This is wonderfully fun and engaging book for children that was truly a delight to read. I read this with my eldest and she was really interacting with it the whole way through. The book just felt colourful and fun and entertaining. I loved that it felt educational as well, the best combination for a book of this age. This was a great book and I am looking forward to reading it again.

The Traveler: Book 2 by Deborah Dugan. This book takes us back to The Traveler book one. I do recommend reading the 1st book to truly understand what you are reading. During book 1 Harry had gone into a very long period of stasis. While he is in stasis it lets his body reload, heal and re-energize. During this process he will recall things of his past and the lives he has lived. While he sleeps we see Tristan living in the present time and seeing how the world he lives in his going. When Harry awakes he feels like a real person after a long time of just being and he will see how it is to live in the real world. If you truly enjoyed the first book you will love this one because it will go deeper into the life of the Traveler and explain his being. Its a very good sci-fi read and you will want to see if Harry can make it in the real world even though he has despair in his heart and is feeling lost. Read The Traveler series today!
I thoroughly enjoyed this heartwarming and inspirational sweet romance. The novel is set in the Great Smoky Mountains and along the Appalachian Trail, and the authors wonderfully detailed descriptive narrative brings this setting vividly to life, making me feel as though I was actually there alongside Juliet. Juliet is the leader of the Freedom and Faith group, but isn’t sure of God’s plan for her. She jumps at the chance to lead two other women on a journey to hike sections of the Appalachian Trail, hoping that by getting back to nature she will grow closer to God. Unfortunately, Juliet becomes ill whilst days away from their planned exit point, and so her friends call 911. Loner Jake comes to Juliet’s rescue, but she thinks he looks more like a grizzly bear. However, when she’s ready to leave Jake then becomes ill and needs Juliet to help him. Getting to know Jake better she realises that he’s a man with a heart and a past. When there is a opening at the medical clinic in Hollow Creek Juliet applies, with the thought that it will give her time to help Jake get his life back on track. When Jake finds out the truth, his walls start to tumble down and the pair try to put the past and their own issues aside in order to work out their differences. I liked the main characters, Juliet and Jake and I enjoyed how their relationship developed throughout the story. The storyline flowed well, and this was an enjoyable and engaging read which I definitely recommend.

I loved how there was the extra added element of recipes and I honestly can’t wait to make them myself. Plus, the radio show banter really added to the overall entertainment of the storyline.

Wow okay by now I know I sound like a broken record; this author is one of my favourites as she never ceases to amaze me. This storyline captivated me from the very start! This is an enemy to lovers read and the 5th book in the Mafia Elite series, a series that should be read in order for reader enjoyment.
I love how well this storyline was written, it’s so perfectly detailed and feels really realistic and I found I could easily picture everything playing out in my mind. The connection between the characters was so strong but the relationship I loved the most was Summer’s relationship with the wives, it felt so real and I so badly wanted to join in!

If you need a short sweet romance story to read this is it. At only 109 pages you can fly through this adorable opposites attract story. Clover and Shamrock are 2 VERY different people, but they always say that opposites attract. And boy did they! This was a wonderful Rom Com that I would suggest to anyone needing a quick ready! Will definitely be diving into other works by this author.

I always love enjoy a good academy series. I know you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover but shhhh because I always do. The covers for each of these books are absolutely gorgeous. Maddie Hawthorne is a powerful with from a legacy family. Aiden is a wolf shifter, together their dynamic is so perfect. These books are very well written, the details are flawless. I just love everything about these books.

I love Abbey, she’s got all the sass. I didn’t know there was another book about her. I’ll have to go back and read it too. Abbey sees and talks to creepy clown ghosts all day at school. But, when students start going missing, she knows it’s up to her to find out why.
This is such a short cozy mystery and I love it. I couldn’t put it down. I guess that’s because I love cozy mysteries! But I highly recommend this book.

Let me start with a list of things I love about this book: One, I love the way Nicole has been accepted now that her husband is gone. It is a beautiful thing. Two, I love the way the ‘wives’ accepted Summer. Three, I love how easily Luc accepted and became a part of the family. Four, I love the relationship between Luc and Summer (Lummer???). Five, EVERYTHING!!!! I have been in love with this series (and author) since I read No Way Out. The characters are fun, intelligent, bad ass, strong, funny, and dedicated to family.
Now, what I didn’t like about this book: The length!! That is it. I didn’t want it to end!! I wanted to hang out with the family a little longer.
This author knocks it out of the park again with a stellar addition to the series. I am as hooked now as I was after the first one. Meet me in the warehouse with a saint card, the dagger, and I will swear my allegiance to any one of these families. I am all in until the end.

This was a little bit different. Rather than one story it was two. I feel as though the genre was a little misplaced here. I expected more of a mystery element to it. It was really sweet though. It did give good character backgrounds but I would’ve liked to have seen these a bit more developed than what they were. I felt like it was just lacking something. Maybe not the right read for me *shrugs*.

I absolutely LOVED this book, especially because it incorporated science throughout. It took me about 30 minutes to read this to my niece as we had to stop and try out all of the experiments that were presented throughout. It is a great example that anyone can do anything they put their mind to by breaking down some of the stereotypes surrounding “who can do science?” Again, a truly imaginative and wonderful story. Highly recommend!

This is book 5 in the Mafia Elite series. I have lived all these books. Each one is unique however I do recommend reading them from the start so you know how the families work and who is part of what family. The stories are full of danger as well as the romance. The men are hard and dark which only increases their appeal.
In this book we meet Summer. Summer is on the run after her friend tried Cross a member of the New York Mafia. She escapes to Chicago where she has a one night stand with the person who turns out to be her new boss. Now she is forced to accompany him as his assistant when she is accused of stealing his money but things aren’t what they seem and the secret that Summer is trying to protect as well as her safety could now be in danger. Luc is the heir of the Chicago Mafia although he isn’t aware of this fact until Max turns up and explains things to him. Luc can’t help the attraction he feels towards Summer. However he knows she is hiding something and what that is he plans to find out. As things start to work through Luc realises just how much danger Summer is in. Will he stand up and protect her? Or will he deliver her back to the New York Mafia to avoid more conflict between the Mafia families?
Reunion in the Outback is the fourth book in the Welcome to Bunya Junction series. I have read the entire series of the Carruther’s siblings journey of love and I have enjoyed them all. This book focuses on the youngest, Yolanda, who runs home to Bunya Junction leaving her husband, Michael. Michael, shocked of his wife leaving and taking their young daughter, determines to fight for what he loves most, his family, so he returns to his small home town, one he ran from years previously with Yolanda. I love how this book focuses on not a new love, but rather a long term love that has weathered storms that the other books were not able to focus on. Family, careers, life and death situations all come into focus on Yolanda and Michael fighting to fall back into love with each other and realize that they are soulmates. Not only do I recommend this book, but the entire series. All are super fast reads that will leave you happy.

While I would consider this more of a novella, it was still an amazing read! Mercy, the main character, is quite a complicated character! I love deep, complicated characters. It makes the book a great read and you’re able to put yourself in the book. Mercy is so relatable and that’s exactly what I hope for when I pick a book. The author did an amazing job of weaving in social issues too.

Well I thought this book was a great book for the kiddos. I’m a nanny for 3 different families. I care for a 1 and 2 year old, a 2 year old and a 4 and 7 year old. I have read this book to all of them. Actually the 7 year old reads it to his little sister. Al the kids really enjoyed it. The pictures are colorful. What toddler doesn’t love a rainbow or a mermaid? Actually one of the little girls have sat with me and heard the book so many times she finishes each sentence for me. Great book. And the kids love it!

This is a romantic motorcycle club novel and is 130 pages in length. This is the second book in the series and follows the Grimm Wolves prospect, Bullet. He grew up in foster care and he felt he found his belonging with the Grimm Wolves. He meets Clementine, who is studying to be a nurse. Bullet is trying to make something of himself in the club without letting his brothers down again. Clementine has her eye on the future. The chemistry is white hot with these two and Bullet feels Clementine is just what he needs.

This one is really a emotional ride! Watching these two struggle to stay together is heartbreaking….as well as realistic. Since we get dual POV I am equally frustrated and hopeful for both characters. I could see Michael’s side by trying to prove himself. BTW I loved his job! There are not a lot of books about being a chef and the trials to go with it. Equally Yolo has issues related to how people see her among a few more recent one.
We do get to see a lot of the previous characters. I definitely felt that big brother/little sister vibe coming from them towards Yolo.
Overall this is a good story. A lot of time is spent thinking and re-thinking situations in their heads. Not my favorite-too realistic for me. But still a nice heartfelt story and sometimes coming home is the best thing.

I have been loving this series since the first book. I fall in love with the author’s writing and the characters that I meet along the way every single time. I must say this one was among the best that I have read. I loved the storyline of this one, the talk of second chances, and fighting for what you want. It was beautiful!
This was an empowering read. Sometimes in life stuff will happen and you lose sight of what is important. That does not mean it is gone forever. Sometimes you have to help it find its way back to you. And sometimes that road traveled is the less easy one. I truly loved the story of Michael and Yolanda. There was a lot of moments that were sweet, and some that put on the emotion. I loved reading and watching them grow as characters as well with one another. It was such a beautiful read! Loved it!
If you have not checked out this gifted author or other books in this series, I highly say that you do. This is not one to be passed up by any means. And this book alone is a must read! Highly reccomend!

This is the 4th book in the Bunya Junction series and I really enjoyed it like the books before.
This book was slightly different in the sense that it wasn’t 2 strangers finding love but a married couple falling out and back in love with each other. The author does an amazing job of showing the reader the realities of married life, showing that it isn’t always love and romance and that sometimes you have to lose something to realise what you have.
When Yolanda leaves her husband Michael she feels she needs to return to Bunya Junction to give herself time to heal. After a marriage that had suffered misunderstandings, and disagreements through the years she feels they need a fresh start so leaves with her young daughter. However things aren’t that simple as she realises she left part of herself with her husband.
After Yolanda leaves Michael starts to realise what he had in his relationship and wants to get his wife back so he plans to return to a place he vows never to return to so he can save his family.
There are things at work in the back ground such as demons in Michael’s past that Yolanda doesn’t know about, will she realise what they are before its too late to save them. This story is beautifully written and I loved reading and sensing the realisation that Michael comes to when he realises that he needs to put his family over any job. The author’s writing is very emotive and drags the readers in. You can’t put it down until you know their ending.

Phenomenal book! The story of Luc and Summer was exciting, intriguing and entertaining. Susan is running from the Mafia. Luc is joining the Mafia. They have a unique set of challenges to overcome. The story is very engaging with its characters that are contemporary Mafia characters. They will pull you write in. You get to reading and can’t put the book down. You have to know what’s coming next. I love the fact that previous characters from the series are tied in. The author has written the series in such away that it all intertwines in such a comfortable way. The plot is really challenging. I love how it takes a twist that you weren’t expecting. This is a terrific book in a fantastic series that you must read. Just one-click it, you know you want to. I would give it more than a 5 if I could. It’s one of my favorite reads for 2022. Highly recommended.
I am a big fan of children’s books that teach as they read. This author wrote an entertaining treat for the kids to learn as they read. Trezzie the mermaid and Maia each taught other and Fig lessons about water/air science and rainbows. The illustrations are bright and attention grabbing. The story, whether read by a parent or on their own, is written in such a way that the child may ask the parent if they can try that. This is a fun book for kids and families alike. I highly recommend it. I will be adding it to our library.

I love a good mystery. I enjoyed the fact that the female characters were making important life decisions for themselves, such as employment, romantic entanglements, and whether or not to marry. In a time period where women were beginning to assert themselves, it is interesting to read a story where characters actually do things that women of today take for granted. I liked the fact that most of the male characters were supportive and encouraging of their female counterparts. The author brings varied themes to her tale.
5 stars all the way and I would give more if I could! The author has creatively formed a wonderful community in this series and Bunya Junction is somewhere I’d love to be! This 4th books sees Yolanda and Michael go through some very difficult times in their marriage. Yolanda returns home to Bunya Junction needing some space to try and sort out if her marriage is really going to make it. Very soon after, her husband Michael also returns determined to prove to her that their marriage is everything and he wants his wife back! Communication or lack there of, is definitely a topic of the book and at times I swear I wanted to reach into the book and “Gibbs” slap them both! I kept saying “just tell him” or “damn it tell her!!”. Now the fact the author had me talking to her fictional characters so passionately, as if I was right there with them, is proof to me of her amazing writing talent and the quality of her writing.

I would say this was my favourite so far, but I just love them all!
Self-doubt can damage one’s soul and self-worth and this is clearly represented within Summer’s character, having the reader root for her from the very start, and it’s lovely to watch her blossom throughout this novel. In comes Luc, who has grown into a successful business man through hard work and dedication, and can see the doubt and the emotions that run through Summer, but finds it difficult to move forward with the contrasting emotions that he holds for her, and vice versa. The writing style of this author has become my absolute go to when I’m looking for something to bring me out of a funk, and she delivers every single time. As always, highly recommend this series, and look forward to reading more!
This is the fourth book in the Welcome to Bunya Junction series, although it can be read as a standalone.This is Yolanda and Michael’s story, and what an amazing story it is. Yolanda and Michael were high school sweethearts who got married and moved away from Bunya Junction to the city right out of school. Almost a decade later, Yolanda leaves Michael and heads back home to Bunya Junction with her daughter. Michael thought he was finally breaking the family curse, he had a wonderful family, a great job, and things were looking up. But, things fell apart when Yolanda left and took their daughter. Michael goes to Bunya Junction to try to save his family. When Yolanda’s and Michael’s secrets come out can they save their marriage?
