This must read is hands down one of the most intense thrillers I’ve had in my hands in a while. It kept me guessing from beginning to end with several moments within the book that left my wondering what in the world had just happened. If you enjoy psychological thrillers, you will love this. Don’t hesitate! This book is a must read!

I love a good mystery/suspense book, and while I was hooked with this story it did lose my interest on a big subject matter that wasn’t given a hint at in the blurb. I try to avoid those storylines, as just a personal preference ( I will not disclose what that is here as it would spoil the story). This had me scratching my head at what was happening and I will say i didn’t see the ending coming, like at all so it got me there, i was very shocked. Was a very quick paced read, and it held my attention from beginning to end. I will read more by this author despite not liking a subject matter in this as it was needed for this story to work, just not my top choice to read about.

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin is a book so full of suspense and intrigue that you will not be able to put it down! This is a new author to me so I didn’t know what to expect from her work going in. However the rave reviews and the blurb definitely piqued my interest. The rest of the book then definitely lived up to my expectations. The book was full of twists and turns throughout. I never knew what was going to happen next which just added to the overall feel of the book. I was hooked from start to finish – so much so that I found I could not put the book down and had to read it all in one sitting! Now that I have discovered this author and her work I will definitely be checking out more that she has on offer!

WOWZERS! This book is so good! There is not a single moment while reading that I wasn’t completely hooked into finding out what was going on at the root of everything. I have never had a chance to read Kiersten Modglin’s work prior to this but I can say now, without a doubt, she is going to be one of my go to for a good mind-bending and twisty thriller read. I look forward to seeing what is already available from her and what will come in the future.
This is such a difficult book for me to summarize and review without spoiling too much of that massive twist that one does not see coming. Trust me, I read the reviews and kind of thought I knew what to expect. Nope, this book takes a whole different turn of events and I loved every stinking minute of it. Harper and Bryant are wonderful and deep characters. I felt as if I was right there with them and experiencing all the emotions that they were having. The detail and world building is fantastic. AS for details those you will have to take my word for it and scoop this amazing read up to find out for yourself. I promise you will love it if you are a thriller fan. I for one will be re-reading soon! Thanks for the fabulous book Ms. Modglin!

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin was a story that I have not read in a long time. It was such an awesome read that kept me looking over my shoulders the entire time. The story is a simple family moves into their dream house and that is where it went wrong. Personally, when you find the house you can see yourself living in until you are old and grey you are excited and cannot wait until you move in. That is until you meet the neighbors. You know the little hairs on the back of your neck, which is a sign of danger proceed with caution. That is how I felt after Bryant and Harper met Jason and Tori. Something told me to scream leave when you can. This is a major roller coaster ride for a story and the ending will blow you away. I would devote time that you will not be disturbed while reading this book, trust me you will thank me when you are done with this book.

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin is a mind-bending suspense story that will blow your mind when you get to the end! You get a whiplash from all the twists and turns and they all make sense in the end! It is my first read by this writer and I know I will be going back to her when I feel like needing something nail-biting that I can drown in! It all starts so innocent! Newlywed Harper and Bryant leave Chicago to move into their first house in a small town where they meet their ‘perfect’ neighbours Tory and Jason. Harper gets a vibe off them but is not really able to pin point it … the further you get into the story you start asking yourself whether they are good or bad or stalkerish or simply crazy … I promise you that you will not be able to put the book down once you start so make sure you have enough time planned to do so!

Oh My Gosh I loved this book!! I found myself reading so fast and trying to slow down to make it last longer. This is my first book by this author and I absolutely savored every word.
I love suspense novels, especially ones that move along and waste no time having me on the edge of my seat. I also love how its obvious its one person so you know it cant be that person and have it all figured out that it’s another person only to find out you are so so wrong. The way this author twisted this story this way then that way had my mind totally screwed up..Which was awesome and terrifying, and completely psychologically satisfying.
I sincerely felt like I was in this book, walking right alongside these characters watching this all play out and that ending…I just don’t know what to say..
I will be reading more from this author like as soon as I can and I hope that anyone that reads this review as vague as it is will run and one click this book because it is everything you ever wanted in a psychological thriller and much more.

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin was a gripping psychological thriller, that had me hooked from start to finish.
Have you ever sat at the end of a book and just went, what the hell… what the hell? That was me, full on, not really comprehending how the author led me by the nose. This book was even told in dual POV and still managed to mislead you and catch you off guard. Again, what the hell?… (These are good, what the hells, BTW)
At first this book read like you’re normal romance, opens pretty clean, meet the creepy neighbours and what not. But then things got crazy, I mean, there is one scene were I’m like, that just happened, that really just happened. I felt for Harper, and it really shows you how things can get out of hand in an instance. It also shows the difference in loyalties, temptation and how when two people are presented with the same situation, that there are two totally different outcomes. Pretty freaking amazing if you ask me.
I can go one and on, but even if i get into character pros and cons, I might spoil something, as everything is so intertwine that one small thing might ruin the magic of this mine twisting thriller. Cause when you get to that plot twist/bomb, you’re not going to see it coming, and you’re going to be sitting there going, what the hell!?
So overall, yes, I loved this book, and yes I am going to be checking out more books by this crazy author, and yes, this book gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.

The Good Neighbors By: Kiersten Modglin 5 out of 5 stars
The story The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin is an amazing psychological thriller that I loved reading. It pulled me in from the very beginning and kept me on the edge of my seat. The book grabbed my attention and didn’t let go until I had finished the final page. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Bryant and Harper Page. They have just purchased and moved to Lancaster Mills. They however find their next-door neighbors a bit strange. They still make an effort to be neighborly and friendly even though their first encounter with their neighbors is anything but a warm welcome. Jason and Tori Fuller seem to be the perfect couple, both in their looks and their home. The Fuller’s also seemed to have secrets. When strange occurrences start to happen at the Page home, Bryan and Harper wonder who could be behind them. Are their neighbors dangerous? What does the future hold for Bryan and Harper? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. It is a book that has emotional dialogue and intense scenes. The way that the author has written the story I felt like I was right there with the characters. This is a story that I would highly recommend reading.

I loved this! I was pulled in right from the start with this story. The twists and turns had me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. The characters were great, they each had a part and they were well played. Harper and Bryant have a new home and a new start. Then they got to meet their neighbors and things are about to change. Things may not be as they seem, something is off with them. I highly recommend you find out what happens, a must read.

Good neighbors invite you over for dinner, bring you baked goods to welcome you to the neighborhood, and wave hello at the mailbox.
Good neighbors do not destroy your life.
When Bryant and Harper Page move to Lancaster Mills, their first encounter with their new neighbors—Jason and Tori Fuller: beautiful, strange, and terrifying—is anything but a warm welcome. Despite their hesitations, the Pages are intrigued by the people they now share a street with. As their curiosity gets the best of them, they discover that there’s much more to the Fullers than meets the eye. Their new neighbors have secrets, that much is obvious, but just how dangerous could they be?
With two haunting shadows lingering over their house and lives, the Pages’ relationship is tested in every way. What exactly makes a good neighbor? And what makes a good neighbor bad?
Kiersten Modglin is a suspense author who enjoys dabbling in all the sub-genres. A Netflix addict, Shonda Rhimes super-fan, psychology fanatic, and indoor enthusiast, Kiersten enjoys rainy days spent with her nose in a book. More than anything, she loves reading & creating life-changing stories.
