Vixen: (Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter) by D.M. Earl – Review by Kirsten Berkebile

OMG Vixen had me in tears throughout the entire book. I loved that the author mentions herself in the book. So many things happened towards the middle and ending of the story. However there were lots of things that started from the first book and was carried over into each character’s book. I love that each character gets a chance to tell their story and yet still be apart of something so amazing as the Devil’s Handmaidens MC or Grimm Wolves. I wish I had someone like these ladies have each other. There is a lot of scary things throughout each book, while there is romance there is a lot demons and dangerous things that happen and if you aren’t willing to keep reading past those dangerous moments, this series is definitely not for you.  I personally have felt a connection with each character as I have read their story. It’s all too real for some of the reading and I had to stop and take a deep breath before I continued reading. I can not wait to read another book from D.M.Earl.

This is book 4 in this series. It can definitely be read as a stand alone. Vixen joins forces with Lucas to help rescue several women from a human trafficking ring, something Vixen has first hand knowledge of. Lucas has decided to protect her no matter what, even when the past comes back to try and destroy her. This was a fantastic addition to the series.

Vixen: (Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter) by D.M. Earl – Review by Nicole Thompson

Vixen Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter” by D.M. Earl was a recommendation outside my usual reading preferences, but I ventured into its pages and was captivated. This fourth installment in D.M. Earl’s “DEVIL’S HANDMAIDENS MC: TIMBER-GHOST MONTANA” series stands strong as a standalone novel. It boldly explores dark and erotic themes that may challenge sensitive readers, yet these elements enrich the story with steamy passion, heartrending emotion, and intense action.

At its core, “Vixen” unveils the powerful story of Mira, or Vixen, and her intricate relationship with former undercover FBI agent Lucas ‘Ironsides’ Dombranski. Vixen’s unwavering loyalty and acceptance of hidden truths deeply resonated with me, while Lucas’ commitment to doing what’s right and his gratitude for Vixen’s trust were truly admirable. Despite occasional narrative shifts between characters, the story shines brightly, offering a complex blend of mystery, suspense, abuse, lies, and secrets, all driven by noble intentions. “Vixen Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter” is a must-read for fans of dark and compelling romance that leaves hearts both broken and warmed.

The author sucks you in again with an amazing story of survival and surpassing. Vixen, through the Devil’s Handmaidens, has not only survived the ordeal that was forced upon her, she has managed to build a life beyond. She still has ghosts and baggage, but who doesn’t?

Vixen receives a call from her past. This call, this person can bring everything good and wonderful in Vixen’s new life to a grinding halt. As more secrets and shadows of the past surface, Vixen finds herself swallowed by all the emotions. All she wants is to get lost in the high she knows she could find in a needle but Vixen also knows that is not the way to solve anything. Lucas “Ironside” was part of her past but now, he is there as a part of the present. Could he be part of her future?

Lucas “Ironside” risked his life for Vixen then. He is risking everything for her now. He Thought he was doing what was best for Vixen when he just disappeared because he could not bring her further into his world of undercover work. The choices he made, the things he did for Vixen then was to give her a future. Lucas can finally tell her, but will she forgive him?

As Vixen and Lucas fight the past, it leads the Devil’s Handmaidens into dangerous territory. Their mission was to rescue three young women. What they find is so much more. The Handmaidens, along with their support system, do what they always do and fight the evils man has wrought on this world, making survivors out of human trafficking victims.

This author does it again. There is nothing like the cast of characters that she has put together in this series. From Tink to Shadow to Vixen to Avalanche, everyone is special and will melt your heart. Loving this new gentler Shadow.

This is a great read but intense! This really brings out emotions for these characters. Mostly Vixen! This girl has been through the wringer and just when she is feeling comfortable….WOOSH! There goes the rug from under her feet. Thank goodness she belongs to the Handmaidens as they always seem to have their ladies backs. Mix in people from a couple other groups and this becomes a full roster.

This also covers suspense, action and drama pretty well. Somehow with serious subject and the posturing of characters the author seems to be able to drop in humor as well. Nicely Done!

Have you ever started a book and found you forgot everything around you? That is exactly how this book went. Vixen is so much stronger than she even realizes. As she is trying to get her life back, more from her past is brought forward. While she is scared, her friend is in need of help from her and the Devil’s Handmaidens. Is she strong enough to do this? How much of her past is going to continue to haunt her dreams? Having said that, I give no spoilers. This author is amazing! Her series is a must read. It is fast paced and you find yourself on an emotional rollercoaster. I will advise you to read this series in order. As you don’t want to miss anything. The characters are all strong, independent and a group of women that have found a family of sisters who have each other’s back. The events are so realistic and you can’t do anything to help them. Okay you can! By reading this series! I hope you enjoy Vixen’s story as much as I did and do. I am looking forward to reading book 5.

This is the fourth book in the Devil’s Handmaiden’s MC series and this time the focus is on Vixen and Ironside. Whilst this can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the previous books first for more background information on the club and characters.
The characters are well-written, each with unique but similar backgrounds. The author did a good job in showing how this affects Vixen, her traumatic past coming to the forefront unexpectedly. She’s a very strong and caring woman, willing to face her own hell for a friend.
I felt like I could step into the world created by the author and live the adventures right alongside the characters. I enjoyed how Vixen and Ironside’s story played out, the chemistry was there from the start, as well as the character development each of them experienced. Separately the felt believable and likeable, together they seemed unstoppable.
I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series!

This is the 4th book in this series and it easily became one of my favorites. I have thoroughly enjoyed every book I have read by this author. This story is well written and engaging. Vixen’s past has come into her present by a phone call from a girl who needs help. Her past also involves a man she had feelings for and isn’t sure she can forgive him even though he says that he did what he did for her. He wanted her to have a good life and have to think about her past. There is a lot of emotion, danger, love, drama and so much more. I couldn’t put this book down until I knew what the outcome was going to be. I was on the edge of my seat for parts of the book. This is a must read. I highly recommend it.

Vixen (Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost Montana Chapter) by D. M. Earl – Review by Roxsanne Lesieur.

Vixen: (Devil's Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter)Vixen: by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Vixen is a fierce woman with a past which was filled with abuse, addiction, pain and suffering, but she managed to escape it, albeit she is still haunted by nightmares of her time being trafficked and used as a piece of property in a prostitution ring and she was fooled by the ringleader into thinking that he loved her and wanted to be with her, but it was all a lie until he could get what he wanted. While she was living in this hell, she made a friend, or as close to a friend you could in this torturous place, but she managed to keep in contact, sporadically though because she still had a long way to go before she could help those around her, but just as she is finally getting on her feet, this friend comes a calling and asks for her help to escape as well.

As things heat up and the other members of the MC are told what truly happened to her, she is devastated and is absolutely dreading having to return to that place and face her past, but thankfully she doesn’t have to, but in order for her friend to escape, the ladies have to call in help from the one person who she doesn’t want to see, the one person she trusted and he broke her heart, Ironside. When Ironside receives a call from the MC he helped in the past, he is shocked, but also his memories of the one he left behind return in full force, he has never forgotten her and he regrets leaving her like he did, but his job came first, so when this out of the blue call comes in, he expects that he is going to get his ass handed to him, but regardless, he will go and help again, even if it kills him.

As soon as Ironside arrives at the ranch, he is shocked at what he sees, the place is nothing like he expected and he definitely didn’t expect to see as many familiar faces as he does, but as soon as the introductions are made, they get down to business to rescue Vixen’s friends, but unfortunately, when one truth comes out, it is nearly enough to break apart any plans they may have made, emotions are high and words flung about, but hearts are also broken in the process, will there be enough bonds left for a rescue and removal of some human garbage, or will the past come storming in between all of these bonds and shatter them to pieces? This is another whirlwind of truths, lies, action and emotion as past and present collide to bring either hope or disaster, but to find which one wins out, you will have to read to the end.

Taz: (Devil's Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter)Taz: by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Taz is a young woman who is great with numbers and organisation, she will go above and beyond to make sure that everything financially, runs smoothly and that is a lot of responsibility, but this is all hidden under a tough exterior of leather, spikes and rainbow hair, not to mention, she is part of an all female MC. However, she has a softer side when it comes to her son, he is young, but he has had some bad experiences in his short life, so when Taz’s ex comes back into the picture and hurts him, he has just poked the bear and this mama bear will do anything to protect her young, as will all of the MC sisters behind her. Taz has worked too hard escaping her past to be beaten by it again and she is nowhere near as beaten and broken as when she was with him, but he has no idea how she has changed, so when he starts messing with her and the others she lives with, she is determined to stop letting her past haunt her and embrace the wildness which is inside her

The troops are called in and the Intruders MC heed the call, as well as some handy ex military personnel who will also do whatever they can to help, especially Travis, their Enforcer, he has a soft spot for Taz and her son, but she is reluctant to get into another relationship and end up heartbroken again, but her son is happy around him and when her past comes calling, he answers with a fierce determination to protect them and this is where Taz realises that Enforcer might just be in this for the long haul, unlike in her devastating past. Meanwhile things escalate with her ex and the people supporting him and as the danger increases and all their protective instincts kick in, her ex has no idea what he has let himself in for.

This is yet another rip roaring and action packed MC romance where the suspense will keep you on edge throughout as one problem after another needs solving and sanity, relationships and bonds are tested to breaking point, but will they break, or will a silver lining shine out from within the storm and can this unlikely group of mismatched souls work together to solve yet another dangerous problem?

Vixen is the fourth book in the Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter series by D.M Earl. I keep coming back to this series because I am invested in the beautifully broken and flawed characters that Ms. Earl has lovingly crafted. I know each time I pick up one of Ms. Earl’s stories that she will rip open my chest, toy with my heart, then brand it, before sewing me up again. Each book takes me on another emotional roller-coaster ride that leaves me reeling in parts.
The series follows the Devil’s Handmaidens and each instalment showcases one particular handmaiden/couple- and alongside them we have a recurring cast of characters that also play a part throughout the series. We get a real feel for the bonds and dynamics that have formed between these complex characters and that alone makes this series worth the read. But add in a MC romance, the romantic suspense kind- with plenty of deep emotion, vulnerability, depth, action, danger, possible triggers, darker themes, drama, chemistry, tension, intensity, tragedy, angst, second chances, taking a chance on love, and plenty of Ms. Earl’s signature touches, and this story becomes completely captivating.
But be warned, this isn’t a light and fluffy read- if you are expecting nothing but hearts and rainbows, then this probably isn’t the book for you. It has dark themes and the story is quite raw and gritty in parts. Ms. Earl WILL toy with your emotions- and you will LOVE every minute of it and want to go back for more. One book won’t be enough.
Glory’s story is next- can’t wait! Bring on Book #5!
Happy Reading…

Thank you, D.M. Earl!

Strength. Power. Family. The incredible D.M. Earl of course does it again as always. This time Vixen a road captain/tail gunner of the Devil’s Handmaidens painful history is brought to light. Told through multiple perspectives as this series is known for, we are taken on Vixen and Ironside’s journey.
Mira (Vixen) had a terrible upbringing in the foster system of Las Vegas, and eighteen the new adult was homeless and without a family when Juice found her. In her own words she was a naïve eighteen-year-old looking for a job and a home and Juice used that to his advantage. Taking her in telling her everything she wanted to hear before getting what he wanted and taking so much more. Lucas (Ironside) three years deep undercover into Juice’s human trafficking operation and working to take it down when he meets Mira. When the time came, he did what he thought was the right thing, he ghosted her giving her the chance to have a clean slate and start a new life with no reminders of the pain of her past. Only it’s now roughly four years later and they are somewhat forced to confront their own feelings for each other. Vixen receives a call from Poodles, a girl from her days with Juice, she is pregnant again and wants to keep the baby, she needs help getting out. While afraid Vixen knowns she is not alone so after taking it to Tink, Glory and Shadow a plan is made. Even if it’s a trap Vixen must help, they all do.
Will Mira and Lucas get out of their heads and let their hearts have all they have desired? Can they get Poodles out in time, safely? Unlike the previous books in this serious I loved the different twist that Vixen faced in this book. The previous books the female leads past came hunting them down, forcing them to open the door to the painful past they escaped. Mira chooses to open that door, risking it being a trap, risking the painful memories to control her emotions. Both Mira and Lucas are incredibly relatable and complex. They approach their feelings, fears, and truths the way anyone would. The growth the characters take throughout the story leaves you speechless as you lay victim to the pain, love, and understanding that they endure and overcome. As always, it’s also so amazing getting glimpses of the previous books’ characters’ growth over time with each new obstacle that they face. I especially loved seeing the Devil’s Handmaidens women through new eyes, Lucas knows them only by their MC names, learning Tink’s name and seeing Shadow and Panther being “soft” was truly a treat to read. I can’t wait for book 5, Glory, November 16, 2023. Finally, we get to learn more about the fierce VP.

To say that I have loved every single book in the Devil’s Handmaidens MC, Timber Ghost Montana Chapter series is the biggest understatement of the year. I enjoy this genre already, but this author has a way of going above and beyond with each new book that is published. This one happens to be my favorite so far! Though you can probably read it as a standalone, I wouldn’t chance it as it ties in well with the previous books in the series. This story will pull every single emotion you could possibly have from anger to fear, love to pride. Can Vixen learn to trust Ironside again, or will it be the biggest mistake of her life? There are wonderful steamy scenes, but there are also very tragic moments. Reading about these women always makes me feel a certain level of bad-to-the-bone. They are forces to be reckoned with, especially banded together. Please do yourself the biggest favor of the year and pick this up! It is worth every moment you’d otherwise be doing chores anyways.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Mira/Vixen is the one that got away from Ironside/Lucas. And he is the one that walked away without a trace. But these two get a second chance to figure things out when the past brings them together to save a friend from prostitution and human trafficking.

I felt more of a connection to these characters than those from book 3. However, I did enjoy the reappearance of Taz later in this story. The Devil’s Handmaiden MC is a group of rough and tough females, who know how to take care of themselves and those they love. The women in this series love their “sisters”. The men are an added bonus who are also rough and tough as well. I love how colorful the characters are…literally, tattoos, hair. skin. This is a well-rounded family.

The story line for Vixen is heartbreaking because it is tough to think that this could be a real-life situation. Thankfully Vixen and her friends get a happily ever after.

Here’s hoping the rest of the girls get their story!!

Shadow (Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost Montana Chapter) by D. M. Earl- Review by Roxsanne Lesieur.

Shadow (Devil's Handmaidens MC-Book Two)Shadow by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Shadow is the Enforcer for the Devil’s Handmaidens MC and she is as badass as they come, but as a child, Zoey went through more suffering, abuse and pain than any child should and that is what brought her to where she is now, thanks to Maggie and her family taking her in and showing her what safety and family should look like, but all those experiences also made her into the icy hearted woman she is today. Panther is a Navajo Indian with look as dark as sin and muscles to boot, he is also a horse rancher and from the minute he saw Shadow, he knew he needed to know more about her, including why she was getting a full skull tattooed onto her face and looking like it was nothing, but fate would lead them apart for a while, but when they reconnect it is more business than pleasure.

To the outside, she has no fear and instead puts the fear of God into anyone who gets on her bad side, including the members of the MC which she founded with the Prez, the sisters who she now protects and their families with fierce passion, but when she sees Panther again, she is not ready for the emotions which would come along with it. It turns out that he has a similar mission to them and when the opportunity arises for her to help save some innocents from experiencing what she did, she is all in, however, what she doesn’t expects is how close to her past the mission really is, that is until it comes back around and the danger lurks around every corner.

As they work more closely together, Shadow cannot help but be drawn to Panther and his mysterious past which has created his present, it both calms, enrages, frustrates and illicit emotions she tried to bury to keep herself safe, but he is persistent and passionate, but more understanding that she believes she deserves and when things go south trying to help these innocent youths, she knows that she cannot hide any longer, but will she be able to take that leap of faith and find something good in the evil surrounding them, or will she be drawn into a darkness which she won’t be able to escape from? This is another great MC romance with one hell of a bite where lines blur and past, present and future collide to bring a journey which will leave your heart racing and stopping all at once as this actin packed, emotional rollercoaster plays out in front of you.

Maggie, or “Tink” as she is known is the President of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC and she takes pride in her position, but it isn’t easy trying to run an all female MC as well as legitimate businesses so that she can follow her passion and help those in need on the side, but she is not alone in her endeavours, she has the rest of the members and prospects at her side, as well as her parents and all the members of her fathers MC as well. Ellington is an ex Navy SEAL with a lot of baggage in his past, but he takes the opportunity to start afresh in the middle of nowhere in Montana where he helps a friend to set up a ranch, but what he doesn’t realise is that a feisty woman is about to enter his life and it will throw him off his game.

Maggie and Ellington have run into each other a few times and after a not so subtle push from her best friend, she gives him her phone number and they decide to see where it takes them and it soon becomes a little hot and heavy between them, but with all her responsibilities, Maggie is a little reluctant to let him in, but soon she doesn’t have a choice when she welcomes the latest group she is helping to her ranch settle in. One day, the firecracker that is Maggie rides into his life asking for some help, as security has been breached and trouble has come calling, so Ellington lets the others know and speeds to her and help, but what he finds when he gets there makes him realise just what Maggie does and he will do anything to help.

Maggie is shocked at what she finds and now has to deal with even more being piled on her plate and this time it is personal, ghosts from her past are coming back to haunt her and her family and she doesn’t know what to do, so she calls in for some help from her family and sisters in the MC and they all agree, even if they don’t know the whole story, but she knows she has to get it all out and the truth in some ways sets her free and in others brings everyone else into danger with her. What she doesn’t expect is Ellington being with her every step of the way and helping her sort out the mess from her past, but can he keep her sanity from unravelling and away from harm, or will he lose out on the one thing which is helping him with his demons as well? This is a fabulous MC romance full of spicy action, profanity and action, as well as badass women and how the bonds which go deeper than blood come together in this whirlwind of a suspenseful race against time.

Vixen: (Devil's Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter)Vixen: by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Vixen is Book Four in The Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost Montana Chapter series. Each book in the series builds on the one prior to it while introducing new characters and telling their story. The characters overlap in each book, so I do recommend reading the previous books in the series first. Plus, the series is amazing so I feel they are a must read. This book centers around the character of Mira, or Vixen as she is now called, who has received a call from a girl from her past asking for her help. The girl was left behind after Vixen managed to free herself from a human trafficking ring years ago. Vixen was one of many women who was viciously abused, exploited, and assaulted by a man named Juice. Juice is vicious, cruel, and will take what he wants. When the women in his trafficking ring became pregnant, he took their babies and sold them. Mira/Vixen is one of many women who has no idea where her baby is at or what happened. Vixen now must decide what to do and how to protect herself and her friend while freeing her from Juice’s sex trafficking ring. Her Devil’s Handmaidens have her back, and so do some unlikely others, one of which she never thought she would see again.

Enter Lucas, or Ironside, as he is referred to, who is an undercover FBI Agent. He helped to free Vixen from Juice’s trafficking ring. Ironside and Vixen had a brief relationship until he suddenly ghosted her and broke her heart. Now he has reentered her world and Vixen is uncertain if she can trust him. She must decide if she can forgive him and accept his help. Ironside has his reasons for disappearing and did so to protect Vixen, but he must try to get her to understand that. He is back now and is determined to protect the woman he loves at all costs. Vixen soon learns that there is far more to the story than she ever imagined. Now it is up to them and their friends to save all the women in Juice’s sex trafficking ring.

This is yet another amazing book by this talented author. I love this series and all the strong, fierce, kick-butt women in the Devil’s Handmaidens. Each woman has overcome a traumatic past and risen from the ashes to become a force to be reckoned with. Mira/Vixen is no exception to that. She was swept off her feet by Juice as he lured her into his world. When he tried making her do things, she did not want to do he viciously assaulted her until she obeyed him. Having freed herself from that part of her past she thought that she could leave it behind. She now must prove how strong she really is as her life comes full circle and she comes face-to-face with her past. This book had action, drama, suspense, danger, lust, passion, and chemistry. It also contains things that may be triggers for some with the sensitive topics of abuse, assault, and human trafficking. I highly recommend this book!

This is the 4th book in the Devil’s Handmaidens MC, Timber-Ghost Montana chapter and OMG this author knows how to write a story that grips you and doesn’t let go. These books can be read as a standalone however once you read one you will want to read more. All these MC romance stories focus on beautiful but broken women and while the steamy scenes are hot and intimate it is the author’s writing and development of the women that really bring these stories to life and make them captivating.
The sister this book focuses on is Vixen. Vixen has had a really traumatic start to life. She was part of the trafficking ring where she was used and abused. She found herself becoming an addict and being used for prostitution, but it gets worse when she falls pregnant, her baby is taken away from her and she doesnt know what has happened to it There is not a day that goes by when she doesn’t think about her baby. While she was in that situation she meets Lucas ‘Ironsides’ Dombranski. As she starts to trust him and believes he is her way to safety he leaves her without a word.

Fast forward 5 years later and Vixen is now part of the MC, a friend from her past contacts her needing help and a way out. Vixen knows what she is going through and wants to help but will she be able to cope with going back into a situation that almost killed her before?
To make matters worse the MC calls the one person Vixen doesn’t want to see in to help her.
When Lucas walks back into her life, after he abandoned Vixen she doesn’t know if she can trust him and all the hurt she buried comes to the surface, however there was a reason for his disappearance that Vixen wasn’t aware of. I can completely understand her feelings of betrayal and hurt when Lucas leaves her to the mercy of her abusive captors.

Now they need to work together to rescue the women who need help. But with the danger of Vixen’s captor lurking in the background wanting to destroy her once and for all, Lucas puts himself forward to protect the woman he loved.
What happens as they work together to save the other women? Can the bridges be rebuild between them? Can Vixen ever forgive him for abandoning her all those years ago?

This story is a dark, gripping and extremely emotional read which is just what i expect from this author. The romance is steamy and intense which is a perfect fit for these women, they love as hard as they fight to protect.
There are definately triggers in this book for some readers which they need to be aware of.
I have to say Vixen is definately one of my favourite characters. Even after everything she has gone through and how destroyed she was, the fact that she has come back and build herself stronger and the fact she is ready to put herself back into the situation that nearly destroyed her to save others really made me love her all the more.
This is another great addition to this series. This author never fails to impress me and leaves me wanting more.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. This book is part of a series that has strong women and maybe even a little broken. I highly suggest reading the other books in this series to help your enjoyment of this author’s writing skills and characters. This is one of my favorite stories yet in this series. I found it to be well written and hard to put down. It is a romance story that is full of drama and keeps me engaged to the end. I enjoyed how the author used details to make the story realistic and really just pop. The characters are not only connectable but determined and well rounded. There is great growth with them as well as the plot which made the story easy to read. This is a story you don’t want to miss out on for sure. It is a must read that I highly recommend.

This book may cause triggers for some.
WOW! The next instalment of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter series is here! Vixen is the fourth great addition. Each book just keeps on getting better and better. They can be read as standalones, but I encourage you to start at the beginning because you will be missing out.
I absolutely love this series and have fallen in love with these wonderful strong, kicka*$e yet flawed and broken women that are a tight knit community, they are family not of blood. DM has cleverly weaved the good the bad and the ugly that is yet again dark, gritty and raw. Vixen is just as much a captivating and gripping read as the other books.
Vixen only just managed to survive her past of horrors now it is that past that is threatening to unravel everything she has found. Having been a victim of human trafficking, abuse, and trauma it is that one place that she never wanted to go to again. However, to help a friend escape the horrors she will. Will she be able to trust the one who broke her heart.
When Ironside is called will he let her go back to that awful place by herself? Will he stand right beside the women he loves? Will he be the one she leans on?
Vixen is an emotionally charged journey that is full of turmoil, secrets, lies, danger, action, suspense, drama, angst, and tension.
I can’t wait for more of this series. I can’t say enough about D.M.’s exceptional storytelling and absolutely amazing characters.
Download it today and hang on for the bumpy ride.

My mind was blown in so many ways in this book. I do not have much that will cause triggers but this story was an eye opener. There were certain sections of the book that broke my heart and tore me apart.

Vixen is our main character, she has survived abuse of all kinds, including being forced into drugs. With the help of her MC sisters she has been saved from abuse and has been straight for a while now. Her past is coming the BANG on the door and hard. When a girl from her past calls for help, things get complicated for her and the MC. This call puts everyone’s life at risk.

Lucas is an undercover FBI agent who helped get Vixon away from “Juice”. The worst of the worst. When he gets a call to head to Montana, he doesn’t think twice.

Please check trigger warnings before reading this phenomenal book. The author takes you on a ride you will never forget.

This is another fabulous entry into this series. This author can write some excellent books that will hit every emotional button you have. Vixen’s past comes back calling and the ladies have her back, also with a lost love that comes to help. Oh, this book took me on a journey that had me smiling, crying, you name it. Each book just has its own story that sets it apart yet makes this the best MC series I’ve ever read. I love reading about this MC because there is always good somehow overcoming the bad. I couldn’t give you a favorite because these ladies are all my favorites. You should read the whole series. I’m looking forward to reading Glory.

This MC story is book 3 in the Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter series. While it has a good story line it is not my favorite. For some reason I just wasn’t feeling these characters. With that being said, I love how all the characters from the previous stories are still involved. The Club is more like a family and the “sisters” protect each other no matter what. I love that. This story, like the rest of the series, shows that family isn’t necessarily those related by blood.

Taz and her son, Teddy, are in trouble because the past never stays buried. With the help of her MC family and the Intruders MC, the past will have their hands full!

Recommend reading this series from the beginning and I am looking forward to what comes next for this tough group of women!

I love being back with the Devil’s Handmaidens MC, and yet again I was hooked from page one and literally could not put the book down! This is Mira’s story, known as Vixen and like the other MC members she has a tragic and traumatic past involving trafficking and prostitution. When a friend from her past needs help the fierce and fearless Vixen, along with the MC help her escape, even though it means facing her demons and the horrors from her past. It also means asking the man who broke her heart, Lucas Dombranski, known as Ironside for help, but she’s unsure if she can rely on him. This gripping read is full of drama, tragedy, suspense, angst and of course plenty of romance, all of which kept me happily turning the pages late into the night! I was once again transported into the Devil’s Handmaidens MC’s world, as it came vividly to life through the descriptive narrative. The well defined and developed characters, despite their pasts and their flaws are likeable and relatable, and I felt engaged with the main character of this story, Vixen throughout. The chemistry between her and Ironsides sizzled off the page and I enjoyed ‘catching up’ with past characters. I love the realistic banter between the members of the MC, and I look forward to returning to the Devil’s Handmaidens MC again soon in the next book.

She’s as fierce and fearless as they come…

Being pulled back in is the absolute last thing that I want,
Or need.
After all, the demons and horrors of back then nearly destroyed me,
Broke me,
And killed me.

But my friend needs me,
She needs out,
Away from the trafficking and prostitution,
An escape I know all too well.

The Devil Handmaidens are always on my side,
Supporting me,
Trusting me,
And protecting me.

I just need one more person on my side,
The strongest, bravest man I know,
The one who shattered my heart,
Left me high and dry.
Can I rely on Ironside,
Or will he break me all over again?

Taz (Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter Book 3) by D.M. Earl – Review by Moriah Venable

Taz: (Devil's Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter)Taz: by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I want to start by saying that I absolutely love the cover for this!

Taz is a Mom who kicks a** and takes name especially when it comes to her son, Teddy.

She is the bookkeeper for the Handmaiden’s. When a white supremacy group starts making trouble and the past starts to catch up with her, she finds a family that help protect her and Teddy.

I was not expecting to be so engrossed and captivated by this book as I was. I knew it may pull at my heartstrings but I wasn’t prepared by how much nor how much I would love the characters.

I am not a big fan of different POV chapters but it works very well.

I read that there is another book scheduled to be released in September. I am looking forward to reading it.

Taz (Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter Book 3) by D.M. Earl. This is such a good series and I loved this book. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the others first. Its the story of Taz who is a smart, independent woman who is the accountant for the Devil’s Handmaiden. She also has a son Teddy, that is autistic and he is her world. When he begins to get bullied she turns to the Devil’s Handmaidens MC, her friend Travis “the Enforcer” Milford and his friends from the Intruder to help. They rally around Teddy and protect him from the bullies. As Travis and Taz begin to spend more and more time together they begin to get feelings for one another. Taz also has some baggage from her past that comes back to haunt her in this story. Read this story to find out if Taz and Travis can make their relationship work even with all the factors around trying to break them up.
