This novel left me with goosebumps and a chill. Definitely not for the faint of heart. This novel is by far one of the best crime thrillers I have read. Meghan O”Flynn has just become one of my top 10 favorite crime authors. Witness is the ninth book in the Ash Park series. It can be read as a standalone. I thought this was a really intriguing book.

Beckoned: Born of Darkness is a wonderful read. From the first page I loved it. It just socks you right in and has you engrossed. This is definitely a recommended read. Sexy vampires with attitudes, a strong female hunter what’s not to love about this novel? The Born of Darkness series is a very steamy reverse harem paranormal romance that features one badass female hunter, her four fated vampire mates, and provocative MFMMM scenes. Not for anyone under the age of 18. R. B. Fields is an absolute genius when it comes to imagination.

I give Climbing the Walls (Hart and Cole Book 1) by Sacha T.Y. Fortuné 5 out of 5 stars. This is the best novel I have read in a long time! I love the characters and the way it switches back and forth between them, as it gives perspective to each side of the story. The storyline is very relatable and even pointed out a few lines to my husband! This story centers around a married couple, Nicole and Kris, and their two kids. It shows the highs and lows of married life and the struggle to keep a modern, working family afloat. The writing is clever and fresh and is a page-turner, for sure. I highly recommend this book and will definitely be checking out more by this author.
Can Dreams Come True? by Krysten Lindsay Hager

Can Dreams Come True by Krysten Lindsay Hager is a sweet coming of age story for young adults. Thinking back to when I was a teen, I could totally relate to Cecily who feels like she doesn’t quite fit in with her friends and classmate. Cecily’s experience of her first relationship with a boy and the issues that pop up are spot on. I liked the fact that Cicely was willing to go to an audition to help a friend and ended up getting a gig herself. I do think that Andrew and Cecily had a great connection from having similar interests and beliefs which helped.
Overall, the story was well written and I would definitely be recommending this book to my daughter.

I loved every page of this book. Finding love after so many years and getting another chance at the happiest life you could have had makes it an incredible read.

This book will definitely open up some feelings. A little crying will be needed, in order to finish this love story. Time to sit down to a great story. Well Done Cam Johns! Well Done!!

The pulp fiction, crime thriller books that O’Flynn keeps writing, is nothing short of impressive. This is book 9 in the Ash Park series and hot dang what a series. This series is most defiantly a series order read. Meaning you need to start a book 1 and work your way to this book to get the best out of this book. We are back with Detective Edward Petrosky. This man is his own type of messed up. He has seen some terrors and has lived to tell the tale. It’s like the bad luck just wants to hang around and follow him. So when he gets the simple B&E, he thinks this one will be easier, however, it is far from it. Mix in his adopted family, the crazy neighbors, and a faked death….does this mean…murder?
This book will keep you on your toes and you will keep flipping the pages for more. 5 out of 5 stars. Recommended for lovers of crime drama, thrillers, mystery, and suspense.

In this book, he asks if you could go back and do things over, would you? Would you make the same mistakes or will you make different mistakes? In this book, we are following Cam. He has new information about his family. This story does make you think about your life and those in your life. I highly recommend this book to see how Cam reacts to his news.

Price of a Rose: A Beauty & Beast Tale is the second book in the Historical Fantasy Fairytale Retellings series by Byrd Nash. I have read most of Ms. Nash’s other books now and I can honestly say that this is definitely my favourite of them all (so far).
As the title would suggest, this is a historical fantasy and an original retelling of the classic fairytale, Beauty & the Beast. The story is so wonderfully woven – with magic, enchantments, curses, beasts, fairies, mystery, danger, hidden agendas, a little humour, a wager, a game, and full of rich historical details.
Byrd Nash certainly knows how to tell an enchanting story- as she easily pulled me into her ‘world’ on the very first page- and had me captivated the whole way through. I loved her characters and was completely invested in them and the outcome of the story. I also loved all the little twists she added to make the story uniquely hers.
I was so taken with the world she created, that the story ended before I was ready to leave. Now I can’t wait to see what she does next. I need her next book like yesterday.

This was my first book by Sacha T.Y. Fortuné. This story revolves around a married couple, Nicole and Kris. The book has both sides told so you can be in each person’s shoes when something happens. It’s actually quite brilliant. Normally in a book, you are on one person’s “side” because that’s the only side you read. During this rollercoaster of emotions you get to understand the character more deeply, because you hear their side and see how they react through the other person’s perspective as well.

Can Dreams Come True by Krysten Lindsay Hagen is the first book in the Cecily Taylor series. This is a fun and easy story to read with enjoyable characters that you instantly connect with. This is a clean romance story that I found to be quiet a sweet read that is perfect for the young adult audience or anyone that likes their stories to be written in this manner.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I thought that it was well written. The story was good and kept my interesting and I thought the characters were engaging. This is a great way to put your feet up for a few hours and I will be sure that read more by this author in the future.

This is the first book I’ve read by Alexander but it won’t be my last. A Hole is a fantastic start to the Alpha Bet Guys Series. Alexander is a great author and I can’t wait for the next one.
Ace has left his life behind in New York and comes back to Philly. There he finds that a certain bank teller has caught his eye. When he’s mistaken for someone else things are blown up. The quote I chose for Ace is: “Wow, thanks for that. Comparing me to a damn isotope. I hope you know that’s going in one of my stand-up routines.”
Ella isn’t sure what Mr. Bennett wants with her. She knows he’s an a**hole, but what happens when she starts falling for him. She goes to her besties sister and finds that she had him mixed up with someone else. The quote I chose for Ella is: “Well, wouldn’t it be hilarious to get back at Ace for what he did to Cara by pulling the same nonsense? Making out with him and then forgetting who he is? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right?”
Highly recommended for Romantic Comedy lovers.

The Sun at Twilight (Empire at Twilight Book 4) by N.L. Holmes. I have absolutely loved this series which shocks me because this is not my favorite genre. I have loved every book a little more than the one before. This one was just as amazing as the others. This one takes place during the Hittite Empire and where Tudhaliya IV is the ruler and he wants to shake things up a bit. He doesn’t want to listen to the Royal Advisors and wants to take the Kingdom in an entirely different direction. He seems to be more forgiving and not as harsh as previous rulers but his enemies see that as a weakness. This sign of weakness causes his cousin who is more like a brother Kurunta to challenge the Throne. Will Tudahaliya lose his Kingdom along with his cousin/friend or will he be able to change the way things have always been?

Climbing The Walls ( Hart & Cole Book 1) by Sacha T.Y. Fortune. This book was very good. It was told by the husband and wife’s perspectives which I loved. Its the story of Kris a loving husband and father who wants nothing more than a happily ever after with Nicole. Nicole is a power hungry business woman and loves to love. Throw in her crazy boss Darren and his marriage that’s falling apart and you get a big fat mess. Nicole loves her kids and Kris and she wants nothing more than to be a great mom and even better wife but she’s so driven by her work she can’t seem to control herself. Darren uses that to his advantage. Nicole needs to decide if she can help Darren and keep her job all without getting a divorce of her own. This is a fast paced read, once you start you won’t put it down. I really enjoyed it.

The second book by Byrd Nash in the Fairytale Retelling Series. In this book we get to see a new version of Beauty and the Beast. Beast has three Beauty’s instead of one. Byrd Nash has a certain way of retelling the fairytales.
Sir Griffin has found himself in a bit of a dilemma. He now has a debt to receive from Mr. Parker. His three daughters. The quote I chose for Sir Griffin is: “Do not remove anything from the grounds of Thorn Hall. I shall know if you do.”
Lily is the eldest Parker daughter at the age of 25. She is soon to be married and will leave her sisters behind. When she learns what went down between her father and Sir Griffin, she goes to see what she could do to get out of it. The quote I chose for Lily is: “I don’t know. I imagine a house that size would have one. Give me a few days to get my feet under me, before you visit.”
Rose is the middle Parker daughter at 21. She loves the garden and spends most of her time out there. When she and Lily go to Thorn Hall she finds the roses. She is the only one who has seen Sir Griffin. The quote I chose for Rose is: “Why be a domestic? We may be daughters of a city-man in trade, but our position in society is not so low.”
Poppy is the youngest Parker sister at 14. She’s too young to be married so her sisters try to find what she could do to pay off her part of the debt. When her father questions where the oldest are she tellls him. The quote I chose for Poppy is: “Lily is the new housekeeper at Thorn Hall, and Rose is helping Sir Griffin with his garden. They are paying off your gambling debt.”
Highly recommended for Fantasy lovers.

Nicole and Kris are a married couple with two kids, this is not your typical love story, in the way that these two start out married and stay married. It is a story about a journey the two take and how they change. Finding themselves and improving their marriage. This is my first book by this author and my first love story of this kind. All in all I was sucked in right away and it held my attention throughout the book. Mostly because it was a different kind of love story. I highly recommend this book. It is a refreshing change.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a really emotive story that drags you in. I really like how the story unfolds and as it does we see more of the characters that even they didn’t realise.
Braxton is a successful cheif. He’s got multiple restaurants and women throwing themselves at him. However Braxton keeps a hard shell to protect himself and even though he has strong feelings for Senara he loses her by pushing her away.
A while later he meets Phoenix and she blows his world apart and his walls down. Braxton becomes the man he’s always wanted to be with Phoenix but he doesn’t realise she is hiding a big dangerous secret until its too late.
After losing Phoenix he is left devastated and can come to terms with it. With the aid of his therapist he works through his feelings, learns the full truth about Phoenix and her life and slowly learns to open his heart again to love.

Seconds is novella number six in the Internet Famous collection by Cam Johns. Tragedy, turmoil and mortification follows Braxton Knight. Anger drives him and everything in his life begins to spiral out of control. A blast from the past re-enters his life and throws him into a tailspin once more.
This story is about second chances. It is also a spin on a classic fairy tale with a modern twist. The characters were colourful and dramatic, but thoroughly enjoyable to read about. A very eventful story with a happy ending. 4 stars.

This is about Vince and he’s an agent who finds himself in a situation where he has two choices to choose from . One will break the barrier where the other will make it stronger. Can he choose? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I highly recommend reading this book and cant wait to read more from this Author.

I love a good story.The Liminal Space (Antipodes Book 2) by T.S. Simons is that. A terrific story. What could be better than surviving an apocalypse and living under a dome. It’s just a good second book in this series. Aside from that, I love how Cam is always reflecting on the then and now. His reflections on what is really important. The stark reality that now is what we have. Although this book is the second in this series it is a good stand-alone story. But reading the first book will enhance your experience with this book. A very enjoyable read.

Finding out some surprising news and having to make a possible life changing decision will keep you reading. I love dystopian books and Simmons definitely knows how to write them! I cannot wait to read more from Simmons!

How I loved this story. I love fairy tales anyway and Price of a Rose: a Beauty and Beast tale (Historical Fantasy Fairytale Retellings Book 2) by Byrd Nash is a wonderful retelling. That might stop some folks but all the stories we tell are just a retelling of a basic theme. All of them. This one is masterfully done. I love how the magic doesn’t override the humanity, that the story is not just about magic. It’s a perfect mix. I do love a good clean love story and this one certainly satisfied that appetite.
Guardians of the Garden by Theresa Pocock

Theresa Pocock is a new author to me. I enjoyed her writing style. She has a very descriptive vocabulary. This story has an engaging plotline. It is full of action and magic. The characters are fully developed and complex in nature. The characters made me want to turn the pages to find out what was going to happen next. Miriam is the main character and made me flip through the pages. She has magic and she is wanting to give it up. In comes Seth, his parents, and his sister who has cancer. Seth is trying to fight for his sister but his parents have checked out. Miriam and Seth are going to meet by chance. I highly recommend this book to see what happens between Miriam and Seth not to mention to see what happens with Seth’s sister.
Guardians of the Garden by Theresa Pocock

Theresa Pocock really did a fantastic job bringing this book to life. I wasn’t sure what to expect as she was a new author to me but the concept sounded original and gripping enough to give it a go for sure, and I was not disappointed that I picked this up at all. The story has lots of elements to it, fantasy, magic, and a world built with such detail you feel as if your feet are firmly planted there with the characters. This is definitely quite the story and my only complaint is at a few times I felt lost or like the writing became detached just a bit. For me it seemed to work itself out quickly and so that wasn’t a terrible issue. I really enjoyed this read and with a cliffhanger like the one at the end of this, I will definitely want to dive into the next book if there is one!

Sons of Sindicato by Cam Johns

Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus are dynamite when they team up. This short novella was jammed to the rim with all the goodies I love in a thriller romantic read. I loved how fast this read but still made me feel as if I had a full length read when I finished, and that I had it stick with me for a very long long time. I loved Braelynn, a kickbutt lawyer with her own skeletons in the closet. She has a secret that she hides well though and things may get complicated when her life collides with Seth, a mafia boss that will make you drool. They are fabulous characters separate but together they ignite your kindle as you read. I can’t wait to see what will come next from these two.
