My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is an author that I have read all of her books and loved each one. Her writing style is such that she brings life to the story and her characters just pop. This book is no different and among my favorites. This is a well written fantasy story that has romance and has a touch of suspense. A story where the characters question their worth and if they are worthy. I enjoyed these characters. They are creative, strong characters that add so much to the story. They made it easy and engaging. A short story that packs a punch and one that I read in one sitting. This is a must read for sure. I enjoyed reading this book and this author. I highly recommend this must read story.

This book is absolutely fantastic and just what I have come to expect from this talented author. I first read this book when it was released as part of an anthology and when I saw it was being released individually, I had to get it and read it again. This book was just as good for reading the second time and reconnected with the characters immediately. The story is so engaging and exciting to read and I noticed things this time that I missed on my first read through.
This author has such a skill for create detailed, interesting and captivating stories that I am happy to read again and again. I loved this book from the moment I started reading it and it only left me wanting more. I would highly recommend everything this author has ever written to any fan of the genre.

I really enjoy Naomi Valkyrie’s writing and was excited to get my hands on this one. This is the story of Leilphun, who is exiled from his home planet for standing up for what he believes in, and Kasper, the crime boss who is fighting for what is rightfully his. This is a quick read and definitely feels rushed in places, but I believe that Valkyrie could flush this story out more and really develop the characters and plot line. I really enjoyed this story but wish that it was a little more developed…there is definitely potential here. This is a MM romance and there is allusion to spice, but no direct spiciness. A great read if you are looking to dip your toe in the water of alien romance 😉

The Alien & Crime Boss was a surprising story. A M/M romance that has the alien busting out his inner warrior to protect the crime boss who has found him. I can’t give away too much but it’s a story full of drama, adventure and some out-of-this world romance. These two go through a lot right from the beginning. It’s very interesting to watch this relationship develop because the characters are really from two different worlds. We get to watch them learn what love really is. It’s a good book for those interested in this trope.

Naomi Valkyries new book The Alien & The Crime Boss is a MM alien mafia romance tale. It also features as one of the stories in the anthology Aliens on Earth which is a limited-edition 12 book romance collection by many wonderful new and USA Today bestselling authors.
I have read every one of Naomi’s books and there is not one that I have not loved. I love the quirky characters and I enjoy the different stories that Naomi comes up with this is one of my favourites.
Leilphun is alone and on the run and walking into a brand-new world was safer than staying. Although Earth welcome wagon is not what he expected. Will his rescuer be his ruin or his salvation?
Kasper wants to take over and watching the war means he is on track he just must wait it out. What he didn’t count on was the man he found in the ravine. What he didn’t know was his actions had changed his life.
Well worth the read.
Do yourself a favour and start reading her work today.

KASPER KINGSTON

With my plan to weaken the two major crime families set in motion, I retreat to a remote cabin to wait out the destruction and plan my takeover. None of my plans included a man claiming to be from another planet.

Believing he’s been sent to kill me, his ridiculous claim a distraction meant to throw me off, I hold him prisoner. But then he goes and saves my life. Maybe there’s something to this alien thing after all. One thing is certain, my pathway to power just got a whole lot easier with him on my side.

All I have to do now is stay focused on the mission and not get distracted by the allure of my otherworldly hero.

LEILPHUN

After fleeing the authorities on my home planet to avoid the punishment of the fighting arena, I awake on Earth only to find I’ve exchanged one prison for another. The difference is, I can tell the wary human holding me captive won’t harm me. He might be reluctant to believe I’m not human, but deep-down he knows I’m not a threat.

Despite his suspicion, he treats me well and even initiates the betrothal ritual. Which is why when people show up in the middle of the night intending to kill him, I call upon my warrior spirit to defend him; the very warrior spirit I’d sworn never to use, because I fear losing myself to my primal nature.

Now, Kasper has made me a part of his mission to rise to the top; but how can I be certain it’s me he truly wants? What if I’m just a pawn in his struggle for power – only good for my talents, but not worthy of his love?

This is the first book I have read from this author and she has me hooked. I love a good paranormal romance but this one had an amazing twist. I love that this was a short story and it was also in dual pov. I could not help but to fall in love with both characters in this book. I could not put this book down so I read it all the way through. I can’t wait to read some more books from this awesome author.

Lucifer is now in town and he keeps on hearing rumors of the Eden Manor. His friends tell him to stay but he wants to get to the bottom of it. They are only rumors. When Lucifer goes into the manor he sees something very strange but he is almost caught getting out. He doesn’t realize that Mordecai was watching his move and now he wants to make him pay for trespassing. Will Lucifer find out what is really going on in the manor or will he become one of the rumors?

First off, I would like to say that I absolutely LOVE Naomi Valkyrie! Their writing is amazing. Although most of the author’s books seem to be on the short side, they are full of detail and emotion! Naomi’s writing is so unique that you will always be wondering what they are going to write next! There has not been a book I have read by this author that I have not liked, this one included!

Lucifer is a fiery being who toots to his own horn. Instead of waiting in line to the annual Halloween party the Eden Cove Manor hosts, he decides to break into the manor while it is empty to see what all the fuss is about. Rumors float all over the town about how the Manor is haunted and then men who live there are dangerous. Lucifer wants to see for himself if the rumors are true or if they are all hearsay. Little did he know that one stupid curious break and enter would change his life forever.

Mordecai, one of the men who reside in the Manor, is curious about Lucifer. He is reckless and sassy, for some odd reason, Mordecai likes it. Lucifer could be the one that they have been waiting for, to complete their group. The answer to all their problems. Hopefully he is as strong as he appears.

This book is a dual POV of both Lucifer and Mordecai, both men so different from each other, from completely different worlds yet can’t stay away from each other.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lucifer is a young man who enjoys life to the fullest, be that with family, friends or work, especially when his mother asked him to live and embrace whatever opportunities life throws at you, so on halloween night, he decides to go to a legendary party and try to find one of the hotties who are throwing it, but they also happen to live up at the mysterious Eden Cove Manor. This plan doesn’t pan out, but he decides to take a visit to the Manor instead seeing as its residents are out partying the night away, so against his better judgement and the warnings given to him by his best friend, he decides to go and investigate the rumours himself.

Mordecai is one of the men who live at Eden Cove Manor, he is also one of the halloween party hosts, however, when he is notified that someone breaks into the manor, he rushes home to see what damage has been done and who has done it, however, he isn’t alone and this is where the games begin as he follows the intruder home and leaves him a note, as well as return a personal belonging. When Lucifer wakes the next morning and after his adventure, he finds the note and item and is completely thrown and highly curious about what it all means, so when his work meeting is disrupted, he is annoyed, but also a bit hot under the collar and this is where he meets Mordecai.

As much as he is warned away from the house and its inhabitants, he can’t seem to forget about them, even when he should, so when he has the chance for answers, he takes it, meanwhile, Mordecai is also drawn to the chaos which is Lucifer and he soon realises that he may have found the one person he has been looking for, for a long time, but is he willing to take the risk again, or will time run out and the choice made for him? This is a paranormal romance where first impressions aren’t always true and decisions made can be deadly, or delicious, but which ones are made, you will have to read along to find out.

The Men of Eden Cove Manor is a MM Paranormal Romance with mystery, intrigue, suspense, action, danger, vampires, demons, and supernatural elements. Set around Halloween adds to the spooky, mysterious, creepy vibe of the story which centers around the characters of Lucifer and Mordecai. These two characters had their own unique quirks and personalities, and I was completely drawn into their worlds as they told their story from their own POV. Lucifer is impulsive, bold, reckless, and determined to live life on his own terms. When he hears about a mystery surrounding the men of a local manor he is determined to investigate and find out what all the fuss is about. According to locals, the manor is creepy, and they are terrified to go anywhere near it. Lucifer sees this as a challenge and while the men of the manor are away at a party he decides to break into the manor and explore. As he does so he gets more than he bargained for when he makes a startling discovery. Not only that, but Lucifer does not go unnoticed by Mordecai, one of the men at the manor. Mordecai is dangerous, cunning, and determined to toy with Lucifer as punishment for violating his privacy and trespassing in his home. Neither men are willing to back down from the challenge nor are either expecting to be attracted to the other. The ensuing story is full of blackmail, centuries old secrets, humor, witty banter, romance, and chemistry. Another amazing book by one of my favorite authors!

The Men of Eden Cove Manor is a short MM supernatural story. A manor that’s surrounded by rumors of what truly goes on there. The author brings you to this town that has a haunted manor overlooking it. People tell stories, they are scared, but how many have actually been there.
Lucifer wants to meet one of the Men of the Manor. So in spite of his friends warnings of not going, he heads out for the night. To the biggest party of the year, thrown by non-other but those very mysterious men themselves. However instead of ending up at the party, he ends up roaming around the manor instead. Will he get caught?
Mordecai and his housemates have been alerted of an intruder on their property. Which causes them to leave their task at hand early. Upon arrival the man is still in their home, so they decide to have a little fun with him. Will they traumatize him, like previous rumors?
Mordecai and his friends are different and they are on the quest to find someone to make them complete. Will Lucifer fit that bill?
This short story has a lot going on. However despite all that the author makes sure there are no loose ends. Leaving the reader with no unanswered questions. The story was good, but definitely different.
If you like supernatural elements as well as MM romances check it out. You get a taste of both that will be intriguing enough to enjoy.

The Men of Eden Cove Manor: M/M Paranormal Halloween Romance

Not sure if it was the cover or the synopsis that convinced me to step out of my comfort zone but I did and I’m so glad. I have had the pleasure of reading at least one of Ms. Valkyrie’s previous books so I knew almost what to expect. I got that and more while reading this quick but fascinating and unique (at least to me) story.

Lucifer finds a way to get himself in trouble when he should have been enjoying the Halloween party thrown by the group of mysterious men who live in the Manor.

Mordechai came across as the unofficial leader of the guys living in the Manor. He definitely has a take charge personally which I think helped with Lucifer.

I would love to see more of the Men of the Manor because I liked them so much but would also be satisfied if this is our only encounter.

This was the first book by this author but I will definitely be checking out more. I’m also new to the M/M stories no matter what the genre so it’s like a whole new world is opening up to me. The story is told from the dual points of view of Mordecai and Lucifer. In my personal opinion it doesn’t always work but it did seem to enhance this story. Lucifer is new to Eden Cove and is eager to find out the mysteries surrounding the manor. He sets out to uncover these secrets and meets Mordecai. Mordecai doesn’t like that someone has invaded their privacy, but they are missing link to something and Lucifer may be it. This was a good and quick read that could have gone on for several more chapters. Even so the author got her point across and told a full story that keeps you entertained from page one.

Super interesting! I was very drawn into this story, wondering what was going to become of Lucifer and finding out what the men of Eden Cover Manor were hiding. This was such a fun take on vampires. Lucifer is a stubborn one and luckily for him Mordecai seems to have taken a liking to him. At first I was confused about who was who with, Cristoff, Asa, Luthor, Emory, Mordecai, and Darius. In the end it all clicked for me once Lucifer made up his mind. I really hope there is going to be a follow up book because, I would really like to see where life takes Lucifer and the other men.

The Men of Eden Cove ManorThe Men of Eden Cove Manor by Naomi Valkyrie

The Men of Eden Cove Manor is an enticing paranormal romance, set around Halloween. I’ve enjoyed this author’s books in the past – some fantastic LGBT+ paranormal stories – so was excited to read this and it didn’t disappoint!

The story draws heavily on the Gothic which I love! Curious Lucifer sneaking around a supposedly haunted house, stumbling into something he shouldn’t have seen and then being caught up in a dangerous and wonderful world feels classic, but there’s plenty that’s new and unusual about this story as well!

While it’s in many ways a lighthearted paranormal romance, this story also explores grief. Lucifer has recently lost his mother and is trying to honour her by living his life to the fullest. Meanwhile, Mordecai and the others at Eden Cove Manor are still affected and motivated by bereavements they suffered long ago.

If you’ve enjoyed other books by this author, you already know you’re in for a treat! I’d recommend this to fans of Gothic literature and M/M(/M/M/M…) romances. It gets five stars from me!

What a fun Halloween story. I always pick this author when looking for something new to read. The story is well written with just the right amount of romance and mystery. A must read. While the story is short it was packed with high jenks and hair raising events. The main characters are the highlight of the events happening at the Eden Cove Manor. One breaking into the Manor, the other teaching a lesson. Paranormal stories have always interested my reading mind. This one tops them all. So many scares for this Halloween Story. I loved it and look forward to reading more from this author.

This is a fast-paced story that brings readers into the paranormal world. Lucifer decides to take a chance and investigate the mysterious Manor while the residents are away. Little does he know that when he enters the house he is not alone. Soon Lucifer is drawn into a world that he never imagined existed. Will he survive or has he pressed his luck too far this time?
Lucifer’s adventure is an interesting one. He finds not only Mordecai but others who make a difference in his journey. The men of the manor each have their own personalities but we do not see a lot of them. It would be nice for these men to have more depth to their characters. Readers get a lot of glimpses at what the characters are like. Lucifer and Mordecai are very one dimensional for me and I did not get lost in their story. The plot is an interesting idea and I would have liked a bit more information on the past and the circumstances that they find themselves in now. It was nice to see all the friendships and connections that the characters have in this story and how strong love can truly be.

An enjoyable paranormal MM romance with a Halloween feel, which kept me happily turning the pages. Lucifer is grieving the death of his mother when he decides to uncover the mystery of the ‘men of Eden Cove Manor’. He didn’t believe the town gossip until after he has a confrontation with one of the hot, mysterious Manor men. Mordecai thinks Lucifer is a nosy, reckless and impulsive brat but he’s also drawn to his chaotic energy. Although Mordecai’s intention is to teach him a lesson for violating the Manor men’s privacy, he soon discovers that Lucifer may be the answer they have been searching for. Mordecai needs to convince Lucifer that he’s the missing piece to their centuries old puzzle before it’s too late. Lucifer gets more answers than he expected when he entered Eden Cove Manor, and he may even become the town’s next secret. This is a MM romance and there are several people that make up the relationship. I liked how it was told from two characters POV which made me feel engaged with the characters. Both the characters and the setting was brought vividly to life by the descriptive narrative, making me feel immersed in the storyline. This was a fairly short story but it was packed full of drama, action and romance which had me hooked from start to finish.

The Men of Eden Cove Manor by Naomi Valkyrie is yet another sublime paranormal MM romance with a bit of a ‘why-choose’ dynamic. It never ceases to amaze me at the abundance of creative ideas that Ms. Valkyrie must have buzzing around in her head, as this is yet another highly original plot, distinctive from the rest of her works, but still with all the trademark touches and ‘personality’ that I have come to expect from her work.
Well-developed and cleverly woven, this story has vampires, mystery, action, adventure, spooky encounters, agendas, chemistry, emotion, humour, banter, supernatural elements, high stakes, a time crunch, quirky yet endearing characters, tension, suspense, danger, choices, Halloween hijinks, and a lot of flirting with danger. The story is set on/around Halloween, which adds an extra element of mysteriousness to the story.
Lucifer is a somewhat bold, bratty, and sassy individual who’s new to town. When he hears all the rumors surrounding “Eden Cove Manor” his inherently curious nature is engaged, causing him to make the impulsive decision to break into the manor and do some investigating of his own. They are just rumors after all. Right? But Lucifer soon finds himself drawn into a situation he could never have predicted- discovering plenty about the ‘Men’ of ‘Eden Cove Manor’, and himself, along the way. Throw in a little blackmail, a HUGE secret, time running out, desperate hopes, chemistry, and some much-needed zest for life- and things take a fun and intriguing turn…
Highly recommended reading.
I can’t wait to see what Ms. Valkyrie has in store for us next…
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Naomi Valkyrie!

The Men of Eden Cove by Naomi Valkyrie is a paranormal romance story. We follow Lucifer, a young man who is intrigued by the rumors regarding the men who live in the haunted manor in Eden Cove. Lucifer is a little bit reckless but loving to Ren and it made me love him despite his recklessness. I loved the friendship between Ren and Luci. I also loved how the story developed between Lucifer and Mordecai. We also get a bit of intrigue and mystery surrounding the men of the manor. I feel like on all sides this story was really about friendship and the things we do for love. I found this to be a very cute and fun story. I chuckled quite a bit. The story is a quick read with some good dashes of paranormal and M/M.

This is the first book that I have read from Naomi Valkyrie and it will not be my last. I was pleasantly surprised to find this book ticked a lot of my favourite genre. It is the story of a curious individual named Eiren otherwise known as Lucifer and is told in two points of view the other main character is the mysterious Mordecai . This is not your average paranormal novel in the respect that is is the forming of male/male sexual relationships. In my opinion this book ended as it was just getting started and I would have liked it to be a longer read with more sex scenes, but overall it was an entertaining quick read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It’s fun, exciting and a page turner. Lucifer is such a sarcastic and sassy guy but he has a good heart. The men at Eden cove manor are dangerous and invoke fear in everyone but deep down they are romantics. Couldn’t have asked for a better ending.
