Jorja Knight is a brilliant character and I feel as if I tapped into an incredible story line that I can’t wait to build on. I found this book fascinating and exciting and perfectly mysterious. Strong characters you can’t help but enjoy. This was well written and hard to put down. As the days get colder I seek more and more books just like this to lose myself in and boy did I ever. Excellent job to the author! I will definitely be looking for me from you!

I love this book so much! I knew I was going to love it after just reading a few pages! I love a good Christmas romance and now I’m getting even more into the holiday spirit! Connor and Sienna are perfect for each other! Connor was in a terrible accident and his life changed forever. Sienna was born the way she is and that doesn’t stop her from achieving everything she has wanted! But when her mother makes her feel more like an object than her daughter/human being…it makes sienna realize she wants something else in life. A life of happiness and freedom. Connor and sienna meet at a ski lodge around the holidays and at first they teased one another but it turned into something more than they ever thought. Short read and I loved every page! Highly recommend!!!!!

Tink is a great start to the Devil’s Handmaidens MC Series! This was the first time reading about an all-female MC and I was not disappointed. The females were strong, courageous, and tough. D. M. Earl creates surprisingly realistic, flawed characters that I couldn’t help but feel invested in. I would love to have these tough-as-nails women in my corner! Earl also paints a wonderfully descriptive picture of the small town life in Timber-Ghost, Montana. There are so many ups and downs and twists and turns in Tink that I was on the edge of my seat for a majority of the book. This book definitely needs a trigger warning, as some of the content could be tough for some readers, but overall, this book was a great start to the Devil’s Handmaidens MC story! I can’t wait to read more!

I really liked the dynamic between Connor and Sienna. This book was a very quick read but had a well thought plot. I really appreciated the detail to their mental and physical growth overcoming the obstacles they both had. Sienna’s mom frustrated me but I appreciated Sienna persevering and taking one for herself. It was a great story to kick off my Christmas reading season!

Revenge Honeymoon is a Rom-Com by K. J. Gillenwater. Emily offers to go on her best friend Ruby’s Caribbean honeymoon after Ruby is left at the altar by her fiance. After the two pose as a married couple on the cruise, Emily meets Max and there starts the dilemma. Will Emily risk possibly being kicked off the cruise to pursue Max? I liked the relationship between Emily and Ruby. It was nice to read how Emily was there for her best friend during her heartbreak. Emily and Max’s interactions were cute, but I felt they moved a bit too fast. If you enjoy stories of female friendship, this is an excellent story for you. It was fun and heartwarming.

Murder on Oak Street is a historical crime novel set in 1904 New York. We follow Dr. Daniel O’Halleran, a Coroner’s Physician who is fed up with the politics of the job. When he is left at the altar on his wedding day, on opportunity to work on Long Island is just what Daniel needs. When Dr. O’Halleran is presented with a case by a young woman; he realizes it has connections to his last case in New York City. A murder happens not long after he arrives. Daniel investigates the house full of family members and learns that not everyone is as they’re portrayed. This book is full of twists and turns and the writer had me guessing from beginning to the end. The details in this book make you feel as if you’re investigating along with Daniel. Murder on Oak Street is the first in the South Shore Mystery series, and I look forward to reading the next book.

Wow what a story. I was gripped right from the beginning and I was gripped until I found out what happened to Susie. The author does an amazing job with this story by giving the reader several different scenarios of how Susie fell, was it an accident? Was she drunk? Was she pushed?
All of the scenarios seem likely but the actual events will blow your mind. Several times I thought I had the answer and I was still wrong.
Catherine Keely is a heartbroken mother trying to come to terms with the loss of her daughter when she fell from a balcony in Crete. Catherine doesn’t believe it was an accident and so she sets out to find the truth. She questions Suzies friends and ex partner trying to find answers but what she finds out is perhaps something she wishes she didn’t know. When you believe you know someone completely could you really not know them at all? Are somethings better not being know?

When you wake up to find yourself dressed in some flimsy fine dress, which is definitely not your usual clothing choice, soaked through by freezing rain and chained to the side of a mountain, the first thing which should cross your mind is why am I here, or at least you should be worried about this, but I’m not and that is really strange. I find that I couldn’t care less why I am there or even what I was doing any time before this, what could have been going through the mind of a farmers daughter to bring her to this place, in this weather and only wearing what I am, never mind about the chains themselves.
As I am asking myself these questions and wracking my brain over them, warm steam starts to come out of the cave opposite me and albeit it I am more than thankful for the heat, while wishing my mind would hurry up and catch up with itself and become scared, especially when the dragon appears. Dragons are scary and I should rightly be terrified, but still I am not, something is desperately wrong with me, dragons are known for breathing fire, raining down destruction and tormenting their victims before eating them, so I really should figure out what is going on and why I am there before I become the next sacrificed lamb, so to speak.
Will I become a snack for this dragon in front of me, or will I even care if I do? This is a fantasy tale of dragons, magic and one very spirited young woman where nothing is as it seems and danger is everywhere she looks, but will her sacrifice be in vain? This story will keep you reading as it hooks you into a tale which enchants and enthrals.
Mira and Carl are siblings, but they are not friends, they are enemies! Whatever one of them wants to do, the other doesn’t, the only thing they agree on is that they both want to sit behind their dad whenever they are in the car.
One day their Dad takes them to the beach and this is something at last that they agree on, but the activities they want to do while there differ greatly, Carl wants to build a sandcastle, however, Mira wants to destroy it, is this something that can bring these super enemies together?
This is a cute story with lovely illustrations, which talks about friendship and how being different is not always a bad thing.
Shadow Patterns of Melt is a Sci-Fi Adventure that I had a hard putting down once I got into it. It started out a bit slow and I wasn’t sure what I got myself into but after the first couple chapters things changed. I overall truly enjoyed reading this book its just a bit different than the other Sci-Fi books I’ve read. This is a fairly new author to me and I’m definitely going to check out what other books they have written. This authors style of writing is a bit different and the storyline a bit out of the ordinary but everything flowed so smoothly. The characters are well developed, likable and make it easy to picture everything that is going on. This story is about showing determination and going for what you want while living your life your way not what someone else wants. I’m not going to give anything away but I do highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

It took me a little bit to get into rhythm of the story but then it was smooth sailing. This is a unique space story in the way that it’s not military based, or a space force. The reader follows adventures, drama, and interesting characters. There is grand world building and Fogg put a lot of effort into the characters. The Rom Com Movie Club was a sweet story about Lisa and Ryan. Lisa is best friends with Tina, who is marrying the love of her life. Ryan is Tina’s fiance’s brother. The two of them have their own meet-cute and struggle through the issues they encounter as their relationship blossoms. It is a sweet romance story.
The thing I love about this story was that it showed Lisa managing her anxiety and panic attacks. It showed how she handled the things she dealt with in life. I loved the relationship between the girls and how they put up with each other’s shit. It was really great to see them support and be there for each other.
The thing that I didn’t enjoy as much about this story was that it was a bit difficult to clarify who’s the viewpoint we were in during each point. I also didn’t like the way Ryan and Lisa fell in love almost immediately. I thought the relationship was going great until they fell in love within two weeks of each other.
Overall I thought this was a sweet, fun read. It was quick and easy to read. It had some good tropes and references to the modern world. It was something I enjoyed reading and would be an amazing summer read for people to pick up.

Tink is the Prez on a female MC (which is pretty rad on its own)…and their goal is wipe out the human trafficking rings. This mission is deeply personal to Tink. Getting into her backstory was heartbreaking and I can see how it formed her into the strong and determined person she is today.
Noodles comes to town with some former military buds to start a sanctuary. Tink and Noodles hit it off immediately. As Tink’s truths come out, Noodles believes he is the man to protect her. However, when they find out that one of their own is out to thwart their efforts, will Noodles be able to keep Tink safe? And who can they really trust?
This was a great story that I enjoyed reading. I don’t think I have ever come across an all female MC…and it was awesome. The secondary characters in this book really added to the story and I’m hoping to read some of their stories in the future. Overall, a great story!

Fantastic book…I loved this story so much and it felt so real, the struggle and trying to move on.
Peggy is a mother of twins, whom are ready to leave and go away to college. Peggy struggles with the reality of becoming an empty-nester and also still mourning her husbands untimely death. When Peggy’s children, Greg and Grace give Peggy a gift of a “boot camp style” gym …… to work on herself … at first Peggy wanted nothing to do with it. Once Peggy joins and meets new friends in Carmen and Roni..this friendship is what Peggy needed. When Peggy meets Henry..she discovers that there can be a new life to discover after losing her husband….just takes some time to realize. Can Peggy truly move on?
This story is truly a must read…the story flowed so easily and the book was hard to put down. I wanted to keep turning the pages on what is going to happen next for Peggy… fantastic fantastic fantastic read!!

I’m not one to usually read sci fi, but I liked this one. I’m glad I read it. The characters are lovable with their own personalities. I enjoyed the writing style, super easy to read. Also enjoyed the action that was in this book. If you love a book that has to do with space, time travel, humor and everything that science fiction brings, read this one. I Love You Today… I loved diving into the story of Austin & Casey. Austin is left with a shattered heart when Mavis, whom he loves and helped in her time of need, chooses twin his brother. Though I usually stay away from books with AI and that line of futuristic plots since they generally felt like drier reads, I decided to try this book. I was pleasantly surprised by the thorough character development and world-building. Though there is a fair amount of jargon in the story, it didn’t hold back on the actual meat of the book and I could read through it without too many interrupting thoughts. I enjoyed the descriptive voice of the characters and the overall plot of this book. I may just have to give this side of Sci-Fi a try once more, now that I’ve found a book that I’ve actually enjoyed.

This is a funny book. It is very accurate for real life siblings. Fight and fight and fight then they are completely fine and over it. My 5yo son and I enjoyed this book. Another good one from Lois Wickstrom. Though it’s not my favorite from what I’ve read of hers, it is cute.
I LOVED this book. This is definitely the type of book with a main character that is so relatable. I think that most women can relate to that feeling of losing themselves. Peggy lost herself in raising her children, who no longer need her. Now its time for her to reinvent herself, or find herself again. She is obsessed with a television show with a medium who can talk to the dead. This makes sense, since she lost her husband years ago. She is always starting a new diet – tomorrow – especially since the dr is harping on her. However, as her kids are leaving for college, they give her a gift one that might just be the key to finding herself. I do not have any children, yet, I found myself really relating to the character of Peggy. I could relate to the not knowing who you are anymore. The always thinking that the next diet starts tomorrow. The longing for something else, something different, something for her. This book was amazing and is definitely something that I didn’t want to end. I can not recommend this enough!

This sci-fi book is incredibly unique and though it took me a little bit to get into it, I enjoyed it. The flow of the story can be a little bumpy at times, but it was a great read overall. I loved the characters! Nialla and Bishr were truly fascinating, and even though this is a futuristic read it remains relatable. They explore their independence, enjoy life, and jump wormholes…but they end up making a discovery that could mean big changes. This was different from most sci-fi that I have read, and I can’t wait to see what the next book will bring. I highly recommend picking this up for an eccentric time-traveling adventure!

This is a brilliant fantasy book steeped in Norse Mythology, taking concepts that are well known and putting a unique twist on them. From the first page this book grabbed my attention, pulling me in and not letting go until the end of the book. It was fast paced, action packed and really knew how to put on the intensity. The characters were great to read about two. I thought they were well matched and I found myself wanting to read more about them. This is a new author to me and I was really taken with how good this book was. It is one of the best mythology books I have read for a while and I will be exploring more of them work very soon.

The descriptions make the reader feel as though they are right alongside the characters. I would not change a single part of this book. It does end in a cliffhanger, making me yearn for more. If you are looking for a fast-paced book filled with mystery, romance, tragedy, action, and historical fiction look no further. Painter of the Damned is the second installment in the Painted Souls series.

What starts out as a business trip soon turns to love with a dangerous twist for the wonderful characters is this amazing book. As their relationship develops so does the danger to Katerina and Chase wants nothing more than to keep her safe! What a wonderful start to this series! This very talented author never ever disappoints with her creative and captivating storylines, amazing characters and steamy love scenes. From the very first page I was hooked on Katerina and Chase and what was to unfold for them. I am looking forward to reading more about them as soon as I can!

As they leave for college they gift her a boot camp class which upsets her greatly but eventually becomes a turning point in her life. This was an a very relatable story filled with emotion and heart.

I think there are a lot of people out there who even as adults can fully relate to how these two siblings behaved. I know I certainly can! I love how this authors stories really come up with some great talking points for children whilst they are reading. I think this book is definitely best shared with an adult so maybe these talking points could include the children coming up with their own resolutions about how to behave and how we can all like different things but be respectful of each other. I really enjoy the stories by this author and whilst I’m not sure this was one of my favourites I can see how it could help open further discussion for children about how we behave and respect each other.
