Murder Among Friends is a great “who dunnit”! Cammy comes to stay with her brother and sister-in-law and their two kids. When the mother of her niece and nephew’s best friend goes missing, Cammy can’t help but become involved. This story will make you think its predictable and you’ve got the guilty party all figured out. Then the ending happens and leaves you “What the h*ll just happened?!” It’s a great story with a huge twist! Some of the scenes were longer than necessary and the repetitive use of baby/sweetie are just a huge pet peeve of mine, but this book was great!

Linda Burson has written this thriller suspense story. Once I started the book I could not stop reading. I even had to turn on the light, as every little noise had me jumping. I love this story and the characters. Cammy is a strong woman in this story, I love that! You can bet I will be looking for more from this author. Way to go Linda Burson!!!

Murder Among Friends by Linda J. Burson is a five star novel. This is my first book by this author and I loved every minute of it. I could not put this book down. There are so many twists and turns in this novel, you will be on the edge of your seat waiting for the next big thing to happen. When Camille finally decides she has had enough of life and needs a break, she goes to her brother’s house in Connecticut to get some rest and some family time. When a woman goes missing, she knows as a private investigator that she cannot let this lie. She takes her own investigative skills and uses them to figure out what happened. Asher brother is also investigating as a police officer, it can get a little hairy. Read this book to find out more about Camille’s journey!

At times it was so detailed that I was rolling my eyes everytime someone’s name was mentioned over and over again. Just when I started to think the book didn’t have that spark I thought it would BAMMO the story takes on a life of its own.
This story is full of suspense and intrigue, red herrings and nosey neighbors. It is detailed and direct. At times it was jaw dropping and I am so glad I stuck with it.

Murder Among Friends by Linda Burson was one I had a hard time putting down. I hated going to work because it cut into my reading time and I couldn’t wait to figure out what happened and I was so wrong on who I thought it was.
I have so many things I want to say about some of the characters, but I’m afraid it will tip things off, but I will say that each one of these characters is amazing and not everyone is what they seem.
I have read a few books by Ms. Burson and while I have enjoyed all of them I think this is my favorite to date. I would love to see more mystery romance novels by her.

This is the first book I have read from this author and now she has a new fan. I absolutely love mystery with my romance but this talented author exceeded all my expectations. This story had me hooked from the very first page. I could not stop until the very end. It only took me a few hours to devour this book.
Camille Thurston was ready to take break from her exhausting job. She needs some r and r so she goes to her brothers house in a small town in Connecticut. Camille and her brother Zachary share the same stresses. She is a lead investigator and her brother is a cop so they know what kind of stress Camille is under. All she wants is to have some peace and quiet. Camille is getting the time she needs until a woman goes missing. She knows she should stay out of it but her brother is one of the officers that is handling the case. Camille gets involved in this case and she might be a little too close. Will they find this missing woman or will it be too late?
I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, mystery, and some suspense. You fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Camille just wants to have some peace and quiet. She is a very smart woman with a heart of gold. Grant is such a great father to his boy. He is very smart and also has a heart of gold. This talented author will keep you at the edge of your seat until the end. I can’t wait to see what she will write next.

Murder Among Friends by Linda Burson is a murder, mystery that will keep you gripped from beginning to end. This is not the first book that I have read by this author but it’s definitely my favourite of hers so far. When Camille (Cammy) Thurston takes a break from working at a PI firm to get spend some much needed rest and relaxation time, living with her police officer brother and his family for a couple of months, little did she know that she would get dragged into a case that he and his partner are working on and that she’d be closely involved with the family of the missing woman. As is the norm, all eyes fall to the missing woman’s husband Grant, a local attorney but Cammy is convinced that Grant is innocent and gets close to him to gain as much info as possible on him and his neighbours who were friends of his missing wife. I kinda struggled with the writing style while reading this book but I loved the story and was gripped throughout, desperate to know what happened to missing woman Paula, who was involved, and why? I have to say that just as you think you know which way the story is going, Burson throws you and takes the story in a different direction that you just did not see coming. Believe me you will never imagine how this story pans out. Read it and find out. It’s worth the read.

This books is amazing and full of so many twists and turns i didnt see the end coming.
Cam is working as a private eye when she takes time off to visit her brother and his family. During that time a local lady goes missing and the husband is the main suspect.
Cam wants to find out the truth as she believes he is innocent, this starts up a whole load of trouble, involving kidnapping, backstabbing and madness
As well as the husband the ladies friends who all have designed on her husband are also suspects in her disappearance. Which one did it or is it someone who you completely overlook.

Murder Among Friends by Linda Burson is the first book I’ve read by this author. Placed in Connecticut, Camille Thurston is newly employed for a PI business after a string of bad luck with her previous long term job. Her new boss Frank Dees is a guy she meets in a bar the same day she quits her job and her boyfriend breaks up with her. After they work an extremely gruelling murder case, he allows her a 3 month vacation to recharge. Choosing to recharge with her family, she goes to Connecticut to spend time with her brother Zach (whom is a police officer), his wife and their children. While visiting, a woman her Brother knows is reported missing. Her 3 months turned into longer. Camille, trying to help, finds herself in love with the missing woman’s husband, and directly in the middle of the investigation. This was a great read from beginning to end. I thought several times that I had figured out the who done it, but oh my! I definitely couldn’t predict the end! 5 out of 5 stars!

Murder Among Friends by Linda Burson. I have come to love Linda Burson’s books. She is one of my favorite authors. This is the story of Camille Thurston who has come to stay with her brother Zach and his family because she needs a break mentally and physically. When a neighbor woman is reported missing her brother and his partner Russ are thrown into the investigation. The woman’s husband is an attorney and they have a small son. She has run off before but never for this long and not without letting him know where she is. Cammy who has worked for a Private Investigator can’t help but become involved in the investigation. This is a great story! If you like a little murder mystery this is for you! The characters were well developed and interesting. The story has many ups and downs. Who did it? And Why? Are the thousand dollar question. While I enjoyed the story there seems to be something off. It I am thinking it’s the too much detail of the conversations. I never thought I would write that in a review. Conversation is my favorite part of a book. It just seemed some of this way day to day stuff not really moving the story forward or cementing a relationship. It was just filler. Now don’t get me wrong the actual murder mystery was well done. But alas I also am not a great fan of the ending. I just can’t see it. But who knows? Are people ever who they seem? Especially in books.

This book has a great story line, but for me it suffers from too many ideas and not enough editing. Maybe it’s because I love a good thriller that I started this book with high expectations and for the most part I wasn’t disappointed but there were definitely some things that I had to question. I definitely didn’t know who I could trust while reading this which reminded me of Gone Girl and I think that that alone is a talent. I feel like there is an amazing writer here, one who is thoughtful and thinks about the steps ahead. Though this may not have been my favorite book, I really respect Linda Burson for putting out a book that kept me guessing and flipping the pages. I am eager to see what she does next.

Murder Among Friends by Linda Burson is a well written mystery that I found beyond thrilling and didn’t want to put down. The book follows Camille who is worn out and tired who decides to visit her brother. While there, a woman is reported missing and her brother and partner are working the case. Have worked as a private investigator, she is drawn to the case. While helping the case she also gets close to the missing woman’s family. This thrilling read had me at the edge of my seat and always wondering what would happen and if the missing woman would be found. Every character brought into the story and so well written. The details and the writing of Linda Burson truly helped draw me into this five star read!

Murder Among Friends by Linda Burson is book full of twists and turns and one that will have you hooked from start to finish. I enjoyed reading this authors Rage series and couldn’t see how she could possibly top that. However this book definitely does! I loved this book even more. The characters were brilliant. I really really enjoyed reading about Cammy. I felt like I could connect with her so easily and relate to what she was going through about needing a break from her life – who hadn’t felt like that at some point?? The overall this book was intriguing and I sure to have you on the edge of your seat. A very good book and one certainly worth your time.

Emotionally and mentally, Camille Thurston has had it. She needs a much-needed rest from her job and her life in Boston. She decides she’ll find it at her brother Zachary’s home in Connecticut. Little does she know that this is just the beginning of more emotional and mental exhaustion.
A woman is reported missing and Cammy’s brother Zach and his partner, Russ Nolan, are on the case. Cammy, who has worked for a private investigator for the last three years, decides she can’t sit by idly. She becomes involved not only with the case, but with the family of the missing woman.
I decided to write a different kind of biography. While the one written in a few of my books is accurate, this one adds a bit more detail. This one will give you the complete reason while I decided to not only write a novel, but to finally complete it, as well as continue writing.
Life is short. Yes, you’ve heard that cliche many, many times, I’m sure. For me, however, I understand it and feel it to my core. There are those of you who may feel it as deeply as me. Whether you changed your life completely, well, only you would know that. As for me, that’s exactly what I did, and the true reason I am now writing full time.
I had two close calls in my life, close as in the end of my life as we know it here on earth. This makes one stop and think. It certainly made me stop and think, a lot. It made me appreciate what I have, but it also made me consider if the life I was living and the direction it was heading was truly what I desired. This wasn’t a difficult decision for me. I always knew I wanted to write books, but as I said in the previous biography, something always seem to “get” in the way.
Besides the fact that physically I could have died twice, I did have four special people in my life who died way too young. They were all close to me as I was to them. The first important, irreplaceable person I lost was my mother who died from ovarian cancer. Next, was my brother who died due to heart issues; my best friend, who was more like a close sister, died due to breast cancer, and lastly, a cousin who was also a best friend to me, to suicide.
This alone should have been enough for me to make changes in my life. It did get me to seriously consider making these changes and attempt to start that writing career multiple times, but it didn’t push me over the edge enough to do it. It took me being diagnosed with breast cancer, not having great odds, and a couple of years contemplating my life that finally gave me the push I needed to close my business and write full time. It’s the second scare I experienced that keeps me writing.
So, if you don’t wake in the morning looking forward to starting your day, hopefully with a smile, then maybe you need to take a second look at the direction of your life. I found the joy and passion in writing books. Do I want to sell lots and lots of books? Of course. But that isn’t my driving force. I know not everyone is going to love my stories; but that doesn’t matter as much as the fact that I enjoy writing them. It makes me happy; it makes me full whole, and it makes me wake looking forward to starting my day because I know I have something waiting for me that I love to do.

Murder Among Friends by Linda Burson. The story is full of mystery, suspense, drama, intrigue, twists, and also has a touch of romance. I have read many of Ms. Burson’s books now and have loved them all, so when I saw this pop up on my feed I knew I had to read it too. As expected from Ms. Burson, this story is really well written- with just the right amount of tension and suspense to get you turning the pages to find out what happens. And another thing that Ms. Burson is great at is coming up with intriguing plots, her imagination is limitless. She easily pulls you into the story and keeps you hooked right through to the end. Camille Thurston works for a private investigator and feels a little burnt out, she really needs a break, so she decides to spend the summer with her brother and his family. But, when a woman goes missing and her brother begins to investigate, she decides that she needs to pitch in and put her investigative skills to work. She soon develops a relationship with the missing woman’s family… and the story only gets more interesting, and captivating from there. The story has a great pace and is easy to read, it evolved beautifully and unexpectedly the further into the story I went. The character/s have also developed and grow along with the storyline. I really don’t want to give away too much and spoil the story for you, I highly recommend reading it for yourself as you may be pleasantly surprised by what you find between the covers. Looking forward to more from Ms. Burson!

Murder Among Friends by Linda Burson is a crime murder story that is full of mystery and suspense with a touch of romance. It took me a little while to warm to the story and the way it is written took me a while to adjust as I am used to stories being written in the characters POV. There are twists that keep you guessing when you thought things would be different. There are secrets and lies and you will be stunned by something you don’t see coming.
This is like a true murder mystery game that makes for good read. If you like Cluedo or Whodunit then you will love this book.
