Short and sweet. The story was fun for me, Garrett’s mom getting ready to marry the alpha from a wolf pack and his dad being dead, but was his dad really dead? The concept of Quinnlan getting a second chance by the Gods is interesting, I really wanted a longer story, especially with the romance with Garrett finally coming to fruition. I also liked the fact that Garrett wasn’t deterred really by Quinnlan’s confession about who he is because he already believes. So many great aspects to this story, it was so interesting I wanted more!

Happy Halloween my spooky friends and what a wonderful time to read this book! I’m pretty sure this is my first read by this author and I really felt captivated from beginning to end. I’m so excited to delve into other stories from this talented creator! This book really pulled me in and kept me interested until the end- the premise of only having 3 days to find your mate (plus all the other rules) in order to avoid purgatory is a really fun idea. I’m excited to read other works by this author to see what other twists and turns they could put me through because this book really was such fun. I loved the MCs. The cover was drool worthy on it’s own and is most of the reason I picked up this book! Loved it and I’m about to go read some more! Check it out y’all.

The Final Bite was good! A short paranormal romance. I actually didn’t realize I was almost done till I saw the bottom of the screen. It went really fast. 3 days. 3 days is all the gods will give to find a mate otherwise it’s banishment to purgatory. Dropped in the middle of nowhere Quinnlan has been left in a motel with 3 outfits to complete the task. A Vampire, that has been told he can use his powers of influence. Which makes things more difficult. Of course I relate to Quinnlan because he’s selfless. Giving up his right to choose and his mate’s right to accept him, to save his life. He risks purgatory to save someone near death. Garrett has just had a bomb dropped on him and doesn’t know how to handle it. Saved by a gorgeous vampire who wants him to be his mate. What does he choose? Does Quinnlan succeed in his task? This story felt a bit rushed, however looking past that the concept though different worked. If you enjoy paranormal short story mm romances, this book is for you.

This paranormal fantasy romance was definitely worth the read. When I first saw this book I decided to try it just because I thought the cover was so beautiful. However once I actually started it I realized it was the third installment and I was a little confused having not read the previous to. But the story was so interesting I decided to stop and read the first two so I could understand the story as a whole. Overall the characters were great, the plot is amazing and well put together, and the book as a whole is a great installment to the series. So if you’re looking for a new book make sure to not only pick up this one but pick up the whole series and read it in order to enjoy this amazing story.

This is the first book in a new series from an author I’ve never personally read yet, but one I’ve heard and read, nothing but amazing things about.
Right off the bat it’s easy to tell how vividly this author pictures her stories while writing them, the depth in the world and characters she’s creating is astounding. All the characters in my opinion were complete, not leaving out much that you need to know other than a desire for more time with them each individually.
The story was terrific, or female lead is a strong, witty, independent(without being to head strong), woman with a career and a wonderful moral compass. Our make lead is masculine, intelligent, loyal and a total hunk of course. Now through these two together and you have a WHOLE lot of page turning steamy goodness. It’s not often that I get invested into characters as deeply as I did with Sin and Raz, their chemistry was addictive, it was all I could hope for when I started this book, and it did NOT let me down.
Without giving away to much, Sin is a PI with a knack for seeing through glamour, which not only comes in handy with her line of work, but also the realm the live in full of magic and “other” beings hiding in plane site. Rad is a man of many things, power that he’s honed for century, wealth a name for himself, you name it. The only thing he wants now is Sin, because to him she’s just that, pure Sin. Except there’s a whole lot of unexpected luggage that comes with what he thought would be a simple thing between him and her.
Anywayssss, if you want to know more you’re going to have to read this brilliant story, I promise you won’t regret it. You may just fall as deeply in love with the characters as I did. I Can’t wait for the next installment!!

Another one on the ‘best stories I’ve read’ list! This is the first book I’ve read from this author and was drawn in by promises of paranormal romance and urban fantasy. The world-building and immediate drop into the main character’s shoes grabbed my attention from the beginning and had me on the edge of my seat throughout. I loved the twists and turns this story contained as it progressed and the hints of intrigue that begged me to finish reading quickly! I can’t wait to see what book two brings!

How are we book 5 in this series already? I have to say this is fast becoming one of my favourite series – these Vampires are just – well to be honest I don’t even know how to describe them. Each time I read the next book in the series I say it was my favourite until I read the next one that is! Master Catteneo – what a delicious vampire he is! I could have read about him all day and night! I love how the author has had a unique story for all of these vampires, each one different yet equally as amazing! Her writing is just superb and she always has me hanging off every turn of the page waiting to see just what is going to happen next, This book could be read as a standalone but I would HIGHLY recommend starting at the very beginning – you won’t be disappointed!!

I really enjoyed this cosy mystery. It was action packed and full of mystery but also with a fantasy twist which I loved. This author is a new author to me but I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to read more. The characters were really well written and I loved how determined Bob is to prove his stories and creatures of make believe really exist.
Bob is a journalist and he plans to prove to everyone that creatures of fiction truelly exist. However his article isn’t want his publisher wants so he finds himself out of a job. When a surprising job offer shows up he takes it. What does he have to lose after all? So Bob find himself on the hunt for a missing Gnome but what he finds during his investigation is more than anyone could ever expect. Bob’s eyes are opened to things that even he could not imagine.
What happened to the missing Gnomes? Can Bob find them? And what else will he discover along the way?
It was a cute story. Typical friends-to-lovers storyline. The two main characters, one a shifter and the other a Mage are best friends, and they secretly love each other. The problem is not only are they from different worlds, but their love is forbidden because Wednesday is a Mage, and Ryker is a Panda Shifter. They are both looking for their soulmates or mates. Neither one wants to be with anyone but the other. You can feel the chemistry within their relationship, and the tension it causes when they cannot be together. However as the story progresses, you are rooting the whole time for them to be together and it seems impossible that they won’t. This is 7th in a series. There are moments when it references or gives a glimpse of other couples and Characters, but nothing that would deviate or distract from this story. I would read other books by this author as I felt interested and intrigued and it moved pretty quickly at times. Will definitely try to read more of this series.

She has such a vivid and abundant imagination, which she uses to weave wonderfully dynamic stories, bringing us something new, each and every time. She seems to have a limitless well of imagination and inspiration just waiting for her to release into the world for us to enjoy. Ms. Valkyrie never ceases to amaze me with her highly original storylines that all manage to have their own identity, but also capture her unique touches that add a special quality to all her work. This is another cleverly woven paranormal MM romance, with second chances, vampires, wolf shifters, action, mysteriousness, agendas, chemistry, family, hope, murder, a sinister foe, emotion, humour, fun, banter, and even a haunted house. The story is set on Halloween, which adds an element of mysteriousness to the story. “Every ten years, the gods choose a paranormal being who has been unjustly killed and offers them a second chance at life. But this second chance comes with a catch, as set out by the rules imposed by the Gods. 1. You have 3 days to choose a mate. 2. You cannot use your powers to directly influence your potential mate. 3.You can only choose one person….If the potential mate rejects you then you go back to purgatory. 4. You must reveal the truth of the challenge to your potential mate.” Easy peasy, right? I am a sucker for a great vampire book and when I noticed that this one came out, I immediately had to add this to my list of books to read. I was FLOORED at the way the authors wrote and the story that was unfolding for the main character. The premise of this book was not one that I had not heard of in other stories, and I was very interested. I devoured this book super quick and was excited and loved this book. It is getting added to my list of books that I will go back and reread when I cannot find another book that I want to start. I cannot wait to read more books by this author!

I found this story to be a short and redeeming story of second chance love. It is nice to see a story like this in the paranormal world. The writing is quite thoughtful. The characters are well-developed and I found they paired up well. Overall, I really enjoyed the story.

I was so excited when I saw Naomi had a new book out and couldn’t wait to get started. The Final Bite is a paranormal fantasy romance story. Her stories just keep getting better and better and like I say with each book this is my favourite so far.
Naomi’s is a talented writer where her word skills, along with her wonderful characters that she brings to life are original and delightful. Her attention to details and world building is richly vivid and easily imagined. I love that you never know what you are going to get from Naomi and her out of the norm storytelling.
I read this in one sitting as it was so good and I just could not put it down. I can’t wait to see where Naomi takes us next.

Dia’s Lure is the third unique book in the A Solstice Quartet. Make sure you read the books in order so you know what has happened before. This is an emotional paranormal fantasy romance where the characters are broken that is until they find those that make them more than. More than they thought. More than worthy. These beautiful and magical characters have been through so much and will have your heart aching for them.
This delightful tale has everything to keep you glued to the pages and make you fall in love with the characters. There is trauma but hope, guilt yet humour, mystery with magic, fears and danger, heartbreak and angst, shifters and so much more. Catherine has a way with words that is able to paint an enchanting and vivid picture that is easily imagined.
This is a wonderful book. I was taken on an adventure with this author’s exceptional ability to tell a great story. This story was full of action, suspense, magic, some steamy moments and really great characters. I was drawn into a fantastical world of realms and creatures and an entertaining story line. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen in the next book in this series. I am so glad I took on a chance on this book, this is a must read. I highly recommend this book.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this story, but it did not disappoint! We meet Bob, who has moved to a new town for a job at the newspaper, but due to his first story about Bigfoot instead of Elvis impersonators, he loses his job. He ends up taking a job helping one of the towns people find his missing gnome. I found the story hilarious, because it’s clear that something is up with the citizens of Mysty Haven, but Bob doesn’t seem to know what the joke is. People will discuss supernatural things in front of him, but due to the fact they think he understands, and there is usually enough ambiguity that Bob doesn’t seem to understand what is going on, but the residents think he does. We get to meet all sorts of wacky and fun characters throughout the course of the story and we get enough information on them, which I am excited to see what happens next in the series! It was a quick and easy read, that I finished in one sitting and it’s definitely a must read for fantasy lovers who enjoy a mystery twist.
If horror is up your alley, you should definitely read this book! Missy is five and has a rather unusual imaginary friend, or so her parents think Fred is imaginary. Missy has a love for spiders that is border line creepy anyways but then people start dying. Find out what Fred really is and all is the trials and tribulations that Missy has to go through. I definitely recommend, this was such a great book!!
Dia’s Lure is the third book in the Solstice Quartet by Catherine Peace. This turned out to be my favourite, so far. The tension, emotion, and sizzling chemistry were set on high- and made for some intense reading. As this is the third book in the quartet, I highly recommend reading the previous books before starting on this one- as knowing what has happened there, and the other characters and backstories- will definitely enhance your reading experience of this third instalment. This is an emotional paranormal romance with a bit of a love triangle, chemistry, sizzle, shifters, magic, secrets, danger, originality, quirky characters, mythology, dramatic developments, angst, friendship, connection, and clever world-building. Ms. Peace certainly put her characters through the wringer here, making them work for every ounce of happiness. These characters had been through so much, and were each a little broken- but together them became whole. They were so well-crafted, so realistic and believable- I was instantly drawn to them, investing in them and the outcome of their story. And Ms. Peace toyed with my emotions the whole while. That ending though!!!! Bring on Book #4, Trina’s Sacrifice. Can’t wait! Happy reading!

There’s a lot to be discovered in Mysty Haven and in this fun page-turner we get to discover it through the eyes, ears and especially nose of investigative reporter Bob. I loved that little pieces were revealed at a time and not everything was explained at once even when it wasn’t exactly natural. I look forward to more books by this fabulous author!!
This was my first time reading anything by EG Manetti, and this book is their first time writing fantasy! While the author’s scifi background is definitely noticeable, they did great creating a fantasy story. I appreciate the more thorough descriptions of the characters’ thought processes , though I would have liked for them to have more personality. The romance between Sin & Rad is a little awkward in the beginning because they don’t really flirt or talk about anything other than work. There are a few flirty moments & a few spicy moments farther in that are great, I just would have liked more of them to really feel the love & buildup. For me it ended up being more of an acceptance that they’re together than a ship. They’re still cute! Sin is great on her own & Rad is great on his own. One of the villains, Aisha, is fantastic & I would have been happy with her being the main one. She was very well written. The main villain didn’t really appear long enough to feel much about them, but they were enough of a jerk to fit. The storyline is interesting & enjoyable with a couple twists that definitely made things better. There were a lot of pop culture references, which was nice, & a few were funny rather than just informational. I also appreciated that there’s enough of a set up for a 2nd book to be interested in reading that one too, without having a cliffhanger. All in all, this was a pretty good book & I would read the rest of the series as well as other work by EG Manetti.

Bob has moved to a new place and is beginning to build a life. This small town is such a welcome home, I would love to visit the coffee shop and the tea shop and spend an afternoon with the locals. All of the characters are quirky, and the conversations are funny. Don’t wait, check out this quaint little tale now!
Better Gnomes and Gardens was a delightful, easy read. I enjoyed the fantasy elements to the book. The characters were well written. If you love cozy mysteries, this is the book for you. Mysty Haven is a place I look forward to visiting again in future books.

This book is an amazing addition to the series and I think it had to be my favourite book out of all of them! I loved the connection the main characters had. Each of them brought something different to the table and the dynamic worked so well. I loved the overall feel of this book too. The author has created a story that is vivid and imaginative. I was caught up in it so easily. This really is a fantastic book and one that I would recommend highly.
This was a cute story. Classic denying of love existing despite it being obvious. This was the 7th book in the series and I have not read the others. I did not feel like I was missing anything. It’s a stand alone book. I do want to read the others though after having read this one! This was a fun quick read.

Wow! This is the most intense of the series. Dia is amazing strong. Trying to survive and hide to keep her family safe. The drama, action, romance ( even a bit of steam) keep it a definite page-turner. We have paranormal in the story. I loved how Dia is really trying to make a better world for the swans. An amazing the story. I found the writing superb. The characters were incredible. The descriptions of the locations were divine. This has been a must read series. I’m looking forward to reading the next.
The story was cute and the characters were likable. The author tried to make their own world by borrowing from the real world, in a way that helped it feel familiar. I hope to get to know more about Gomez and Taylor in later storylines. I’m interested for the future books (if any are to come) to get into the power structure of the different supernatural communities and how they work together. Wen is her own biggest obstacle, but aren’t we all at one point or another?
