Ashes of Aldyr by Russell Archery Review by Michelle Marlow

Ashes of AldyrAshes of Aldyr by Russell Archey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book opens up with a BANG! We are hit immediately with The Rupture.

This is unlike any fantasy or dystopian that I have read before. It never ceased to keep me from wondering what happened next.

Many are sick and many are dying. With the way that it ends, I cannot wait to pick up the next!

The Girl And The Demon By Pauline Gruber Review By Michelle Marlow

The Girl and The Demon (The Girl and The Raven, #3)The Girl and The Demon by Pauline Gruber

We enter into the final part of our trilogy. And if you haven’t read the first two, what are you waiting for?! We are with our wonderful group with Lucy and Marcus not to mention Dylan and Selima.

In this ending part of our trilogy we know that Jude is gone and Lucy is really having a hard time with this. Not to mention Lucifer is walking free. Which is mentioned quite a few times as where Lucy got her namesake from.

This was a perfect wrap up to our series. I am looking forward to more books by Pauline Gruber!!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

We are back at it with our wonderful Broderick Family. This time we are getting the up close look at the brother Edward. We learn about the paranormal pull to Mia. We also find out they’re both incredibly stubborn with wanting to give into this naturally occurring want for each other. Or as Edward called Mia “Pigheaded”. I love this series so much. Such strong family bonds and a wonderful side of the paranormal world that typically isn’t there.

To Be A Fae Queen By Tricia Copeland – Review by Michelle Marlow

To be a Fae Queen (Realm Chronicles #1)To be a Fae Queen by Tricia Copeland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book starts off and IMMEDIATELY grabs you. We start off with our main female lead Titania. You are quickly introduced to other characters including her mother and father who are still in their minds very broken from a prior tragedy.

The kingdom is under attack from the kobold and they are doing everything to protect their realm.

I loved the layout of the realms and how they described where they were, as it isn’t something I have seen done before. Titania is a very relatable character as well. This story is just a wonderful dive into the fantasy world of the Fae.

Family Secrets (Whispering Pines Mystery #1)Family Secrets by Shawn McGuire
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book grabbed my attention right from the start. A wonderful mystery thriller.

We meet our starring character Jayne as she approaches her late grandparents’ lake home in Whispering Pines. The action and suspense is immediately started from right there.

From small town locals to the social outcasts, this is one giant who done it.

I eagerly await the next book!!!!

We immediately pick up where book one left off. We follow all of our different locations and leaders but this one seemed to follow Thomas’s hatred for Matt and his family more.

Matt, Julia and Dan are training to get the traveling through time and space absolutely correct. While Thomas wants a much more sinister end.

The twist that happens at about halfway through this book changes everything for everyone. Although they may not like each other they must work together.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

We once again join our leading characters Tasha and Levi. Although their union of vampire and lycan has been approved through the accords. It’s still not 100% accepted.

This book starts off right where the previous ended. And there is not a moment without action happening. The hellspawn are getting stronger and they are learning more each day. But sometimes the enemy is right under your lycan noses.

I cannot wait to grab the next in this series!

The Girl And The Gargoyle (The Girl and The Raven Book 2) By Pauline Gruber – Review By Michelle Marlow

The Girl and the Gargoyle (The Girl and the Raven, #2)The Girl and the Gargoyle by Pauline Gruber
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

We are back with Lucy and her team of supernatural friends and family. Even if her father is a rude demon named Jude. Also, her wonderful uncles who I love so dearly.

This time around we meet Marcus’s family. Who we aren’t sure have the greatest of intentions at heart. Especially after learning they abandoned him at such a young age.

This book in the series is full of twists and turns and supernatural action. I am anxiously anticipating the next in this trio!

Cursed Touch By AJ Renee – Review By Michelle Marlow

Cursed Touch (Broderick Coven, #4)Cursed Touch by A.J. Renee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the fourth book in this series. We follow Carter who is known as the healing brother of the group. And we meet Vanessa, the small town jeweler.

This book is incredibly fast paced. I was able to finish it in one night, and to be fair I didn’t want to put it down anyways.

I cannot wait for the next in this series as there is one more brother, who is very mysterious.

Loved this and love this series Review by @michellerenee6590

Cursed Whispers by A.J. Renee – Review By Michelle Marlow

Cursed Whispers (Broderick Coven, #3)Cursed Whispers by A.J. Renee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am in LOVE with this series. I loved the book before this but so far this one is my favorite.

Be warned there is a trigger warning for abuse and sexual abuse.

We follow Max Broderick, one of our beloved Broderick brothers. And very quickly his powers of talking with animals is a wonderful benefit to him. As he meets Claudia.

This book was also so hard for me to put down. It was filled with adventure, true emotions and the overwhelming feeling of love.

I truly can’t wait to read the next in the series.

Cursed Sight by A.J. Renee – Review by Michelle Marlow

Cursed Sight (Broderick Coven, #2)Cursed Sight by A.J. Renee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book two in the Broderick Coven series. We follow our two main characters Ethan and Serena. Ethan is new to his powers and learning how to use them as the oracle.

He is teamed up with our lovely high priestess Serena.

It was a refreshing read to me as many books only portray women as witches and never men. With a new spin on magical reads it was one I didn’t want to put down. Even without reading the first in the series I was able to tell who was who and felt for every character. I cannot wait to read the next in this series!

The Girl and The Raven by Pauline Gruber Review by Michelle Marlow

The Girl and the Raven (The Girl and the Raven #1)The Girl and the Raven by Pauline Gruber
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Right away this story grabs your attention with our main character. Lucy is just a 16 year old trying to cope with her life.

She is then thrown into a turmoil. As she ends up living with her great uncles, she learns she is not of this world. Which she already had a clue to.

This story had wonderful fantasy elements to it that I don’t believe we see often enough. It wasn’t all fairies and mortals. No, it was something much different. I cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of this series. And would recommend it to anyone who truly loves a fresh feel to a Young Adult series.

This book GRIPPED ME right away. It wasn’t something I wanted to put down. It is an action packed fantasy that doesn’t stop. We follow our ruthless woman protagonist and she means business.

Alena and her team of assembled characters including a dwarf and an elf are all in for this adventure. From start to finish I needed to know what was happening and it was truly a wonderful adventure! I CANNOT wait for the next!!!

Fans of time travel and multiple parallel plot lines will love this book!

Although confusing at first, you quickly are able to see all of our characters and keep track of everyone. It does take a moment to get going but once it starts it doesn’t stop.

All of the worlds are beautifully described and truly make you feel immersed where certain characters are.

Absolutely able to tell where the next book is going to start and can’t wait to see where it goes!

Turning Wheels: Satan’s Devils MC #1 by Manda Mellett Review by Michelle Marlow

Turning Wheels (Satan's Devils MC, #1)Turning Wheels by Manda Mellett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this book. I truly stepped outside my comfort zone on this one, but am I glad I did.

We follow the story of Sophie, who is a great representation that we don’t see much of in reading. She’s truly a breath of fresh air and then enters in Wraith. Our biker man, the VP of the Satan’s Devils.

The story progresses truly at a wonderful speed, leaving you wanting more. Be warned there is some graphic content for some. However, if you love the motorcycle club atmosphere and all the emotions that come with it this is for you.

Forbidden Wolf by C.R. Robertson – Review By Michelle Marlow

Forbidden WolfForbidden Wolf by C.R. Robertson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This story grabbed my supernatural heart’s attention right away. Vampires? Check. Lycans? Check. Angst and lust and absolutely not following the rules. You guessed it, check.

We follow Tasha, the vampire who questions everything and Levi, the lycan throughout the story.

I was absolutely sucked in (see what I did there) from the moment I started reading. The story progresses very quickly and it’s not something I wanted to put down. It doesn’t leave you disappointed and I truly hope there is more to this!
