This story was short and sweet. I am always fond of a good age gap romance, and love when it ends HEA.
Cassie and Diego started out as advisor and student, but escalated to a couple in love. I did not read book 1, but this story picks up where it left off right away. This story follows the challenges they now experience as a couple with bitter ex-wives, the issue with the age difference, and pressures with family/friends. Cassie and Diego seem connected, but I am not sure I truly felt the love between them. It was overall a good and short read, and I enjoyed it.

Forever Valentine: A Sequel to Professor Valentine (Kirk University Series, Book 6) by Diana Vale is another fantastic page turner by Ms. Vale. Forever Valentine is book six in Ms. Vale’s Kirk University Series, but in my personal opinion it is the best. Ms. Vale’s characters are amazing, an amazing plot, and I personally loved the different view points. While this book gives us more of a story about Cassie and Diego but we also meet Diego’s ex wife. Will she cause problems between Cassie and Diego? You’ll have to read Forever Valentine to find out.

I first met Professor Diego Valentine and his then student Cassie in ‘Professor Valentine (Kirk University Book 1)’ so I was looking forward to ‘catching up’ with them in this novella. This was a short and enjoyable read which picks up the story one year after the couple first met and fell in love. Diego and Cassie are now officially a couple but they soon learn that not everyone around them approves of them being in a relationship as Diego is Cassie’s ex-university professor. Despite plenty of complications including Diego’s drug addicted ex wife, Cassie studying to complete her psychology degree and wanting to enjoy university life, and of course the age gap between the pair, neither regret their relationship. However the pressure is effecting them and they have to choose whether their love for one another is enough to overcome the challenges or whether they are better off apart. By telling the story from both Diego and Cassie’s view point the author made the characters come alive and I felt engaged with them. I enjoyed seeing how their relationship had developed and I like how the author has written a realistic story where the couple do have ups and downs, but there is a guaranteed HEA.

Forever Valentine: A Sequel to Professor Valentine by Diana Vale is the sixth book in the Kirk University series. I would definitely suggest reading these in order as I think that is how you will get the most enjoyment out of them.
I thought this was a well written story that really centred around the characters. It was shorter than I was expecting it to be, even knowing it was a novella. Still it was an enjoyable story that I found myself getting invested in. It was good to see the challenges the characters faced and how they overcome them. The author has created a good book that that I enjoyed reading.

This is a quick and quirky read. Age can make a difference in a relationship or can it. Cassie and Kirk and a canny couple. I really like this short book. The characters developed very quickly over time and very relatable.

After reading Professor Valentine by Diana Vale, I couldn’t wait to jump into her sequel (book 6 in the series) Forever Valentine. The continuation of Diego and Cassie’s story. I love what Diana Vale has done with their love affair. Starting out as advisor and student, to a story about twin flames/love. The way Diana Vale develops her characters is done beautifully. The digging deeper into Diego and Cassie’s love is memorizing. With a wonderful supporting cast of minor characters throughout, Diego and Cassie have the love everyone wants. the undying and unyielding kind. I also the way the characters were able to persevere with all the obstacles presented to them, to test their love to the ultimate limit. I look forward to reading other books written by Diana Vale in the future!

Forever Valentine is the sequel to Professor Valentine (Book 1 in Kirk University) by Diana Vale. This age-gap fast-paced novella takes place months after Cassie and Diego have started their relationship. This couple goes through the normal things every relationship goes through, just added a little extra due to them being ex-professor/student plus an ex-wife poking her nose in. Overall this book was good and kept me intrigued but I will say I wish I had read the first book to understand the characters more (which I plan on doing).

Cassie and Diego are having a romance of the ages. She’s younger than him. He also comes with the baggage of a drug-addled ex-wife. If you like spicy, there’s some in here that will cause steam on your glasses. The characters are pretty well-written. Some of his brothers sounded like overgrown children. Her friends just sounded like silly students shrinking everyone against the female brain. There was a lot of action and noise on the pages which made it hard to follow the story at times. Overall, I would recommend it.

Forever Valentine is the follow up to the book Professor Valentine of Cassie and Diego’s story. The 2nd book picks up a year later as Cassie is in her 2nd year at uni to get her degree while Diego teaches at another school. Despite Diego’s ex wife and also the stress of Diego meeting Cassie’s parents for the first time, Cassie and Diego’s love for each other still burns strong. The story was good but I didn’t feel the connection with the characters like I was hoping in this story. Overall a good read if you enjoy contemporary romance books.

This is  the sequal to Professor Valentine. It is an easy short read and follows on from the first book perfectly. This is a romance between a student and her professor(ex professor now) because of this the story is mainly based around the age gap and all the problems and concerns that arise from that.

We are back with Cassie and Diego 12 months after the last book ended. Cassie and Diego are  now living together and are facing challenges that their relationship brings such as people who approve of their relationship and those that don’t. They face challenges such as Cassie trying to complete her degree and Diego dealing with his divorce from his cocaine addicted ex wife. All this puts more pressure on the couple who are still finding their way together. Can they overcome all these additional pressures and views about their relationship or will it be too much for their young relationship.

I was so excited to start this book and see how Cassie and Diego’s relationship was going. I really felt like the author kept this relationship real, she showed the ups and downs and it did feel very realistic in parts. The story was only short but it was great to catch up with the characters again. I really enjoyed the story and would definitely recommend it however the books should be read in order to fully understand the characters relationship.

Forever Valentine: A Sequel to Professor Valentine is book six in the Kirk University series by Diana Vale. Forever continues for Cassie and Diego. Their forbidden tryst blossomed into love and we get to find out what has been going on in their lives. As far as short stories go, this one isn’t to bad. It kept me turning the paged and nicely enthralled from the start. Their story was a good one and flowed energetic and easily. The play on words was clever. The characters relatable and likable. A lovely short and sweet delight. 4 stars.

I didn’t realize this was a series book, so I didn’t read any of the previous books in this series before picking this one up. Not sure if that would have helped with being pulled into the characters’ stories or not, but I had a difficult time really connecting with Cassie and Diego.

It seemed realistic enough that the couple would encounter different thoughts and struggles because of the age gap between them, and they did seem to have feelings for each other, which the author did a good job conveying. I feel like my struggle with reading it, however, is that there was this whole “age-gap-doesn’t-mean-anything” while basically spending the whole time pointing out the struggles with an age gap relationship.

This is a very short book, though, so perhaps I’m not giving it enough credit when read as a whole series; as a standalone, it wasn’t really my thing.

This is the sixth book in a series of student-teacher contemporary romance series, it is also the sequel to Professor Valentine which was book 1.
In book one we are introduced to Diego and Cassie and their love story that is so ver forbidden. In this novella we see the continuation of book one and how things have gone for both Diego and Cassie.
With Cassie being only 19 and Diego being in his 30s it is hard for those around them to accept their love and relationship. In this book we also learn a lot more about Diegos soon to be ex-wife Linda who is a cocaine addict.
The story flows well and keeps you interested, the added spicy scenes make it perfect for those who like steam and love mixed into one great book.

I enjoyed this romance story. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help your enhancement of not only the story but the characters as well. You will see where Cassie and Diego have been compared to where they are now. This is a well written romance story that has characters that are not only relatable but also written with a lot of heart. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters and their growth throughout is great. They made the story engaging and I enjoyed how they brought the story to life. In this story there are life challenges that both of these characters are in. But will fate allow them to get through to be together in the end? Their challenges are a lot of pressure but will they crack these two? I really did enjoy what they brought to the story. They made it fun and entertaining to read. I highly recommend this book.

Forever Valentine: A Sequel to Prosfessor Valentine (Kirk University Book 6) by Diana Vale is a contemporary romance story. This is a very quick short story that will be over before you know it. Don’t blink. Anywho, this story explores their relationship and how others see it and the challenges that they face. From a bitter ex, their age difference, and insecurities. If they can survive this, then they can survive anything. How can you fight true love when the heart wants what the heart wants? I enjoy a story that is told in multiple POV and this one was.

5 stars!

I love this follow up to Professor Valentine. Here we see Cassie and Diego still together but with new challenges to face. Diego has to win over Cassie’s parents because of the wide age gap and they both suffer challenges with this as well. Cassie hating everyone always bringing up their age difference and Diego only seeing how he could hold Cassie back because of it. Also we meet Diego’s ex wife again and this time she is trying to make things difficult for Diego and putting him in a stressful position when all he wants to do is move forward with Cassie. I loved all the drama involved, at one point I thought they were going to break up. I also really felt for Diego, I hated that he was so insecure at times even though we can see Cassie loves him so much. I really liked this book and look forward to more from this author.

Forever Valentine is the sixth book in the Kirk University series by Diana Vale. It is student-teacher contemporary romance and is the sequel to Cassie and Diego’s story we read in Book #1. This is a short story, a novella size morsel- which made it a very quick and easy read.
This story picks up 12 months after the events in book one. Cassie is determined to finish her psychology degree and enjoy her university experience as much as she can- all the while traversing all the ups and downs of having a relationship with an older man who also happens to be her former university professor. Things haven’t been easy- but she doesn’t regret one minute that she and Diego have spent together. But life seems to want to test the strength of their bond- brining a few complications, drama, angsty moments, and hurdles for them to manage.
Again, as with the first book, this was an easy read- I still didn’t connect with Cassie and Diego the way I would have liked to- but I did like them more than I did in the first book, so that’s something!

Thank you, Diana Vale.

Anyone who has ever fallen in love with a close friend can relate to In His Kiss by Ava Alise. This is the first installment in The Unrequited Series, and I found myself really adoring the two main characters. Xia and Jordan, after a night of fun and drinking, step beyond the friend boundary and sleep together. What Jordan tells Xia the next morning made my heart ache for her! I became so invested in this story that I literally threw my book! However, the good thing about these two is that they do remain supportive and considerate of each other, even though they no longer know quite how to navigate their friendship. This is the first book by this author that I’ve picked up, and I am glad I did. I will be looking forward to seeing where Jordan and Xia’s relationship goes from here. This is an easy and quick read for me – it is not hard to fall through the pages into their world. 4 stars.

This was a cute read after I had just come off a book that was all about the dark side of things. I thought Jordan and axis were hella cute together! In His Kiss was a fantastic friends to lovers romance. This is not your everyday romance though, writing friends to lovers is never an easy thing, but Ms. Alise made the transition flawless. Like most friends to lovers romances In His Kiss is full of angst, emotions, and definitely a few twists and turns. My only complaint about In His Kiss is it was too short. Ms. Alise hooked me from the very beginning and next thing I know I’ve read the whole book in one sitting. In His Kiss is the first book in The Unrequited Series by Ava Alise. I had previously read a couple of books by this author and had enjoyed them so was looking forward to reading more of her work. I’m glad I chose to read this book as I really enjoyed it.
In His Kiss is a great, contemporary, friends to lovers romance. I’m a sucker for just about every romance trope but I do love and angsty friends to lovers romance and In His Kiss fits the bill perfectly.
Xia has been best friends with Jordan since they were toddlers in nappies and have been inseparable since. Both have been in love with one another for some time but don’t want to ruin their friendship. But after a drunken night together Jordan declares that I was a mistake. How does their friendship survive this?
I loved Jordan and Xia’s story. It has the angst and hurt that you expect from a friends to lovers romance. Both are great characters who are very well written and you just can’t help but hope that they get their deserved HEA.
The story is well written and flows well, keeping the reader entertained from start to finish. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from this series.

In His Kiss by Ava Elise is the first book in the Unrequited series. This is a sweet and heartfelt friends to lovers story that has some truly likeable characters right at its centre. I thought the author did a great job of balancing these amount of romance with the amount of drama – neither one seemed to over shadow the other.
I thought this was a quick and easy story o get into, a great way to pass away an afternoon or evening. It is easy to connect with both the story and the characters. This to me is a romance book done well and the author showed that this series is clearly going to be a good one. I am definitely looking forward to the second.
