Like the previous three books in this series this book was a perfect Greek mythology book to read this weekend. This final book to the series was packed with so much emotion, drama, steamy scenes and of course all of our favorite characters. While I was reading through this final novel I found myself thinking that there was no way that Vanessa and all of her friends stories could get wrapped up but boy was I wrong. The ending to this series is possibly one of the most perfectly ended stories I have ever read. But will Vanessa be able to aquire the box without the help of her three Gods? Will her God’s finally face their mothers? If they do will there be consequences for them and for Vanessa? You’ll have to read the book to find out for yourself.

I have been trying to branch out lately and read books that are very different than my typical go to genre of psychological thrillers. I am not a religious or particularly spiritual person, so I went into this book with very minimal background knowledge. Reading this book for me was purely out of interest, not necessarily to follow the practices. That all said it was very enjoyable! It’s fun to look into a different way of life and I assume those more knowledgeable than myself would find it to be a great read as well.

I have been waiting for this book! Raef! Need I say more. Seriously though I love all the characters but Raef is my favorite and this book was so worth the wait. This series is the perfect mixture of mythology, devotion, and passion.

Caspian is given an ultimatum that threatens to take away everything he has worked for. Paisley is struggling and just can’t get ahead. The outcome is a story that I just couldn’t put down! At the start of this book, I thought this was going to be low plot, high smut, which has its time and place so I would not have been upset. I didn’t expect to feel so much for the main characters or their struggles. The story took a turn and tugged on some heart strings along the way. Definitely still a spicy book, but the love story makes it that much better! Will be keeping my eyes open for more from this author, no doubt.

I thought this book was a great read. Luke is in a band with a few other men who are like family to him. Luke is going thru some stuff and he can’t help all these feelings he has. He is a widow but, he’s not alone. He has his beautiful daughter he needs to care for and love.
Nikki is a nanny who is going thru some stuff Also. Everyone has a past but, not everyone can’t leave that stuff behind and start fresh. I thought this book was perfectly written. There was a lot of info the author gave the reader so nothing was left to questions. I loved the characters and I love how this book came together. Definitely a 5 star read for me.

Starting out, this book got me with the synapsis. I started reading and it drew me in even more. Getting to read about the Italian magic was interesting. Seeing the female lead going through struggles to what she thought was mental illness and turned out not to be was thrilling and amazing. I’m glad I gave this book a chance. The writing was done beautifully, and I could see the book playing in my mind. The story progressed at a well pace, it wasn’t too fast or too slow. The characters were relatable and I could connect with them. I suggest reading this book and giving it a chance! You won’t regret it!

Wow! This is my first book by this author and I loved it! If I could give it ten stars I would! She really knows how to build a world that makes you see every stunning detail in your mind’s eye. This story is told in first person POV but the intricacies of every character are well fleshed out. I read this book not once but twice, back to back because I wanted to absorb absolutely every single detail. Dahlia Nite is such a strong character and brings not only her world, but our world to life in a way not only leaves you wanting more but leaves you wanting to read it again just to take it all in. Full of fantasy, fun, wit, violence and intrigue you won’t regret giving yourself over to this urban fantasy tale!

This was a powerful conclusion to the duet! The rollercoaster ride this duet took the reader on was- woah! I was drawn in from the beginning and went through many tissues throughout the end. Will and Tori were crafted so beautifully in this. I look forward to reading more by this author. This book was emotionally draining in the best of ways.

I really enjoy books of this genre. Caspian is one of those alpha males that you love to hate. Usually, the alpha redeems his behavior but that didn’t really happen with this book. That is something different and I’m not completely sure how I feel about it. Especially since I loved Paisley so much. I would definitely read more by this author and would love to see where other storylines fall in this series.

Dahlia is a dragon-shifter, who strives to keep the human world blissfully ignorant of the supernatural world. I was completely sucked in. I had a hard time putting it down and had to force myself into civilization. Very well put together story. I love a good dragon story.

Full of very dark and confronting violent and sexual scenes, but oh so good. Not a read for people with triggers. I could not put this book down from the moment I picked it up! The unbelievable chemistry, emotional pull and whirlwind pace had me hooked… My heart was beating outside my chest most of the time. Character angst can go either way for me but this was just so well written.
I loved everything about this book! The author has created so much depth in the story, I was sucked into the world created within. Suspense, Action, Drama and Magic- it has all the necessities for a perfect fantasy novel and written beautifully. I love the intrigue and mystery put into the main character Ian, and his development over the course of the book. Definitely a must read for Fantasy lovers.

I have read the first three books in this series and I have really enjoyed them but I think book four is the best. This is a hot and steamy paranormal book with a little bit of mother-in-law troubles(lol). This author does an excellent job of pulling you in with her writing, and you won’t want to put it down. The characters are amazing with their little quirks it makes them seem real.
I can’t believe this is the last book in the series and I can’t see what this author has in stored for us. Maybe we will see these four in the future….

Vanessa Maan is back and is still surrounded by both mortals and Immortals, more of the latter mainly and some of whom she wishes she wasn’t around, but after she wakes up with her gentleman Raef in a sumptuous bed, she prepares for the day in more ways than one. Unexpectedly though, she finds herself hungry, which is unusual for a dead person, however being away from the Underworld can apparently do that to you, so after she eats breakfast with Raef, Grey and the newly reunited Gods Aroz and Antaroz, she goes to pick up the object she needs to return to the Underworld, but it looks different and before she knows it, she is being whisked away again!
When she arrived at her destination, she can’t believe her eyes, it is the hairdressers she used to work at, however this one is made of ice and as soon as she enters it and comes face to face with a other Goddess she has annoyed, she knows that another task is probably coming her way. This isn’t the first book by the author that I’ve read. Each of the Her Three Immortals books keep getting better. The Box is about all of them and is an amazing book. The author knows how to keep the readers interested.
Vanessa is sent from her Gods and is now in front of Aroz’s mother. As Vanessa puts it, The Ice Witch (change w to b) sent her on another task after destroying the vial. Now Vanessa’s got to appease both the Ice Witch and Grey’s mother. The quote I chose for Vanessa is: “If I’d been thinking…Ugh. It’s not like I didn’t know he was alive and that Gorgonita turned living beings into stone. I just got used to not having to worry about it in the Underworld, and…Poof! Raef appears, alive and well, until I introduced them.”
Grey is worried about Vanessa when she disappears from him and his brothers. He then says that he’ll talk to his mother while Aroz talks to his mother. Grey is stuck in the Other world until Dorian completes his end of the bargin. The quote I chose for Grey is: “Dorian. Forget it. You have twelve hours to find your last tainted soul. And remember, they must be willing. I will not sign a contract with anyone who has been coerced. I’m going to get some rest, assuming your mother will let me back into her house. Raef is tired of being mortal while his brothers are immortal. He tries to off himself once he knows that Vanessa has been sent on another mission. The quote I chose for Raef is: “Disaster averted. Aroz goes to talk to his mother only to be trapped. He is trying to get out of the cage so he can help Vanessa. His mother doesn’t know that he and Bow are now one. If you missed my title – TRIGGER WARNING. There are multiple scenes of explicit abuse and torture in this book, and very harsh situations throughout.
If you can get beyond your discomfort of the graphic scenes described, this book has some really great character development. The opening finds you watching Elizabeth Finley as she spies on the spies, curious about their reality. Once she meets Alex, her life takes a pretty dramatic turn. Liz’s character development is strong, and the author doesn’t sway too far into helpless damsel, as many books in this genre tend to do. You delve into her mind and begin to understand her as she undergoes some graphic torture scenes. She makes for a very beautiful heroine of the book and comes upon a big surprise in the end.
This is a wonderful story of a young boy, Lucas, who starts to question the existence of Santa Clause. This book is perfect for 7-10 year olds, when they start to ask those tough questions about the magic of Christmas. My boys aren’t quite old enough yet, but I will be holding on to this book for the next year or 2 when my oldest gets curious. This book also hit home with me, to guard the dream and keep the spirit of Christmas alive. “There will always be a Santa Clause as long as children believe, and people like you guard the dream.”

Enzo and Sophie have been friends since what seems forever and as children when one day they were attacked they pledged that day a blood oath that they would protect each other if they were ever in trouble. Although secretly they have loved each other all the years they have never pushed.
When Sophie is in danger, can Enzo be the one to protect her and will he be able to show her his true feelings.
Can I just say whenever I read any series or story by this author it does never disappoint and this one is just as brilliant.
The characters are well developed and brings to life one of the secondary characters from the first book which is brilliant to see. I loved the way these characters interacted and the chemistry was off the charts, the story wound through each of there lives and gave you the history of these two wonderful in depth relationship.
I can’t wait to read the next in this series or any other book by this author.

I’m always one for a good romance and this one felt like it followed the typical romance plotline BUT I felt like it also carried more substance than a lot of romance novels do with the addition of the illness. This is one of the few books I’ve read recently that really pulled me in and had me attached to the characters from the jump.
Tori works as a hospital psychologist and has taken up the duty of helping certain patients walk through their end-of-life journey. Though it isn’t easy to do, she holds the mission dear to her heart. Her friend Jenny who works in oncology brings her in on a case and she meets Will, a young man, who is dying of cancer and from his viewpoint has nothing left to live for. So much so that he has signed a DNR and managed to push all of his friends and family out of his world, in order to spare them the pain of watching him die. He keeps Tori at arms length at first but as she continues to work with him he begins to soften and she is able to help him understand that pushing people away is hurting him more than anyone else. As they work together they form a friendship and eventually a relationship.
It is a very sweet romantic story given the state of the patient and, while it has its moments, keeps the over-the-top lustfulness to a minimum which was refreshing to me. The book is ended with a cliffhanger good enough that I immediately bought the second book. The book is well written and well researched and has a very good grasp on the cycle that dying patients and their loved ones go through in the end. I was drawn in by the characters and kept turning pages because of the great storyline. I would recommend this book.

This is the first book by Nicole Richard that I have read so I was unsure what to expect. A Sweet Christmas is a quick, easy read with an understandable story and characters. This book was like a Hallmark Christmas movie! It was spicy and sweet but a little too predictable for my taste, but if you enjoy Christmas romance books, A Sweet Christmas is definitely a good one! Nicole Richard does a great job of developing the characters and the story quickly. I did enjoy the overall style of writing and will look into some of Nicole Richard’s other books.

Shadows of Doubt: A Crawford Mystery by Merissa Racine is a very interesting story. I really like Lauren and her fun way of getting into the trouble she finds as a court reporter.
I was slowly pulled more and more into this story, wanting to see how things would turn out. I thought Lauren was such a good man character. For me, she brought the story to life and added so much to it. She was engaging throughout and just a likable character. The book is full of twists and turns, which really keeps you involved in the book. This is a great story that I thoroughly enjoyed.

This is the first book in a new series, each of which can be read as a stand-alone. I had read a couple of this author’s books before and had really enjoyed them so was looking forward to getting into a new series by her. I can say that this book did not disappoint. I think that this is now my favourite of those that I have read so far. Caspian Archer has been acting CEO of his uncle’s company for some time and is not impressed when he is informed that to get the job permanently then he has to get married and stay married for at least a year and a day. A chance meeting with his childhood friend Paisley Fischer who is struggling financially leads to him making a proposition to her – marry him. I really loved reading Caspian and Paisley’s story. Both are amazing characters and I could have read about them for hours and hours. The story grabbed me from the very beginning and was fast flowing and really kept me hooked right up to the end. I enjoy reading a good fake romance story and this book is a great example of that trope and I would definitely recommend it to other readers.

Well the was completely unexpected!!! Who would have thought that a woman can bring the MC president to his knees, (in a good way) This book was unlike any other MC book I’ve ever read (listened to) First of the FMC is amazing!!! She is strong willed, independent and just plain badass but she also has her vulnerable side. Then there’s Drummer!! Yummmm if you look up alpha male in ther dictionary you’ll find a picture of him. This is an enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance, with a marriage of convenience theme. Caspian Archer lives a life full of luxuries but suddenly his life could change for the worse, if he doesn’t fulfil his uncle’s dying wish in order to secure his inheritance. Caspian must find true love and stay married for a year, and so he starts to look for a women who will agree to a marriage of convenience. Paisley Fischer has no money, has been evicted and will soon be paying for her mothers medical care, as her insurance benefits are running out. When childhood friend Caspian gives her an unconditional offer, to cover her mother’s care, provide a Manhattan penthouse and give her one million dollars, Paisley can’t refuse. All she has to do is pretend to be happily married to Caspian for a year and not get emotionally involved. I loved Paisley and Caspian’s story and really felt for Paisley in her situation. Although their romance is a slow burn, the couple’s chemistry did come across in the story, and I liked how how their relationship developed over the year. I was kept happily turning the pages by the plot twists and found this to be an easy and enjoyable read.

What could you not love with this series? There is mythology, sass, smexy love, intrigue, drama, moms that make you somewhat thankful for your in-laws lol and so much more! I just can’t get enough and with this fourth book I was expecting a lot and got even MORE! As I mentioned this being the fourth book I would highly recommend that you start with that first book and at the beginning of the journey if you haven’t yet done so because this one builds with each book and each does have a slight cliffy ending. I saw small hints of a fifth book and am keeping my fingers crossed that we get one because these books and characters have stolen my heart and I can definitely say I am completely addicted. I can only hope we get some more exciting reads soon!

This is a go to author for me so when I saw this was the first book in a new series I jumped on it and I was so glad that I did. Everything from the exquisite cover that sucked me in to the fast and quite complicated story behind it was absolutely wonderful. I loved the idea that this had multiple different aspects so it wasnt your typical billionaire romance or just your second chance romance it was layered and that made it even more enthralling. This is something this author excels at. Caspian and Paisley are the MCs that we get to fall in love with, and I must say I loved Paisley not so much Caspian lol. Paisley was relatable and she stayed true to herself and stood her ground. Caspian did as well but he never once apologized or changed. He was a jerk with a mission and he stuck to it. I look forward to seeing what we get in future novels!

I really enjoyed this story. It is fast paced and the author does an amazing job with the characters. Both characters are strong in their own way and how their stories and lives come together is special.
Caspian is an amazing businessman. But married to his job he doesn’t entertain a relationship well apart from the no string attached ones. However his life is about to change when his uncles give him an ultimatum as his dying wishing, find a wife or lose the business. Now Caspian is in a race against time to find someone to marry. It can be anyone after all it only needs to last 1 year and 1 day. And who needs to marry for love.
Paisley is really down on her luck. A struggling artist her life keeps going from back to worse. With her mother in a coma and her medical bills as well as Paisley’s own bills to survive, she is at breaking point. How on earth is she going to cope and find the money to pay everything. After visiting her mum a chance meeting with a old school friend could offer her the solution she needs. But marrying someone and getting paid for it seems crazy and too good to be true.
Now they are both on a journey into married life. Learning how to live together and realising that marriage is hard and to a stranger is even harder. With the thought that this is a temporary arrangement on both their minds how do they react when feelings go from being an act to the real thing?
