Taz (Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter Book 3) by D.M. Earl – Review by Jenni Bishop

Taz: (Devil's Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter)Taz: by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a ride!
TAZ is the third instalment in DM Earl’s Devil’s Handmaidens all female MC: Timber Ghost Montana. I was so excited to see the next book was out and jumped on that straightaway. It is one of my favourite series.
There is a large cast of characters and a lot to keep up with, but DM has masterfully woven it all together to give us something that is raw, dark and gritty making it a gripping and captivating read.
These amazing characters are flawed and broken and have been through so much but with all that they are a family of choice.
Taz is as colourful and sassy as her hair. She was on the run but found a home but that is all now in jeopardy when her past comes knocking. We see the women of the MC and others who answered the call put through their paces with this one with white supremacists and corrupt politicians.
It is jam packed with danger, action, suspense, suspense, drama, angst, and tension.
Hopefully Taz and Travis can survive the storm with all the secrets and lies.
I look forward to reading so much more from this series.

Taz: (Devil's Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter)Taz: by D.M. Earl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Taz is a member of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC, she is good at numbers and when she notices money missing from the Tink’s account it begins to unravel into something more. Her son is attacked from the cruel man from her past and while all this is simmering in the background, her secret relationship with Travis “Enforcer” Milford becomes something more. Taz’s focus though is her son and protecting him at all costs, especially since her ex doesn’t seem to want to go away.

It is unusual to find a book with a female MC which is refreshing. I thought Taz was a strong woman who got fooled in her earlier life. I loved the interaction she has with her son. Travis and Taz had terrific chemistry even when they disagree. Definitely going to go back and read the other two books.

Taz: (Devil's Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter)Taz: by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Taz is Book Three in the Devil’s Handmaidens MC Series. The series focuses on strong, feisty, smart, bad arse women who do not back down from a challenge. The women are part of a motorcycle club, and each has their own backstory that has led them to be part of the club. This story focuses on Taz, who was running with her young son Teddy from her abusive ex when she ran, literally, into Shadow. Shadow offered her and her son protection and the club took her under their wing. Taz first became a prospect, and then a member of the Devil’s Handmaidens and now is their accountant. Taz will do anything to protect her son Teddy from being hurt and so will the members of the club. When Taz’s ex comes back into the picture and enlists the help of a white supremacist club Taz and the Devil’s Handmaidens enlist the help of a male MC club known as the Intruders. Together they fight to protect Teddy and take down the white supremacist group.

This was another superbly written book in this series with a strong cast of characters and an amazing storyline that pulled me in from the very beginning. Taz was a colorful character with her multi colored hair and looked tough on the exterior but was a bit of a nerd deep down. When it came to protecting her son, she was fierce. The Devil’s Handmaidens and the Intruders were made up of strong men and women who believed in protecting their loved ones and bringing justice to those who deserved it. Travis, AKA the Enforcer, was willing to protect Teddy at all costs. This book was full of drama, action, suspense, danger, angst, intrigue, and twists and turns that will keep you riveted until the end. I highly recommend this book!

I thought Tink and Shadow took the title of Badass. Taz has been through some bad stuff and had her world turned upside down. Her little boy, Timothy, who has autism, is my little hero. I have not laughed so hard. I don’t know where the inspiration for him came from but raising an autistic little boy myself, you hit that spot on. The weenie conversation had me spitting coffee and falling off my chair. Taz and Enforcer have a lot to overcome but they are one couple that I found myself rooting for. Those two deserve peace and love. Old faces came to visit. Both MC’s were involved in the story along with the Grimm Wolves. Action, drama, suspense, romance, and a bit of Montana Militia. You’ll be on the edge of your seat and have to read the whole book in one sitting. I love this whole dang series. The author writes it so well. It can be graphic but it so well written and the characters are so relatable. One of the best MC series around. This is my favorite book in the series yet.

Taz: (Devil's Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter)Taz: by D.M. Earl

Another gripping story featuring the women from the Devil’s Handmaidens MC, Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter. As usual I was hooked from start to finish by this MC romantic suspense, which is full of drama, making it hard to put the book down! The storyline focuses on the Clubs Treasurer, Taz with her wild and colourful hair. Although she comes across as the shy nerdy one of the MC, if you mess with her family you get her rough and hard side. So when her ex comes back into her life putting son Teddy in danger, she’s determined to protect him. Even if that means enlisting the help of Travis “Enforcer” Milford, and his brothers from the Intruders.
Both the Devil’s Handmaidens and the Intruders work together to go up against their enemies, who don’t stand a chance. Especially when it also becomes personal for Enforcer, who will do anything to keep Taz and her son safe. Once again I was fully immersed in the Devil’s Handmaidens world, which is brought vividly to life through the well defined characters and the descriptive narrative of the setting. I love the fact that it’s an all woman’s MC which is unusual in novels, and I love all the unique and quirky characters who are all individuals. The storyline does get a little dark, but I loved being back with the Devil’s Handmaidens and look forward to returning to them soon!

Taz (Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter Book 3) by D.M. Earl
Genre – MC, Romantic Suspense

Don’t mess with Taz’s family, you won’t live to regret it.

I may look rough and hard.
But looks can be deceiving.
Sure, my hair is colorful and wild.
However, my penchant for numbers and organization
Has me bordering on the quiet, shy, nerdy type.

But when my son is concerned,
I can get as wild as they come.
After all, my son is my life.

When my ex comes back with a vengeance,
I’ll do anything in my power to protect him–
Even enlist the help of Travis “Enforcer” Milford.
He and his brothers from the Intruders,
Coupled with my sisters in the Devil’s Handmaidens,
Our enemies don’t stand a chance.

Now, between the two clubs their appearance tells it all.
The men are strong, rugged, handsome, and powerful,
While the women are beautiful, smart, and cunning.
And Enforcer would do anything for me and my son.

Believe me, if anyone hurts that boy,
They’ll regret the day they messed with us.

Devil’s Handmaidens MC is a multi-author world focusing on a badass all-female MC with various chapters/locations written by some of your favorite MC authors.

WARNING: The Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC is a Romantic Suspense series filled with drama, a bit of angst, maybe some tragedy, and women who are bad a$$. These characters are flawed, some may be broken. If you’re looking for a safe, sweet romance with nice heroes and heroines who are perfect all the time, this is NOT the series for you.

I love MC books and this is a new to me author so I was excited to jump in. I liked this story but wished we could have gotten more on the MC itself but that’s me being greedy.
I actually loved the strength Ava had in this and her growth in a short amount of time. Reaper was just what she needed.
I hope we get to see more of this crew!

Reaper
By: Bianca Lee Ward

I love a really well written Motorcycle Club book and series. Reaper definitely delivers on this. Reaper is the president of the War Brothers MC. Ava is in an absolutely awful marriage. Reaper loves her at first sight. However, she is absolutely enmeshed in this marriage. When they meet again, she is not the girl he met at first. Their relationship builds over the course of the book. You watch Ava work to heal herself after her marriage and Reaper works to help show her how to trust again. This was so well written and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

This story between Ava and Reaper was a tough one to read. Reaper meets Ava at one of his WC brother’s wedding, and he instantly feels a connection with her. To his dismay, he finds out that she’s married, but he thinks that something is very wrong, and he reluctantly lets her go. One year later Ava comes back into his life, and he has found out that Ava’s husband has been abusing her. He won’t have it. With his experience as being a special forces sniper, he uses it to make sure that she doesn’t have to go back him. Ava’s story is heartbreaking in the beginning but as the story progresses she gets stronger and more confident. I love the progression between the two and the entire time I was rooting for them and hoping that things would get better when things would seem dismal. I loved this book and I can’t wait to read the other stand-alone books in this series!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This book is so good!!! This is Book 1 of the War Brothers MC and I am already loving the characters and wanting more. This story of Ava and Reaper…..wow!!

Ava and Reaper meet by a chance encounter, at Ava’s sisters wedding. There was instant spark and you can sense it….but Ava was married to someone else. Reaper knows at that moment he wanted Ava but could not have her. A year later, Ava is broken and bruised…. her sister rescues her…and since that rescue, Ava and Reaper’s lives are entwined once again. Ava is scared that her husband will be coming for her at every turn, all Reaper wants to do is protect Ava at any cost…but will Reaper be there for Ava when she needs him the most?

Deceit, drama, anger, spark and sizzle….this story had it all. Please be warned on some triggers of abuse….but the author did a fantastic job being real but mindful..While I would love to shake Ava’s parents because they angered me so much……can I also say I loved Conan the dog!!! My heart!!! This story was fantastic and I cannot wait until I get more War Brothers MC and Bomber’s story!

Her husband is a bad guy, he is abusive and an Alcoholic. Ava ends up contacting her sister who is connected to the club and that is how she and reaper collide. This time he is determined to keep her and not let her go. Such a really good read, definitely going to read the next book.

This was my first read by Bianca Lee Ward, but it is certainly not going to be the last. Reaper is the first installment of the War Brothers MC series, and it’s off to a great start! I really enjoyed the amount of action, chemistry and steam that comes with many MC stories. It starts off a little slow, but don’t toss it aside because it really picks up. Once you get a bit invested, you’ll breeze through it and want even more! I think the author did great on the flow of the story even though it starts off slow. It may just have been an off day for me, but it absolutely captivated me after a while, and now I can’t wait for the second book in the series. If you love the dangerous, steamy action of the MC genre, you will fall in love with this one!

A captivating MC romance which had me hooked from page one. Reaper is the president of the War Brothers Motorcycle Club, and when Ava, the one women he’s ever wanted, turns up at his clubhouse seeking refuge from her abusive husband he’s not going to let her go again. Reaper is angered by the bruises on Ava’s face but also by the fear in her eyes, however, as an ex special forces sniper he’s used to hunting down evil men. Reaper avoids relationships due to the wounds he has left over from his sniper days, which are more than skin deep, but when he finds Ava in his bedroom he’s determined not to make the same mistake twice.
He let her go once before because she was married and so didn’t belong to him, but now she does. As Reaper and Ava’s relationship develops they have to deal with her dangerous husband, the jealous women in the club, and then an enemy the MC didn’t see coming. This is a slow burn romance which introduces us to Reaper and Ava, who’s chemistry really comes across in the narrative. The storyline is full of drama, suspense and romance whilst dealing with the difficult subject of domestic violence sensitively. The descriptive narrative really brought the world of the War Brothers MC, and it’s members vividly to life, making me feel immersed in the story and engaged with the characters. I look forward to the other members getting their own stories.

At the wedding for one of his War Brothers MC brothers, Reaper sees the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with, Ava. Ava though is married and as much Reaper senses that not all is as it seems, Reaper lets her go. A year later Ava has contacted her sister who is married to Axle and needs help, she has been beaten and looking to get away from her marriage. Reaper lets her stay with the MC but he also takes his time to earn her trust, could she accept him in her life when she is ready to move on?

I thought this was a great beginning to a new series. Action packed, great characters for future books. Ava grows strong in this book and takes charge of her life, had some funny moments too.

I love it when I find a new authors work to read and I was so impressed by this book! MC stories are one of my favourite to read, I love an alpha male and the MC alpha males always seem to be the best – super protective and loyal! Reaper was no exception to this rule – I knew as soon as I started to read about him I was going to love his character. There was such a great connection between him and Ava and I was completely rooting for them the whole way through. I liked that their romance was a slow burn one I think it suited them. Where can I start. I absolutely adore MC romance story’s. The mixture of strong protective men with the element of danger is always a winner for me. This romance is a slow burn which I enjoyed because it gave me the opportunity to get to know the characters in a more deeper way. And with everything that Ava went through it makes sense that Reaper wouldn’t want to rush things or make a move to quick.
One thing I did feel a bit strange about is it feels like the second book as Ava and Reaper meet at Axle and Elena’s wedding so maybe we will get their story at a later date.
As with all good MC romances our hero has a back story and Reaper is no exception, he has scars from past relationships and keeps his distance from women until he meets Ava. This is one woman he is prepared to protect at all costs.
Ava fled to the MC club after her husband abused her. Battered and broken physically, emotionally and mentally she is trying to rebuild her life but her husband is always lurking in the shadows.
Is she really save at the MC Club? Will anyone there care if her husband finds her? And why does she feel drawn to and safe when she is with Reaper.

Amazing story and I can’t wait to read more from this MC Club

This is the first novel I have read in a long time that has titles on each chapter. I did not realize that the books I previously read did not have titles on the chapters until I started reading this one and I cannot believe how much I miss that! Just something that small and insignificant that made a big difference in my reading.

Reaper and Ava are two amazing characters. The strength and resilience that Ava has is inspiring. I work with victims of crime every day and Ava’s domestic violence situation does not go unnoticed. The victim blaming makes me irate and is something I deal with daily. This is not your standard MC book, but I still really enjoyed it. It was fast paced and easy to read. I highly recommend!

This high adrenaline series starter is fantastic. There are so many characters that you are introduced to that you almost can’t pick a favorite. I can’t wait to read Bomber’s second chance at love.

Ava is a good girl. She has always done what her parents wanted. She married the man they picked out for her. She lived with his abuse for years. Ava’s husband slowly took everything away from her. When Ava decided she had enough, she ran to the only place she could think of, her sister and the MC where her brother-in-law was a member.

Reaper was the president of War Brothers MC. It and his brothers were what he called home. He protected both at all costs. Reaper had seen her at Elena’s wedding. They shared a brief moment before the husband came over and interrupted. Now she, Ava, was at his clubhouse, beaten, bruised, shell-shocked, and seeking refuge from the husband. This meant danger. The husband wanted to get her back. That didn’t seem to be all that was brewing on the horizon.

There are many unanswered questions that I am sure are part of the series story line. I can’t wait to find out how they develop as this series goes on. I am a sucker for a good MC series. Looks like I might have my next MC family. I will throw on my cut and ride along! Fabulous start!!

I enjoyed the details that the author used to make the story realistic. I had no problems picturing myself in their world This is a fast paced, hard to put down story that you don’t want to miss. I enjoyed the suspense added to the romance in this story and made it even better. What will happen to Ava and will she get her happily ever after this time around? Reaper is the first book in the War Brothers MC series by Bianca Lee Ward. It is a slow burn MC romance- a bit of a romantic suspense with drama, danger, action, violence, chemistry, sizzle, MC culture/lifestyle, brothers-in-arms, friendship, family, banter, humour, emotion, and more. The story does contain sensitive topics that could trigger some readers: themes such as manipulation, mental health issues, domestic violence, trauma, sociopathic behaviour, violence, and abuse, to name a few- so if you have any of these triggers, then this probably isn’t the book for you.
This is a short engrossing read that was a little slow to get going, but once I got in the groove, I was hooked and easily finished the book in a couple of hours. Although I did feel like the ending felt rushed. But these didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of the book.
We meet Reaper who is the President of the War Brothers MC. He is a battle-scarred veteran who carries quite a lot of baggage. He has been besotted with Ava since he first met her- but she belonged to someone else. Now, she needs help, which is he’s happy to provide. Soon, the sparks fly, and things get complicated- and so the story takes an intriguing turn. Add some danger, tension, and steam- and we get an engrossing read.
Bring on Book #2- Bomber….. Looks set to be another great read.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Bianca Lee Ward!

I have always loved the “second chance” trope and this feels a bit like that. Ava meets Reaper at a wedding, but Ava is married already. To an abusive husband. Man, the story just takes off. I was hooked and stayed up way too late reading. I loved the secondary characters as well. Can’t wait to read Bomber’s story. Loved the world the author created. Great job with the emotions of Ava’s story especially at the beginning. I was on the edge of my seat in one scene!

Reaper is the first book in the War Brothers MC Series and is a MC Romance that is fast paced and hard to put down until you finish. This is a new to me author and I’m definitely interested in what else they’ve written. I’m a sucker for MC Romance and this one checked all the boxes, bad boy bikers, drama, revenge, action Romance and more. Ava and Reaper meet at Ava’s sister’s wedding and the moment he seen her he felt something he’d never felt before. He knew something seemed off about her husband couldn’t shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen. Ava ends up at the War Brothers MC with her sister to stay for a bit while she figures things out. You don’t want to miss what happens next, I highly recommend reading this book. I don’t want to give anything away. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series. I’m really hoping they all get there own book.

A slow burn romance with not your ordinary MC characters that you get in most other reads. It was a quick, but good read. I did not want to put it down. I needed to know what would happen next for Ava. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and cannot wait to pick up the next book in the series.

It focuses on the relationship between Reaper and Ava. Reaper is the President of the War Brothers MC. Ava’s sister Elena is getting married to one of the MC members, Axle. It is at this wedding that the pair have a brief encounter. It is not until a year later when Ava is brought to the clubhouse covered in bruises by her husband that she is running from that the pair meet again. Already let go once Reaper won’t let that happen again.
