Kermode (Legends Series Book 2) by Maggie Adams is a wonderfully paranormal shifter that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down till the end. This is the second Book in the Legends series and can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the first book as well. Piper’s new in town and just taken over her grandparents bakery and she’s been having weird dreams. Noah is grizzly bear shifter and senses a magical shift that not only threatens his family but his leader as well. What happens when Noah meets Piper? What does their future look like? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Kermode: Legends Series Book 2 by Maggie Adams is a fun paranormal romance, with shifters, humour, magic, mystery, drama, and more. It can be read as a standalone, which is what I have done. But it has intrigued me enough to want to go back and read Catori (Book 1), as well as any future additions.
Piper Sweet owns Sweetie Pie’s Bakery and Café. She’s been plagued by unsettling dreams lately, and strange things are happening. She doesn’t realise it yet, but her world is about to turn upside down- and nothing will ever be the same.
Noah Stark just knows something is going on. He is on the hunt- and his investigation leads him to way more than he ever expected. He is such a funny guy- so sweet you just want to cuddle him. I was fully invested as he sets about unravelling the mystery.
The story introduces us not only to Noah and Piper, but also a cast of interesting and quirky supporting characters.
A quick and easy read!

Thank you, Ms. Adams!

Imagination on steroids! From start to finish this book had me glued to its pages to find out what would happen next. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and watching the plot unfold. The author does a fantastic job with world building and developing a storyline that can easily support a series. This is a book I will be reading again very soon – loved it!

Kermode: Legends Series Book 2 by Maggie Adams is a wonderfully written story. I loved the blend of fantasy, romance, paranormal, and Native American legends in just a few chapters. The story kept me interested and I was able to finish this story in just one afternoon. The relationship between Piper and Nash was whimsical, with notes of humor, reality, defiance and playfulness. The ideas of shifters, as well as Native American legends, was interesting to read about as this was something new to me. I will definitely be looking into more stories by this author.

Kermode is the second book in the Legends series by Maggie Adams. This is not my first book by Maggie Adams and it will not be my last. Adams has an interesting imagination and the gift to transfer it to her story. Her characters are complex and easy to relate to in my life. PiperSweet has taken over her grandparents bakery in Grafton Illinois. There is something going on with her and she is not quite sure she is understanding what is happening to her. Noah hunts rogue shifters. He is in Grafton looking for a shifter with the scent of power. When Noah walks into the bakery and sees PiperSweet he imprints on her and falls for her. Will PiperSweet figure out what is going on with her? Will Noah figure it out who has the scent of power? Sit down grab a drink and settle in for a great book.

Kermode was a very good story! I haven’t read the first one, but this one seemed like a stand alone novel. This was a great, short, shape-shifter story. I loved the Native American aspect to it. It was funny, it was sweet, it was kind of predictable but in a good way! There was definitely some steam in the novel! Kudos to Maggie Adams on this story, I can’t wait to read the second story!

Kermode: Legends Series book 2 by Maggie Adams is a 4 star read.
Noah Stark is 6ft 6, a computer genius and also a bear shifter, some people around him think he’s a little crazy and he does nothing to dispute that when he first meets Piper Sweet.
Piper Sweet runs a bakery and cafe that used to belong to her grandparents and one morning she finds bear paw prints outside her shop and starts to panic, but things are about to change for Piper and Noah has a lot to do with it.
This author is new to me and I really liked her style of writing, the characters were well written and I look forward to reading the stories of the other characters.

Kermode: Legends Series Book 2 by Maggie Adams is a rollicking little tale. Pure entertainment. If you are looking for a little light reading this is brain candy. A just reward for all those serious books. Imagine someone tells you that you are the big lottery winner, and you never bought a ticket. That’s the situation Piper Sweet finds herself in. Noah, just an innocent looking for some troublemakers walks into her shop and doesn’t even know what hit him. Reader be aware, there are some steamy situations that some may find uncomfortable. This is a nice little read that can be read as a standalone, but why miss the big picture.

A fantasy shifter romance with likeable main characters Piper and Noah, and a host of secondary characters that you get to know as well. Although this is book two in Adams, Legends series, it works well as a standalone read (although I enjoyed this book so much I have now read book one as well).
The story focuses around Piper, who has been having strange dreams, of fur, claws and magic and even finds herself waking up naked in a field one morning. Noah, who’s job is to get rid of the rouge shifters that have appeared in their small town of Grafton then enters Piper’s bakery and instantly falls in love, ‘imprinting’ on her. This is the start of a lovely romance and a great read. I liked how Piper and Noah’s relationship developed throughout the story. Noah soon realises the new power he has been feeling actually comes from his soulmate Piper, however she doesn’t know it herself.
This was a book full of romance, mystery, suspense and humour, it really had it all and it kept me turning the pages well into the night.

This is a quick read that covers shifters, witches, shaman and humans. We meet a group of friends who are all paranormal. Then me meet Piper who runs the local bakery and is not quite human. We get to watch her come to terms with not only the paranormal world but also being one herself. This is cute and inventive. I enjoyed the characters and their bond to each other. This is a first time author for me. I would be interested in more of her stories along this line.

Kermode (Legends Series Book 2) by Maggie Adams was a sweet quick read! If you need a good paranormal read I would gladly recommend Kermode. I did now know what to expect but the book had a little bit of everything. There was steam, romance, and the supernatural. I enjoyed Piper and Noah, they were good characters that I could envision without much effort. The plot and story flowed nicely too which can be tough in the supernatural world.

Kermode (Legends Series Book 2) by Maggie Adams was an exciting fantasy romance. This book is the second in its series but can be read as a standalone. It has an addictive storyline that quickly pulls readers in. Noah is a Grizzly bear shifter and senses a magical shift that threatens his odd ball family and leader Jonas. Piper is running her grandparent’s bakery and has been having strange dreams.

I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down. The characters were realistic and creative. There was a variety of magical beings in this book that all played into the storyline. It was a great read that I finished in one sitting.

Kermode Legends Series Book 2 by Maggie Adams is a paranormal shifter story that is engaging and funny and is a wonderful read. The characters were likable and unique and made me laugh out loud. Can they fight the evil threatening them?

Piper has a secret that not even she knows about. Weird dreams of bears and men keep her rest fitful. She is not sure what is going on but when strange things start happening, she is thrust into a world that only exists in books or does it?

Noah just cracked me up he is so sweet and cuddly. He is on a mission to find out what dark mystery is shrouding his hometown. As he follows the clues, he ends up at the Sweet Pie Bakery where he discovers something more precious than his own life but there is something there tainting something so good.

I absolutely loved this read! Everything about this I enjoyed! Being a Fantasy read it was an automatic thing to want to read this as it’s one of my favourite genres. But for it to be a shifter read it made it even better!

I was totally and utterly captivated with this read from start to finish! It had everything I love from a fantasy read, it had a bit of mystery, romance, passion, action and danger. I loved the characters they were real, relatable and really brought the story to life! I loved watching the quick connection grow between Piper & Noah but you could tell it would be an epic, intense and amazing one!

I can’t wait to find out more about our secondary characters and where else this series takes us. My only disappointment was how quick it seemed to end, I wanted more! I can’t wait to see what else this author brings and what else is to come for these characters.

The story Kermode (Legends Series Book 2) is a wonderful book to read. Both the storyline and the characters are amazing. I loved reading about Piper and Noah. I grew to care about what happened to them with each chapter that I read. Piper has been having weird dreams and when Noah meets Piper, he is stunned to find out she is the one that has been giving off power. What does that future hold for Piper and Noah? Read this book to find out. The story does have romantic scenes and there are moments that made me smile. There are also scenes that are suspenseful. There are additional characters that you are introduced to and that are friends with Piper and Noah. I would love to know about their backgrounds and stories. Don’t miss out on a book that you will not want to put down until you have read the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

Noah is on a mission to eradicate the rogue shifters that have set up camp in the small town of Grafton, Illinois. Minx by Maggie Adams is a five star novel. I love how the author uses an older character and makes her sexy and necessary again. This was a nice quick read as we got to know Miranda. As an older woman, she thought she needed to take a break from relationships and just find herself. Then she finds herself, literally, in the lap of a complete stranger. He is gorgeous and with a voice that makes her weak. When he offers her a job, she knows she needs to take it even though she doesn’t believe she is qualified. After she starts the job, she realizes she can do the job and she isn’t too bad at it. When she meets her beau’s brother, she can’t decide whom she likes more. Then things start happening at the business the brothers are in charge of and she might have to take sides.

Minx was a wonderful read by Maggie Adams and is also the first book that I have read by this author. The first thing that really made me want to read this book was the blurb, it was interesting enough to make me want to read about Miranda, the main characters but vague enough that I wasn’t quite sure what the story would be about so it was kind of like going in blind! I liked that I had no expectations about what was going to happen. I ended up loving Miranda! She was such a fantastic character to read about. She was so genuine and relatable – there were so many times when I just got what she was going through. I loved seeing her character evolve as the story progressed and I could definitely read more stories about her, I kind of felt there was so much more for her after the story finished.
I absolutely 100% recommend this story and I am looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future.

Off the bat this is a short story, and a hea. It’s about an older woman who already has grown kids and her marriage has fallen apart. She has a very odd set of friends. Honestly it reminded me about a group like sex in the city girls. So it went at a semi fast pace, at one moment she is asked about the divorce and the next it felt like she was already divorced and working. At first I thought the main guy was going to be Ritter, but then it became noticeable that it was going to be Reed. They start their affair and yes there is a hiccup and he basically dismisses her. This is where to me the drama happens and I liked it. The only thing that I didn’t like was that she didn’t make him grovel for forgiveness. Over all it’s a cute cheesy short story with a happily ever after.

Minx by Maggie Adams is a fun, quick read. The story is about Miranda, who has been not living her best life. Her husband leaves her and she has to rebuild her life. After having been focused on her husband and kids she has to learn to take care of herself. I like her humor and that she is not a perfect, model person. She has flaws and learns to run with them. Her friends are a great addition to the story but do not overpower Miranda’s character. This is my first book by this author but after Minx I will keep an eye out for her other books.

This was such a fast paced read. While many details for small things are there like decoration, clothing etc I felt I was missing the big details between Miranda and the main man. This was a good read about someone finding themselves again and jumping back into the dating game, but it was so fast paced I didn’t ever know how much time had passed from beginning to end.
I loved Miranda’s friends and how different they all were and how it didn’t matter, they were there for one another and I wouldn’t mind reading about them sometime!

Minx by Maggie Adams was so stinking fun to read! I have never had the pleasure of reading anything by Maggie Adams prior to this but now I must say I am dying to get my hands on some more of her work and anything else she may create for readers in the future. Minx is a fast read, one that you could devour on a dreary rainy day to brighten things up, or even perfect for a poolside read. As soon as I started reading about Miranda Blake I was hooked and found myself finished in one sitting. I would love to see more Miranda in the future because I feel like there is still so much story potential left in her character. *wink wink*

Miranda Blake is the exact type of person that I am so it was super easy for me to relate to her on multiple levels. She is such a good-doer for anyone and everyone that she often gets left in the dust with little to nothing left for herself. Now that is all about to change as she grabs life by the horns and starts to find her voice. I loved watching her grow to find that inner sassy voice that she always had but wasn’t sure how to use. Definitely a five star read that I will be finding time to re-read once again soon.

Minx is a romantic comedy by Maggie Adams. I am grateful that Ms. Adams created Miranda. She is not the picture of a fairytale but more of a hot mess. Her story is one of comedy throughout her life. It is refreshing knowing not every author writer describes the “barbie” figure for the character. I have to admit I spent a long time reading this story because i was laughing so hard I had to stop. Will Miranda find some love? Will Prince, her German Shepard, stay her Prince Charming? I hope you have as much enjoyment of this story as I did.

This is one of those stories that is right up my alley.

Good friends – check

Humor – check
Quick read that held my attention – check
A little mystery to hold my interest – check

This book is on the shorter side and because of it, moves at a very quick pace. There were a couple of characters who I constantly rolled my eyes at (I’m looking at you Matt & Ritter) and I wanted to write them right out of the story and some of the situations were odd, but I found the story an enjoyable one and would recommend it.

I will be checking out other books by this author in the future.

MINX by Maggie Adams is a delightful quick and easy read that is a short story but there is nothing short about what is packed into this little tale. It is fun and the hilarity of it had me laughing out loud, hubby kept looking at me like I was a loon. The characters are quirky and delightful but I would have loved the story to be longer to get a better feel of them and their lives as a whole. Even though it is fun there is the serious side of the story where after your marriage breaks down you go through the stages of grief and you have to find yourself and who you are now and that is where the fun begins.
Miranda’s husband of 20 years decides their marriage is over and kicks her out whilst bringing in the younger woman. She goes through an awakening to find herself and love herself again.
If you love a story with a little quirk, then this one you don’t want to look past.
