While the concept of the book is intriguing and the illustrations are beautifully done, I found the story to be a bit lacking. The plot is not very engaging and the writing style is quite simple, making it more suitable for younger readers.
However, I did appreciate the educational aspect of the book, as it includes interesting facts about various sea creatures and different types of mermaids. It’s a great way to introduce children to marine life and spark their curiosity about the ocean.
Overall, Mermaid Tails by Suzanna Lynn is a cute and visually appealing book that may be more enjoyable for younger readers who are fascinated by mermaids and sea creatures.

This was a really great book and I loved every minute of it. I do love an enemies to lovers romance and whilst the characters weren’t technically enemies there was a lot of history between them and an ex best friend thrown in. I loved the characters Logan and Jinx, they did seem to have this genuine connection and I have to admit when I first picked up the book I thought I had got the whole story and characters planned in my head but I was wrong. Logan, yes was you head strong business man but he also had a respectful side to him which I really liked. I really liked Jinx too, she was so down to earth and genuine but she was also a smart business woman with her head screwed on! Overall a really good read and one that I would highly recommend.

Give Us Bad Boys & Billionaires by L.M. Mountford. This is such a good collection of sexy stories. One of my favorite stories was “Falling for my Son’s best friend”. Its the story of Elizabeth who is going thru empty nest syndrome with her son moving away to college. She ends up going to visit her best friend and she is out of town. The only person there is her best friend’s son Hugh. Is she seriously considering a relationship with her best friend’s son? Such a fun read. The next one I really enjoyed was “Under my BFF”S daddy. Its the story of Cassandra who is getting over a rough break up so she decides to go on a trip with her BFF. Her BFF’s dad happens to be there and Cassandra has always had a secret crush on him. Will they cross that bridge that they can’t go back from? “Her Dark Savior” is my other favorite. In this story Kate is hunting down whoever killed her brother and she is out for blood. She ends up making some dangerous people mad and is in danger. Out of nowhere a dark handsome stranger come in and saves her and she needs to pay him for that rescue doesn’t she? Such a fun collection of erotic romances.

My daughters absolutely love mermaids so when I saw this book it was a no-brainer, I HAD to get it. It did not disappoint either! Both my girls loved this book and interacted with each page so easily. The author even includes little facts about each fish at the bottom. Between the imagination of what each mermaid could look like and the bright bold colors, my girls were instantly hooked and wanting more.

I just love all of these books! There are a few to this series and I have read a few so far. If you are even thinking about getting your child a puppy/dog/pet you should definitely read this book with your child! These books teach you so much about the needs of the dog, the responsibilities with having a dog, and everything in between. Which of course you can use as a lesson with any animal you get. In this book you follow CJ and Lora on their quest to learn everything they can about dogs. What they need (food, water, training, vet visits, grooming, personal space, exercise, patience, etc.). They also learned about different breeds (small, medium, big, some that need more space to run, some that are small and need more attention, etc. etc. etc.). After learning as much as they can they go to their parents to ask for a dog and tell them everything they have learned and what they must do to have a dog. The parents believe they are ready and you get to meet Porter, who is a Mastiff and Midge, who is a Greater Swiss Mountain dog. Both different and both have different needs. If you read some of the other books in this set you will get to see them more and learn all about them, other dogs, and all their needs. This is a wonderful set for kids. They will learn all kinds of things! Adults could even learn from this book! I did and I’ve had dogs throughout my whole life!!

This book had me on the edge of my seat with so much happening so soon (not a bad way to start a book) by the way. From the relationship with his twin brother to the other characters, Jake is a man on his own embracing a new environment. the way that everything shaped Jake into being more than who he is beautiful as he handles his own. Dealing with his own painful strides, Jake is overcoming it in a way that’s heroic at least in my eyes. I’m glad I read this book as it led me to trust myself more and the position I’m in at the present moment. Great message, great read: get you a copy!

This book had me rolling. It had a few good laughs and a lot of spice! In the beginning Cy was a little annoying. He was your typical spoiled rich kid, that used money to solve all of his problems. But seeing his character grow and mature was worth the sometimes cringe worthy moments he had. Jolie is your single mom with 2 boys. She’s hardworking, and does everything she can for her boys, especially her little boy that has cystic fibrosis. Her side of the story watching her try to make ends meet broke my heart. But when she put’s Cy in his place several times, it was noteworthy. It was a good contemporary romance read, and a good short book. The story was sweet and heartfelt, and the writing like always was phenomenal. I can’t wait to read about the rest of the family and see where their stories go!

This book is the follow up/ continuation of Hidden Mischief. I enjoyed the first book alot and was excited to to read this one. We were introduced to Zach and Ashton in the first book and this book was much needed for their HEA. So much happened in their story, many hurdles and hardships to overcome and none of it was easy. They were awesome main characters and even though I’m sad their story is done, I enjoyed it alot. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future! Happy Reading!
This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled right in and finished it in one sitting. I really enjoyed Cy and Jolie’s story. My emotions were all over the place. Jolie was a strong character, she was a single mom working at Cy’s family theme park. Cy is working undercover and when he meets Cy he is immediately drawn to her. What will happen when both their secrets come out? Overall I really enjoyed this book. We get steamy, sweet, and so much more. This author does a great job with her writing and I can’t wait to read more from her. I look forward to the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today.

I really enjoyed this book. It is a chapter book so I do recommend for an older elementary student. But it is still a great read! I’m on the road for work a lot and I read this book in between pickups and it really kept me entertained.
This is a super fun chapter book about Timmy, Beth, and Arthur, three friends who are on the hunt for a 200 year old time capsule. They have a super cool dog named Cody that knows Morse Code. Together the band of friends are on a quest to crack the codes and decipher the map that they’ve been given.
This is a great book to either read aloud as a family or to have on your shelf for your reader(s)! There is a sci-fi component to this story for added enjoyment! A must have for your personal or school library!

This collection of books are so steamy, I’m shocked my kindle didn’t melt. There’s a book for everyone in this set. These books are all so short you can read one book a night and make it last longer. Each story was better than the one before, I can’t even pick a favorite. You definitely want to get your hands on this set full of short, hot, addicting steamy, hot….did I say hot already ?? This was ridiculously good. I loved them all. We all know this author knows how to write spice just as good as any other but, I do not think any review could really Tell you just how good this box set is. I had read another book by this author last year, and it was such a hit with my family that I didn’t hesitate to pick this one up. I love the beautiful cover and illustrations inside as I feel they added a bit more emotion to the story, especially for my kids. We all learned more about Lunar New Year and the traditions in their culture. It sparked wonderful conversations with my 8- and 12-year-old which is always exciting! This would be wonderful to share with the young ones in your life, but I genuinely enjoyed the educational side of it. I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for us because they’re quickly becoming a favorite in our household!
I love getting my hands on another book in this series as they are each as good as the last one I read. this book is exactly what I have come to expect as well. It is well written story with a great plot and fantastic characters. They are complicated and interesting and so easy to connect with. For me, these are the kind of characters that carry a story and I want to find out more about. This author has really shown off her writing style with this series and it has definitely caught my attention. I have enjoyed each and every book so far and this one is no exception. I am looking forward to my next book by this author.

The Changed Man Audio Book is the fourth book in The Olympic Peninsula Series. This series just keeps getting better and better with each new book. I’ve truly enjoyed listening to this series and this one may be my favorite yet. The narrator does an amazing job bringing the characters to life with different tones of their voice. I literally listened to this every break and on my way home I had to know what was going to happen next. I just want to say if you haven’t already started this series I highly recommend starting with the first book. It’s a great series and you get back story on what’s been going on and get to know the characters better. Im not going to give anything away. I highly recommend giving this a listen to find out how things turn out for Jake. I’m looking forward to reading/listening to more from this Author.

Book 1-Echoing Hearts This is a beautiful slow burn romance. I love the author’s writing style and how the characters were really brought to life. The author has a way of writing that has you captivated by the characters and willing them to get their happy ever after. Even when that seems so unlikely. This story had me captivated from the first page and I wasn’t able to put it down. Rae is dead set against the idea of love. She can’t see herself falling in love and isn’t looking for it. So when she meets Dean she is taken completely by surprise when the feelings she gets aren’t entirely neutral. Dean has had heart ache in the past when his ex partner left him at the aisle. Since then he has sworn against love. Never wanting to let anyone get close enough to hurt him again. When they meet the circumstances aren’t ideal. Rae is meant to do a segment in a magazine about Dean’s house and he’s not supposed to be there. As Dean and Rae realise they are stuck with each other for the weekend their attractions grows. Things aren’t going to be straight forward however and when Rae’s room-mate and famous rock star comes into the picture the jealously is there for everyone to see. Can Rae and Dean see through all the rubbish and be together? Can they both let go of their pasts and embrace the love that is waiting for them if they are only brave enough to take the risk? It was a beautiful story to watch unfold and their passion and pain is felt in every page and decision they make along the way
Book 2- His Forever Muse This is such an emotional friends to lovers romance. This is the second book in The Echo Series however it can be read as a standalone and still be enjoyed. I love this author’s writing. There are sensitive issues such as domestic violence in this story and the author handles it in a way that isn’t too graphic but gives the reader just enough information to get a feel of what it is like to be in a relationship like that. Brandon Rossi is a talented musician and artist but just recently he’s lost his mojo. There is something missing from his life but he doesn’t know what that is until he meets Calliope. Calliope is a art gallerist. After the trauma from her past relationship which left her a broken person she had managed to rebuild herself and her life. She puts on a front of being a happy complete person but that isn’t the case. She is still broken inside and feels she will never be complete until her path crosses with Brandon again. Their connection hasn’t go away even after all these years and this could be their chance to finally give their love a chance. But things aren’t that simple and when Calliope’s abusive ex returns it could mean the end of their budding romance. This is a heartbreaking and moving story about second chance love and overcoming all odds to find their happy ever after but would is Brandon strong enough to protect her and safe her from her past and the demons that still lurk?
Book 3- Unexpected Entanglement This is the 3rd book in The Echo Series. I highly recommend reading the books in order so you get a better feel for the characters as previous characters show up in this story. However it could be read as a standalone because it mainly focuses on the two main characters Chris and Rowan. This story has a mixture of everything. The romance is a slow burn as circumstances mean that Chris and Rowan have to pretend to be a couple. So what happens when faking being in love actually turns into the real thing? This is something neither of them expected to happen or were looking for. All Chris had to do was help Rowan pull off her cousins wedding, but as attraction sizzled between them and strange things started happening he knew there was no way he could walk away from her. As a reader you can’t help but fall in love with the characters which just goes to show how much love and character the author puts into them. They are more than just words on a page you can imagine them as living breathing beings and you feel every emotion they go through. I really enjoyed this emotional heartfelt story.
Book 4- Dangerous Rhythm This is the 4th book in The Echo Series. Each book can be read as a standalone as they focus on different couples however I have a feeling once you read one you will want to read them all. What I love about this story is that it is the female lead who is the bodyguard/protector which is a nice twist as normally its the male. These books are full of danger, chemistry and great characters. Curtis is a famous rockstar. He has everything he could wish for in life but he feels something is missing. When he witnesses a crime he is forced to go into hiding with a bodyguard for protection. That body guard is Lina. They met years before when Lina was his bodyguard and Curtis left a lasting impression. Now their paths cross again as Lina now has to protect him from the Mafia and a woman who wants Curtis. Not for his fame or his body but she wants his head. Can Lina keep her emotions and desires in check long enough to keep Curtis safe? When Curtis realises that Lina is what he’s been missing in his life can he convince her that sometimes duty can take a back seat to following your heart. This is a fast paced romance filled with steamy chemistry and danger around every corner.

I am such a fan of this series. The author does such a fantastic job of portraying family dynamics and family relationships. Though this is book 4 and it’s focus is on Jake and his slow burn relationship with Chiara,we see the relationships still developing with the other couples. We also get to see him work on rebuilding his relationship with Joe and his other family members. This book, heck the whole series, hits me in the feelers. I always come away feeling every emotion. These guys feel like they could be part of your family or close friends. They are easy to relate to. Such a strong writing style that pulls you in and you are engaged until the end. Hearing it in audio provides a new level to it in the way of feeling those emotions when it comes to the relationships. Every time Chiara would real to Lorenzo about Miss Bigfoot, I swear I woul loose it and spit what I was drinking out. This might be my favorite among the series. I loved the narration. It was fantastic all around.

This was a quick read for me. It was a bit predictable but had some good connectable points despite its YA target audience. I enjoyed the characters and the overall plot. It was engaging and I felt that the story did have a nice overall flow. This would definitely hit better in the target audience than it did for me.

This is a multi-pov book. There are multiple POVs in chapters too and the only telltale that it’s a new POV is a break in the page.
Logan- grumpy, workaholic. stopped trusting people due to an issue that happened between him and his ex-best friend.
Jinx- sleeps around with guys while waiting for her “larger-than-life true love” while also running a shop with her best friend.
This is a fast burn and there are spicy scenes in this book.
Overall the book wasn’t that bad. Make Me Burn by Alicia Street is the first book from the series I have read and will most likely read the others now. There’s drama, being reunited after so long, rekindling love, and finding out the truth for these two love birds and I am here for it!

The last thing she wants to do is ask Drake for help, but he is the only one that can help her. Drake distrusts journalists but he has a soft spot for Finlay even if he is too proud to admit it. Together these two are on a mission that had layers like an onion. When they think they have things figured out another is uncovered. Getting the truth is important, but how far is too far when your life may be on the line? This short read was full of real life situations and acts of how the working man or woman is treated in a world where the little guy gets the short end of the stick but still comes out on top. It’s cute, and full of surprises. The book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger necessarily but it is the first book in a series. It’s not necessarily something for me as I’m not a huge contemporary fan but for those who love contemporary romance, this may be a book for you. I’m giving this book a 3 star rating not because of my preferred genres but I felt like it could use some more detail, and I wasn’t at all prepared for the FMCs second line of work and didn’t find it exactly tasteful but for others it might be a different experience. I really enjoyed the MMC especially that this was a dual point of view. I also didn’t care for the mental thoughts that didn’t feel mature enough considering the age demographic. This book probably should have had some trigger warning’s as some may feel uncomfortable but it didn’t deter me from the story.

She is taken in by a widower and his son for the next 10 years, but leaves when people start to question why she hasn’t aged at all. It’s better to move on than try to explain something that you don’t have an answer to. Gabriel and his cousin Sebastian have been traveling all over not staying in one place too long. One night Gabriel catches a glimpse of Stevie and he cannot believe how similar she looks to the long gone fae princess, Stephanie. Upon this discovery he immediately returns to his king and is then ordered to find out Stevies true identity. Sebastian was madly in love with Stephanie all those years ago, surly he would know if she is the long lost princess. These cousins, however, are not the only ones looking for Stevie. There is also a bounty hunter seeking her and he has found her location. Will he get to her before all of her memories come back? I enjoyed this story and all the twists and turns. Shadowed Deception being book three in the Shadow Defense Security Series we get to read about more of the guys at this agency finding their one and only. The series continues to keep me on the edge of my seat. Shadowed deception had this series typical drama, action, angst, enemies that become lovers that is par for the course in these books. There is Drake and Finlay, an investigative journalist who is undercover, in very deep into a sex trafficking ring. The character development was very strong and I enjoyed how the novel unfolded. Another great addition to the series.
