Crafting Love (Wine & Furniture Series Book 1) by A.E. Gamrat

This seems it will be such a great new series. This first book packs a ton of information but done very well as I didn’t feel overwhelmed with it all.
Kelly is fine doing what she’s doing day in and day out, except when it hits her how lonely she feels. Her best friend just doesn’t understand her passion and tries to get her out of the house, and one night she does just that and in comes Kirk.
Kirk, oh how I wish we had more from his side than the little we got.
This was such a great story and what a great group this shows and hope we see more very soon!

While this is book 4 in the series, it can be read as a standalone.
We follow Manny and see the whole book through his POV. Flashing back and forth was very needed in this book and done very well. The story she wove with this kept me flipping pages thinking I had it all figured out, but I didn’t!
Im sad to see this series end but can’t wait for the Spinoff series! Bring on more of this great and talented author.

I absolutely LOVED this book. The characters were so relatable and I felt each thing they did as they were going through it all. That makes for a great story.
This book drives home the “small world” saying, and also the “when you know, you know”.
This is a must read and I cannot wait to see we get more from the other characters in this book as they left me hanging near the end.

Oh Danny Boy, or now Daniel. Hes been through so much and finally when things are going his way, hes waiting for the other shoe to drop to ruin it all. Hes lost and doesn’t know how to function with being sober.
Amelia, oh I loved her. She throws everything into trying with Daniel but will it be enough when they’re wanting different things.

This cannot be read as a standalone.

I love step sibling stories, and I really loved how differently this one was done.
Maddison and Jaxon’s parents married secretly and sprung the kids together over dinner.
Maddison, though she fights it so, so hard, just cant deny the pull to Jaxon.
This series had it all, steamy scenes, drama, heartbreak and more.
If you like step sibling stories this set is for you.

*This is part of a series and to fully understand everyone and the events happening, must start with book 1*

We finally get Saints story, i was so excited. He’s intrigued me from the beginning of this series, and I’ve waited patiently to see if he got a book. And this did NOT disappoint.
Saint is a bouncer and part of the security team for the Hawke family and they’re places of business. I knew he had a past that would explain how he got to where he is now, but it wasn’t exactly what I expected!
Caroline turns into a blabbering idiot when Saint is around so she doesn’t think he’s ever even noticed her.
Can one night change the course of her plan?

This series just gets better and better and that ending?! Did not see that coming at all.

Squall Line (The Inland Seas Series Book One) by Gwyn McNamee

I have read every book by this author, so far, and here’s a new series like nothing i’ve read before. When I think of pirates, its dirty old men who don’t know what a bath is, or of course the famous movie series. But these pirates are very different.
Warwick has a job to do to repay debts, never having to deal with more than he or his crew can handle, he doesn’t expect a fiery redhead to stand in his way.
She makes him break the rules, and surprises him at every turn.
I was not expecting how this story went or how it ended. I need the rest of this series like yesterday, i want to know more of this crew.
Great read, kept me hooked from beginning to end.

Does this author never take a break? I loved this book. I say this with each one but she’s got such talent! I already was looking forward to reading about Demon, especially after the bomb that got dropped in book 1 of this series.
This book has it all, and we get to see our old favorites from the original series, but they aren’t needed to read this book, but I highly recommend them as they are absolutely amazing reads.
Demon is the club president and can have any woman he wants, whenever he wants and sees no reason to settle down, we all know the type and what happens to that way of thinking lol. But it was done well as the characters left the past thinking for future thinking.
And Violet, she was so strong and just what this story and clubhouse needed at this time and place they’re in.
I cannot wait for more from this series, but I just want to know who it will be about! My mind is racing and ill be patiently waiting for the next read.

Kai! Ive been waiting for his book and we finally got it. This was much deeper for me as they had a lot of past issues to go through and come to terms with, alongside the big danger of the story.
I didn’t see Izzy’s past coming at all, but what a surprise it was.
These two, fought so hard and worked through it, it made it feel more realistic in my eyes instead of brushing it all under the rug and moving forward.
I can’t wait for more as so much happened and we were left with lots of ways we could go!

How in the world i’ve never heard of this author before but man oh man am I glad it showed up as a recommended read!
I love, love, love best friend brother romances and this had a twist to it ive not read before. It had very serious sibject matter but it was broken up with humor as well. It made you appreciate the story as a whole a little more in my opinion.
I don’t want to give anything away but these two were great, knew what they wanted and didn’t let anything stand in their way.
Cannot wait for more from this series, if the epilogue is anything to go by od what we’re in store for, it’s going to be a hilarious yet bumpy ride.

As a first read by this author, I was blown away that i’ve never read anything by her before. I was captured from the start. The story flowed and didn’t feel forced, even when I was screaming questions in my head!
These two were great. They both had demons to fight, and helped each other get comfortable enough to share.
And of course the star of the book, Willow. Ive always wanted a Corgi and this just cemented that want even more. What a tenacious dog. She had a calling and just did what her instincts were telling her to do.

I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This is not the first book I’ve read by this author, so I knew going in I would love the story, but did not expect what I got. What emotion and depth I got from this story. I love best friend to lovers but this was just a little different than I’ve read before.
This seems to be a great start to a new series and I can’t wait to see where we go with the rest.

What a great book. I was hooked from the beginning, and not knowing what the book was about as i went in blind (have you seen the cover!), I could only assume what some of the story would be about.
Sean is a medium and runs a ghost tour company. When he meets Emily at a masquerade, he’s never felt that pull before but she isn’t looking for more than fulfilling her dare to kiss a man that evening.
As the story goes on, things start to progress but big hurdles must be overcome to continue. I didn’t see some of the things happening in this coming so it was refreshing to not be predictable.
I recommend this read and will be waiting for more in this series.

Let me start by saying, this was such a great book. I love second chance romances, and this one was very interesting. I connected with Nat, I felt for all she had been through. And Jason, I really really liked him. I did, i so did. He explained the past asked for forgiveness and tried to earn her trust back. If the book ended at this point, it still would have been a great read.
But, we get sucker punched, for lack of a better phrase. I didn’t see it coming, I had no idea, no little voice saying “wait for it”, nothing. And then after that, a small scene and then over. Do we get more? Heaven help me I need to know more here and I will be waiting with bated breath and festering feelings as I’m so confused why I feel ok about this books actions! I haven’t felt this way in quite some time. Im on both sides of the fence here and i need to know where to go!
I will be reading more from this author and hopefully we get more dual pov as the small snippet from Jason left me wanting more on his side. Ugh going to dive into some ice cream to drown my traitorous feelings over here lol

While this may be a quick read, it sure packs it all on there! Another fantastic read by this author, she has me flipping pages faster and faster every time.

Rand was raised by his grandparents and was never good enough in his dads eyes, no matter what he did. When he met Ciara he was just drawn to her, and bestowed some wisdom to her. When they meet in an unexpected place years later, that’s when things get interesting.
I loved this book, and everything written by this author, i can’t wait to read more in the future!

I really liked the premise of this book, but it felt just a tad rushed in timeline and the make-up after conflict. I understand they’re new adults, so maturity for somethings aren’t there yet but otherwise a great story.
I love a siblings best friend romance. While I didn’t agree with the way they did things I understood why it happened that way.
This book also has a nice message of never jump to conclusions on things as they aren’t always what they appear.

This is the second book in this series and while I did read book 1, you don’t need to to read this one as it’s about another couple and this is also happening at the same time as book 1.
Raff, at first I had a hard time figuring him out and what happened in the past. He was quickly easy to cheer for as I understand male pride, he reminds me of my husband!
Lauren, oh my heart broke for her in a few instances. She came out stronger and guarded but seems to jump to big conclusions without asking for answers.

These two had me as their cheerleader through the whole book and I really can’t wait to read more of this series!

Well this book was like nothing i’ve read before. It does say whether its past or present, and it does help set the timeline for all the events happening.

While not giving anything away, I will say I sympathized with both characters, one made the decision that was thought best for the situation, and the other while blindsided, eventually was able to continue on.
My only complaint, was the ending! How could you DO that and leave me hanging?! Can’t wait for the next one.

I’ve absolutely loved this series. And this book had me captured from the start.
Autry is the town bed hopper, but he’s changing his ways unbeknownst to anyone for such a sweet reason!
After a mix up in the parking lot, he takes notice of Beth, a school teacher but she doesn’t fall for his charm.

These two were great but frustrating and i’m so glad Beth stood her ground and didn’t just accept what he offered with the way he put it out there.
I laughed, I cried and I rooted for these two so hard.
I cannot wait for the next book!

First, while this is book 4, I was able to read as a standalone. This follows a different couple than previous books it would seem and they do gloss over a little of what those characters have been through.

I’ll be honest and say I didn’t like Faith to start with but then I saw the cracks in her armor, and felt she was more relatable to me as the story went on.
I loved the mystery and twists and turns this book took. I didn’t suspect the right person and that’s a good mystery writer to me!

Can I get a Cole? I liked him from the start and how honest he was and funny too.

You won’t be disappointed with this book at all.

Well, I read this book from start to finish with no breaks, sorry kids lol. I loved that instead of hopping back in time for a whole chapter, we got flashbacks at a time. It helped show the demons Hawk was fighting currently.
I was always intrigued by Hawk, and so glad we got his story! It was heartbreaking but he is who is because of his past.
Stella, oh my heart broke for her with her loyalty to her family and the hurt she was going through.
This story had me captivated and i had to know what was next.
Hopefully we get Keegan’s story next? He’s a mystery to me.

Garrett (Dark Water Security book 2) By Madison Quinn

I have to say that this book had me frustrated at a secondary character from the get go but it didn’t take away from the main characters too much. Just he had me mad i couldn’t figure him out.
Garrett and Hope met a couple years ago, had a great night and then life changed drastically for one of them.
When they meet again, it brings memories back that they don’t think they can make it through.
As they get to know one another more, and continue working, we get to see more of the Dark Water Security team again, but not too much.

I enjoyed this story, and the tough subject that was touched on was done well.

I have to say, I went into this book blind so I had no idea what I was in for. And I must say, while this is not my normal genre type to read, I really enjoyed this.
This is a biographical novel of real life events. I couldn’t imagine all these people went through during what should have been the happiest time of their life. And through the years of no stability was hard to read but also showed of a different time in America as things were done so differently than compared to now.
Very touching and eye opening to say the least.

This is a two story book. Both were fast paced and quick reads.

A Vegas Cowboy- David aka Daisy, was quickly liked by me and i really felt for him from his short background story.
Things take an interesting turn out on the town and he must confront new feelings.

Vegas,Baby,Vegas- A woman in a man dominated profession gets recognized alot and also stepped on for things but when someone catches her eye, and not in a good way, in her mind at least, Bailey must make quick decisions .
I really liked Bailey except for her one big mistake.

This was a great collection to read, and I love the sneak peaks at other works by these authors. I will be reading more for sure!

This series MUST be read in order, all books pick up where the last left off.

Pandora’s Price follows the POV of Darren and Luisa again, and the continuation of the deal Darren made. The emotions packed into this book, made me feel like I was dealing with pregnancy hormones with the ups and downs and shocking moments.
I cannot express how much of a must read this series is, it’s something to experience for sure. And I can’t wait for the next book and getting to know those characters now.

I didn’t feel we really got to know Eli, yes we got to see his feelings and actions but I felt I was missing just a little something. He was very in your face and up front on a lot of things.
Remington, or Remy, was a girl I felt a connection to right away. And I loved her teasing of Eli to get him to show his feelings to her.
Loved all the other characters to, and wish to see more.

What a beautiful sequel to Love on a Limb! I was so emotionally invested in Matt and Mikaela, and was so happy to see this book.
I couldn’t get enough of this book, and everyone involved in this story. Despite the subject matter, which hits close to home, it was such a great story. You feel every emotion, every situation, and that shows what a great gift this author has. After I finished this book, I had to take a break before writing this review as I just had to get my thoughts together to do this story justice, but that’s impossible.
Must read, highly recommend.

Another great read in this series! While this is book 5, it can be read as a standalone. We do see previous characters but each book is about a new couple.

Where do i start? I do have to say that as I was reading, I had my doubts on if I would like where this was heading but then I had to take a break (kids lol) and when i came back I had a new outlook. How would I feel if this were me or my husband? While it would be very hard I couldn’t tell you what we would do unless we lived it.
This was a great story and I really enjoyed the drama and the suspense. Can’t wait for more of this series!
