Second Chance eX-mas is the first I’ve read by N.D. Jackson but it most certainly will not be the last. I don’t read very many second chance romance novels because I often feel the plots to be too corny or redundant but this one certainly surpasses all expectations. I was drawn into the story line right away and something about the author’s writing style was intriguing and familiar. I was drawn to Ally and her interaction with Cindy right away. I love when books are written in multiple point of views and with the plot of this book, I thought it was great to see things from Archer’s perspective. Overall, I can’t say enough about this book and highly recommend it. Especially if you like a sweet romance during the holidays.

This is the first book I’ve read by Jackson, but it won’t be my last. This book gives every second chance lover what they’re looking for. Christmas and exes coming together.
Ally is a single mom to a six year old she loves with everything in her. Lately her daughter is wanting to meet her dad and Ally isn’t sure if that’ll happen. When she learns that her ex is coming back to town things change. The quote I chose for Ally is: “Me too. My biggest worry all these years was that I didn’t have enough family to give Glory all the love and attention she deserves, but today, watching the way she lit up so easily with Finn and Stephen, I felt like crying.”
Archer walked away from the love of his life and never looked back. When he comes home he finds that things have changed. He’s got a kid He doesn’t know. The quote I chose for Archer is: “Yes, that’s how ice skating works. I’ll be right there with her. Holding her hand and cushioning her fall. This is something I can teach her, Ally.”
Highly recommended for contemporary romance lovers.

Ally is a single mom working hard to get her grow her business so her and her daughter, Glory, could live comfortably. However, he quiet life is thrown into chaos when Archer comes back to town. Archer has been serving in the military and is moving back to his hometown. He hasn’t seen Ally in years and hopes that she is happy. However, his mother gives him news on his first day back home that will change his life forever. He has a daughter. Now Archer is determined to get to know his daughter and, hopefully, get to know her mother. Ally isn’t going to make it easy for Archer…but sometimes old flames don’t completely die out. I enjoyed this story from beginning to end. Ally is a strong, independent woman and I love how she handled Archer coming back into her life. I can understand where her feelings were coming from and I enjoyed watching their relationship grow and evolve since they are adults and not the children they when they last saw each other. This was a cute story of reigniting old flames while coming to terms with the changes life has thrown their way.

Ally was left 5 years ago by Archer, he didn’t even look back. Now she is back in town working to have her own business. When she finds out Archer is returning home, she knows she won’t be able to keep her secret much longer. What will he do when he learns the truth?
Archer is determined to get Ally back. All his feelings for her came rushing back when he saw her. Will she understand why he left? Can he get her to come back?
Overall this was a great 2nd chance romance and I LOVED all of the characters. We have secrets, steamy moments and rekindled love in this book and I felt like I was right there with them. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I had some LOL moments and one character really tugged at my heartstrings. I loved this sweet and steamy Christmas romance which had me hooked from page one. Although a fairly short book it was packed full of, romance, emotions, family dramas and wonderful characters. Set in a small town called Blissful, childhood sweethearts Ally and Archer get a second chance at love when Archer returns to his hometown after leaving the military. Archer is determined to win back the women who he left behind but has always loved but Ally can still not get over the heartbreak she suffered when he left her. Archer gets a big surprise when he meets Ally’s daughter Glory and realises that when he left Ally she was pregnant. Although Ally is happy for Archer to spend time with and get to know his daughter she is less keen to spend time with him herself, despite his best efforts and that of his Mum who is a doting Grandmother to Glory.
When a steamy kiss leads to an even steamier night together they both recognise that the chemistry they shared is still definitely there and as they spend time together as family leading up to Christmas Ally realises that she has always loved Archer and still does. Archer has a Christmas Eve gift for Ally that he hopes will ensure that they can both let go of the past and have a happy future together that lasts beyond Christmas Day.
Full of Christmas magic and the festive spirit this is a lovely lighthearted and heartwarming novella. I loved all the characters and they all added to the overall story. The chemistry between Archer and Ally sizzled off the page. The author made both the characters and the setting of Blissful at Christmas time really come alive. The narrative flowed well and I felt immersed in the story. An enjoyable and engaging Christmas romance with a real feel good factor.

I’m a sucker for a second chance love story and this novella packed quite an emotional punch in a few short pages. I have enjoyed this author’s writing in the past and this novella further cements my appreciation for her skill with the written word. I love holiday romances, slow burn storylines, and second chances – this story will be one I will gladly add to my book rotation to enjoy often. Loved it.

If you are looking to read a good second chance magical Christmas love story, then this book is for you. This is not my first book by N.D. Jackson and it will not be the last one either. Her attention to detail is what makes this story on my list of books to read. This story is about Archer and Ally. They were a couple and then they broke up. Archer moved away and Ally stayed. Archer came back to town because he knew what he did was not right and truly not the decision he did not mean to make. Can Archer use the Christmas magic to help get back with Ally? Does Ally want Archer back after he had left her in the past? I highly recommend reading this book.

Second Chance eX-mas by N.D. Jackson is a quick holiday romance that will really have you rooting for the characters. It is a great second chance story with just the right amount of holiday magic to make it feel special. Although this is a pretty quick read – it is a novella after all – the book doesn’t feel like there is anything missing or it has been rushed. The author has managed to create a short story with a full storyline to it. I loved that I could really get behind the characters and couldn’t wait to see how they would work things out. Even with so much between them it felt right that they should end up together in some way! This isn’t the first book that I have read by this author and it definitely won’t be the last either. She really has a great way of creating brilliant stories and this one is no exception. I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who was a nice quick read to get them in the holiday spirit.

This is a story about Ally and Archer, childhood sweethearts who had it all, the looks, the hope and the future as well as every chance for it to come true, that is until Archer left and never looked back but also never knew what he left behind until he returned home and found out.
It is Christmas in Blissful and Ally is busy preparing orders and making deliveries for her customers and as always is running late for her other responsibilities, but when she finally arrives home with everything she needed to complete her work before she can relax and enjoys the holiday season properly, she receives a piece of news which shakes her to the core, Archer is coming back to Blissful. Archer who left her, Archer who hurt her, Archer who she had learnt to live without and survive the wounds in her heart which he gave her and Archer who she would not let back in no matter what he tried to do, she had just gotten her life to a position where she could look at the future and be hopeful, despite the time and energy she had spent to get there and she wouldn’t let that future slip away.
Archer is thinking about coming back to Blissful and what that means, he is thinking about the day he left and the decision he made which led him to do so, it is a long drive from the airport and it is giving him more time to think than he would like. He knows that she probably hates him and has a life without him, but he doesn’t want to see it if she has, he is remembering all the places in the town as he passes them and some of the memories of Ally which are associated with them, as he thinks about turning the car around, but that all fades into the background when he pulls up outside his mother’s house. He sees the shutters and thinks about his siblings and how they each chose their own colours for them, he then sees his mother bounding down the steps and into his arms for a hug and to know if he is home for good, his reply is as long as she will put him up for and with that out of the way, he goes to eat what she has cooked for his homecoming meal and they start to catch up on what the other has been up to since he left, including exactly what he left behind and it is the shock of a lifetime.
This information leads to Archer and Ally meeting again and Archer trying to mend all that he broke when he left, he knows now what he wants and will stop at nothing to get it, but will he manage to reform these bonds, will the magic of Christmas be able to help, or will the past be too much to overcome? This is a story of second chances, but what they look like is not always what people plan them to be.

This was such a fun and fast read for the holiday season. I have never read anything by ND Jackson prior to this but what an introduction. I loved how this was a slow burn second chance romance that brought a sleepy little town to life with the Christmas magic. I found myself really giggling and aww’in at all the moments that made me stop and reminisce on my own holiday love and magic. I will be looking for more reads by ND Jackson in the very near future and hope to like them just as much. This was a short read so I don’t feel like I can give much more than the blurb on what takes place in this novel without ruining all the specialness of it all, so for details you will have to one-click this holiday read for yourself. Second Chance eX-mas is a great contemporary romance by N.D. Jackson. At 123 pages it is a quick, but very enjoyable read. I devoured it in a few hours. It’s always a worry when you try out a new author but this was a very pleasant surprise as I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ally and Archer had been the perfect couple until he broke it off and went away to join the military. Years later he is back home and he wants Ally back but Ally has a huge surprise for him. A gorgeous little girl called Glory. For me Glory was totally the star of this book. She’s absolutely adorable and very quickly has Archer totally twisted around her perfect little finger. I really loved reading Ally and Archer’s story. Both are amazing characters that I fell in love with. Ally’s been hurt badly by Archer and is vert sceptical about letting him back into her life although she won’t stop him seeing Glory. Archer is determined to win Ally back and for the three of them to be a family. Although this is a short read, there is so much packed into this story. It’s angsty, romantic and had me hooked from the very beginning and I didn’t put it down until I finished it. A great read!

When Archer makes it back home to Blissful for the first time in six years, Ally’s whole world is turned upside down. Ally’s surprise for Archer leaves him speechless, but more determined than ever to win back what he mistakenly left behind.

I sincerely enjoyed this story. This is my third book by this author and I’m loving each of the books I’ve read more and more and she has become an automatic one click for me.
This was a second chance romance that takes place during the holidays and gave me everything I wanted in a Christmas story. I must say I loved all the characters in this book but my two favorites were Cindy and of course Glory. I loved Ally and Archer and loved their story but it’s the first time I think I’ve ever read a book where the secondary characters really made the book for me.
I read this book in less than an hour and a half and really was sad when it was over, I had fallen into total “bliss” while reading and really felt like I was right there watching it all play out.
I highly recommend picking this one up if you’re looking for a feel good Christmas story. This one has it all.

Second Chance eX-mas by N.D. Jackson is a delightful contemporary romance. It is a slow burn second chance story that is set in a quaint little town. ND is good at setting the scene, where the characters are a little quirky, a little different and fun. ND did a great job making me feel what the characters were going through and imagining the town as she sees it. Glory stole the show though she was a pleasure to get to know.

Archer used to have a relationship with Ally. Glory is a little spark girl. Archer and Ally are Glory parents and adding Archer back into the picture is changing Glory. This is a lovely little holiday story. It truly warms your heart.

This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her. She continues to impress me with her writing skills and her attention to details. This book is no different. This is a shorter story that is full of the Christmas spirit and second chances. I loved the characters and how they brought the story to life. This is Archer and Ally’s story. They have a past together. They had it all until he left and never looked back. Now that he is back in town, will he realize his one mistake? Ally’s world is about to be turned upside down. What will fate have in store for these two? Is there forgiveness and second chances in their future? I loved this story and the warm fuzzies you get from reading it. How Could I Forget is the 1st book in the Plentiful In Love series by N.D. Jackson. It is a wonderful second chance romance set in the town of Plentiful. I had not read any of this author’s work before but was intrigued by the blurb so decided to give it a try. I’m so glad that I took a risk on a new author as I really loved this book. Kayla and Dan had an unforgettable one night stand on the night before graduation at college. Unforgettable for Dan as it was the night he lost his virginity. Unforgettable for Kayla as the night left her pregnant with twins and no way of contacting Dan as she didn’t even know his surname or anything about him to contact him. 6 years later and Dan comes to Plentiful to help his aunt Tilly only to find Kayla living a few doors away from her. Finding out that he’s a father totally rocks his world. He’s now a hugely successful CEO and a family is the last thing on his mind, that is, until he spends time with Kayla and adorable twins Dani and Tobin. I absolutely loved this book. I was gripped from the very beginning and could not put this book down. The interactions between Dan and Kayla are HOT, the chemistry is smoking. Aunt Tilly is one of the best secondary characters in a book ever. She’s hilarious and a total breath of fresh air. The scene stealers in this book are the adorable twins Dani and Tobin, in particular the scenes as they get to know Dan. You may need a tissue to get through some of them as they are so sweet and tug at the heart strings. If this first book is anything to go by, then this is going to be an amazing series. A must read!

Ok I absolutely loved loved loved this story. Dan and Kayla had one night before college graduation and now 5 years later, they’re both in for a surprise. Finding out they’re not only neighbors but that Kayla never told him a huge life event made this story not leave my hands until the end. I went through many emotions, between laughing, getting ready eyed, wanting to throw my kindle in frustration , you name it I felt it. I cannot wait for more in this series!

How Could I Forget (Plentiful in Love Book 1) By N.D. Jackson. What a great story! From start to finish I was completely drawn in to Dan and Kayla’s world. These characters man they captured a piece of my heart and I’ll be honest I’m not wanting it back because I’ll think about them from time to time for sure. The author knows how to write characters that click not only with each other but with readers also. They a realistic and relatable. Their chemistry jumps off the pages. Even the smallest details are thought out and written well. The entire story is written well and paced nicely. And you just can’t beat the characters. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

All her time is spent at work, with her twins, and with the neighbor down the street that the kids call Aunt Tilly. Dan, as he is called now, is a successful business owner who is taking a break to take care of his aunt as she is getting older. It just so happens that his aunt and Kayla’s friend, Tilly, are the same person. This leads to a reunion quite a few years in the making. As their past feelings are revealed, along with a secret or two, Kayla and Danny must decide if they have e future worth exploring or if their lives are just in different places right now.
I found this book to be easy to read and the story kept my attention the whole time. As a reader, I could feel their emotions pouring off the page. There was lust, loneliness, hope, regret, and love…among others. They each had their own dreams that they were pursuing and needed to find out where they could fit each other in when it came to their plans. This is the first book that I have read from this author, but I am looking forward to book two in this series.

This book was such an enjoyable read because it starts off kinda awkward but really cute and then builds into this story where the 2 main characters meet up later in life and everything has changed. you get to watch them as they figure out this whole new journey with all the twists and turns. There also is the added bonus of one hilarious aunt who is super sassy! I really loved the character development in this book and I look forward to reading the rest of them.

How could I forget is the first story in a brand new series by this author. Kayla and Dan have a rocky start to their relationship, and when they reunite years later Dan is very surprised to find out he is a father. The story follows the pair as they get to know each other again and find the best way to parent together. The main characters are really likeable and you are really rooting for them throughout to rekindle their romance. It isn’t all smooth sailing, they face personal and professional challenges along the way, but this just makes the story even more believable. The highlight for me though was Aunt Tilly, the older lady has so much attitude and life about her, I’d love to see her pop up in future books.

This book reminds me of one of those Lifetime or Hallmark movie storylines and I’m a cornball, I love it! Kayla is gorgeous, lively, kind and untouchable. She and Dan spent one night together. A night filled with heat and passion to fill one another’s pleasures. Just as quick as started, it was over. After graduation, they’d said goodbye forever (or so they thought) until he found her AGAIN two houses down but 4 years later. Dan was the cute nerd with gorgeous eyes. Intelligent, reserved, and soft-spoken. Kayla was just as taken with him as he was about her. As cautious as he was, it made her see him in a different light completely. Even though it was one night, their bodies hungered for one another. Their lives changed forever in one night until Dan showed back up where their lives would change forever. This book is beautifully written and you can’t help but fall for the characters. You find yourself wanting for the characters to confide their inner desires and wind up together. This gives hope to love you pray they share together. Great read!

It must be Love is the first book in the Plentiful in Love series by N.D Jackson. I loved N.D Jackson’s “Mustang Prairie” series, so when this popped up on my recommended book feed, I snapped up a copy and dove right in. It is s second chances romance- a sweet and fun read. There are a couple of secrets and just enough tension to keep things interesting and the storyline moving along nicely. There were times I was smiling, other times my emotions came out to play. But mostly this was an easy and enjoyable read. The author writes beautifully- her descriptive details brought the story to life- the characters especially, are really well developed, complex, and quite endearing. A great start to a new series- looking forward to book #2!

5 Star How Could I Forget (Plentiful in Love Book 1) by N.D. Jackson is a wonderfully written story that I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t stop reading till the end. I was pulled in from the beginning and pretty much fell in love with the characters of Kayla and Dan. All the characters are very well developed and easily relatable and the story just flowed. Kayla and Dan both had secret crushes on one another and neither one knew. There definitely was attraction and made for one another. Dan and Kayla had one steamy night together before they both went their separate ways after college. He pretty much had given up hope he would find her or run into her at some point. Boy when he did finally see her. What he over heard will change his life forever. Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author

How Could I Forget by N.D. Jackson is the first book in the Plentiful in Love series. This book is absolutely wonderful, with amazing characters! I loved Dan and Kayla. They were definitely made for each other. I was instantly drawn into their lives and loved watching the journey they go through. I loved the connection they have. This is definitely a well written book and one that I very much enjoyed.
