Call of the Alpha is SUCH a great read. Again this author takes a spin with the traditional shifter paranormal romance! I didn’t even know I needed a single dad alpha until reading this book! Bonus: the female lead is wicked smart. A wonderful addition to this series. I hope the next one is even better!

A Second Chance was such a heart-warming story! This is a true second chance romance beginning with angst. True mates ripped apart by fate, will they find their way back to each other? This is such a refreshing take on fated mates from the human perspective which we don’t often see. Great beginning to this series. I am definitely following this author!

I am a sucker for a student teacher romance novel and this one exceeded all of my expectations! I have not read any books by this author before now and I cannot wait to read more! Diego is going through some hard times when he is offered to take over a fellow teacher’s classwork while she goes on maternity leave and this is where he meets Cassie. From the moment he meets her, he is drawn to her and cannot stop wanting to see her or learning more about this woman who has so captured his attention. I could not put this story down and cannot want to re-read it over and over again.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love contemporary romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters. I was so addicted to this story it only took me a little over a day to devour it. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.
Grace needs some peace and quiet because her roommate is very wild. She is looking for a new place to call home and she is offered a deal she can’t refuse. Grace runs into the very handsome Ian and he says that she can live with him rent free. She is so excited she doesn’t even care that she has to cook him dinner every night. Grace and Ian start to get to know one another and they can’t help it that they have a connection. Will Grace find the relationship she has been looking for or will she end up heartbroken once again?
This story was fabulous! I loved meeting the characters and getting to know them! I wanted to visit the town and see her shop. Watching the relationships build warmed my heart. I’m a sucker for stories with successful relationships and this is such a sweet story. The suspense and mystery just made it even better. It’s a great read, especially if you like romance and mystery.

Notebook Mysteries- Changes and Challenges is the third instalment in the Notebook Mysteries series by Kimberly Mullins. This story picks up a soon after the events in books two- so I would recommend reading the previous book/s before starting on this one, as I feel that knowing what happened previously will give you a better understanding and appreciation of the characters, motivations, and foundations of the story- which in turn will enhance your reading experience of this book. Emma Evens is once again thrust into intrigue and mystery which brings a whole new set of changes and challenges. With crime and investigation, suspense, drama, danger, adventure, and a little romance- this quirky historical mystery is my favourite of the series, so far. Looking forward to seeing what Emma (and the team) get up to in ‘Unexpected Outcomes’, Book #4 in the series. Happy Reading!

This was a great 5 star read. We get Diego’s POV in this book. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
He is dealing with a soon to be ex that is being very complicated. He had been with her quite a few years and thought she would be the one he spent his life with. Trying to move forward his brother keeps trying to get him out of his shell but he’s not that kind of person. He takes on a class when a co-worker goes on maternity, this is where he meets Cassie. There is something about her that pulls him in.
Diego agrees to tutor Cassie and man did I feel for the poor girl when she came to the first session. How embarrassing for her, Diego handled it so well and I loved how supportive he was of her. As they spend more time together sparks start to fly. Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I had some LOL moments as well. You can read this book as a standalone but reading Cassie’s view first gives you better insight into things. If you’re looking for a good second chance romance, 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This story was phenomenal! From the first page, I could not put it down and when I finished, it left me wanting more! Lily is a servant of the Wolf Hallow royal family. Though she didn’t choose to be in her position, she wants nothing more than to stay out of the spotlight. Some unwanted attention brought her into the spotlight she didn’t want.
Jason is the future king and is just waiting for his chance to claim the spot as Alpha, until he meets his mate. The trouble is, she doesn’t know, nor is it a welcome title to anyone involved. Jason soon realizes he will have to fight for what he wants.
Jason and Lily’s story has a little of everything; action, adventure, romance, humor, and even some unexpected turns. I loved that I felt like I was in the story with them. I felt their emotions resonate within me as I turned page after page. It is a true story of fighting for the ones you love! Plus, who doesn’t love a little paranormal romance, especially when wolves are involved?! I can not wait to read more Wolf Hollow stories in the future!

Everyone loves an Alpha and when he finds his mate it makes it that much better! Rylie was beautiful and strong with a good soul. Mason was a single dad and the Alpha of Powder River Pack. He was doing the best with what he was given, and leading his pack with high hopes of finding his eternal mate. Together their story was passion pain, and acceptance with a beautiful HEA. This was a great werewolf story and I am eager for what’s next.

This book is a well written short story by an author who is new to me. I was impressed with how well the author described the scenes, things the characters were thinking and feeling, and how well the main characters interacted as things changed. I was able to connect to the main characters of Lily and Jason as they helped each other navigate changes. I love how Lily grew stronger as she learns more about the shifter world as a human who was turned. She compliments Jason, the future pack Alpha, in many ways with her strength and caring personality. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

This is one of the cutest romance books that I have read in a while. Clover is a waitress trying to get by, saving herself for her man. Shamrock is a ladies man with a reputation. When these two meet up, the sparks fly. Problem is, she meets him as Patrick. Can she still love him once she learns his nickname? This author did a fantastic job. Fun story. Well-written characters that were totally relatable. They could have been your best friends. I would love to see more like this. Maybe in a Benihana, lol. Please, from a reader eagerly awaiting more? I would definitely give it more than a 5 if I could. Highly recommend.
Lily is a human servant in the royal household of Wolf Hollow. Her life is turned upside down when the family returns and she is attacked by a guard. Jason, the prince, catches her scent and realizes that she is his mate. Everything seems to be set against them meeting and ultimately being together. As they find their way to each other, will they be enough? Can Jason survive a challenge to them being together?
This is my first time reading this author. It caught my eye, and I couldn’t resist picking it up! It was a quick read and full of action. There were surprises throughout the book that kept me reading to see how it was all going to work out. I do love a good werewolf book! I won’t give away anything, but it did end the book at a bit of a cliff hanger. Looking forward to the next book and seeing how it goes!

This shifter romance is unlike any I have read before! Lily just wants to go unnoticed and do her chores. Being a servant for wolf royalty is not easy and keeps you on guard. Jason is just trying to make it until he becomes the Alpha. He definitely wasn’t looking for his mate and neither was Lily. This story is very fast paced and does have some triggers. I really enjoyed the writing style and the unexpected plot twist! Looking forward to the second book!

Well, this one will certainly leave you with a pile of tissues. You will go through ups and downs and everything in between. There is a lot of tragedy and angst and is full of drama and pain, loss and love and you feel it right along with our character. This is a clean romance story and is a tragic tale all round that is heart wrenching and will make your heartache and yet it has hope. It is a moving storyline that will give you all the feels. Money can’t buy happiness and grief will rip you apart. This is the first time I read something written from this author and it is a pleasant read.
Uhm. I hate clowns. With a passion. But this book, oh gosh it was so so good. Abbey is a force, and at only 14, I sure wouldn’t be messing with her. This was my first book from this author, 10/10 stars for you! It was hard to leave it and I really want a second book…

3.5 stars The third book in this cozy mystery series sees Emma once again ensconced in murder and mayhem. You need to read the first two books as they follow on from each other. In doing so you get to know the characters in more depth and have a better understanding of where they have been and what shaped them. We meet up again with old friends and dig our way through suspense and mystery, kidnapping and drugs. Our strong-minded sleuth is not one to step away from a challenge. So, stepping up to handle a charity is just what she will do and do well to help those in need. Add in a trip to Paris and a romance where they want more and the adventure ramps up.
This was a pretty good read! The writing was really good and immersive, and the character were…..interesting. I liked the female MC and the male MC at least. What I didn’t enjoy about this novel was the violence against the women and the human slaves. It felt excessive to me in a way. One thing I liked was that Jason, the male MC, didn’t seem to feel this way and wanted to change it. So there is that at least. While I personally didn’t enjoy some of the happenings in this novel, I know some people do and this book was really well written and I was easily captured into the story. I would read more from this author in the future, and I can’t wait to do so.

This was a journey I have never been on before. The author displays extensive knowledge in a multitude of areas or has done research to make the story life-like. I wondered at the beginning if I was going to be able to keep all the characters straight in my mind, however, that was not a problem as the book continued the story seamlessly into the many Multiverses you will find yourself enjoying. This book made me very introspective as I lay quiet at night. A book that can keep my mind pondering after I finish the book is a definite to be read book for sure.
Journeys Through Time Space
The book centralizes the characters from the first book to Matt and friends, Thomas Halloway, Master Hades faction, and the reptilian humanoid population. It is a battle for survival. Good vs evil. Who wins this battle is paramount to both sides. We see Matt continue to study ancient truths and come into himself as the ancient one. I really enjoyed how he was able to experience his past lives.
Journey Through AllCreation
I really loved this book the most because it tied the first two books together in a nail biter of a book. I loved that our favorite characters from book one are back and helping to keep the Multiverse from being destroyed. This book had you thinking on your toes as so much was happening. I was cheering for the heroes to win throughout and hoping all would end in their favor. The authors’ descriptive aptitude makes you feel like you are there with the characters. Who will win? Good or Evil?

OMG I freaking love this book! It was definitely different than I was expecting even with the cover. I started reading it and it kept me reading more and more. I’m not a very big fan of clowns at all and when the ghost clowns happened I almost stopped but couldn’t. I had to finish the book. I’m so glad I did because it was so good. Abbey is such a wonderful character and heroine of the book. I truly hope that the author makes a second book.

This book was a really good read! I wasn’t sure how well I would actually enjoy this book, but like usual this author did not disappoint! It’s like a fairytale story, and it’s full of advice, confidence building, and cultural history. Or what I feel like is cultural history. The story telling was rich and very descriptive. It felt like I was right there in the story with Mercy. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did so I was pleasantly surprised. For such a short read this one packed quit a bang into it. I highly recommend and can’t wait to read more stories like this one from the author in the future!

I was thoroughly surprised by this book. It hit me. I’m my feelings and I don’t know how I will recover. This author should definitely be in the angst category. I am just saying I bawled my eyes out.
Grace is sick and tired of her roommates activities. She has a plan and goals for herself that she needs to accomplish. Ian is her neighbor who just happens to be looking for a new roomie. The only thing he requires is a home cooked meal every night. A healthy home cooked meal I should say. Sweet deal if I do say so myself. Especially with all the chemistry they have.
When it’s decided that she will move in with Ian he has secrets that make her curious about who he really is. But Ian also has suspicions of his own. They both have skeletons in the closet.
When the chemistry between them heats up one night those skeletons start to unravel and they both have to decide if the past can be welcomed in the future.
I was so shocked when the twists finally unraveled I cried my eyes out for Grace, for Ian. Everything they went through to get where they are hit you right in the gut. I will be honest that I started to piece together that they knew each other but I just wasn’t sure how. Grace is a strong character that you can’t help but cheer on. She has had a rough go of things that makes you want to wrap her up and never let her out. But at times I wanted to shake her and help her piece together how they are intertwined. Now Ian what a man. He just wants to be connected with Grace again.
This author has a way with words that sucks you into this book. It plays like a movie in your head and when it’s over you can’t help but feel like your life has no meaning. I am looking forward to many more books from this author.

5 Stars Juliet’s Journey to Love (Great Smoky Mountain Getaways Book 1) by Elsie Davis
Juliet’s Journey to Love is the first book in the Great Smoky Mountain Getaways Series. This is a Contemporary Romance/ Christian/ Inspirational clean Romance that I absolutely loved reading. This is just what I needed with all the chaos life has thrown at me lately. I was able to sit and relax for a few hours. This had my emotions all over the place and it was a very heart-felt read. This is a fairly new author and I can say she’s got a new fan. I’ve already recommended it to my mom This is a story about Juliet and Jake. She is a leader of a group through the church that is hiking a small portion of the Appalachian Trail. She finds herself becoming ill and needing to get some medical attention but what she wasn’t expecting was the grizzly mountain man Jake. He nurse her back to health only to fall ill with the same thing she had. Now it’s her turn to nurse him back. What happens next I highly recommend reading this book to find out. I don’t want to give to much away. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

This was a quick read but it packed a punch. There is a lot happening in this story, and it’s told from multiple pov’s. I read this book in one sitting and when I was done I wanted more. There are so many good characters in this story. We got to see character growth and change in both Jason and Lilly which will help them with what they will be up against next. This book touches on some sensitive subjects that might be a trigger for some people. I found this story to be engaging, emotional, and written in a way that sucks you right into it. I cannot wait to read the next one! This is a must read.

This series is amazing to say the least! I love the sleuth Emma and her adventures she goes on I love the atmosphere the books take place on as well! I love how the mystery takes time to unravel and you have to use your own sleuth skills to figure out what the “culprit is”
Something I do love about this author, is they have created a wonderful heroine you can not help but love! I love Emma and her mind. She is bright as they come I would say. What I love about Emma is she never leaves her mind far from the truth. I also love how descriptive the author is when they are writing. I feel as if I am transported to a different time. The book was nothing short of amazing. Loved it, and I was just left wanting more. I loved the book, the characters, and how things led up to the end!
Amazing book, that truly is a ride of enjoyment! Love the author as well! I love their writing skill truly. I highly recommend this book, this author and this series! A must read!
Faithful in Love (Cliff Walk Cousins Book 1) by Cecily K. Wolfe
Faithful in Love is the first book in the Cliff Walk Cousins Series. This is a Historical Romance/Christian book that I absolutely loved reading. This is a fairly new author to me but I’ve already looked to see what other books she has. Im definitely going to check them out. I’m a huge fan of Historical Romance/Christian Romance and this book definitely checked all the boxes. I was pulled in from the beginning and had a terrible time putting it down. I caught myself saying one more chapter several times. This is a story about Faith and Nico. Faith finds herself starting to fall for her uncle’s apprentice who just happens to be Nico. He’s extremely happy with his apprenticeship for his uncle. but what will happen when their friendship turns more romantic? I loved these two especially Faith. I found myself a little emotional at times . I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author. I’m very excited about this series.

This was such a good book to read for a break! Sophie even took a break! She’s a highly rated actress who has been non-stop working for her career. Gil, her actor friend who slowly starts to become more, convinces her to do the break. They go to France! During the break, romance begins and twists and llamas are involved. Take a look for yourself as you’ll love it too!
While this is a shorter novella I loved it just as much as the first book in this series. While this novella can be read as a stand alone I would recommend reading the first one just so you can get a fell for all of the wonderful characters that reappear in this second installment. While this story was shorter it still packed all the same great things that the first one did, the emotions, the drama, the romance was all incredible. I can’t wait to dig into the next installment.

I read this book in an afternoon! Its an incredible, but not basic, romance story! The author did a wonderful job of giving us realistic characters who face twists and turns throughout the story. Jeremy and Regan had such a good connection and I kept wanting to read more. If you like contemporary romance novels, I suggest this book!
This was a fast paced paranormal romance, featuring wolf shifters, that had me gripped from start to finish. The very likeable and relatable heroine of the story Lily, has been a captive of the Huntington’s, the Wolf Hollow Royals for a year and has been working as their slave. Lily is a human among the Wolf Hollow Pack, of wolf shifters. The Royals have been away touring their pack lands but when they return Lily is surprised by her reaction to them, especially the Prince. The future Alpha and King of Wolf Hollow, Jason is biding his time until he can take over from his father, the Alpha and end his terrible regime. On returning home one sniff of Lily and he knows she’s his mate despite being a mere slave girl and a human. Jason is determined to be a good mate to Lily, but with his parents against the match, another wolf wanting to claim Lily, and the rebels at the gates, all conspiring to keep them apart, Lily and Jason may not get their HEA.
I liked the main characters, Lily and Jason and their chemistry came across in the writing. I was especially engaged with Lily, and really felt for her and the tragic circumstances she found herself in. The other characters and setting were brought vividly to life through the descriptive narrative, immersing me in the story. The storyline does deal with some sensitive issues, and although things happen ‘off page’, they do have a significant impact on the storyline. I hope some of the secondary characters mentioned will also get their own stories. I found myself engrossed in this story and was shocked by the cliffhanger ending, so I am now waiting impatiently for book two in this series!
