The action and adventure that follows Halo really is what makes this book. I wasn’t completely sold on the character at first but as I became more and more involved in the high stakes terrorist fight that unfolds I was quickly swallowed in whole. I would be interested in seeing what else there is to find out about the characters in the first book this time around however. Combined with reading out of order and the short brief and rushed feeling I got with the size of the novel is my only reason really for marking it four instead of five stars. I am definitely looking forward to book three as well.

Okay, I DID NOT expect to love this book as much as I did. I am the first to put a sci-fi book on the back burner to read something more in line with rom-coms and steamy reads. I am so glad that I did not do that with this book! Not only did I gain a new author to check out but I now have a new series that I can’t wait to get my hands on and follow in the near future.
Evolution: Awakening Hope brings us Ash, one female MC that I just couldn’t get enough of. She inherits her uncle’s PI firm and it is the absolute last thing she wants. Just when you think this is enough of a story arc there is more introduced with the mysterious things that start to happen around Ash. Will she be able to handle everything that is coming her way? I can’t wait for the next one! I have to know what will come next. Thanks so much for the fantastic change of pace Ms. Anika!
Fierce Emotions is the eighth book in the Marcy series from Linda Burson, and truly should be read in order with the rest of the novels. Each book is a continuation of the story of Marcy. We find her each time dealing with new obstacles while balancing her two protective husbands and her toddler. I love the way that Linda Burson can grab you right away from page one and keep you invested in the story until the very last page. I will be the first to admit that at first I was a bit annoyed with how many books there was in this series when I had stumbled upon it, but now I can say honestly I understand why. The story just gets better and better. I really can’t wait to find out what will come next for Marcy and the rest of the fantastic characters of the Marcy series.

First off I just have to get out of the way one thing… Gwyn McNamee can write anything! She stole my heart and attention with her Hawke family novels and I have been literally addicted ever since. When I first saw that this was something that Gwyn was doing I had to have it and was anxious for it to hit my Kindle. This was so very different from what we normally see from her and I have to say I like it. This was a tad more angsty and dramatic, a touch of the dark hit the soul when you read pieces of the story and it grips you until that last and deliciously frustrating cliff hanger. War and Grace are two characters that I know will stick with me for a long while. Between the shenanigans that flow on board the ship and the tantalizing chemistry between War and Grace this book was one that had me glued from beginning to end all in one sitting. I can’t bring myself to share much more than what Ms. McNamee has already given us in the blurb so for all the juicy details and bits you will just have to take the plunge and one-click this for yourself.

I am still reeling from my time spent with Impact, the fourth and final book in Autumn Sands Twisted Hearts series. I would have to say that calling this my favorite of the four is difficult because each of the stories are wonderful and should be enjoyed. Impact is written like the others so that you could read it on its own. Impact is fully loaded with the hot and steamy Manuel Leon, or Manny. A well known playboy of his time has to face love head on in this one and it is a hot and sultry journey. I loved ow Manny stands out among other alpha males that I have read this year and must say bravo to Ms. Sand for making me love him so much when I honestly thought I wouldn’t. I am dying to get my hands on the next novel that spins off this fantastic series!

India Kells really just keeps on outdoing her own self. I have been an avid reader of Kells for a long time now so any time a new book of hers is available I tend to scoop them up without so much as a blink. I’m especially partial to this Dark Sparrow series of hers. Wild Bastard is the third book in the series, but could if you really want to miss out on some fantastic novels read this as a stand alone. They do have recurring characters but India Kells always keeps it easy to follow.
Wild Bastard is Kai and Izzy’s story. I adored these two and really enjoyed reading their journey. The two met and fell madly in love with each other years before but Izzy one day disappeared without so much as a goodbye. Here we are now and we find Izzy and Kai crossing each other’s path again. Will they be able to capture that same love they had before and hang on to it this time? I can’t wait to find out what will come next for the Dark Sparrow series!

I found this novella to be almost too short. It made me feel like I was missing a lot of back story, or like I was missing something in general. I felt like if it was just a bit less rushed and had some more background info on Francesca and Jet, I would have been able to focus on the book more than I could. This is the only reason I marked this as a four-star read. Otherwise, the story had a great concept, and action-packed drama. This is the first book I have read by J.E. Vassar and will definitely be looking into more of her work, the longer ones anyway.

Well wasn’t this a fantabulous boxed set from the ever fabulous Ms. Deborah Ann!?! I absolutely just could get enough of these books. The angst, the slow build of that perfect explosive and poetic chemistry and pure steam that is Maddison and Jaxon, down straight to the emotive emotional second chances and lessons that come with past transgressions… This book, well both rather, wer absolutely the perfect combination that I was craving at the time. (Whether I knew it or not at first! 🙂 ) From the very first chapter to the riveting end of conclusion of book two I was hooked and often struggled with adulting hahaha. I won’t sit here and paraphrase the already perfect and gripping summary and blurbs that accompany this book. The juicy details are so much better to be found out going in blind and being completely wan with the story. I just can’t find enough glowing things to say about these novels, but in the meantime I will be daydreaming Maddison and Jaxon until the next project from Ms. Deborah Ann gives forth. This was a departure for me from my normal in several ways. I feel like I should preface my review with the fact that this book is more a standalone addition to the Lucky Devil Series. There are few moments where we see hints of the previous books but it is all done in a way you could completely read this book on its own without confusion. With that said, I did enjoy the book.
Megan Mackie takes an age old story and gives it a completely new spin with Margaret and her beau. I enjoyed the newness and really that was what made the novel for me. I will be back to see what happens in the next novel, fingers crossed that it continues our other two novels because I am dying to dive back into their worlds.

Well hot darn this little collection of stories sure is one steamy and seductive set! I haven’t had the pleasure of reading anything from LM Mountford prior to this but I must say I am looking forward to finding some more of her novels asap and devouring them as well. I would call this bedside table reading. Only for myself at least, because I really struggle to maintain the my emotions while reading so this one is one to devour in my own private world. It is erotic literature and I would say my only sadness was that the stories were so short. Some had some wonderful potential to be a full length novel but may have come off a bit rushed because they were shortened novellas. There are six different stories that range a wide area as well; everything from paranormal romance to the forbidden love, and more taboo topics. There is certainly something for everyone.
Just Once: This is the crazy love adventure between Terry and Faye, childhood friends that have denied their feelings for one another for a long time. Will they ever be able to be more than just friends?
Valentine Misadventure: This one is for the Mafia fans… We meet Sophie, a mafia princess who finds herself in situations she never saw coming one Valentine’s day. I rather enjoyed this one and this was one I wish could have been just a bit longer.
Play Time: James, a college student, finds himself in a sexy situation with the new girl, Timandra. There was a lot of different elements to this one between the school itself and the interactions between James and Timandra. I wish this one could have been expanded as well.
Stepdaddy’s Bad Girl: This one falls under the taboo yes so skip it or don’t read it if it’s not your cup of tea. Personally, it isn’t something I am into but I surely loved reading it. This had the right amount of everything that managed to pull off the topic without being tacky or just plain gross, not an easy job to do sometimes. Ultimately we meet Eric with one roudy stepdaughter. He has some ideas of how to put her in line but he knows this task will not come easy, then again that is half the fun right?
Sweet Temptations: This novel brings us Richard and his family. Richard has it all, the wife and kid etc. But there are some temptations that he is struggling to resist, like the young babysitter for instance. How will he handle it all and manage to keep everything he holds dear close?
Sweet Temptations: The Boss’s Daughter: This is a continuation/new storyline with Richard again. Only, in this story his major temptation is definitely not the babysitter. Rather, the boss’s daughter. What trouble will Richard find himself in?

Problematic Love is the eighth novel in the Rogue Series from Lara Ward Cosio, and I would have to say these just keep getting better and better with each book. They could be read as standalones if you really wanted to but I would highly recommend that you go back and start at the beginning with Tangled. The stories do have recurring characters and it is kind of like visiting friends each time you pick up a new one in the series. I just know that you will fall in love with the entire group.
In Problematic Love, Danny Boy’s story continues on a bit in the sense that we now find Amelia and him searching to find their footing in this new relationship that they have managed to forge. When roadblocks come up will the couple’s love be strong enough to withstand it? There is also updates in this book about past fav characters that I adored… maybe even some more angles for new novels to come? I sure can hope! I can’t wait to see whatever it is that Lara Ward Cosio gives us next!

Wanna ‘run to the sea’ and get away? Well I do believe the that KG Fletcher has managed to encapsulate the perfect little weekend getaway between the covers of Run to the Sea. I absolutely could sit her and tell you for hours my favorite moments in this novel, there were many and truly it’d turn into a verbatim quote by quote review so you would only miss out on the good stuff for yourself that way. Instead I will tell you this is one of those books that just about anyone can relate to. We have all been at that point in our life that our MC’s were in, questioning every decision we ever made and if we are truly where we should be at this point in life. The moments worth making into a novel are the ones in which we make pivotal decisions in what we definitely need going forward. Cappy and Emmy both find themselves in this moment and we get a front row seat to all of the beautiful emotion, drama, laughter, love, and memories that accompany this.
I couldn’t put this book down from page one to the very end and found myself devouring it in just one short rainy afternoon. The scenery and the way that Fletcher writes it is transformative in the sense that I felt as if I was right there breathing in the salty sea air and the dragging my toes in the warm sand. I would say every moment was worth every bit of a five star rating and I can’t wait to find out what will come next from the pen of KG Fletcher!

Yowzers! This was one heck of a good book! I absolutely needed this too! Such a refreshing breath of newness to the slow burn love story. Okay so this is a tad of a ghost story too but really I was taken with the beautiful detailed and captivating love that develops between Emily and Sean. From the moment Emily kisses that stranger at the Masked Charity Ball (Sean) everything changes. She doesn’t believe in that ghost stuff and there is no such thing as supernatural in her world, but she finds herself on a ghost tour anyway, and face to face with Sean again. Then there is the mysterious box that shows up on her doorstep with evil powers. Sean could be the only one to convince her that ghosts and the supernatural are real and that they could be in some very serious danger.
It isn’t your typical read and I was totally sucked in from the very first moment until the bittersweet last page. My only solace is that there will be more books to come in the Crescent City Ghost Tours series from the fabulous Carrie Pulkinen. I can only hope it won’t be too long of a wait. I know I will be checking out all of her previously released writing in the meantime as well. Thanks for the wonderful read Ms. Pulkinen!
If you haven’t had a chance to devour the first three books in the Druid’s Brooch series I would HIGHLY recommend that you do that before you pick up Misfortune of Vision, her latest installment. In Misfortune of Vision we go back to 12th century Ireland and get plenty of new adventures full of Norman warriors, Fae Lord, and Orlagh. I loved the Seer she was so much fun to read and brought a magic to the story that truly lit up my kindle screen. Nicholas did a wonderful job once again building the scenery and taking you to the places in the book, I felt as if I was actually there. I could smell the air and feel the wind on my face at times, I felt that transported. I can’t wait to see where the next book will take us. Thanks for the fabulous read Ms. Nicholas!

I must say I am struggling a tad with exactly where or how I want to place this book on a star scale. I have never had the pleasure of reading anything R.L. Dunn prior to Secure Desire so I was completely new all of her writing style. Dunn has one hell of a knack for detailed writing. While I loved that most of the time I felt like I was right there with the characters and in the moment I could have done without some of it sometimes. It felt a tad heavy. Only because I wanted to get to the the point and found myself several times confused in the novel. There is immaculate research done clearly evident as well, but again, I don’t want to feel as if I am in the History Channel.
Bottom line, I adored the story for what it was, and found myself falling in love with Ian and Cassie quickly. I was invested in them from the get-go and was on the edge of my seat wondering how everything was going to turn out for them in the end. Which I must say was quite unpredictable as well! Another fantastic plus. I look forward to checking out more of the Chase Group Stories and whatever else is available or will be to come from R.L. Dunn.

Gahhh!!! This book blew me away! I just absolutely love anything that comes from Gwyn McNamee, especially her Hawke Family series so I knew this would be an extra good treat for me. Now I may be partial so keep that in mind, but I would highly recommend that you read the other novels in the series before you get your paws wrapped into this one good and deep. You will truly have the best experience and and appreciation for all the characters and going ons. Now that I have said my piece, this is a little standalone novella that read quickly for me in just a quick afternoon for being so jam packed full of story. I was so darn happy that we finally get Saint and Caroline’s story though so I was consumed from the get-go. I’m not going to give away any of the guts and grits of this great read. For those you will have to trust me that this is a five-star must have and one-click today! I can’t wait to see what we will get next from Gwyn McNamee. I am sure whatever it is will be just as amazing!

My goodness gracious, I just could not for the life of me get enough of Until Fools Find Gold: A Providence Gold Series and Until Series Crossover. I’ll be completely frank here when I tell you that I solely chose this book based off the cover. It snagged my eyes and drew me in and I just had to read it. No questions asked. I have never heard of Mary B. Moore, never read her works or the previous novels this springs forth from, but it was all good. Every page consumed me. Ms. Moore has one hell of a talent for writing some emotive characters, and I found myself wrapped up in my feelings from the very start of the novel till the very end. I am so darn excited that there is going to to be more books with the same people/family and that there is a whole series that I have not had a chance to read yet. I will be devouring those as soon as I possibly can. This one however was all about Luna and Noah and my word they were just divine. Luna has been to hell and back and she will break your heart before she puts it back together. Noah is well, besides delicious and sweet, just the perfect man for her. He has waited a very long time for the time to be right to finally have a shot with Luna. These two and their journey is one story you will not soon forget. I know I won’t and it will grace my bookshelves at home ASAP too. Thank you so much for the fabulous read Ms. Moore.

Ugh… I mean that in the loudest and meanest whiny, redheaded reader as possible lol… I didn’t want this book to end! I personally would read the first book in the series, Hell on Heels, before you dive into this one. Both are so fantastic so you won’t be disappointed that you did! PJ Santini is just one heck of a MC. She is what makes these books so darn phenomenal. I honestly want to be her, or at least know her. The way that Russell has written her Santini feels so very realistic. I swear I can picture her in my mind on the news one moment and and being the sassy detective the next. I can only hope that the next one will not be too far away…

I was in the market for something light and easy to read after a string of dark and deep novels and Operation Boyfriend couldn’t have been more perfect for just that. It was a sweet little new adult romance that was fun to escape into for the afternoon. I got quite wrapped up in Glynnis life and found myself finishing up the book in just under a few hours.
Glynnis had quite the messy breakup with her last guy… He left her for another man! So she finally heals herself enough to get back in the dating saddle and we find ourselves along for the fun ride. Not only does Glynnis find one guy who can make her heart skip a beat, but two! What will she do? How can she ever make a decision that could possibly turn out good?
I also found myself a new author with this book. Molly Zenk is completely new to me, but I quickly fell for the unique ways she managed to twist the story each time it would feel as if things could be predictable. I also really enjoyed the way she switched things up with the social media inserts etc. I look forward to seeing what else Ms. Zenk has in store for her readers!
Holy Mary Mother of God, this was one hot and steamy read! Where have you been Anise Storm?? I apparently have been missing out for quite awhile one some fantastic writing by the hands of Anise Storm and after devouring Hawke, my only solace is that I can recover my book hangover in the pages of the books that she has previously published that I have missed while waiting for the next book to come in the Men of Syn series. If you are new like myself to Anise Storm I believe you have picked the perfect introduction to her writing. This novel has it all. I was pulled in from the very first chapter and captivated till the very last page, often finding myself slowing my pace on purpose to draw in out as long as I could.
Everything is really set up for us in Hawke, where we in fact meet Nathaniel Hawkins, more commonly referred to as Hawke. He is one difficult man to say the least, not saying he doesn’t have his reasons or demons for being that way. I felt for him and everything has its place but this man will make you want to smack him and love him all at the same time. He is balanced rather nicely with the strong and smart Charlotte. These two have a second meeting like no other that will lead to some amazing reading! Throw in a crazy serial killer and hot BDSM scenes and you have the recipe for a wonderful novel. I absolutely couldn’t put this down! I can’t wait to find out what will come next from the Men of Syn! Thanks so much for the fantastic read Ms. Storm!

Well this was another new author and one of those I went in blind reads. Things We Lost is the first book of the Loving Locksley Series from Shae Banks. I was immediately drawn in by the gorgeous and bold cover. It just screamed “read me!” I must say I was over all pleased with the book and I did enjoy it. I will be back for the next novel in the series and see how things progress. However, this book was just maybe a tad shy of that five star, knock my socks off reads. I kept waiting for that spin or twist that would elevate the story to that level and things stayed relatively fluid and steady from beginning to end. It was a short quick read though so Banks kept it brief and didn’t drag out the usual story line longer than necessary.
Nathalie Johnson never figured she would see Jason Locksley again. He crushed her when he disappeared from her life thirteen years prior to this chance run in she finds herself in. Rather easily she gives into his requests for a second chance, but of course there will be obstacles and old wounds that will need to be healed before they can truly have a chance at true love. Will they ever get their happily ever after? Definitely a solid four-star rainy afternoon read! I look forward to seeing what will come next in the series!

Holy wow ya’ll this book took me by ‘storm’! I adore Tamara Ferguson and the sweet romances that she writes so it was a no-brainer for me when it came across my feed and I one-clicked this book on the spot. I do think this was a tad bit of a step outside the box for Tamara a titch and I LOVED it. Rand’s Resolution is one part of an eight part series from a collection of authors that have come together to give one massive collection of steamy books. As soon as I found out that this was part of a series I ran and one-clicked all the rest of them. No worries if you haven’t though, this can be read as a standalone and all about Rand and Ciara. Theirs is one you won’t want to miss!

Hate to Love You was one of those books that I completely judged by its cover, and one-clicked once I took it all in. I have never had the chance to read anything from Lily Ryan prior to this and so I was definitely going in completely blind with high hopes. Let me tell you, Ms. Ryan did not disappoint! Yeah, yeah it is a second chance mixed with the forbidden love romance that you see a lot of in the romance genre, but it is so well written that you are engaged from beginning to end without a dull moment to be found.
I just adored reading Cole and Samantha. Their little love story and the difficult road it takes to get from that first life altering kiss brought be back to my younger years when love was young and naive. Sam is a tad annoying with the naivete character but it really ends up evolving and fitting the story quite well. I loved Cole, he swept me off my feet! I am super excited that this is book one in the Baker’s Bunch Series so there will be more to come in this story line. While I wait I have some previously released books to devour by Lily Ryan!

The Reason Why is my first experience reading anything by Izzibella Beau and I have to say I am a bit disappointed that I have taken this long to get find her. I can’t wait to go back and read some of her other work. I had half expected this to be the typical love triangle book with the blurb but the teasers truly drew me in and I had to read it. I am glad I did, it had quite a few twists and turns that made it stand out among the crowd. I can’t wait to see what else she has in store and what is to come.
I am so stinking happy this book was everything I had wanted it to be and then some! I have not had the pleasure of reading anything written by Belinda Williams prior to Wild Heart, but I can for sure attest to the fact she will be on my radar from now on. I can’t wait to go back and see what I have been missing and find out if they are anything like Wild Heart.
Wild Heart is the fourth book in Ms. Williams Hollywood Hearts series, I know that it can be read as a standalone since I obviously did so however, I would have started with book one if I had the chance to do things over. In truth I will probably start with book one and read through and reread this one as well.
Faith and Cole were just too dang fun to read. I couldn’t ever have too much of these two. The realness with which Belinda Williams spins into her characters is astounding and truly makes reading her story an adventure. I’m not going to dive into all the details for those you will have to read this gem for yourself. You won’t be disappointed you did!
