Phoebe Alexander is one of my go-to authors! Each book just seems to get better and better and this one is no different! I highly suggest reading this book in order for the story to truly flow. This book has an amazing storyline and characters that are real, in-depth and thoroughly enjoyable. This Phoebe Alexander creates characters that have amazing chemistry and connections that really make this story what it is and help me further connect with the character’s story and feel as though I am there alongside them. We get taken on another rollercoaster of emotion that really draws you in to the story and captivates you till the very end! I can’t wait to read more from this series and what else this author has to bring us!

Mountains Climbed (Mountains Series Book 2) by Phoebe Alexander was the second installment to the series and it does not disappoint. This book continues to follow Lt. James McAllister and Dr. Sarah Lynde in a steamy, page turner that keeps you on your toes. James is deployed and can only think of Sarah even though he knows he shouldn’t as he is engaged to another. Sarah has a new man in her life and as much of a distraction as he is, her thoughts can’t help but wander back to James. These two have so much love for each other but are they destined to be together? What will happen if they see each other again? Did they make the right decisions? This book will make you feel more emotions then you did in the first one. Definitely recommend reading book 1 first as this is a continuation of the first book in this series.

Mountains Climbed is the 2nd installment in the Mountain series written by Phoebe Alexander. As usual, I would suggest reading the books in order. I feel it is important, especially in this series, to get the best understanding of what is going on. The characters from the 1st book are still in this one as are some new characters. Of course, I love all of the original characters and I was thrilled to see they were still there. I really wanted to like some of the new characters but some of them ended up being on my bad list. Sarah, the main character in the book, is really wise and has a lot going for her, she has two beautiful children, a very loving mother, along with a supportive best friend. Throughout book 1 and 2 my heart ached for her. I wanted so much for her to be happy. The push and pull of the relationship that she and James share this slightly frustrating. However I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I understand both of their struggles, uncertainty, and desire. I feel as if they share a connection that many people don’t get to experience in life. I was over the moon reading the ending to this book! I have the 3rd one that I’m starting now. I can’t wait to see where Sarah and James go. Phoebe is an amazing writer with flawless story-lines and character development. I would strongly suggest reading anything by her including this book and series.

I have read both Mountains Wanted and Mountains Climbed by Phoebe Alexander and this third book Mountains Loved didn’t let me down either! I have fallen for Sarah and James since the first book. Their story has such depth that I feel myself getting drawn in every time I open a Mountains Series. It’s an absolute must (in my opinion) to read the first two before this one. You will NOT be disappointed. Also the steamy scenes that Phoebe gives are AMAZING.

Lt. James McAllister and Sociology Professor Dr. Sarah Lynde’s story is continued in ‘Mountains Climbed’, having begun in ‘Mountains Wanted’. This series by Phoebe Alexander just gets better and better. The books do need to be read in order, “The first three Mountains Series books must be read in order, as it is James and Sarah’s continuing saga”. This is a steamy contemporary romance and it is recommended for age 18+, the sizzling chemistry between the characters definitely leads to some steamy sex scenes! This book continues where the first one finished with James deployed and engaged to childhood sweetheart Maggie and a devastated Sarah moving on with handsome Garrett Stone. Although Garrett is a good distraction for Sarah, when her and James meet up when he’s home from deployment they can not deny their attraction. This is a well written story with great characters that I fell in love with in book one and continue to feel part of their world. I am probably bias, but I was cheering Sarah and James on as it’s obvious they should be together but author Phoebe Alexander sends us on an emotional rollercoaster and as there is a third book in the series, we do not discover their fate in this book. I can not wait for Mountains Loved, and I hope that Garrett will get his own story and a happy every after as well.

This is a series I have loved from the beginning and the third book brings it over the top. I highly suggest reading this series in order to help understand Sarah and James’s story better. In this book their story continues. Just when they think they are hitting the top of their mountain, they realize that the mountain has just gotten bigger and there is more to climb. There is something missing in their relationship, will they find it to get their HEA that they have always wanted? They are awesome characters with great chemistry. They make the story come to life, engaging and really made the story for me. I highly recommend reading their must read story, you won’t regret picking it up!

I loved reading the story Mountains Loved (Mountains Series #3) by Phoebe Alexander. It is the third book in the story of James and Sarah. These two have chemistry and a strong love for each other. They also still have some mountains that they must climb. Situations with family and if they will have an open relationship are complications that they must face. What does the future hold for James and Sarah? Will they be torn apart? Will their relationship crumble or will they overcome the mountains that are before them? Read this book to find out. James and Sarah are wonderful characters and this story only makes me love them even more. This is a book that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. There are heartbreaking moments when I had misty eyes and heartwarming moments that are amazing to read about. There are characters from the first two stories brought forward and I enjoyed reading about how their lives are progressing and also how they interact with Sarah and James. This is a book that I found myself thinking about even after I had read the final page. This is a story that deals with trust, past experiences, and grief. It is a book that you don’t want to miss out on. This is a series that is best read in order for a full understanding of what is happening. Highly recommend reading.

I loved reading the second story of James and Sarah. It’ll hook you from the very beginning and it was just as steamy as the first book! I loved how we got more insight into James and what was in his head. The connection between these two characters is so strong even when with different people.

This is book 2 in the Mountains Series by one of my new favorite authors. I would say I’m shocked by the Sgt.’s choice but I’m not even if I was rooting for he and the professor to wind up together. You can’t help but to love James as he stays in Sarah’s kids’ lives even though he’s in a relationship with Maggie. Soon, Sarah moves on as well while performing in a play with her daughter. She tries to fall head over heels with Garrett, who she realizes that he’s not worth what she brings to the table. After the deployment, James returns to only be miles away from Sarah, Maggie becomes insecure. I love the way Phoebe Alexander writes as she keeps us vying for her characters and the way their life is in each book. Pick up this second book of the series to see how this story plays out. Mountains Climbed (Mountains Series #2) by Phoebe Alexander was a great read. I loved Sarah and James and it just wanted them to get together without all the confusion. It wouldn’t feel as raw without it, but when the characters feel like your friends you just want to make everything perfect for them. There are a lot of great plots happening in the background. I felt like Phoebe Alexander did a great job of building the relationships and like with other books it just blends so well.

Mountains Climbed is book 2 in the series and let me just inform you, this is one series you do not want to miss out on. The books are meant to be read In order since the story continues and you do not want to miss a beat. Sarah and James met and had a friends with benefits relationship. It was more for both of them but somehow they both seemed to move on. The only problem with that is, James knows Sarah’s children, mom and best friend. So when you go through a breakup sometimes it’s hard to get over it when everyone knows what happened and can bring up the name of the person. In this book James is deployed and with someone else. Sarah has met someone who seems to be more her style. What is with Sarah and the younger men, who knows. While James and Sarah both seem content in their new relationships, they still cannot stop thinking about each other. What will happen when James returns in 9 months. Will he see Sarah, Will he want to rekindle things with Sarah? Will Sarah want to open that door again or will she move on and try not to get her heart broken two times by the same person? I really enjoyed these two books in the series so far. I loved the characters and loved seeing Sarah’s kids, Abby especially grow up. I cannot wait to read more of this series. Sooo soooo good!! Mountains Climbed by Phoebe Alexander is the second book in the Mountains series. You have to read these in order because the story continues from book to book. With an ending like the first book I was ready to dive into this read. The story picks up with Sarah trying to move on while James is deployed. Will the two of them find each other and the timing be right? You have to read this story to find out. I always enjoy a happily ever after but I also enjoy a story with realism. Relationships are not always easy and don’t always work the way we hope. This series has two realistic imperfect, perfect people. I really am looking forward to the third book in this series.

Once again, Ms. Alexander has me by the heart strings! This is the second book in the Mountains Series and I am absolutely hooked! Sarah is one exceptional lady in my opinion! She is so open and loving and accepting. Everything I try to be but probably fall way short the majority of the time. I love how she deals with her children in an open and honest manor. Something I once again try to do but don’t always succeed at.
In this second book, James has been deployed, leaving Maggie at home, and Sarah has met someone else and is trying her best to move on and heal her broken heart. They can’t seem to forget one another though, no matter how hard they try. As in my review of Mountains Wanted, the first book in this series, I can’t tell you much about what happens in this story. You truly need to read it to experience the full range of emotions these stories take you through.
This series is emotional, touching, heartbreaking, and heartwarming. You can’t help but fall in love with these characters and their stories. Well, except for Maggie maybe. She’s a bit too closed minded and judgmental for me! LOL! I can’t wait to read the next book in James and Sarah’s story! This author truly knows how to take you along on a journey!

Mountains Climbed by Phoebe Alexander is the second book in this series. It cannot be read as a standalone since it is the continuation of Sarah and James story. I enjoyed this second book more than the first. I loved how James seemed to embrace things more in this novel. I loved Garrett at first but wanted to slap him later. I really enjoyed how this story seemed to flow together easily and was filled with a lot of steamy scenes. This book is definitely for 18+ readers. It was an excellent read and I look forward to the next book.

Mountains Climbed is the second book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. This book/series is a steamy, wonderfully written, and absorbing contemporary romance. It continues the story started in book one, so as such, I really recommend reading the first book before starting on this one as it has all the backstory, character introductions, and other relevant information- which will give you a much better appreciation of this story. We met Dr. Sarah Lynde and Lt. James McAllister in book one- following them through all the intense, steamy, and emotional developments. James has been deployed to Afghanistan, and Sarah is trying to move on with her life- but neither of them can erase the other from their heart, or mind. What happens here, makes for really engrossing reading. Loving this story and the wonderful characters sooooo much- and it’s set to continue into book 3- so bring it on!!!

This book was a bit different than anything I’ve read. While I’m semi-familiar with polyamory, I’ve never read anything in regards to it. Sarah meets James, a lieutenant. They have great sexual chemistry, regular chemistry as well. She meets Pawel next, a colleague who she finds out is married and in an open relationship. What follows is a story between the 3 that you have to read to completely understand. Phoebe took a taboo and perhaps a confused and even misunderstood subject and made it something worth reading. I can to wait to dive into the next book!!

Mountains Climbed (book two of the Mountains trilogy by Phoebe Alexander) was an incredible sequel. I could hardly put the book down. I honestly enjoyed this book in the series more than I enjoyed the first book. I will say this though: if you are in an emotional mood, don’t read this book! This one had me crying throughout the whole thing while also laughing. I can’t wait to read the third installment of the series!

The more I read the works of this author, the more I enjoy her writing, her characters, and the stories she creates in every series. She keeps your mind racing with scenes that have your mind traveling where the characters, getting in their minds, and being seduced by them just as much as their counterparts. In the start of this series, the opposites attracts story gets you more excited for the love between Dr. S. Lynde and St. J. McAllister. This book is the perfect thing to snuggle up when you’re alone and especially in the Winter time like it is now to take you to the mountains with the characters in snugly environment helps you feel apart of the story as your imagination wonders through this epic story.

I have absolutely no bad remarks when it comes to novel it’s absolutely perfect in every way! I was pulled in right from the get go I just couldn’t pull myself away from the story. Phoebe has such a way of writing that you feel like you right there with the character’s which makes the read even more extraordinary. I love nothing more when reading a brilliant book being left wanting more or even wanting to reread the story all over again. Exceptional story from an amazing author I would also recommend reading mountain wanted first.

I’m so irritated. Why do I constantly do this to myself? This author definitely knows how to wrap you in the emotions of her characters. To make you feel how they felt. Through the whole story I was slacked jawed with how much you got to know these characters. By how you learn to understand and live their life. I’m not sure if I could be as brave and amazing as Sarah. She is herself 100% of the time. There is no shyness no timid voice. I loved how she gave 100% of herself and communicated what she needed and wanted. That level of honesty is amazing. It just sucks that she doesn’t get it in return. I know millions of people out there that possibly feel the same. But it truly amazed me that the author made these characters so real. Yeah this one is definitely a must read.

Wow this book took me on an emotional rollercoaster. After reading the first book there were so many things that I wanted to happen for James and Sarah, and it took me awhile to get over the fact that James got engaged to Maggie. In this book we got to get more about how James is feeling and boy is he going through a lot. My heart goes out to him. Let’s not forget all the feelings that jump off the pages from what Sarah is experiencing. We also get to meet Garrett in this story and that to say the least is very interesting. There is so much more that goes on in this story than what I have mentioned but I don’t want to give anything away so I’m just going to say this is a must read and I need the next book now!!! I highly recommend this book, I also recommend reading the first book before this one.

Mountains Climbed is the 2nd book in the Mountains Series by Phoebe Alexander. This series has 8 books in it. Sarah and James’ story is contained in books 1-3 and the author recommends that these are read in order. The remainder are stand-alones and can be read in any order. I had already read book 1 and was excited to read the next part in Sarah and James’ story. At the end of book 1 Mountains Wanted, James has been deployed for 9 months and has proposed to his childhood sweetheart Maggie, leaving Sarah devastated. If I thought that book 1 was the most angsty thing I’d read by Alexander then this one was even more so. Added to the angst from Sarah we saw in book 1, now James is even more confused and conflicted. He loves Maggie and wants to marry her, but he realises that he’s also in love with Sarah too. Trying to get over James, Sarah embarks on a new relationship with Garrett. As much as she enjoys spending time with Garrett, particularly in bed, she just can’t let James go. This book gripped me just as much as book 1. There is so much emotion on display from both Sarah and James. You really can’t help but be sucked into their relationship. I have to admit to not liking Maggie but ask myself is it just because she’s keeping James away from Sarah? Would I like her otherwise? I’m pretty sure the answer is no. In my mind she’s just not the woman for him. I really can’t wait to read the 3rd book, Mountains Loved, to find out what Alexander has in store for James and Sarah. I’m sure it’ll be another emotional, angst filled read that will have me captivated as this book has.

I can’t believe that I am about to say this but the Mountains series from Phoebe Alexander is quickly becoming my favorite of hers. That is super hard for me to say because I adored her Eastern Shore Swingers series so much it became a regular read in my life.
With the Mountains series we get to see more of the hot and emotional romance that we have come to expect and love from Alexander. I absolutely adore that she takes an unconventional lifestyle and makes it seem so well, conventional. The emotions and the life changes that happen to the characters become extremely deep and embedded in your soul as you read. I walked away from this book feeling as if Sarah was very real and a much loved person I wish I could meet. The supporting characters get more of a voice in this book, especially James and boy do I love that man. So much emotions got brought to the surface and I can’t wait to see what will come next in the third book!
