My Hidden Life: Brothers of Camelot Prequel, by Necie Navone, is the first book in the My Life Series. This coming of age/crime fiction story was well written and an instant page turner. The author delved straight into the story leaving nothing left to chance setting the stage for where we begin and what is potentially to come. I enjoyed the flow of the story and it felt well paced. Alessandra is a complicated character and Necie Navone showcases that as this story progresses. I look forward to seeing what hurdles she encounters in the subsequent stories and what growth she will experience.

This really was a beautifully written story. This is the second book that I have read by this author but this first in this prequel series to the Brothers of Camelot. I really enjoyed reading Alessandro’s story even it was emotional at times. I enjoyed reading her journey of how she became the woman I read about in The Only One. The author’s detailed writing enabled me to be fully invested in the story. I am really looking forward to the next one in the series to find out more about these great characters!

My Hidden Life by Necie Navone is A Brothers of Camelot Prequel. Alessandra learns very early on in her life how dangerous being part of her family can be. It is a lesson she is taught in the most harsh of ways. And yet Alessandra knows that she must step up to be the leader of her family, to be everything she knows she can be and more. This book was brilliant. It has you hooked immediately. The writing completely draws you in. I liked how the POV varied as it made the book even more interesting. Alessandra was a great character to read about – she was strong and determined. This was a great book and I cannot wait to read more.

This is a Coming of Age-Crime Family story that I couldn’t put down until the last page. This is my favorite yet by this author. I loved how she pulled me into the story from the first word. This is a story about a young girl whose future is to run the Canzano Family. Alessandra is a strong girl who struggles to feel normal in a normal family. There are some emotional situations that pulled at my heartstrings but they make the story into what it is. I highly recommend this book!

My Hidden Life: Brothers of Camelot Prequel (My Life Series Book 1) By: Necie Navone 5 out of 5 stars
The story My Hidden Life: Brothers of Camelot Prequel (My Life Series Book 1) by Necie Navone is a coming of age book that includes an air of suspense that sometimes has you wondering what is going to happen next. It is the story of a girl who is the Princess of the Canzano crime Family and who is the one her father has chosen to take over when the time comes. I enjoyed reading about Alessandra. She is a strong, resourceful, and confident young woman. She has learned how to defend herself from a young age and has learned how to do so very well. It is also a bit sad to read about how Alessandra’s life is so controlled. She is a girl that wants to be normal and take part in the activities that other’s her age does, however, she is finding that can never be the life that she leads. Alessandra is also not as naïve as some would believe her to be. She knows about her family and about some of the business that they in. Alessandra’s uncle is a large part of her life. The story is told from her and her uncle’s POV. She is like a daughter to him and he is very protective of her. Another part of Alessandra’s life that is sad is how her father is absent from involvement in it. He is a hard man and I found cruel at times. There are many other characters that are introduced in the story. Many of them are other family members or a few select friends that Alessandra has and interacts with. Others are there to protect her as a member of the Family. This is a story that had me hooked from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the last page. It is wonderfully written and enjoyable to read. It is a book I would recommend.

I truly enjoyed this book and the difficult task the author tackled in providing such a variety of POV while telling the story. The rich detail allowed me to easily imagine myself walking alongside the main characters and experiencing theirr lives with them. I was invested on the first page. I cannot wait to keep reading this prequel. Loved it and will highly recommend.
The Only One (Brothers of Camelot, #1) by Necie Navone 5 out of 5 stars The Only One is book one in the Brothers of Camelot series written by Necie Navone and it’s the first book that I have read by this author and it surely won’t be the last. The characters are well written with strong personalities and the banter is awesome. I really enjoyed the story plot with the Camelot fairy tale but it’s modern. I especially loved Mom Gregory and the way she accepted Fitz and mad him a part of the family. Drake, aka Fitz, was dealt a tragic hand from the beginning. He had to adjust to Pain and rejection but that all melted away when a little girl named Isabella aka Belle with huge brown eyes, strawberry blonde curls and an explosive personality, walked into his new home and his heart. They were inseparable as kids, she’s was literally ripped from his arms when they where teens. Convincing himself he’s unworthy of her, he closed himself off to all future relationships, refusing to open his heart to anyone else. If only she would come back to him. Can a man whore whose motto is “One and Done” keep it in his pants long enough to win back the trust of his childhood sweetheart? Isabella, with her unique personality, returns to her childhood town to start her own business, and prove she doesn’t need her mother, or a man, to feel complete. Thanks to her first love, her father’s betrayal and a slew of bad relationships, she’s locked her heart away, hidden behind her smile and sweet disposition. She’s found peace in her memories of Drake, hoping he’ll finally contact her, or maybe she’ll find the nerve to contact him. Can their long-lost love be rekindled or do they need a little help from their friends? I highly recommend this book and cant wait to see what Ms. Navone has in-stored for us next… By Tracy Review @tracym

The Only One is a great start to a new series by Necie Navone. I cannot wait to read more about the Camelot Brothers. It is an unexpectedly sweet romance, mixed with a lot of foul language. I loved that about it though, because it made it real and set the tone for the brother’s personalities. It was a wonderful story on its own, while introducing us to other characters that I’m sure will have their own books to follow. This is the story of Drake, aka Fitz and Isabella, aka Bella. They have a wonderful history, meeting when they were just 4 and 6 years old, and becoming instant friends. While they always seemed to love each other, they were torn apart as teens, before they had the chance to discover what could have been. Drake became a womanizer, and adopted the motto “one and done” while Isabella’s track record wasn’t much more stable, never lasting more than 3 months in a relationship. Is it fate that brings them back together? Can Isabella finally change Drake’s ways, and make him committed so they can earn a happily ever after?

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew me away. I love a good friends to lovers romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book to a new series called The Brothers of Camelot. I could not put this book down. I fell in love with these characters right from the beginning. It only took me a day to devour this amazing story.
Drake is a one and done kind of guy. He had a very tragic life when he was a boy. Drake was having a hard time adjusting to his new life until a cute little girl came into his life. Isabella and Drake were inseparable until the sad day that one of them had to leave the other. Drake is now in his mid twenties and he can’t stop thinking about his Bella. They made a vow that they will never forget eachother. When Isabella comes back into his life he doesn’t want to let her go. The only thing is they are not little anymore. They now have pasts which could lead them into danger. Will Drake and Isabella live happily ever after or will they destroy each other with their pasts?
This books was the perfect way to start a new series. The storyline has it all romance, suspense, and mystery. You will fall in love with these characters. I absolutely love Drake. He is very controlling but the way he treats Isabella will make you swoon. He would do anything to see her smile. Isabella is a beautiful woman that has a heart of gold. She wants to find the ever lasting love but she puts some walls up. You can feel the love poor out of these pages. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This talented author will keep you at the edge of your seat until the end. I can’t wait to see who this author writes about next. This is going to be a favorite series of mine. I can feel it.

The Only One by Necie Navone is book one in the Brothers of Camelot series. So basically there are 12 friends and this is Fitz’ s story. He’s literally a man whore who has a one and done policy. He’s been in love with Isabella for a really long time. Events have pushed them apart etc. I really enjoyed this story. It was a fun read and I really like the author’s style. It was easy to stay up late reading. I especially like Fitz’s meddling mom. Overall I have no complaints and would read others in the series. 4 star rating.

The Only One by Necie Navone is an easy read. It was easy to get lost in the pages of the book. Once I started this story, it was an instant hit to me. I am finding that I really do love the romance stories, BUT I need to have a little more to the story like mystery or adventure. Navone does an amazing job in creating believable characters that could be the “neighbor next store”. It was like I was right there in the background of the story watching from above the scene. There was a “brotherhood” of guys who had a hard life and really bonded to one another. Once brother, Drake (aka, Fritz) was dealt a bad hand with regards to family. He one day meets the girl next door, Isabella. They were always together until a situation ripped them apart. Isabella tried to prove that she doesn’t need a man or her mother. Drake has become this male god and really thinks highly of himself. What happens when Drake meets Isabelle will the spark that they had years before come back? Enjoy reading The Only One to find out the answer.

Necie Navone is a new to me author! I am so glad I took a chance on this author! This story had me laughing out loud, turning pages as fast as I could read the words and sighing with the sweet sexiness of it all. And now I’m patiently waiting for the next in this Brothers of Camelot series.
The story line is good. The writing is good. The characters are awesome! The main characters are Drake and Isabella. They were friends, actually, the best of friends until they were teenagers. Then time got away from them and life happened. It didn’t help that there were meddling families involved as well. They lost track of each other, each longing for the other to find them. When they get back together though, wow! And then, then this story takes a little twist that I didn’t think was going to happen. I mean the story line had the potential to go this dark way, but it wasn’t written like it was going to. So, I was taken by surprise!
Luckily both Bella and Drake have a great support system, the other Brothers of Camelot! Who doesn’t “need a little help from their friends?”

5 Stars
Oh my goodness, I loved this book and I loved the characters, and I love the whole storyline and I am so happy that there are many to follow this, telling me all of our brothers hopefully will be getting their own book.
My heart broke for Drake, his story was not something you would ever expect but if there was a silver lining it was Mom, and oh how I loved Mom, and then of course there was the brothers..I enjoyed every second of this book and when Bella literally popped back into their lives she was a sassy breath of fresh air, I loved her rants and how she pretty much had everyone scared of her..I laughed out loud more than once with all of the interaction between all of the characters.
Not sure how this author has gotten by me up until now, but I promise I will be reading all of this series and then anything else she comes out with. I’m already totally intrigued with what is to come for Grayson and Aless and why all the mystery. I think the story Im looking forward to the most is Hawkins, I already love him and just know there’s going to be tears when I get to him and that’s ok.
I read this in 2 sittings, although I wanted to read it straight through but this thing called life got in the way…I highly recommend this book, the author was able to add in just enough mystery, laugh out loud moments, a few tears, danger, and a glimpse into the lives of all of the players in this, The Brothers of Camelot series and I can not wait for more!!

The concept around it was amazing. 12 boys growing up together and they shared this massive treehouse where they had a massive round table and heard the stories of King Arthur and his knights of the round table. This helped solidify their bond until adulthood where each of them have found their passion in their company, Camelot enterprises.
Necie Navone is a new author to me but I’m completely hooked and can’t wait for more from her. This is the first book in her Brother’s of Camelot series and I’m dying to get my hand on the second one.
This story follows Drake and Isabella. Both have always had this bond but broken hearts have separated the two until they cross paths as adults. Drake has always longed for Isabella and he has always believed she is the one for him. Isabella has had a rough go with heartbreaks and they can only heal one another.
This was most definitely a 5 Star read and I can’t wait to see what Miss Navone has in store for book 2!

The Only One by Necie Navone is a great opening to her Brothers of Camelot series! I fell in love with her writing and I will be reading her My Life Series while waiting for the next installments of the series! The Only One is the story of Drake “Fitz” and Isabella “Bella” – the Beast and the Beauty … Fitz is part of a group of twelve boys – Brothers of Camelot – and they have been inseparable since they were kids. They have been able to stay true to their adopted knightly code of the Round Table and they are there for each other, no matter what! And it is not just something theoretical! They formed Camelot Enterprises where each and every one of them has their own role and it does not matter who brought in the most money … I absolutely loved this concept! Bella is … well, she is this four year old girl that fell in love with a six year old Fitz promising that she will marry him when she grows up … Well, obviously life does not very often go as we dream so Bella and Fitz got separated when Bella was seventeen and Fitz does not believe himself to be worthy of her so he adopted his infamous “One and Done” man whore principle to carry himself through life … it all grows old though and just before his 26th birthday he decides that it is time to find out where Bella is … but no more about the story, you need to pick it up yourself to find out how the story of the Beast and the Beauty ends! I loved the writing style and the banter and Bella’s inability to swear! Her tries to swear simply cracked me up! I could not put the story down and read it in one sitting and I am sooo happy that there are 12 “brothers” as now I have 11 more stories to look forward to!

The Only One (The Brothers of Camelot Book 1) by Necie Navone is a story that will blow you away and make you fall in love with these wonderful characters. Right from the start you are drawn in and find yourself wanting to be a part of their world. Necie is a talented writer and keeps the suspense flowing and emotions high. There are moments when tensions are so high I found myself on the edge of my seat. Other times I found myself laughing and thinking of good times. Overall this is a great start to the series and if the rest of the series is anything like this first book then Necie will have a winner for awards. Necie has written her heart and soul in these characters and the plot is spot on and fast paced but you are able to follow along without any problems. I need me some more of the Camelot Brothers. Well done Necie!

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I really enjoyed it. It’s the first in a new series and I will be reading future installments for sure. This was a great set-up introducing “The Brothers of Camelot”.
Each brother has a unique back story and the THE ONLY ONE introduces Fitz and Bella. SWOON. He is a classic Alpha and was fun to read.
Their story is one of humor and romance and friendship. Gosh their friendship is something that is absolutely “pinky swear” worthy.
The story held my attention all the way through and while introducing all of the subcharacters, the author was able to disclose just enough about them to make me super curious.
I look forward to reading more about the “Brothers”.

Ive never read a book by this author and after finishing it I can’t give you a reason why other than she must have been hiding from me! I really enjoyed this book overall, it only had a couple parts where it felt repetitive but it didn’t take away from the story whatsoever. This revolves around Drake and Bella, and we get dual POV for this, which I LOVE! They were childhood best friends and while Drake made it known to hop beds, Bella was always waiting for him to take the next step with her. Years pass and with a big surprise they’re reunited.
I can’t wait to read more of these Camelot brothers, it seems like such a great group and each with a story to tell.

The Only One by Necie Navone Five Stars The Only One is the first book in The Brothers of Camelot series by Necie Navone. This is the first book I have read by this author, but definitely won’t be the last. I was poked on the very first page and couldn’t put it down till the very last. I love how Ms. Navone brought these wonderful characters to life and can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series to see how the other Brothers of Camelot fair. I love the quick wit and the way Bella is so creative with her swearing. The chemistry between Bella is 100% off the charts, and they just meld together as a couple. I love how down to earth all of the characters are. This book flowed so well that I read it in one sitting. Necie Navone has definitely made it on to my must read authors list with this book. This book had my emotions going from laughing out loud to reaching for a tissue, and that is what truly makes a five star book for me. I highly recommend this book and I’m looking forward to digging into the next book in this series soon.

The Only One (The Brothers of Camelot Book 1) By Necie Navone 5 Stars
I was truly amazed to find that this is the first book out by Necie Navone. The Only One was extremely well written and a joy to read. Interesting characters, witty banter, sexiness galore with a hint of mystery. Who could ask for anything more in a book?
Drake (aka Fitz) is the first of the Camelot Brothers we are introduced to. A rough childhood, Fitz never got close to anyone. He was a love’em and leave’em guy and was satisfied with his life until a special girl from his past walks back into his life and turns it upside down.
Isabella has a truly unique personality and outlook on life. Whereas her rich socialite mother is only concerned with money and status, Isabella wants more from her life. Determined to show everyone she is her own person, she returns to her childhood town and the memories she has of a boy named Drake. Can these two heal each other’s damaged hearts and rekindle their lost love?
From the very beginning, the reader is pulled into the lives of the wonderful characters Ms. Navone brings to the pages. The interaction between not just the main characters but the sub-characters snared me as a reader and I could not put the book down. Ms. Navone maintains a good flow throughout the book which made this a fun easy read. I am definitely looking forward to more from this author and from this series. Truly a great find and fabulous read for a first-time author!

The Only One is book one in the Bothers of Camelot series by Necie Navone. This is a new author for me, an author who is exciting and brings something new and addictive to my bookshelf. It was such a thrill to read and get to know the plethora of remarkable characters i could not help falling in love with. I hung off every word written, rejoiced every triumph, and mourned every loss. In other words, I felt it all! Necie Navone dragged a lot of emotion from me, the biggest being blissful happiness.
Fitz and Bella. What a pair. What a love story. I instantly became bewitched by their story. It was heartwarming, it was hilarious, it was passionate, emotional and deep. Their love began to grow early, and even distance could not extinguish the flame that smouldered between them. My heart was full to bursting, and the more their story evolved, the more I loved them. To be soul mates after so many years apart, and not once did their feelings for each other change, was an unforgettable experience for me. This will be a story I can reread over and over, as a love story like theirs never fails to move me beyond words and crave the next story. This style of writing never ages, as the story of love is eternally craved. 5 stars.

The Only One is the first book in the Brothers of Camelot by Necie Navone. It appears this is also the first book released. I’m so glad I was able to discover her early. If this first book is any indication I see her quickly becoming quite popular.
Drake Gregory-Fitzpatrick is the hit it and quit it kind of guy. He refuses to open his heart since it still belongs to his first love. He has his childhood band of brothers to spend time with and keep an eye out for one another. This group of twelve guys is an amazingly tight group of and have been for over twenty years.
Bella met Fitz when she was all of four years old. After time away from one another their paths cross only to discover how bumpy that path is.
I loved each one of the guys for different reasons. I think Hawkins is my favorite so far and I can’t wait to read his story but I’m just as excited about the other ten stories.

“Can a man whore whose motto is “One and Done” keep it in his pants long enough to win back the trust of his childhood sweetheart?”
… And just like that it was an instant must read for me! Something about that bad boy meets the one who can finally tame him always hooks me in. One thing I had no idea to expect however, was how much I was going to be in trouble when I picked this up. It would appear that I am invested for a long time in Necie Navone and her Brothers of Camelot. It is looking like we may have at least twelve brothers we will get stories about! I was completely new to Necie Navone as an author all together when I picked up “The Only One” too so I can’t wait to see what else she has available!
In “The Only One” we get up close and personal (Very! Like have a tall glass of water nearby!) With Drake. He is quite the playboy. His childhood sweetheart and first love, Isabella, always on the back of his mind, but his heart closed for anyone but her, he has built a life without her. She hasn’t had an easy life and has suffered heartache after heartache. Both of them are about to cross paths again. Will they be able to give love a second chance? I adored these two. They were so connectable and realistic characters. I also enjoyed the side characters as well, which excited me because I am now more so looking forward to getting more of those novels about the other brothers and ‘family’. Thanks for a fab start to a series and a great read Necie Navone!

The Only One (The Brothers of Camelot Book 1) by Necie Navone. I loved this book. Its the story of Drake aka Fitz who has a horrible start at life but is accepted into a family that Doctor aka Mom loves him unconditionally, his father not so much. Fitz is the product of a love affair and his mom was not the most pristine. She eventually dies and Fitz is thrown into this new family. He meets Isabella aka Bella when he is very young and she melts his heart then and there. He’s loved her ever since. He still sleeps around but not with his Bella, she is his pure, true love. Bella is from a wealthy family who goes out on her own and builds a business for herself all on her own, a daycare! She moves back to her hometown and meets Fitz again. Will they continue their love story or will Bella’s ex mess things up for them. This is the sweetest story and I read it in one sitting! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

Necie Navone’s The Only One is the first in The Brothers of Camelot series. This is a contemporary romantic suspense that focuses on Fitz/Drake and Isabella. Along with them there is a colorful cast of supporting characters with strong and crazy and unique personalities that set them each apart that are within the Brother of Camelot family. I found this story full of laughter within scenes while others drew more seriousness. The author did a great job of capturing those emotional responses in just the right ways. Being the first book within the series it did a great job combining a lot of base information on characters while portraying the main story at the same time. After reading The Only One, I cannot wait to see what is coming ahead in future book(s) in The Brothers of Camelot series.

“These twelve boys were inseparable as they grew up, always together and causing a ruckus. To keep them out of trouble, Mom Gregory had the perfect playground built in her backyard, including a massive tree house. She included a large wooden round table, telling them the story of the Knights of the Round Table. They played knights every chance they could, at first with cardboard shields and swords and then with plastic costume pieces. The neighbors grew accustomed to seeing the boys running through the neighborhood, fighting enemies and for their honor. The boys adopted a knightly code to always be honest with each other, no matter what, and that all decisions are to be made by unanimous vote. They pledged always to be there when one of them was in need. Pricking their fingers and sealing the pact with a blood oath, they kept their promise from childhood into adulthood Years later….. they formed Camelot Enterprises. Each Brother found the role that fit them, from Camelot Security to Camelot Bar and Club, Camelot Construction to Camelot Law Firm. The Brothers have maintained their promise to each other and are just as close as when they were boys playing knights. The round table may have gotten larger, but the pact they made as boys still stands.”
The Only One is the first book in the Brothers of Camelot by Necie Navone. Ms. Navone is a new to me author, but one whom I will definitely be following and reading much more of in the future. This was a surprising find, I didn’t expect to like it quite as much as I did. I loved the cover and the blurb intrigued me, so I knew I would enjoy the story- but I wasn’t prepared for the characters and the story to grab me quite as much as they did. I found Ms. Navone to be a wonderful storyteller, weaving a superb story that plucked at my heart strings, while creating characters who really took on a life of their own- coaxing me into their world end enticing me farther and farther into the book, making me need to know how everything works out. Because of this, I found myself reading long into the night, finishing the book in one sitting, just so I could find out what happened. It was easy to forget the world around me while I was glued to the pages, the story had me firmly in its hold….. and I enjoyed every minute! The book is quite funny, with funny references such as the Henry Peter Longfellow scene, Bella’s cussing attempts (such as, Fudge Boogers) and quite a few funny anecdotes, banter, and teasing. The story was fun and romantic- but there was also an element of suspense and drama that kept things very interesting. Ms. Navone has a sexy and inviting style that really brought the story to life and added some park and sizzle to the whole thing. I loved meeting Bella, Drake, and the rest of the cast- and I can’t wait to read the other Brothers of Camelot’s stories! This book has set the whole series off to a wonderful start! Bring on the next book!

I LOVED this story! It is definitely one of the best stories that I have read this year! I was hooked from the very beginning and I really didn’t want it to end. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the series! The writing was excellent, the characters were amazing! I loved reading Drake and Bella’s story, it was emotional but the connection they had was just amazing. A fantastic friends to lovers story. The secondary characters in the story were also really good and they complemented the main characters so well. The Only One is a beautifully written story that I absolutely adored. I cannot recommend it enough and I am looking forward to the next one!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The plot moves at a steady pace and gives us some very likeable and relatable characters. The Brothers of Camelot are a wide assortment of guys that are introduced to the reader and generate an entertaining universe for the reader. This look at Fitz and Isabella provides two strong willed characters that couldn’t be any more opposite. I enjoyed this book and found the plot to move quickly. It grabbed my attention immediately. I will definitely recommend this to others.

The Only One by Necie Navone is the fiesta book on the Brothers of Camelot series. A story of two people torn apart, desperate to find their way back to each other. Fits and Isabella were inseparable as kids. Until life tears them, literally, apart from each other. The years are not kind to either of them – doing all it can to destroy their belief in themselves. So when Isabella moves back to her home town if may be the chance at a new beginning for them. But with everything that has happened things might not be all that simple. Will they be able to find each again? And if they do, can they be the same to each other as they were all those years ago?
I knew I would like this book right from the start. The first few pages grabbed my attention and the rest of the book made sure not to let go. The connection between these characters is palpable and so utterly enthralling. Everything in me wanted them to be able to find a way to make things work for them. This also ha to be one of the best book covers I’ve seen for a while. It catches your eye so easily, draws you in and propels you into a great story. This book is well worth reading.

The Only One (The Brothers of Camelot Book 1) By: Necie Navone 5 out of 5 stars
The story The Only One (The Brothers of Camelot Book 1) by Necie Navone is a romance book that I loved reading. It is an amazing story that hooked me in from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put down until I had read the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Drake and Isabella. Drake, who is also known as Fitz, is a man that has casual hook-ups. He doesn’t do relationships or have attachments to women. There has only been one girl who he has ever given his heart to. What would happen if the two of them meet again? Isabella is a woman who is strong, independent, and runs a successful business. She is also stubborn, sassy, and sarcastic. She is someone who can stand up for herself. She still thinks of Drake. Both Drake and Isabella were best friends since the day they meet when only children. He holds on to his memories of her. Even though so much time has passed since they have seen each other is there a chance that these two could rekindle their long-lost love? Read this book to find out. This is a story about the strong bonds of family and friends. It also had me believing in true love. There are scenes that warm your heart and others that had me with a smile on my face. The interactions between the characters can get quite humorous and at times sarcastic. I enjoyed reading about the strong bonds that tie some of the characters together and how they constantly tease one another. There is a feeling of family and also that any of them would go to any lengths to protect one other. This story also has some very steamy scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. This is a wonderfully written book with amazing characters. I highly recommend reading it.
