As a lover of all paranormal this book hit all the spots! Tanjie was one heck of a character and I was over the moon about her very early on. The angst, secrets, twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat and racing for more. Written well, easy to follow along and can not wait to see what comes next!!!

Dark Moon Secrets is a paranormal romance by Lilliana Rose. We follow Tanjie and Alaric in this story. Tanjie is an orphaned young woman. She lives on her own in an apartment bought after her parents died. Alaric is the alpha of shifters and he hates witches. When they are brought together we get a fun and adventurous enemies-to-lovers story. The story is well-written. The world-building is cool. The characters are well-written. I love the relationship that Tanjie has with Caleb and Mia. I also really liked the chemistry between Tanjie and Alaric. I had a lot of fun reading this story.

Dark Moon Secrets is Book 1 in the newest series from this talented author and I was excited to dive right in. This is a very good story that gave me all the feels that I love about paranormal romance with shifters, witches, wolves, magic, secrets and supernatural elements.
Tanjie is unaware of how truly important she is….and what is to become. Inheriting a bookstore unexpectedly, Tanjie is not only the new “boss” but she is also thrown for a loop upon learning who she truly is. Learning secrets that come to light and also being attracted to a wolf-shifter, Alaric, Tanjie must learn quickly before it is to late what her destiny entails.
Alaric is trying hard to become his pack’s new beta, but secrets and lies are hindering him from anyone taking him seriously. One thing Alaric cannot do is stay away from Tanjie, even though she is forbidden.
Worlds collide and secrets revealed, what will become between Tanjie and Alaric? Definitely read and find out!! I am already looking forward to the next book in the series to see what happens!! Happy Reading!!

Tanjie is a witch. Alaric is a wolf shifter. They are not supposed to like one another. Instead they are to be mortal enemies yet a connection between the two will cause a bit of an uproar.
Tanjie has lost her parents, a beloved elderly friend and has stayed away from some of the suggestions her family provided which she considered to be hippyish. She doesn’t fully understand her destiny as a witch. She inherits a bookstore, learns about her coven and finally starts to learn about witchcraft. It’s a slow process and she doesn’t know if it will be enough or in enough time.
Alaric is up for the next alpha and enjoys the wolf life. He’s drawn to Tanjie but knows disclosing this to his pack would be devastating.
This story is a great beginning to this series and created such a neat world with wonderful characters. The ending will get you and make you wonder what’s next. I highly recommend reading this incredible paranormal story.

Dark Moon Secrets is the first book I’ve read from Lilliana Rose and I definitely enjoyed it. I enjoyed it enough to pick up more in this series if the author decides to write and publish more. I did wish that there could have been more from Alaric and more of Tanjie and Alaric together but the chapters where they were together were pretty great. I just felt like some of the chapters where it was just concerning the witches, or just concerning the wolves were a bit childish as it seemed like the witches were treating Tanjie like she was a child, and wanted her to obey their every command without giving any information or answering her questions, and Rafe along with the other wolves were incredibly hard on Alaric and were really nasty whenever they spoke to him. All of that though could have much more meaning as the series continues, and I will definitely look forward to finding out.

Madria is a sassy, defiant young woman who absolutely hates vampires. Years ago her mothers ancestors were murdered by Vampires so she grew up hating them all. When shifters cause havoc in her fathers club and Master Sardinia comes to the rescue, instead of being relieved, she blames him for the shifters being there in the first place. She shows him disrespect and he is not going to let her get away with that.
After bringing Madria down into the basement to talk to her about her attitude, shifters brutally attack Madria. After discovering that they may need her psychic powers to help them track down the rogue vampires, Sardinia has no choice but to change her to the one kind of creature she hates. Madria realizes that if she doesn’t help these vampires, even more evil vampires will kill more humans so she reluctantly agrees to help. As much as she wants to hate Sardinia for who he is and what he made her become, she can’t help but feel intense attraction to the blood sucker.
Sardinia knows he shouldn’t cross any lines with Madria, her being under his care and all. It’s just she is so innocent and pure, yet also full of fire. She isn’t afraid of him and that makes him want to punish her…
I love The Masters of the Consulate series. I have read a few of them so far and every time, Sylvia Black is able to have me hooked from page one. Each book is a stand alone love story with a different vampire master but it also has an underlying plot tying all the characters together. The author has a magical way of bringing two unlikely personalities together to create a perfect couple.

Sylvia Black is an old time favourite author that I have not read for a while and I will certainly be catching myself up on all her latest works ASAP.
I read this as a stand alone novel but I wish I had known prior to starting Master Sadina that it is the 8th novel in a “The masters of the Consulate” series. I highly recommend starting at the beginning of the series as it will give you a greater understanding of all of the characters of the book and their individual stories and how we ended up at the point in time where this book starts.
Master Sardina is a pure bred “player” vampire whom falls in love with his newly turned charge Madria. Some extremely HOT and steamy sex scenes. Madria is the link with the help of a stone that can see powerful visions that help them in a quest to shed the island of rogue vampires and shifters?
My only gripe – the book ends abruptly but I guess that just means I have to read the next book?

Although it took time for the action and climax to really get going in this book, I enjoyed it! The characters were detailed and the names were unique. Not a name heard often, Tanjie, is just learning of her destiny and that she is special. Tanjie is said to be on earth for one reason and one only and that is to save the witches and the other beings from pure destruction. Although she has other thoughts on what her life should be like and how she should live, her destiny says something completely different. Then she meets Al or as he is better known to his pack as Alaric. These two have a destiny together yet it is unknown in the beginning and they are drawn to one another which is forbidden. How will they survive their drawn attraction to one another? Will their destinies win or will they find that their own stands to tear them apart? These are questions I had during the entire time reading and couldn’t put it down. What will happen in the next book? I can’t wait to know more and read about the lives of Tanjie, Alaric, the coven and pack!

Thank goodness this is book 1 in this series because I certainly want to read more! I hope there is more magic and wolf transforming in the next book(s) because that is part of the magic! This story ends with a cliffhanger, not a happy for now ending but an actual cliff hanger…ugh what are all the secrets! What is going to happen!
Wolves and witches don’t mix well in this story until Tanjie the witch and Al the wolf meet. They have a connection. Seems like it might be a lust connection but maybe it’s something more.
Tanjie has just discovered she is a witch however she doesn’t know what that means in the grand scheme of everything. She is learning but not fast enough for her liking.
Alaric, Al, has always known he is a wolf and is next in line to be Alpha if he can figure out his allegiance and prove his strength and intent to his pack.

This paranormal romance had everything I could ask for in a great first book of a series. Witches, wolf shifters, intrigue, forbidden romance, and so much more! We first meet Tanjie when we learn about the death of her parents and the bond that she has with her two best friends, and her elderly neighbor in her apartment building with whom she spends a day once a month chatting about things of her past that her parents held dear. When Maria, the elderly neighbor, is found to have passed on by Tanjie and her friends, it is such a shock and a sad reminder of the loss of Tanjie’s parents. Leaving her with so many unanswered questions about her life, and the path that she is supposed to take. To Tanjie’s surprise, she starts hearing Maria’s voice in her head, which reminds her to get the envelope that was left for her to open upon Maria’s death. This envelope contains Maria’s last will and testament, which will change Tanjie’s life in so many ways she could never imagine. First of all, Tanjie must move away to take care of the bookstore that Maria has left for her, and this is where Tanjie meets Alaric, the boy she is advised to stay away from because he is a troublemaker. Of course, this makes him all the more appealing to Tanjie, who is in denial of anything that is starting to happen to her, wanting everything to go back to the way it was before Maria’s passing. Tanjie learns quickly that life as she once knew it, will never be the same, and that she needs to learn to embrace change or lose her own life. This book was such a great read, I am impressed with the extensive attention to detail that the author has put into her writing. This book was such an exciting experience, I cannot wait to see what comes next in the 2nd book in this series. @Brandy Rymer 11/2023

After the death of her neighbor, Maria, Tanjie was left to take care o her affairs. This included running her bookstore for at least one year. But, when Tanjie shows up, the bookstore is nothing like she expected. In fact, it’s full of more secrets than she ever could have imagined. Her life is about to change…whether she likes it or not. At least there is a hot guy to make things interesting…
Alaric, a wolf shifter, spends more time finding women to lose himsel in than paying attentions to what’s going on the pack However, when his dad (who happens to be the alpha) lets the pack know that it’s time to stand up to the witches, Alaric realizes he must put the pack first in order to show his dad he is ready to become the beta and take over as alpha one day. But, when he finds out that the new woman in town is actually a witch, he finds his loyalty being tested. There is a pull he feels toward Tanjie…but what will he do when the time comes to fight the witches?
First off, this book ends with a cliffhanger. I will definitely be checking out the next book because I need to know what happens with these two. I found myself invested in Tanjie’s training and I also want to know what her skill is. And, it seems to be a big no-no for a witch and wolf shifter to be together…but could there be something bigger at play here?!? I can’t wait to see.

I love a great fantasy/ paranormal book with witches and shifters, I was excited to read this book. This is the beginning of the second series I have read from this author and was not disappointed at all.
Tanjie is a regular young woman living life with her friends after the death of her parents. She is happy with life and doesn’t want to entertain the lifestyle her parents had wanted to teach her. When her sweet neighbor passes away suddenly, her life gets turned upside down with the bookstore she inherits.
This is a forbidden love story that will cause problems for a witch and a shifter falling for eachother. A suspenseful and intriguing read. Bring on book 2

This is the first book I have read from this author and she has me hooked. I love a good paranormal romance but this one had an amazing twist. I love that this was a short story and it was also in dual pov. I could not help but to fall in love with both characters in this book. I could not put this book down so I read it all the way through. I can’t wait to read some more books from this awesome author.
Lucifer is now in town and he keeps on hearing rumors of the Eden Manor. His friends tell him to stay but he wants to get to the bottom of it. They are only rumors. When Lucifer goes into the manor he sees something very strange but he is almost caught getting out. He doesn’t realize that Mordecai was watching his move and now he wants to make him pay for trespassing. Will Lucifer find out what is really going on in the manor or will he become one of the rumors?

I absolutely love everything that Lilliana Rose writes, and this is no exception. This is an amazing start to a wonderful series of witches, werewolves, a somewhat enemy to lovers’ trope, secrets, destiny, lots of action, adventure, and tension.
This is such an interesting forbidden love story. This beginning book to the series is such a great start and for a steppingstone to continue the series. It is such a superb blend of the paranormal genre. The world building was very well thought out, and the plot was written wonderfully as always. I love the way Lilliana writes, it is so personal and easy to follow, but at the same time full of so much information. The end of this story made me wish it hadn’t ended.
Tanjie is a witch but does not know it. When she loses someone very special to her, y. After their death, she finds herself in a new town and in a bookstore. A bookstore that is soooo much more than it seems on the outside. She finds out that there is much more to the world, and herself than she had believed. In order to save the future of the coven, she now must claim her birthright and power.
Alaric, is a werewolf, who loves stalking as much as he can throughout the night. He is ready for the next step on the pack’s life. There is a war coming, but he might just have fallen for the enemy.
Both are terribly stubborn and very ignorant at first, I really wanted to shake them and ask what the heck was wrong with them!!! On the other hand, I did like watching them work through those issues, and then seeing them finally growing together! I feel that their character development and relationship was very realistic and easy to relate to.

Master Sardinia by Sylvia Black is the eighth book in the Masters of the Consulate series. Master Sardinia and the other vampires find themselves with traitors in their ranks while in the middle of the war with the shifters. During this time Master Sardinia comes across Madria and finds himself developing feelings for the infuriating young psychic. Madria finds herself just as attracted and no less infuriated by Master Sardinia. The book is good for those who like the enemies-to-lovers trope and those who like their stories spicy. The war between the shifters and vamps was interesting. There was good action and I really enjoyed a lot of Master Sardinia’s dialogue. He is a very intense and engrossing character. I would be interested in reading the rest of the series as it all seems very fascinating.

I really enjoyed this different take on a paranormal story. Tanjie didn’t known she was a witch until her neighbor passes away and leaves her what she thinks is a bookstore. Her character is independent and a bit stubborn. She wants to make her own life decisions but it seems more like fate already knows what it wants. Alaric is the Alpha’s son and should be next in line if he can stop chasing skirts and start acting like part of the pack. But it’s next to impossible once he met Tanjie. There’s definitely a pull between them. What will it mean for the witches and the wolves?
The author did a very good job with world building and made me like the main characters as well as a few others, from the start. My only complaint is I still have so many questions! I can’t wait until book 2 comes out!

I love the world this author has created with mafia-esk vampires, alpha males, equally strong females and fiery passion ❤️🔥 that bleeds from the pages. This is Master Sardinia’s story and boy does he protect what is his – swoon! Bring on book 9. Highly recommend!

Brilliant series starter The first book in the Witch Moon series, Dark Moon Secrets was a strong start. With immersive world building, strong characters and a solid story line, this engaging paranormal fantasy had me hooked. The scene has been set for so much more to come and with a range of different characters which I feel will all play a role in Tanjie & Alaric’s future. I eagerly await book 2. Highly Recommend.

‘I had no idea how to be a witch, but I would learn. I couldn’t wait to get started and discover everything this new world opening up for me had to offer.’
Dark Moon Secrets is the first book in The Witch Moon Series by Lilliana Rose. After reading her ‘Protector Wolf Shifter’ series, I was really excited to dive into this book as soon as it hit my Kindle. As expected, it was a superb paranormal romance with the rich and vivid world-building and scene-setting that I have come to expect from Ms. Rose. With a bit of an enemies to lovers element, witches, wolf shifters, agendas, secrets, destiny/fate, action, adventure, tension, intrigue, high stakes, chemistry, spice, and plenty more- I couldn’t put the book down- reading it in one sitting because I was so immersed and invested in the story. Tanjie though she was a ‘normal’ human- but with the death of her friend and neighbour, her life takes a strange turn, and she discovers that there is much more to the world than she had believed. Now she must claim her birthright and accept what destiny has in store for her as the future of the coven depends on Tanjie- as they balance the power and actions of the ‘magical’ and supernatural world. Again, Ms. Rose weaves a gripping story with plenty of suspenseful, intriguing, and mysterious elements that kept me turning the pages to find out what was going on. The story ended with things still unresolved – so everything is set to continue in the next instalment ‘New Moon Fate’ (Book #2) – and I can’t wait. Happy Reading…

After reading the Protector Wolf Shifter series by this author Lilliana Rose, I just had to pick up this one. Dark Moon Secrets was another great paranormal read by her. This is the first book of the Witch Moon series and I’m already ready to start the second 😂 Just like the other books, When I tell you I devoured this book, mann!! I was instantly in love and intrigued with her unique storytelling and fantastic character building. This book has witches, shifters, drama, mystery, secrets and the oh so sweet forbidden romance between Alaric and Tanjie. I’m waiting patiently for the next book(New Moon Fate), I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us. To see just how powerful Tanjie will get! Ps: I also love this cover 🥰

Reading this book about Tanjie and Alaric was very amusing, but at the same time I wanted to throttle them both. Both were stubborn in their own ways. Both very ignorant at first, but watching them work through those ignorance’s, and having their lightbulb moment had my shouting “Finally!” I loved that this book was based in Australia, and had a modern twist to it. The supernatural aspect was a little different and it was a breath of fresh air. Trying to do something new when you already have a very set supernatural world that everyone knows, is a feat in it’s own right. The storytelling was very well done and I can’t wait to see what this author bring to the table in her next book!

This book is well written and interesting fantasy story that gives a fresh take on this genre. I loved getting to know the characters. Their relationship is complicated and hard and relatable. Seeing them navigate through everything going on really pulled me in. The storyline was well developed. I loved how so much seemed to play into it and I wanted to see how everything would play out. This is the kind of story that I kept thinking about and had to keep coming back to until it was finished. This is the first book outside of a particular series that I have read by this author and I am pleased it is just as good. I cannot wait to see what else is to come.

Dark Moon Secrets is the exciting first book in The Witch Moon series. It is a paranormal romance tale that is fast-paced and is action packed full of drama, danger, and tension. I love a good paranormal tale and this one had me on the edge of my seat and my heart pumping. It is mysterious, intense, suspenseful and intriguing.
I have really enjoyed each and every book I have read by Lilliana and this one is no different. A great start to this new series.
There is a cast of many in this book, but they are interesting, well developed and fully realised and it is so easy to become invested in them. With witches, shifters, unexpected inheritances, rebellions, secrets, lies, hatred and mates there is not a dull moment to be had.
Tanjie has no idea who or what she is when she turns up to claim her inheritance. It is definitely not what she expected. She is thrust into a world she knows nothing about. A world she is not sure she wants to belong to. A world of secrets and lies that have been long buried and are about to come to light.
Tensions are running high as the alpha of the pack decide to make a stand that could destroy them all. That is until a mysterious woman comes to town. She will either make or break him.
Dark Moon Secrets is one tale that I am not going to share with you because you should enjoy that story as you slowly reveal its secrets as you turn the pages. If you love paranormal romance, then give this book a try. You know you want to.
I look forward to more of this series from Lilliana.

Tanjie has always considered herself as a logical and mature human, with parents like her that believe in magic and destiny she was forced to grow up before her time. Now life has a kind of funny sense of timing and with the death of one of her most beloved neighbors she is about to understand that her mom and dad were on the dot more so than she could ever understand.
Alaric is ready for the next step on the pack’s life, lacking the discipline should be a problem but no one that he considers important, the call of freedom has been received and he cannot wait any longer.
This story is full of magic, secrets, it will leave you hanging on until the very end.

This is the second series I’ve read (well, started to read, this being the first book in this particular series), and Lilliana Rose is consistent in her character development and gradual revealing of storyline. I definitely enjoy the paranormal romance trope, witches and werewolves being the center of this dramatic storyline, and the battle between the coven and other supernatural creatures is definitely intriguing. Probably one of the best things Ms. Rose does is leave each book almost as a cliffhanger- you HAVE to read the next one to continue the story! I love the significance of the Dark Moon that she brings to the story, adding an extra layer of mysticism to an already intriguing storyline, and the forbidden love between Tanji (witch) and Al (werewolf) is steamy from the get go. Looking forward to book 2!
