My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book I have read from this author and I was hooked. I absolutely love a good musician romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the fourth book of the Moore Family Saga. I have only read this story and now I have to go back from the start. I could not help but to fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. It only took me a couple of hours to devour this amazing story.

Bella is finally marrying the man of her dreams. She is so happy that she has her family by her side in Scotland. Bella is so excited to be Mile’s wife. She quickly realized with his ex’s, crazy fans and his tour that this new life was going to be hard. Bella starts to feel like she is losing herself in this crazy new life. She is starting to self doubt herself due to all the people around her. Will Bella be able to find her way in this new life or will she realize that she is not cut out for this life at all no matter the cost?

5 out of 5 stars

I have read all the books in the Moore Family saga and I have loved them all, but I think this book is my favorite even if I hated the ending. I can’t wait to read the next part in this series. The characters are amazing, and the plot is awesome.

Finally, the wedding of the century is here Bella Wahlberg and Miles Moore are in Scotland surrounded by family. What could go wrong?

With Miles chaotic fans, and his ex and a series of tours thrown in, she soon wonders if she’s ready for everything that being the wife of a superstar entails.
Their happiness is sometimes overshadowed by doubt and outside forces that wish to tear them apart, but when she becomes pregnant months later, Bella couldn’t be more overjoyed. But how does Miles feel about becoming a father?

This is a great book/series and you need to read them in order to know what’s going on. I highly recommend this book/series….

A Moore Affair (Moore Family Saga Book 4) by Michele Sims is another well written story in the series and the characters are enjoyable. I suggest reading the other books before this one so you have a full understanding of all the characters involved. No, it is not necessary but it will help. Bella is finally marrying the man of her dreams and she knows he is a lot to take on and his past, but she hopes she is up to the task because love has no bounds.

Four Stars

A Moore Affair is the fourth book in the Moore FamilySaga by Michele Sims. This is the first book I have read by Michele Sims, I couldn’t couldn’t resist the cover of this book, so beautiful. However I’m now going back and reading the first three books in this series. This book flowed well and the characters are well developed and relatable. Bella and Ari have quite the chemistry and this book is full of action, adventure and passion. The twist and turns had me reading long after my bedtime. I just couldn’t put it down until the last page. I can’t wait to go back and read the first three books in this series and look forward to any upcoming books by Michele Sims.

Bella Wahlberg couldn’t be happier! She’s about to marry her performer turned music entrepreneur, Miles Moore AKA “Ari” in Scotland accompanied by family. However, Bella’s ex, lunatic fans, and a chain of tours, she begins having second thoughts about if she can cut it as a superstar’s wife.
From their fairytale honeymoon in Paris and Italy, Bella learns more about the persona that is Ari and the differences between him and Miles. Bella finds herself growing unhappy and doubt plus exterior presences seek to draw a wedge between the couple. When Bella finds out she’s with a child, she’s overjoyed.
This book will have you turning each page as it takes an unexpected turn in this unpredictable read. Full of mystery as a house fire destroys Bella’s childhood home and a closely-held secret comes to the surface. The couple’s family life could be in danger as Miles has never trusted Bella.
These characters are wonderfully entertaining. This book will have you going through ups and downs with the way it unfolds. Pick up your copy and you won’t be able to put it down.

A Moore Affair
Moore Family Saga
Book 4
By Michele Sims
☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
This is the 4th book in the Moore Family. This is a full length novel. Not for those under 18, due to the adult theme.

This is the marriage of Bella and Miles (ARI) Moore. Set in Scotland was their wedding, Paris was the honeymoon that followed. There were highs and lows in the days, weeks and months to follow. Miles has quite a following, being the popular music mogul he is. Can Bella and Miles get through the turmoil that follows Miles? Will their marriage be stronger, as they learn to trust and communicate? Your turn to find out.

Michele Sims wrote this page turner. I felt like I was in Scotland watching this wedding develop and take place. Her description of the things going on, just puts you into this story. I fell in love with her characters, and the places they visited. But more importantly was the communication between the two. Let’s not forget the emotional feelings going on in this story. I have enjoyed following this series and hope for more to come.

I was so excited to see another book in this series – after all I loved the first 3 and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it! It was as I expected another amazing read and well worthy of 5 stars! This is the fourth book in this series and I feel they should be read in order to fully understand the dynamics of the characters.
Through everything in this series the one thing that has always come through is the importance of family. I love Bella and Miles and their wedding day is finally upon them. They do genuinely love each other but their new life together certainly seems to be throwing some obstacles in their way. Again the authors writing had my attention from the beginning, I easily read the story in one sitting I just couldn’t put it down.
Another wonderful read from Ms Sims! As always I look forward to reading more from her again in the future!

A Moore Affair is the fourth Book in the Moore Family Saga by Michele Sims. I really recommend reading the previous three books before starting on this one to help you fully appreciate the characters and understand what’s going on in this story.
Miles and Bella are getting married. Even though they love each other, is she really prepared for what’s to come? With secrets and obstacles to overcome, their story is worth reading to discover if their love and relationship will survive it all.
Well written and enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.

A Moore Affair by Michele Sims was a great novel! This was the 4th book in a series, and I have not previously read the others before I read this one. You don’t have to read the other first, but I would recommend it so you aren’t thrown off like past events like I was a little bit. This book had a great story line and characters. I was a little thrown though, cause the timelines weren’t clear cut, and when the characters talked it was a little difficult to figure out who was talking to whom. I enjoyed this book though and can’t wait to read the others in the series in the future!

A Moore Affair (Moore Family Saga #4) by Michele Sims was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning.

We start with Miles and Bella getting ready for their big day. Some people are questioning the quick marriage but they don’t care, they love each other very much. After the wedding Bella starts to struggle with the public lifestyle. Their happiness gets challenged by secrets, exes and so much more.

Can these two get past the things that are trying to get between them?

Overall I really love Bella and Miles. My emotions were all over the place with everything they went through. These two really love each other and you can feel it coming off the pages. Michele has done another great job of pulling you in with her writing. If you’re looking for a great love story this is a series that you will love. I loved reading the story A Moore Affair (Moore Family Saga Book 4) by Michele Sims. It is the next book in a series that I have enjoyed since reading the first story. It pulled me in from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the last page. I love the characters of Bella Wahlberg and Miles “Ari” Moore. Their wedding is upon them. Their love for each other is undeniable. She is his muse. They embark on their honeymoon and life after. Bella is finding that there is a large difference between their personal and public life. Bella is a strong and confident woman. Even so, there are sometimes doubts that arise when situations occur. What will happen when situations happen, and forces wish to tear them apart? Are there secrets being kept? What does the future hold for Bella and Miles? Read this book to find out. I love reading about Miles and Bella. They are likable characters, and I have always wanted them to find happiness. The story has emotional moments and mine went up and down with the characters. Family is very important to this couple and I enjoyed reading about how they all interact. The story has romance and moments that are heartwarming. Don’t miss out on the next exciting and entertaining book in an amazing series. I highly recommend reading it.

A Moore Affair by Michele Sims a fantastic four-star read. This is number four in the Moore Family Saga and I would advise you read them in order, as I have missed one and only realised half way through this one, I didn’t feel very lost but I will have to read a bunch before I go back to read it as I spoiled it for myself. Bella is about to find that marrying Miles may be more than she realises, and it may be more bite than she can chew. But you can see the love that she and Miles have for each other, the author does a great job of bringing you into their story. This is a great series and the dram will keep you hooked and bring you right into the story. If you haven’t picked it up go back and start at number one and enjoy the whole series.

Life throws them some curveballs that could put their future in danger. This is a fast paced story that had me turning pages fast. This is a great story that I highly recommend.

Love in the Lowcountry (A Winter Holiday Collection Book 1) Featuring Poinsettias for Carly by Michele Sims – Review by Erin Wolf

Love in the Lowcountry: A Winter Holiday CollectionLove in the Lowcountry: A Winter Holiday Collection by Savannah J. Frierson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I give Love in the Lowcountry (A Winter Holiday Collection Book 1), 4 stars.

This is a great collection of Christmas romance stories. What makes it stand out is that there are multiple subgenres of romance, such as contemporary romance and paranormal romance. This makes it even more interesting in my opinion, you never what what you’re going to get next.

While there are many good stories in here, I want to focus on Poinsettias for Carly by Michele Sims. It takes two main characters who were really close when they were young, but tragedy separated them. Now she can’t stand him, especially after this latest move. But he seems to want to forgive and forget. Is she willing?

Not a very long story, the author is able to tell us so much about these characters’ pasts while explaining what is happening in the current day too. This felt like a complete story to me and while I would love to read more about these people, I did not like I was left hanging. The author is a great storyteller and it really comes across in the story.

If you like variety in your romance short stories, this is the perfect anthology for your holiday season.

This Winter Holiday Collection has a little bit of everything!

Poinsettias for Carly by Michele Sims is a pretty ok and sweet story. It’s a quick short story about 2 kids growing up together until a tragic accident and a few misunderstandings cause hurt feelings and repressed love. All this information is gathered in flash backs. Those same kids are grown-ups now and are meeting again for the first time in many years. As they reminisce, they rediscover their love for each other.

The story flowed well but I didn’t seem able to connect to the characters. I could definitely see how their situation could have been different with some good old fashioned open communication. I like Sims writing style to keep reading her stories. While there seems to be something missing, Sims is a writer to be watched!

Looking forward to reading the rest of this anthology and other Sims stories!

What a wonderful collection of winter time stories! There is definitely something for everybody in this anthology – from paranormal to sweet romance.
One of the stories I particularly enjoyed was Poinsettias for Carly by Michele Sims. I enjoy second chance romances so this one was always going to be a great story for me and throw in Christmas time and it ticks every box! Although this was a short story it wasn’t lacking in anything at all – it was well written with characters that were developed nicely. I loved Carly! I thought that she was a great character. She’s been through some tough times but she absolutely stands up for what she believes in! Even if that means standing up to the man who she shares a past with! This really was a lovely story and well worth a read from this anthology!

One of my favourites was Michele Sims’ second chances story of poinsettias for Carly that takes us on a journey with Carly who gets a second chance for love and happily ever after when she goes back home to settle her mother’s estate … it is a heartwarming story of how past can be re-written and nothing is gone for ever!

Love in the Lowcountry: A Winter Holiday Collection was a great 5 star read.
We get a great mix of14 winter themed stories from several great authors, paranormal, 2nd chance romance and so much more.

Hoodwinked for the Holidays
This was an interesting read. Sarah runs ghost tours and she has a couple of ghosts working for her, but is it really a good idea? One evening her ghost’s cause some issues for her and she is worried that Saxon, her competition will find out. The other problem for Sarah is sparks fly whenever they see each other. When he shows up to take Sarah’s ghost tour things get interesting.

Mistletoe and Mayhem –
We start with Penelope (Penny) trying to get a job at the magic shop. She meets Jamison while talking to Minerva about the job. I had lol moments at Penny’s thoughts. When Jamison sees her, he seems interested in her ring. There is something about him that sends shivers up Penny’s spine, is it good or bad?

Poinsettias for Carly was one of my favorites.
I was pulled in from the beginning with this short story. This is Carly and Mason’s story that involves past and present. Carly returns home to help pack up her mom’s home, while packing she relives some of her memories. Mason left town after an accident that involved Carly’s brother. Now that they are both back can they rekindle their lost love? My emotions were all over the place. Do they get a HEA?

There are several other great stories in this collection. I enjoy reading these collections because it gives me an opportunity to read authors I have never read before. There is something for everyone in this collection. Each story was just the right length. My emotions were all over the place. If you’re looking for some great reading for an even better price, 1-click and get started today on this collection. I look forward to reading more from several of these authors.

Love in the Lowcountry (A Winter Holiday Collection Book 1) is a varied and exciting collection of books by some fantastic authors. This collection definitely has something for everyone and Ioved how from story to story you got something entirely different.
I started out reading this anthology mainly for Michele Sims. This is an author that I had read previous works of and have always enjoyed. However, once I got the book I couldn’t stop myself from delving into the rest of the work and I can definitely say that I am pleased I did. Not only did I discover books that were well written, engaging and well paced, I also discovered some new authors that I hadn’t heard off before.

This is a collection of love stories. There is something for everyone

One of my favourite stories is by Michele Sims called Poinsettias for Carly.

Carly moves back to her home town to help her aunty sort the rest of her mums home out so its ready for sale.

While she is in her family home a lot of memories both good and bad resurface and also an old flame reappears.

Mason was the love of Carly’s life but after an accident involving her brother Mason left Carly and moved away.

Is the romance between them still strong and can they both overcome the hurt and heartbreak of the past to create a new future finally together.

Love in the Lowcountry is a sweet and heartwarming collection of winter themed stories conveniently in one nice package deal. I loved the vast array of novels that cover many genres from paranormal to the second chance romance. I am going to leave a little tidbit about the sweet second chance romance novella, Poinsettias for Carly by Michele Sims, an already favorite author of mine.

I loved that the title, Poinsettias for Carly also mentions A past unresolved is never the past… I feel like that gives you a good indication of what you are in store for with this little read. I love that while this was a short and fast paced read I never felt slighted or bored and like I was missing pieces. Carly was a fun character who brought the emotion to life in the tale of her finding the spirit of Christmas and dealing with a past that has come back to face her in the future. Will she get her second chance at love and a happily ever after? For that and more fantastic other reads you will have to pick up this set for yourself!

The story that I want to review is Poinsettias for Carly by Michele Sims. It is a book that intertwines the past and present. It is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time that I read it. This is a book that although isn’t very long, had my attention from the beginning to the last page. It has heartwarming scenes and I found myself with a smile on my face when reading it. It gives you “the feels” all the way through. I loved reading about Carly and Mason. They are two characters that I found myself caring about what happened to them and wanted them to be happy. Don’t miss out on this amazing story that is part of this anthology. I highly recommend it.
