I was so excited for Book 2. I absolutely loved Book 1. Time Traveling Historical Romance? YES! It’s right up my alley. I wasn’t sure what to expect in book 2, I was kind of worried that it wouldn’t be as good as the first one. It was so great! I was not disappointed; I think my expectations were exceeded! This was such a well-told story. I felt all the emotions here, I felt what Kat and Philip were feeling. The writing was so well done that I felt like a fly on the wall watching it all happen. Pick up both books, you won’t be disappointed. This will quickly become one of your favorite book series and a new favorite author.

This one was even better than the first I would say! This one was more dependent on the character traits and their love, it was very real, this is a story I shall not forget anytime soon, the emotions, they were so real, I felt so many things, the tears I shed were real, it was a emotional read, but a very good read!
Tori and Will had a love like no other in the previous. In this one Tori gets hope within her that Will may have a chance to beat this cancer and they can have the life they dreamed of. Is hope enough though? Is these extra trials something Will would really want? Will gives everything his all, but sadly things take a worst turn with regards to his immune system. It was heartbreaking to see Will and Tori fighting so hard for their love, knowing they may never get the life they dream of and deserve. I loved the more depth we got of them both as characters, I felt I knew Tori and Will, but as I read on they were more amazing than I ever thought possible. The love they had and shared was real, and it was better than any love story I could have ever hoped for.
I cried a lot while reading, there was sad and heartbreaking moments and there was beautiful moments as gorgeous as a new say sunrise! Their love was real, and it was an amazing read, and this is a story I will not let go of for quite some time. This book taught me things I needed to remind myself about life and love. It was a breath taking book and beautiful. I wish the novel could have lasted longer, I was co connected to them and the other supporting characters, this was a love story that some of us really want but only get to imagine and long for! Tori and Will though they met under circumstances that were not the ideal or what was expected, the outcome went beyond that and more. Their love and connection was beautiful and real. It was real. Read this and feel those emotions, I speak of, you will understand…
Again this emotional impact of a story is one that is not to be missed. It is a book everyone should read. It really sucks you in and takes you feel things and think on things you never thought possible. The love was shining through the pages of this amazing book. Will and Tori were a dynamic duo that met when they least expected, even if the timing was not right, their love was. It was a story that made me cry and and again, but made me feel so much bliss at the same time. Please read this, you wont regret it
I simply loved this gripping book, and how the book takes off and how it soars basically from there, I was very impressed, and consumed into the story line, it was a great start to a series for me, I will be for sure reading the next installments. The author knew how to write a very much captivating novel!
Dahlia was such an awesome and strong character She was not a force to be reckoned with I loved how she was a from two different more less creatures of this Earth. She lived her life thinking one thing, then to her surprise not everything was what it seemed, I could even feel her shock and the feelings associated with it. I connected to her so easily, I felt I was right there with her even though the very much action scenes! She was strong as said, she faced many things, is the true danger out there in the world and the creatures she faces or is the battle of belonging the one creature she will need all her wit against?
The story was full of action, and suspense that kept on going, which I loved. It was never really a dull moment when reading this book. it kept me hooked and on the edge wanting to know more and what the next events would lead to. Things happened drastically, but I will say when I came to the end, I know more questions will develop in the next novel, and I can not wait to get my hands on it and read it!
Wonderful suspenseful writing. The author is very talented to say for sure, and wrote a very gripping amazing novel. I simply loved it and it was the perfect blend of fantasy and suspense. I could not get enough of this book and Dahlia! High recommendation, this is not one to be missed!

5 Stars Whatever Tomorrow Brings (Embrace Tomorrow Duet Book 2) by Amy Argent
Whatever Tomorrow Brings is the second book in the Embrace Tomorrow Duet by Amy Argent. I absolutely loved this book just as much as the first one. I highly recommend reading this in order as this one picks up where the first one left off . I pretty much tuned everything around me out. I found myself lost in the pages while reading through teary eyes. Some were very happy tears while some were sad tears. I loved everything about this book from the wonderfully written characters to the amazing storyline . Amy Argent knocked it out of the park with one . Get ready to be taken on one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride with this one. Grab some kleenex because you’ll need them. I’m not going to give anything away but I will say this ,I highly recommend reading this book you won’t be disappointed I know I sure wasn’t. Im looking forward to reading more from this Author.

The author begins this book by saying that all books are magical, I most definitely agree, and as you can guess this one is absolutely brimming with magic.
I picked up this book looking for something different to slightly challenge the normal, and this book certainly achieved that. It can be slightly repetitive at times, although I do think the messages are important ones. I would say that this book might not be for everyone, you need to have an open mind and a curiosity for finding the magic within your own life. If that’s the case, you will really enjoy this book. This is my first time reading anything of this style or genre, but I will certainly be open to reading and learning more.

With this being the last book of this series, I have so many mixed emotions. The storyline has been amazing from start to finish and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to read every word. Each book is a perfect continuation from the last. There is nothing that remains unknown while the stories are going on and it is fascinating to read the scenes happening from each person’s perspective. In this final installment, we are able to see Vanessa’s final test and what will happen should she complete it. Once again, there are mothers at play attempting to stand in the way of divine true love for the most selfish of reasons. There is drama from the first page until the very end and it will keep you on the edge of your seat! Raef deals with his mother – as do the others – and they all come to realize that the truth of their abilities and capabilities far surpasses the “truths” that they have known for as long as they can remember. We finally see what will become of Dorian’s deal with the Underworld God. So much happens in this final story. The author truly wrapped most everything up in a beautiful way and left me craving more of the story in the future. While there are no real cliffhangers, I long to see what becomes of the information that we are left with and the characters as they go through their new normal. I am also left wondering what will become of Gorgonita and what the final interaction that we see truly means. If you have yet to read this series, start with book one and don’t stop until you finish it all! You will not regret it.

This is the second book in this charming, time traveling, magical duet! Phillip and Kat are perfect for each other and in trying to stay together they struggle to find the right time to be in. Emotions soar in this tale of true love that truly stands the test of time. I found myself laughing, crying and in the grips of the story unable to contain the sighs and gasps as the twists and turns unfolded. This duet is on my list of top ten favorites!!! Grab some tea, your favorite snack and get ready to sink in!

This was a great conclusion to the Her Three Immortals series! It was a very enthralling, entertaining and quick read. This book is just like the others in the series, and has all you can ever want from a book series. These books have spice, they’re entertaining, they have humor, they’re inspirational and the events are quick so it doesn’t feel like you’re reading this book forever. I’m so glad I decided to pick up this series! I can’t say which book is my favorite but I really did enjoy this book. I feel like the ending was absolutely perfect. If you like spicy books with an entertaining storyline this is the series for you! And this is not a standalone series, each book needs to be read to understand what happens. I can not wait to read the “spin-offs” that are coming for this series!

I will be completely honest, I was several chapters in when I realized I goofed and started with the fourth book in the series. I have a bad habit of liking covers and diving right in. With that said, STILL this book was amazing. Fantasy novels just take me on a wild ride every time. I’m sure I would have appreciated this story even more and understood things better if I had started from the very beginning with book one, and I fully intend on going back to the start as soon as I’m done writing this review! The world created was fantastic. All the different elements of the story brought together, the characters I met late to the game but still loved. I can’t wait to read this book again once I read the first three!

Conveniently Yours (Titans Of Manhattan BOOK 1) by Anise Storm
5 out of 5 Stars
WOW! This book is emotionally charged, steamy, and ah-maze-zing!!! To be completely honest, I had a little difficulty getting into the first chapter, but then, once I started reading the second, third, fourth, and fifth chapters I could not put it down. I was in. I agonized with Paisley. I was furious at Caspian. I gasped at Candy’s brazen behavior. I cried for Maureen. I wanted to throw things, like punches, at Preston!
Caspian Archer is nearly at the top of his game. He has everything he wants except the CEO title his uncle is about to give him. Caspian loves his millionaire lifestyle, Park Avenue penthouse, several friends with benefits that know it will never be more, great friends, a seat on the Board of Archer Industries and the power that goes along with it. Preston, Caspian’s uncle, suddenly puts a clause in his will that states that Caspian has to marry and remain so for one year or he won’t get the CEO title. Preston has stated that he would even sell the company. Caspian is at a loss.
Paisley Fischer has reached the end of her limits. Paisley is working to pay her mother’s hospital bills and the care is getting more expensive. None of Paisley’s art is selling at the gallery where she works. Her rent is due and she is not sure there is enough to pay it. She doesn’t know what she is going to do until she, literally, gets knocked down by fate. Paisley and Caspian were drawn to each other as children growing up in the same neighborhood. Now he has asked her to help fulfill his uncle’s demand.
Paisley and Caspian have a past but can they have a future?
This author has wrung all of the feels out of me again. I can’t wait for the second installment of this series.

This story was very intense as well as sometimes frustrating. A classic tale of an arrogant alpha male that doesn’t want to be tied down, while wanting all the benefits that come with a marriage. I am always intrigued how they come to fall in love when their relationship begins as a convenience. Caspian and Paisley were a delight to read about. Immersing myself in this story was effortless and a real eye opener. Original and dramatic, their path to happiness was not all romance and roses. It was hard fought. As the best ones are. This was no exception. The emotional pull was alluring and arousing. A clever and masterful tale that will be hard to forget. 5 stars.

Like books or movies of this sort, you’re unsure if you can believe what these characters are asking of one another. Upon further reading, you realize that they’re in over their head or exactly what the other needs. I enjoyed the book but feel like there should have been more effort in Caspian making up with Paisley. This book was an enjoyable read nonetheless.

I can’t wait to follow this series! Joe Grace has finally hit the big time in his band, Gracefall, where he is the drummer. He has everything he could ever want…except THE girl – his best friend, Mel. Mel’s father is a rock legend, as well as the one who taught Joe everything he knows about the world of rock n roll – including the lifestyle.
Mel has sworn to never date a rocker after watching what it did to her parents. Joe has never wanted to hurt Melody, and she is his endgame. They both look at past experiences in their lives to lead them to make the choices they have. Will becoming Gracefall’s tour manager give them the opportunity to get to know each other on a romantic level amongst all the sizzling chemistry, or will it push them towards others? Will tragedy lead them to being together and making their relationship stronger than ever? This book is definitely worth the read to answer your questions.

While I have read a couple of stories by this author previously the synopsis on this novel had me incredibly intrigued before even reading the first page. Full of a billionaire romance, a marriage of convenience, emotions, drama, and so much more this book really had me on the edge of my seat. Not only does this author give us an incredible plot, but she gives us fantastic characters with interesting back stories. Caspian is a handsome billionaire that needs to find a wife, whole Paisley is a beautiful girl who is down on her luck and running out of options. What happens when their paths cross? What happens when emotions become involved? You’ll have to read this novel to find out for yourself.

When I read the blurb for this book I didn’t hesitate to grab a copy to dive into. It teased me with all the ingredients I look for in a dark romance. As dark romance is one of my favourite (sub) genres to read I am always on the look-out for more, and I have devoured more than my fair share of them. So, I was excited to find a new (to me) author to add to my collection. Not having read any of her work before, I wasn’t sure what to expect from one of her stories, but like I said, the story held the promise of being dark and delicious, so I lept into the story. While I did like the story, I will be honest and say that unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations and didn’t quite deliver on the promise held in the synopsis, either, for me. The beginning was slow to get going and then later when the pace did pick up, there were parts that still lagged/dragged. Then there were parts where the writing felt choppy or stilted, and some of the transitions from scene to scene, or character POV’s were quite abrupt. Again, this is just how I felt while reading it. I seem to be an exception to the rule, as I notice most other reader reviews for this story are quite glowing. But for me there were a few too many issues that pulled me out of the story and, quite frankly, left me a little disappointed. But maybe it is just me. This is a dark romance with espionage, mafia, action, violence, brutality, dramatic moments, tension, and suspense. There are scenes that may trigger some readers, so be warned…

This delightful, feel-good book was just what I needed to put me into the holiday spirit. The quick banter of the characters, from the very beginning made me smile. The author invoked the spirit of a good Hallmark movie onto the pages of this deliciously magical story. But don’t be confused this story line has some truly, steamy moments. The book made me smile and I kept reading to find out if things were too good to be true.
Strong start to a mafia series! Suspense, politics, a large cast of characters (both likeable and ones you love to hate), assasins, mafia princesses, arranged marriages, bodyguards…this book has so many aspects that keep you enthralled, and it’s put together beautifully by an author who knows how to keep you involved in her world. Lil is an excellent female protaganist, Max is a dominant alpha male, and this story is an enthralling trip through their relationship as it grows and changes. I’ll be reading more books by this author!

Book 2 keeps a great pace in the series. This time around the story centers on Enzo and Sofia…best friends, love interests, willing to stay away from each other to protect the other. This is it’s own stand alone novel, but I think it’s better if you read book 1, as there are a few familiar characters and connections that improve the overall experience.
This author offers characters with nice development, a robust backstory, plenty of intrigue and romance to keep you following. These books make for a pretty quick read, as they are hard to put down! Check out the series!

Book four is the best book yet! Addicted to anything mythology, my most anticipated read of the year and it was AMAZING! This series is one of the best ever. And if you are having problems with your mother in law, hold tight Vanessa will show you the way. This is a sexy fun read and we have characters to die for. Picking up from book three, I didn’t put it down at all. What is in the box, what is the next adventure? All questions answered! The ending is living in my mind rent free this series is complete and I will reread it over and over again. This author took a strong female, threw in some gods with a perfect twist on the mythology we love! Book four was the best. I would appreciate a prequel to know all about the men that make this series classical.

This story has started off with a bang! Marriage of convenience is one of my favorite tropes, and this was another one of those amazing stories. Caspian and Paisley were a sweet couple, and it took time for them to get that HEA, but they got there. Caspian is devoted to his work and in order to secure his CEO position must find a wife. In comes his childhood friend Paisley. What starts of light soon becomes pure fire, and they are quite the couple. Paisley becomes exactly what he needed and vice versa. This was a great book and great start to this series.

The series has come to and end and its very bittersweet. I feel so invested in all the characters and the journey until this point. Such a beautiful story and such an epic end to it all. If you have not read the first 3 then you must!! Vanessa and her 3 Gods finally found their HEA, and it was dramatic, steamy, and worth every obstacle along the way. This has to be my favorite book of all.

This book strongly impacted me. Trigger warning for readers, there is kidnapping and torture along with sex. Knowing this, I still wanted to jump into the story. It is very dark, but I love Elizabeth Finley. She is a strong woman who gets back up every time she gets knocked down. She suffers through so much and giving up is just not in her. I have come to really enjoy dark Mafia stories, reading about the stuff we know happens but stays hidden in the shadows. It amazes me some of the strong people that rise above the hardships that are encountered. It makes me want to be a stronger person.
