Truck Stopped (Satan’s Devils MC) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Lorralei Hoerner

5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Wow…what a fantastic story. Truck Stopped is Book 11 in the Satans Devils MC series and even through you could listen to this book as a stand-alone I highly recommend listening to all the books as this is a fantastic series.
Truck is a veteran and a firefighter who is also a member of the Satans Devils MC. While trying to tend to a fire call, Truck is injured and burned badly. Feeling down, damaged and angry, Truck just wants to be alone and just feels like a broken monster with all his scars.
Allie is a “sweet butt” for the Satans Devils MC but knows she wants more. Her mom throwing her out at a young age, Allie is a fighter to survive…Allie never forgets Truck as they shared something special before he leaves. When Drummer, the president, wants Truck back at the club he sends Allie to convince Truck to return……but does he?
Allie and Truck continue their bond even though there is lots of hesitation. Will Allie and Truck each overcome dark pasts that lead them to light?
I loved every minute of this story including hearing the future of the club with Drummer and Peg of what is to come and what has happened. I’m very sad this is the end of an era but love to see more from Manda that would include the clubs children as they grow up as a possibility.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Forgiveness, love, redemption, secrets, family and trust…..this is the story that I loved of Becky Bennett and Glen Kirby. Reckless Love gave me all the feels of a slow burn romance, learning “patient love” and I love feeling like I am part of this family with each book of the series. While this book could be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading this series from the begging to get to know the Bennett family as everyone should.

Knowing your past may haunt you, Glen Kirby is trying to make amends piecing his life back together day by day trying to get his farm back. Becky takes care of all the Bennett brothers and her father while they are all working at their family farm. Knowing how successful her cooking show is, Becky longs for simplicity in life…never knowing that around the corner Glen Kirby is there. Becky needs to start with forgiveness toward Glen and his past….but when slowly her walls come down an unexpected spark forms between them. The Bennett brothers are totally against this romance, but that does not stop Becky and Glen. Will the brothers come between Becky and Glen even though they forgave Glen for his past or will Becky and Glen defy all odds and get the HEA that they want and deserve?

I LOVED this book so much and I am already looking forward to Book 5!!! This series is fantastic.

Wow, this story is fantastic. Celestina and Dingo aka Frank and the chemistry they have and the story they bring…wow. Fractured Hearts is book 7 of the Grimm Wolves MC and this book and series is fantastic. The author really grabs you from beginning to end and I loved that no only we get to be part of the Grimm Wolves expanding family but also having Devils Handmaidens included is just a great bonus.

Dingo aka Frank is prospect for the Grimm Wolves and wants to be part of this family. Dingo hides behind pain and puts up a facade of being fun, but also puts himself down. When he goes to meet a woman online, Celestina, their attraction is second to none. Dingo wants to protect Celestina at all costs but has to know the truth…what is Celestina running from and why….

Celestina is on the run, trying to protect herself from her crazy and cruel family. Meeting Dingo aka Frank may be her ticket to freedom, but her attraction toward him comes with a guarded heart. As Celestina gives pieces of her past that the Grimm Wolves are aware of, no only do they do their thing of protecting her but their entire Grimm Wolves family as well. Will Dingo and Celestina come together even with dark pasts?

This story is dark and gritty but also about revenge, evil, family and forgiveness..I cannot wait to see what is next by D.M. Earl!!!

I was waiting in sheer anticipation for this continuation of Aspen and Phoenix’s story as this book picks up where Cruel Hate ends….and my gosh. Starting right from the first page 1 my heart was beating so fast, not knowing where the story will take me and I could not put it down. I love Aspen and Phoenix so much…giving me all the feels that I love about this series….passion, secrets, drama, lies, angst and sizzle.

The odds are totally against Phoenix and Aspen, from an unplanned pregnancy, juggling college work, family drama and Phoenix being determined to make his shot at the NFL. When an unfortunate event leads down a path of struggle and determination and opening up family wounds and secrets, will Aspen and Phoenix make their own choices in life and in process of becoming parents and not be influenced by money and greed………

I do not want to give any spoilers away as I could talk about this book forever…but I highly recommend reading this series right from the beginning to get to know all the characters and the progression of the story-line right from the start. I cannot wait until the next installment to know what happens to Shane and his story…

Intriguing, suspenseful and interesting sci fi trilogy that was quite enjoyable. This is a perfect box set and the books are meant to be read as a series and definitely not a stand alone.

This series of events from the books has Dr. Kite offering an implant to help and where we meet
Gigi, Lilly and Ellen. This implants alters/changes they way they see them-self. Ellen is trying desperately to lose weight and feel good about herself, Gigi is looking for love and Lilly trying to get through her feelings from a divorce. With Dr. Kite’s game changing offer….will this help Ellen, Lilly and Gigi….until he finds out there is some defects in the microchips…

As the story continues in book 2, the ladies try and move on with their life, making sense of it all. You get more from Lilly, Gigi and Ellen as they navigate their next steps…..what is Dr. Kite up to next…..and the epic conclusion in book 3 find out what happens to the end……definitely a roller coaster ride of twists and turns ………

Great start to a new series!! Mr. Wimp is a short novella that was very enjoyable, relatable and the author did a fantastic job with details that did not seem rushed… I am already looking forward to the next novellas that will be out monthly. Loving Bella’s character as she has courage to speak her mind especially when she realizes she is losing herself in the process of a marriage that is not quite what it seems. I cannot wait to see what happens next!!

Bella’s world comes to a screeching halt when out of the blue her husband of twelve years decides to end their marriage. Bella learns hard truth’s to this end with lies and deceit. With wonderful friends that help Bella along the way and support from her parents, Bella finally lets all of her anger and hurt out and finds herself again step by step…..

Looking forward to next novella with what is in store for Bella and her moving on with her life….Wonderful novella!!

This was a wonderful and sweet contemporary romance that I loved from beginning to end. This is a new author to me and I am looking forward to more from this author. Romance, drama, angst, love, fear with spark and sizzle giving me all the feels that I love reading a romance book. Two beautiful souls that were a bit broken with their past that come together in different circumstances.

Morgan is a single dad and a CEO of his own protective service company. Trying to do right for his daughter, Ciara, he does everything to protect Ciara at all costs….even from Ciara’s mother and Morgan’s ex….she spells nothing but trouble. Morgan needs someone to help take care of Ciara while he balances home and job on his own…

Blake is down on her luck, recently losing her job at local university and trying to navigate what is next on the horizon. When Blake’s brother offers Morgan to meet Blake to see if she can help with being Ciara’s nanny…Blake takes up the opportunity as temporary employment until she receives another offer at another university teaching.

When sparks start to fly between Blake and Morgan and passion takes over….there is also hesitation. The past haunting both Blake and Morgan. When Morgan’s ex threatens to take Ciara from him and Blake has a once in a lifetime opportunity come her way….what happens when communication is blurred until courage takes over and Morgan and Blake clear the air of what they really want…
