This book had me hook line and sinker from the very beginning! I was so enthralled with it, which made it the perfect distraction while I waited on my husband to get out of surgery. I absolutely loved Athena’s tenacity, and honestly, I think my favorite character was Tru’s mom in the beginning. Athena’s growth throughout the book was something I applaud the author for. This is the first book I’ve ever read by this author, and I absolutely loved it! I read it on Kindle, but good lord I know I’m going to end up purchasing the physical copy as well. This book is phenomenal, and I’m so excited to get started on book 2!!!

I thought I loved Tru, but holy hell, Indigo and Gideon are my new favorites. These can be read as a stand alone, but flow better if you read the books together in the series. This book was absolutely fantstic, with amazing characters and a delicious slow burn friends to lovers romance plot. Ended on an HEA, for all of the girlies who love those endings. I absolutely love this author, and I love her books. Please check out the first book in the series and give this one a shot as well! It’s a gorgeous, detailed contemporary romance with the perfect plot to spice ratio!

Broken is the second captivating instalment in the Green St. Girls series by N.D Jackson. I love it when one of Ms. Jackson’s books hits my Kindle and I can lose myself in her lovely creation- and after getting a taste of this series from the first book, I very happily dove right in to this second addition to follow along with the Green Street Girls to see what they had in store for us this time.
It is another great read- a contemporary romance- with a bit of a friends to lovers element, plenty of emotion, family, friendship, challenges, risks, self-doubts, chemistry, wonderful characters, angst, drama, discovery, and heartwarming details. Again, Ms. Jackson has produced a book which has all the ingredients that I look for that will keep me avidly reading- which this story definitely had, so before I knew it I had devoured the whole book- and now I can’t wait for Book #3.
As expected, N.D Jackson writes beautifully- her descriptive details brought the whole story to life. The characters especially are really well developed, complex, and quite endearing. I love the Green St. Girls- Indigo, Athena, Gwyn, and Charlie…. so, I am really looking forward to more of their stories.
Happy Reading!

Thank you, N.D Jackson!

I could not wait until book 2 of the Green St Girls arrived and I was definitely NOT disappointed! Fantastic story and I loved getting to know Indigo and this book gave me romance, friendship, drama, past trauma, twists and turns and some spicy moments between Indigo and Gideon. I recommend reading this series from the beginning……I am hoping for more.

Indigo is well known in the gaming world, developing games and also a big invested project that the government is highly interested in. Along side of her team, she develops a very strong, close friendship with Gideon, who is Athena’s brother. Gideon is a true protector and wants what is best for Indigo….as Indigo comes closer to signing an important contract that is worth so much……threats against her are imminent. When the threats are more personal, will Gideon be able to save Indigo when she needs him the most…or will she do what she does best…push him away…

This is a great read and I truly love this author’s storytelling……I cannot wait for more!

This is the second book in the Green Street Girls series, and I love it as much as the first! This time we follow Indigo and Gideon.

Once again, I feel the need to rave about the author’s writing style. Vivid pictures are painted of the scene and characters without being overly descriptive and the character are made to feel real. I was emotionally invested from the beginning and loved every second of it. It’s a heartwarming read, but there are some parts which are heartbreaking.

I loved Indigo, her growth as the story unfolded was brilliant and she deserves every happiness. Gideon is such a lovable character, you can’t help but love the pair and despite all obstacles, root for them start to finish.

I really enjoyed witnessing Indigo’s story and can’t wait for more in this series!

This is the first of the A Green St. Girls Romance series. I loved this book, it got me emotionally invested from the first page.

There are plenty of heartbreaking parts to this story and I think that these aspects are written well – respectfully and feeling real.

I loved the characters and friendships within the story, but my favourite thing about this book was the author’s writing style. It’s clear, descriptive and flows so well. The author paints vivid images without over-describing the scenes, the character’s voices are distinct, and their thoughts and emotions feel real. While I absolutely love the story, I don’t think I’ve come across an author who’s actual writing is my favourite aspect. It’s almost as if I’m not reading it but living it through the character’s eyes.

I truly felt for Athena and her past; her experience and her development felt so real and relatable to my own experiences.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author, but I look forward to bingeing on the rest of their work!

Having read and loved the previous book about the ‘Green Street Girls’ I was looking forward to this next instalment, and I was not disappointed. This is another heartwarming, or though at times heartbreaking story about friendship and finding love. The storyline follows ‘The Green Street Girls’, who include friends Charlie, Gwyn, Indigo and Athena, all of whom have been alone in the world until they found each other. This is Indigo’s story, and Gideon stormed into her life unexpectedly, as a protector and guardian angel, and they became friends, and then their relationship developed into something more. Just as the couple were about to share a new and exciting life together, a threat makes Indigo not only doubt herself but everyone around her, including Gideon. In order to win him back, she has to be brave! I love the four female main characters, and their friendship really comes across in the narrative, and makes you feel engaged with them. Indigo and Gideon definitely had chemistry and I enjoyed how their relationship developed throughout the story, and I was hoping they would get their HEA. I look forward to book three and four in this series.

Broken is the second book in the Green St. Girls series by N.D. Jackson.
I enjoyed the first book Bared where we first met the Green St. Girls as they call themselves and was exited to jump into this one. The characters are well written and developed and complex.
This emotionally charged series is engaging and you find yourself going through the emotions with them. There are twists and turns showing these girls have been through the wringer, and it is so easy to become invested in them and the lives they are living.
Indigo’s story is filled with drama and danger, challenges and intrigue, from friendships and survival, suspense and pain, hopes and fears, love and doubt and much more.
This contemporary romance story flows easily which kept me engaged and lost in the story. I found myself enjoying the tight bonds between friends, laughing at some of their antics, feeling sad and frustrated right along with them.

I can’t to see whose story comes next.

I enjoyed getting to know what was going on and watching the story progress. This author really knows how to create and interesting and engaging story.

I thought the stroy was really well crafted. It had a great pace and was thoroughly enjoyable. This book also has one of my favourite covers so far this year. This was a great read that I would recommend.

Indy and Gideon have a fascinating journey. They are in total denial of being attracted to each other. The feel it’s just a brother/sister thing. I enjoyed watching this relationship develop. Their bond is built with friendship which is so important. Indy is being threatened by someone and Gideon will be there to protect her. I found this story had a bit of everything I love: drama, romance, mystery, suspense and so much more. I love this series. The protagonists are such badass women that I find them good role models. They have overcome a lot to get where they are and they don’t let anything get them down. A strong woman romance that is one of my favorites. I will be eagerly awaiting the next one.

So the mayor of Mustang Prairie, Eric , is dating music starlet Kiki and a normal relationship is difficult enough but add in crazy thing like paparazzi, fans , crazed manager and who knows what else and I think one might be ready to head for the hills but love will always prevail ❣️

  1. A fun read and I’ll be sure to read the others and more from ND Jackson ❣️📕

This was a good 5 star read. This story pulled me in right from the beginning. This couple had several different things to deal with. Eric was a private person and mayor of a small town. Kiki is a pop star that has paparazzi following her all over the place. These two have had a great thing going on between them until Kiki gets some news that changes everything. Will Eric be accepting of what she has to share with him? Can they have a HEA?

Overall I really enjoyed this book. I really liked how supportive Eric was. I did have a couple of LOL moments. They do have some hurdles that added a great element to the story. The secondary characters were great too. The author does a great job with her writing and I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today.

Kiki never expected to find love. Let alone with someone as normal as Eric, the mayor of Mustang Prairie.

Eric knows that being with a pop star is going to be rough, and as someone who values the privacy Mustang Prairie allows, it’s quite a change.

When Kiki finds herself pregnant, both her and Eric are excited, but it’s hard to feel like it’s real when your whole life has always been on display. Now Kiki must find a way to save herself from her agent and keep her new life safe from the paparazzi that comes with being a pop sensation. Can she move on from her past and will Eric be able to handle are her secrets?

With life growing inside her Kiki is forced to re-evaluate a lot of things in her life. Let it be Love is the story of two people, celebrities in their own right, falling in love and finding out that sometimes happy ever afters don’t go as planned.

This was a sweet story about how love can help guide you and support you through the tough times, the happy times, and the downright insane times. I feel like the characters were well built, and the town of Mustang Prairie really draws you in and makes you want to go and never leave.

I’m excited to read more about Mustang Prairie and the friends made along the way.

Let It Be Love is a contemporary romance about pop star KiKi and small-town mayor Eric. This couple truly cares for each other but fame makes it difficult to have the relationship she wants and Eric is reluctant to step into the public eye. This was a very realistic and mature portrayal of your typical romance book. I like how KiKi and Eric communicated and made an earnest effort to have a happy relationship. These two were committed to one another and it was lovely to see. This was a delightful read.

KiKi Ramirez is living the life as a pop princess. She’s gone on world tours and met many famous people. She has the world at her fingertips. It’s show time and she’s stepping into the cage that will lift her high above the crowd of her adoring fans but she’s feeling dizzy, like she might actually get sick. Next thing she knows, everything turns black.

Eric loves being the mayor of his small town Mustang Prairie, but he loves Kiki more. Why can’t she see it? He’d love to make more of their relationship but he doesn’t want all the paparazzi that comes with dating an international superstar. Is there a balance in all of this?

Life for Eric and Kiki is about to change in ways that they could never imagine. Can both of their careers sustain all these changes and challenges being thrown their way? Can love win over their hearts?

This was an enjoyable contemporary romance to read in an afternoon. The characters are loveable and realistic. I had no idea this book was part of a series, which is awesome, because I can go back now and read about some of Eric and Kiki’s friends! This book was easy to read as a standalone but knowing I can read more about the other couples gives me even more reasons to love this author!

This is a great contemporary romance set in a small town. Although part of a series, each book in the series can be read as a standalone. I hadn’t read any of the other books and didn’t feel that I was missing any necessary information. I am intrigued by the other couples who are part of this book and would like to read more of them as each couple adds something to the dynamic of the group.
In this book we get the story of small-town Mayor Eric and his secret romance with pop superstar Kiki. I adored both of these characters and I loved reading their story. It takes you on a roller coaster journey, taking you through every emotion possible and I can say that I really loved the ride.
I do say that one mark of a great character writer for me is how much you dislike the bad guy in a book and I can safely say that I really really hated Louie. What a horrible, despicable man.
This is a really great story, which flows well and keeps you entertained and wanting to keep turning the pages. Definitely recommend.

When it comes to novels about entertainers, such as a “pop star”, I am all in! This book was the absolute best drama-filled, entertaining love story ever. The artist did a phenomenal job with character descriptions and building up a plot, especially since this book isn’t the first in a series. After reading this one, I want to read them all now! Who would have thought an adorable novel about a mayor and a pop star would be so dramatic and interesting and they would connect!!!! Plus, it was written in a fashion that it is relatable on several levels!

This is set in a cute small town. Small town stories are filled with quirky charming characters. This one is no exception and has strong sexy men and their kind sassy women who most have had their own happy endings. That makes for some good guys nights as women get togethers.

This story flowed along at a quick pace. I read it in about twenty four hours. I would read more from this author and series.

This was a very charming, lovable romantic book that I enjoyed very much. I’m familiar with previous books by this author so I was pretty sure I would enjoy it. She did not disappoint. This is book five in this wonderful series. I believe this is my favorite of the series so far because it includes a famous pop star and all the drama and glamour that goes along with it. This interferes with the romantic relationship on so many levels but is so understandable that sometimes you just feel sorry for the two romantic leads. And of course, being a small town, there are even more stumbling blocks in the way they encounter. It’s wonderful. While it’s not necessary to read these books in order I think that you will enjoy it more if you do. And they are all great reads, so you won’t be disappointed.

This is the first book I’ve read in the Mustang Prairie Romance series but it won’t be my last. I loved the story from start to finish. I wish it was a bit longer lol. I would have loved to see how their lives were years later. Eric is such a wonderful person. N.D. Jackson did such a wonderful job creating an all around likable guy. He cared for everyone, fought for what he believed in yet was patient enough to make sure Kiki was taken care of. I felt bad for Kiki after learning about her upbringing and secrets. Even though stardom came at a cost she kept an open heart and stayed down to earth. The story gave me Debbie Macomber vibes (Which is one of my favorite authors), but it had a bit more drama involved. I look forward to reading more by this author.

The storyline is well written and I loved the small town setting. I’d love to say Kiki was relatable but I’m no pop star. I loved the strong character development throughout the book. I couldn’t relate to Kiki’s famousness; however I felt I could relate to her wanting a normal life. The chance to experience falling in love like everyday, non-famous people!

The author does a good job of writing in enough drama to help balance out the romance and keep the reader glued. I certainly didn’t want to put it down.

The characters have a great chemistry and it helps to enrich the book. The totally different personas of the main characters makes it more down to earth and easy to relate to. I will certainly be reading more from this author .

Let It Be Love: A Mustang Prairie Romance by N.D. Jackson

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Let It Be Love is the first book in the Mustang Prairie Series, but it won’t be my last. I’ll definitely be looking for the rest of them. This story had me hooked. It’s the fifth book in A Mustang Prairie Series.

Kiki is a mega poster and is secretly seeing the mayor of a small town. She knows he wants his privacy and doesn’t want to push that on him. She passes out on stage and he rushes to her side. The quote I chose for Kiki is: “I feel really good about it. I wasn’t sure that this was the right path for me, no matter how much I wanted it to be and tonight proved that I could do it. It proved to me that Louie was wrong and only tore me down because he didn’t want things to change. I have to thank you Sadie for encouraging me to do things in a different way. If I hadn’t met you and heard your voice I never would have believed this was possible for me.”

Eric is Mayor of Mustang Prairie and dating mega pop star Kiki. He’d do anything for her including driving through the night to be by her side. Little did he know what he was getting himself into. Will he be able to handle everything that is going to be thrown his way? The quote I chose for Eric is: “Oh did you put on glittery leotards and sing and dance for hours each night at every major city in the world? Did you give up your childhood to achieve your dreams? I don’t think so, you got rich off her hard work and then denied her so much even as your pockets got fatter and fatter. You held an illegal marriage over her head to keep her with you. Why? Because you’re such a good agent or because people were willing to put up with you for the mega star you manipulated? You are a scumbag and a fraud and it’s time the whole world knows it.”

Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

I really enjoyed the experience that was Eric and Kiki. This author is new to me and I will definitely be picking her books up again. There was so much drama, angst, and sweet moments in this book. It showcases true love and the lengths that you may have to go through to find it and keep it. Kiki was such a force on her own right and the fame and success still allowed her to be grounded. Eric was such a sweet and nice guy and he had a good heart. Together they built something amazing and the journey that it took for them to get to that good place was well worth the read.
