But, when Tanjie shows up, the bookstore is nothing like she expected. In fact, it’s full of more secrets than she ever could have imagined. Her life is about to change…whether she likes it or not. At least there is a hot guy to make things interesting…

Alaric, a wolf shifter, spends more time finding women to lose himsel in than paying attentions to what’s going on the pack However, when his dad (who happens to be the alpha) lets the pack know that it’s time to stand up to the witches, Alaric realizes he must put the pack first in order to show his dad he is ready to become the beta and take over as alpha one day. But, when he finds out that the new woman in town is actually a witch, he finds his loyalty being tested. There is a pull he feels toward Tanjie…but what will he do when the time comes to fight the witches?

First off, this book ends with a cliffhanger. I will definitely be checking out the next book because I need to know what happens with these two. I found myself invested in Tanjie’s training and I also want to know what her skill is. And, it seems to be a big no-no for a witch and wolf shifter to be together…but could there be something bigger at play here?!? I can’t wait to see.
