Another gripping 5 star read from this talented author! She never fails to have me on the edge of my seat with her Ash Park series and Witness (the ninth book) was no exception. The storyline for this book was complex and engaging, I definitely found myself wanting to keep those pages turning to find out what was going to happen. I have loved following Petrosky as he tries to solve crimes but this one had me glued from the very beginning and I think is certainly one of my favourites from the series. I am really looking forward to more from this author and I highly recommend this series – the books can be read on their own but I would recommend that they are read in order!

Witness by Meghan O’Flynn is the ninth book in the Ash Park series, I am always so excited to get back to this series as each one always delivers a fantastic story they completely captures my attention. Full credit has to be given to this author as not many people can successfully keep a series going for this number of books and yet Meghan seems to do it with ease. This book is yet another brilliant addition to such a strong series. I love getting back into the lives of the main characters and seeing what else is going to happen. This book is every bit as action packed and intriguing as the rest in the series. I was pulled out n right from the start and had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen. This is the kind of book that you have to read all in one go. This is one of those series that I just never get bored of and I am already excited as to what might come next.

If you love crime or psychological thrillers look no further this series is for you
If you have not read any of the Ash Park Series, I recommend reading the previous books to get the full enjoyment from this series. Meghan O’Flynn is one of my go to authors when I am looking for a great thriller to read. She pulls me into the story from the first page until the last word. The plot-line has a fast pace to it, but I caution you to be aware of everything going on so you do not miss something. I have to admit that I do go back and reread a page because I thought I had missed something. Her attention to detail is another reason I love reading her books. Now we can talk about characters. Detective Petrosky has stolen my heart. He is a wonderful book boyfriend. I always feel like I am with him and I do scream at him from time to time. He took this call because it was going to be a simple burglary. Nothing Petrosky ever does is simple. This case is shaping up to be quite a doozy. I highly recommend this book to see if Petrosky will make it through this case.

Hacker by Nadine Travers is the second book in the Mercenaries Series. This book is an absolutely fantastic follow up to the first book. It is full of suspense and intrigue with some brilliant characters. Marie and Hacker have such a strong connection. Even after just a single night together you can feel the chemistry between them. But with everything between then they are in for an interesting journey. The book was fast paced from start to finish. You are pulled right into the story and the author really just doesn’t let go. It is a well written book and really is a great addition to the series. I am excited to see what is to come next.
Witness is book nine in the Ash Park Series. I have not read the others in the series yet and had no problem following the story and the characters. This book is an action packed story by Meghan O’Flynn. It centers on Detective Edward Petrosky. Petrosky is a gruff angry detective struggling with alcoholism. His partner, Regina Jackson, takes no nonsense from him even while they are investigating an insidious group of people. This book does not go into great detail about the abuse several women suffered, however, it was still difficult to read about what they went through. Every corner turned was more shocking with twists and details revealed making this book hard to put down.

The Liminal Space by T.S. Simons is the second book in the Antipodes Series. I would recommend reading the first book before reading the second one. Some books are what I call fluff reads. This one is definitely not a fluff read. It is thought provoking, touching on several worldly problems within an apocalyptic world. The main character in this story is Cam, Campbell Mackintosh. He is easy to identify with and to understand his emotions and dilemmas. Ultimately this book is a story about love and overcoming, told within the life of Cam.

Jordan’s Shadow is my first book by this author, this story is one of a kind, for some it may be hard to read, for me it is enthralling, captivating, emotional. Needless to say I loved it! I love how different it is and how unexpected the ending was. The commitment and patience of Hunter and Monte throughout the book is what kept me going. The one thing I love about reading is the way stories can take you to another world. It isn’t very often that you find people in the real world like them. I highly recommend this book!
This was a very quick read and didn’t go at all how I expected it to. I really liked getting to know the characters, there is quite a bit packed into this book. There is something to be said about letting people see who you really are when there is the potential for things to go cross again, and this was a great interpretation about that and how people put on a show to protect themselves.

This is a book that will draw you in and hold you tight. You want to know what happed and you will stick around until the very end to find out. Braxton is a chef and a well known one at that ever since that food critic posted an incident on her social media. Over night he was a success. But he met HER. Phoenix, the woman who would cause his heartbreak. This story is full of twists and turns and your heart will break for Braxton. This book is what you get if fantasy and religion had a baby…. I was pleasantly surprised by this completely different storyline. I can honestly say that I have never read anything like it. The Author has a really innovative way of taking aspects from religion, fantasy, folklore and reality and weaving it into an AMAZING book. The character development is absolutely great. My only criticism is that it took a while for the book to grab me. But once it did I couldn’t stop

I loved this book!! I think it’s probably one of my favourites reads so far this year. I love the retellings of fairy tales with a twist and this definitely had a twist and a half! It was a fantastic read from beginning to end – the author has an amazing ability to drag you into her stories straight away, the emotion that was poured into some of the scenes in this book was evident and I could feel everything the characters were. I think I fell in love with Braxton straight away. I highly recommend this story and I can’t wait to read more form this author again in the future.
Hacker was a really great romantic suspense story and one that I really enjoyed. I really like this author; she has a wonderful attention to detail and a writing style that grabs your attention from the very beginning. I love Hacker and Marie, they had such a genuine connection and chemistry, I could tell how much Hacker wanted to protect her and help her with her mission to flea her mafia family. There were some unexpected twists and turns in the story which meant mu attention was kept form beginning to end as I tried to guess just exactly what was going to happen between these characters. Overall a really good read and one that I would highly recommend.
When you are stuck with the boss’s bratty daughter what are you going to do, strangle her or kiss her?
Tuck is biding his time waiting for his call up to the big Rodeo stage but he wakes up one morning knowing he will be late for work. After hauling his ass as quickly as possible he knows the only job that will be left is babysitting Jess the boss’s spoilt daughter which just grates on him.
When arriving at the Ranch all hell breaks loose when the decision has been announced and he is going to the PBR event and Mr Flanagan wants to throw him a party, who is he to say no. Jess is smitten with Tuck but as she has putting on the spoilt brat attitude around him will he see beyond this act and see her for her. She can only hope.
This is the first book I have read by this author and loved it. The sweet nature of Tuck and in real insecurities that came from Jess was lovely to see. The two characters were well written and the chemistry bubbled underneath the surface until it exploded at the end. Although this is a novella the story is not rushed or sloppy but I would like to read more of their adventures in Vegas. I also loved the interaction of the secondary characters and I am sure there is a story regarding Bubba in there somewhere. Thank you for letting us peak into this world and hope there is more.

Cam Johns is a chef, he also owns his own restaurants, but his life is torn apart when the woman he loves, Phoenix Brighton is ripped away from him by death and he can’t understand why, but he knows he doesn’t want to live without her and that his heart is broken. He thinks about his past experiences, especially with women and the one who got away, he remembers the last time he saw her and thinks about how much his life has changed and that her parting words have come true, just as she predicted, so when he goes to seek help, although he doesn’t want to speak or think about any of it.
Eventually, his therapist helps him to finally open up, but she starts slow and asks about the first time he met Phoenix. This just happened to also be the day when he made a mark in the foodie world with his restaurant which he had just opened. He talks about how a very influential foodie blogger had come to review his restaurant and his food, but when he takes the dish, his pride and joy to her in the restaurant, he cannot take his eyes off of the mystery woman eating alone and reading at another table and unwittingly walks straight into his guest and ends up spilling the entire dish all over her while she is livestreaming to her multitude of followers. Without a second thought, she ends the livestream while giving him a second chance to cook for her when the woman he couldn’t take his eyes off offers to help her out with her dilapidated and food covered state with some clothes she has in the boot of her car. As they disappear he goes to prepare for his second chance and ends up having a rave review, but the mystery woman never comes back, however, she does give her details over the phone when she arranges to pay her bill which she walked out on. After he has spoken about this with his therapist, she gives him some homework and then drops a truth bomb on him at the end of the session, she tells him something about phoenix which he knew nothing about and which shocks him to the core, he feels betrayed, lied to, more heartbroken and angry about this information and it takes time for him to process it.
A couple of days later, he goes back to his restaurant and realises what a selfish person he has been for the last year since Phoenix died when his staff finally break through his angry exterior and open up to him about their feelings and this paired with the homework he has been given, he finally sees a light at the end of the tunnel. This is the start of a long process of grief, recovery and a rollercoaster of emotions as he comes to term with the revelations of more secrets and information while completing his homework until he comes face to face with a blast from his past and doesn’t quite know what to do about it. Will he be able to come to terms with what he knows and what he is finding out and be able to recover from his biggest heartbreak, or will his emotions get the best of him before he can jump on a second chance he never thought he would get and which he is struggling to believe he deserves? This is an emotional rollercoaster filled with secrets, revelations, betrayal, heartbreak and love as you are whirled around in a torrent of emotions along with Cam as he undertakes his journey.
I enjoyed this young adult version of Peter Pan. This would be a great story that any young adult would enjoy reading. This is a story that will take you on an adventure with pirates, revenge, and even some romance. This is a well developed story that brings a world of fantasy with magic to life. The characters are creative which made the story fun and entertaining to read. Where will this adventure take Pan and the rest of the characters and what will happen with the choices they will have to make? I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this young adult book. This is a well developed story that any young adult would enjoy reading. The characters are relatable and made the story fun and entertaining. He has his life saved, makes an enemy and a shell he brings home, what do these have to do with his colors? I highly recommend reading this book to find out. He is a great young teen character that brought life to his story. It is a fast paced story that is unique and creative. Find out what happens to Liam and his colors.

This is my first book by this author and I look forward to seeing what is next for her. This is a sweet romance story that kept me turning pages to the end. It is fast paced and I read this book in one sitting. This author’s attention to details made the characters feel realistic. I had no problems relating to them. This is a story about Cecily. She wants to be an actress and also has a huge crush on Andrew who is a singer. When an opportunity comes up for her to be a part of his music video she jumps at it. As the story goes things with Cecily and her current boyfriend start falling apart. There is an attraction between them from the beginning, will Andrew pick up Cecily as she falls? I enjoyed the chemistry between these two. It made the story fun and easy to read. They are truly great characters that just made the story for me. I highly recommend this book.

Let me first start off by saying, I love music. Music of any all genres. I have since I was tiny. So, I thought I couldn’t go wrong with this book because it is about music and romance and that’s a winning combination in my opinion. Also, I am an avid young adult reader, so this made picking up the book even more of a win/win situation. And am I glad that I did because it is actually a very good read, although a little slower than I would have liked for it too. However, I was glad that I stuck it out and completed the book. I will say that it certainly tugged at my heart and had me rooting for the main character and biting my fingernails at the end. I wasn’t familiar with this author previously, but she has a way of showing the young adult anxiety and lack of confidence that so many of us have experienced at some point and time in our lives.

This is a gripping read, full of suspense and intrigue. It’s a mystery with some paranormal elements and there were some intense moments. The tension and drama had me guessing all the way through, and I hadn’t guessed all the plot reveals by the end of the book. The plot was developed more than the character Tessa but I still enjoyed all the action and tension. A great read!

Another trip into the drama and intrigue of Meghan O’Flynn and I was one again sucked in and pitted at the edge of my seat. This is not my go to genre but it was a nice escape down the drama filled road of Detective Petrosky. The characters just jump off of the pages and come to life as the book unfolds. I was not able to put this book down even though I knew it would go dark.
Petrosky is very much haunted by the demons of his past and the author has a good way of bringing this all up and into the present to make the story both dark and intriguing. I find that the twists and turns of this book keep you glued to the pages and I for one could not wait to see how it would all turn out. I like how the author keeps your attention and how the story goes just dark enough but doesn’t cross into too dark. I will definitly read more from this author.

The Mystery of The Lost Avenger by Linda Maria Frank is a cute little mystery story aimed for young adults or children aged eight to ten. I read this with my second grade nephew and he absolutely loved it. You could hear the excitement in his voice as were reading. This follows Annie and her mother as they investigate why a plane crashed in 1943. They find a letter from great grandmother Charlotte . Find out what happens when they start to put the pieces together from the letters. I think young a5old heck any age can enjoy this book. I look forward to reading more from this Author with my nephew. He truly enjoyed it and has asked me to read it again.

This isn’t your typical love story. Climbing The Walls is the first book in the Hart & Cole Series by Sacha T. Y. Fortune. You typically read stories where the main characters are single looking for love. This story is quite the opposite. Kris and Nicole are married with two great kids. Nicole often wonders how she can deserve Kris. Nicole works…a lot! She’s a journalist and writer who has a boss that is constantly on her. All she wants is to be a better wife and mother. But when her boss confides in her that he is having marital problems, that when things get a bit shaky. This book really shows the ups and downs of marriage and the things we need to do to keep it together. I really enjoyed this book and all of the characters in it. This was a really easy story to read and ended up to be very intriguing. This is the first time I have read this author and was thoroughly impressed. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series! This is for all you married people out there!

This story was a definite change in the zombie apocalypse scenario as we have come to know it. Not to mention that it also incorporates the search for love in addition to the constant danger faced by the regular people against the flesh-eating monstrosities. I adore that this story is in the second person. It is rare to find a story that involves the reader as the main character, using It ‘you’ instead of ‘I’ or ‘they.’ It’s incredibly refreshing, and since it’s short, you’ll have no issue with reading it all in one sitting!

I want to start by saying absolutely loved this book! I read in one day.
Riley She is a down to earth girl and the girl next door type. She works at a local coffee shop while she takes some courses at a nearby college. Meeting Xander wasn’t something planned but she couldn’t him out of her head. Xander Fresh home after an accident in the Navy SEALs. I give A Tennis Pro To Die For (Cozy Mysteries To Die For Book 3) by Judy Moore, 5 stars.
This is another thrilling cozy mystery in such a fun series. This can be read as a stand alone, but if you are following the series, you will enjoy this book even more. Yes, there is another whodunit for Beck to solve, but it is totally different than the last two. While Beck and her family and friends are back as well as her bookshop, the murder involves a country club and the employees and residents there. This bring a whole new spin on things. Plus, Beck being away for a while makes both Beck and Devon ponder on their futures. You will have to read the book to see just what I mean.
I love how the author brings back the characters we love, yet makes the main story different enough from the previous ones to keep us enthralled until the very end. If you are a fan of Agatha Christie and cozy mysteries, I highly recommend both this book and series.

“Climbing the Walls” is about a family that has grown into its dysfunction. Therefore, they don’t see it until it is too late. Most of us who read romance novels are used to reading about our characters meeting someone new, or realizing it was their best friend all along. This story is different because it takes place after all of the romance, exploration, and realizations. It shows how easily things can fall apart when, all along, it all looked perfect. The characters are exciting, the plot is riveting, and the story line always thickens. This is a story about a family whose whole lifestyle is on the line. I could see this book becoming a movie, and really good one at that!

Seconds (Internet Famous, #6) by Cam Johns was a great 5 star read. It took me just a bit to get pulled into the story but I really enjoyed it.
Braxton is a chef who is struggling with the loss of his love Phoenix. He is seeing a counselor and is sharing their love story. As he talks to the counselor he is learning things that he never caught before. How did he miss some of the important signs? We get to experience his memories with him and I have to say I loved the day they met…I had a LOL moment. I really liked how much the counselor helped him understand the things he was feeling.
Overall this was an emotional read with lots of unexpected twists and turns. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today on this great read.
If you’re looking for a romance read that will rattle you and characters that will change you then this is the book for you. It is told by two different point of views so it does interchange between characters. This novel, in my opinion, reflects real life events. The emotion that is shown in the writing is so raw that it makes your heart hurt for the main characters. In this novel, happy isn’t something that comes easy in the end. It tells that love is worth fighting for.
