My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Pippa wanted nothing more than to protect her child and herself. Pippa feared her ex-husband, knowing how volatile he could be. So she did the only thing she could do, she ran. She ran and escaped Stan, but the fear of him catching up to her is something she thought would never leave her.
One day, Pippa receives a call, saying that Stan is in jail. Pippa feels such glee that she gives into her desires and has a night of passion with a handsome gladiator she met at a Halloween masquerade party.
No names, no contact, no information on the other person; just a night filled with passion. And unbeknownst to both of them, from that night of passion was born a child, a boy named Bryce, their son.
After Bryce turns 2, Stan is out of prison, and he finds Pippa and Bryce, and kidnaps both of them.
Thankfully Diesel, (our handsome gladiator) is a Navy Seal, and was already on his way to find Pippa after finding out she has a son, and the child is his.

Sharing His Nanny (Forever Our Girl Book 2) by Tori Chase – Review by Michaela Massie

Sharing His Nanny: A Curvy Girl Reverse Harem RomanceSharing His Nanny: A Curvy Girl Reverse Harem Romance by Tori Chase
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I definitely related to Stella, our main girl. Growing up as anything larger than a size 8, and the fashion choices have always been abysmal at best. I love that that is the reason that Stella wanted to start her own fashion line, and created a need in her to create clothing that looks stunning on the curvy body. But back to the storyline!
Stella is working her butt off to keep creating her fashion line, but comes into a crisis when she has a falling out with her only big investor (who just so happened to be her kind of boyfriend -once you read it, you’ll understand why I say “kind of”).
Now, our dear Stella is at a loss, and is in desperate need of a new investor.
So, she contacts her step-mother, and ends up at a beach house with 3 VERY handsome men, and a child she is to play nanny to, and in-turn, she’ll have the money for her clothing line.
So what happens when you put a beautiful and stunning woman with 3 very hot men in a beach house in Miami? You get SPICE. I don’t want to ruin the book for anyone by giving away too much, but this book is amazing! It has a great storyline and characters. I promise you it’s absolutely worth the read!!

My Pearl Heart by J.N. Sheats – Review by Michaela Massie

My Pearl HeartMy Pearl Heart by J.N. Sheats
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Woooow! The first page is fiery hot and definitely pulled me in! We start off with a spicy make out session with a stranger (a very hot and handsome stranger, but stranger none-the-less) on a counter-top in her best friend’s house.
It all started with a call from Cadence, Jasmine (our loveable and fiery main character’s) best friend and business partner, feigning an emergency in the early hours of the morning. So our girl grabs a bag and runs out the door in her pajamas to go to Cadence’s house to help fix this “emergency.” Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t a real emergency, and Jasmine lets it go. She currently has bigger fish to fry and needs to figure out what exactly is really going on and why there is a gorgeous man standing in the kitchen when she knows Cadence isn’t seeing anybody.
Jasmine and Cadence run an event planning business, and Cadence wants to use the business to plan her spur of the moment engagement with her fiancé-to-be, James Conner. The same man who gave Jasmine the best kiss she’s ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Also part of the prestigious Conner family, who was practically royalty in the area.
So what’s a girl to do when she’s so attracted to her best friend’s fiance, (and he’s even more attracted to her?)
Read this book and find out!!! I promise you it’s worth the read, and it won’t be the ending you expected!

This beautiful and twisted story takes place in Portugal in 1780. It is an intoxicatingly slow burn romance with so very many twists and turns.

Griffin Maxwell is your typical Victorian English businessman.. A man who feels he is entitled to everything in his path, even a fighting widow’s heart.
I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but I highly suggest you take the time to read this gorgeous story!!

Let me start out by saying that this is a precious book, and I whole heartedly enjoyed every moment of it. This book revolves around the romance of Katie and Chase, and their history together and getting a second chance.
Katie had big dreams after high school, and left her small town, her friends and family, and the boy she loved to follow them in the big city, being too stubborn to ever look back. Now, she finds herself visiting her hometown for a wedding last minute, and the bride surprises her with her first love as her date.
Chase fought hard to forget the pain he felt when Katie left, but as soon as he saw her, he knew his heart wasn’t as hardened to her as he had hoped. Katie thought she had buried her feelings for Chase at the bottom of her heart, but as soon as she saw him, she melted. This is the story of their lives crossing again after 10 years apart, and a love that lasts through the years.
This wholesome and heartwarming book reminds us that there are second chances in life, with friends, family, and sometimes, even in romance.
