Murder Among Friends was a great 5 star read. This was my first read from Linda Burson and I was pulled right in. This read has so much going on, it’s a great suspense thriller. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next.

Camille is an investigator and is needing an overdue break from work, she ends up going to her brothers house in Connecticut. While visiting her brother a woman goes missing and she can’t help but offer assistance to her brother since he and his partner are on the case. So much for the break she was looking forward to.

Will she be able to help them solve the case? What will happen when she gets involved with the family?

Overall this was a great, thrilling read. The secondary characters were great, they added a lot to the story. Camille was a very strong character who was determined to solve the crime. I really liked the relationship that she had with her brother, I did have a couple of LOL moments with them. I really enjoyed the writing style and detail that was in this story. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started on this great read.

What an interesting read. What an adventure. So many characters to watch and wonder about. Murder and mystery, stalking and even some love thrown in. Oh, and don’t forget about the twist that blind sides you at the end!!!

Cammy and Grant are super sweet together. Zach and Leah are the ultimate brother and sister in law. The kids are angels, simply children.

Linda Burson is known to me from her Marcy series. While, this book has nothing to do with that series, the writing style keeps you turning the pages. The storyline keeps you guessing for sure.

This is another recommended story by Burson. I wonder what she’s working on now…

Murder Among Friends is a genre of book that I wouldn’t normally pick up and read, let alone enjoy and get completely captivated and entranced by it. This read was full of suspense from the get-go, had lots of mystery and had you on the edge of your seat throughout, it takes you on a completed rollercoaster ride from start till finish.

This author has created some original, captivating, raw & real characters and a storyline that is gripping and totally intriguing. Giving too much away of this book will totally take all the suspense and incredible plot – it is a book that needs to be experienced by all. I highly recommend this read, I can’t wait to see what else this author brings.

Murder Among Friends is a great “who dunnit”! Cammy comes to stay with her brother and sister-in-law and their two kids. When the mother of her niece and nephew’s best friend goes missing, Cammy can’t help but become involved. This story will make you think its predictable and you’ve got the guilty party all figured out. Then the ending happens and leaves you “What the h*ll just happened?!” It’s a great story with a huge twist! Some of the scenes were longer than necessary and the repetitive use of baby/sweetie are just a huge pet peeve of mine, but this book was great!

This is a full length novel. This is a rollercoaster based on suspense and friends.

Cammy has had enough. Coming from a family of cops, she wanted something different. Became a PI, and loves it. She is tired and exhausted, she needs a break. So she takes the summer off work. Travels to see her brother, sister in law, niece and nephew. Let’s bring in a missing woman and there is a case. Can she just sit by and watch? Her brother is on the case, will she help him?

Linda Burson has written this thriller suspense story. Once I started the book I could not stop reading. I even had to turn on the light, as every little noise had me jumping. I love this story and the characters. Cammy is a strong woman in this story, I love that! You can bet I will be looking for more from this author. Way to go Linda Burson!!!

There are so many twists and turns in this novel, you will be on the edge of your seat waiting for the next big thing to happen. Asher brother is also investigating as a police officer, it can get a little hairy. Read this book to find out more about Camille’s journey!

This book!!!

At times it was so detailed that I was rolling my eyes everytime someone’s name was mentioned over and over again. Just when I started to think the book didn’t have that spark I thought it would BAMMO the story takes on a life of its own.

This story is full of suspense and intrigue, red herrings and nosey neighbors. It is detailed and direct. At times it was jaw dropping and I am so glad I stuck with it.

Definitely a story i recommend

Murder Among Friends by Linda Burson was one I had a hard time putting down. I hated going to work because it cut into my reading time and I couldn’t wait to figure out what happened and I was so wrong on who I thought it was.

I have so many things I want to say about some of the characters, but I’m afraid it will tip things off, but I will say that each one of these characters is amazing and not everyone is what they seem.

I have read a few books by Ms. Burson and while I have enjoyed all of them I think this is my favorite to date. I would love to see more mystery romance novels by her.

This is the first book I have read from this author and now she has a new fan. I absolutely love mystery with my romance but this talented author exceeded all my expectations. This story had me hooked from the very first page. I could not stop until the very end. It only took me a few hours to devour this book.

Camille Thurston was ready to take break from her exhausting job. She needs some r and r so she goes to her brothers house in a small town in Connecticut. Camille and her brother Zachary share the same stresses. She is a lead investigator and her brother is a cop so they know what kind of stress Camille is under. All she wants is to have some peace and quiet. Camille is getting the time she needs until a woman goes missing. She knows she should stay out of it but her brother is one of the officers that is handling the case. Camille gets involved in this case and she might be a little too close. Will they find this missing woman or will it be too late?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, mystery, and some suspense. You fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Camille just wants to have some peace and quiet. She is a very smart woman with a heart of gold. Grant is such a great father to his boy. He is very smart and also has a heart of gold. This talented author will keep you at the edge of your seat until the end. I can’t wait to see what she will write next.
