Sky to Sea (Crimson Sash Book 2) By Amanda Marin – Review by Rachel Moss

Sky to Sea (Crimson Sash, #2)Sky to Sea by Amanda Marin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sky to Sea was an incredible, heartfelt novel! There was so much involved in the novel (I won’t go into details because spoilers) that ring so true with society today. From forbidden love, to different nationalities, and mental illness, this novel touches on so many topics that are relevant today in real life. I didn’t read the first novel, but this one grabbed me from the beginning and didn’t let go. I couldn’t stop reading it! I can’t wait to read the first one and the last one! I highly recommend this novel, it is also fitting for any each, young adult to adult.

This was a very enthralling, well written novel. I highly recommend!

Broken by Love (The Full Circle Series) by MJ Masucci – Review by Rachel Moss

Broken by LoveBroken by Love by M.J. Masucci
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Broken by Love was a great story! I felt like it was a little rushed in some parts, not what I was expecting from reading the synopsis. Very sweet in some parts, very frustrating in others, it also felt like a story you saw coming, with expected twists. I really enjoyed reading it however, and I can’t wait to read the second novel in the Full Circle series. I haven’t read a novel from MJ Masucci before, and I will definitely read more from her in the future.

Jake Wolfe Series Bundle Box Set (Jake Wolfe #1-3)Jake Wolfe Series Bundle Box Set by Mark Nolan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kudos to Mark Nolan on his Jake Wolfe book series! I highly enjoyed them, they each had a great storyline and plot, and very likeable characters. I loved seeing how Jake progresses throughout the series. I loved the writing style, it completely gripped me. The humor was dark enough for me to love it! I loved the suspense, the thrills, and how well Nolan was able to build up the story that didn’t seem to drag on forever. I highly recommend this series and can’t wait to read more from Mark Nolan!

Mountains Wanted (Mountains Series Book 1)Mountains Wanted by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Mountains Wanted was a great book! Very good storyline mixed with some very steamy scenes, and you feel like you’re living Sarah’s life right alongside her. With such a beautiful writing style, Phoebe Alexander knows how to produce a beautiful story! With a couple twists I wasn’t personally expecting, I could hardly put the book down at some parts. I really enjoyed this book, and I can’t wait to read the next installment and more books from Alexander herself!

Never Date a Siren (College Fae Book 1) by Byrd Nash – Review by Rachel Moss

Never Date a SirenNever Date a Siren by Byrd Nash
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Never Date a Siren is a very apt title, as this book demonstrates throughout its entirety why you should never date a siren. I really enjoyed reading this book, it had a great plot and storyline. I feel like the events could have been a little more detailed and explained, while also on a clearer timeline. It makes more sense at the end, but in the beginning it was a little confusing, as the events seemed sporadically placed. I have no idea if there was a series or a set I was supposed to read before this one, but overall it was a good, entertaining story once the events caught up and became distinguished. I am intrigued to read the next in the series, and also can’t wait to read more from Byrd Nash.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Motorcycle club/biker books are not my favorite genre, but I enjoyed this one. It had a very entertaining plot and storyline, with characters that felt genuine and real. I really enjoyed the two different perspectives, and related especially well to the tall aspect and jokes. (not a spoiler, if you read you will understand!) I feel like it had a very conclusive ending, if you like this genre and theme of story I recommend it. Definitely an 18+ novel though, with the language and steamy scenes involved.

Lillie (Maggie Trilogy Series Book 3) by Mya O’Malley – Review by Rachel Moss

Lillie (Maggie Trilogy Series Book 3)Lillie by Mya O’Malley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lillie was the best ending the Maggie trilogy could have! I don’t want it to be over. This entire series gripped me and held me, I’ve easily fallen in love with all the novels. Lillie was so conclusive as a whole, and so emotional I cried at the end. It was a whirlwind of a story through and through, and like the previous novels on this trilogy, I couldn’t put it down. I really hope for a spinoff in the future, or for some novellas because I really don’t want to leave Naomi and her adventures behind! 5 stars for this book and 5 stars for the whole trilogy. I’ve never read a ghost story that was as wholesome and good as these have been!

Or at least I hope there’s a sequel!

Kermode was a very good story! I haven’t read the first one, but this one seemed like a stand alone novel. This was a great, short, shape-shifter story. I loved the Native American aspect to it. It was funny, it was sweet, it was kind of predictable but in a good way! There was definitely some steam in the novel! Kudos to Maggie Adams on this story, I can’t wait to read the second story!

Naomi was a great sequel to Maggie! All the thriller elements were there, along with more mystery. I couldn’t put this one down, much like I couldn’t put the first down! Mya O’Malley is able to weave this fictional story in such a way, it seems real! It feels like you’re right there in the pages standing with Naomi herself while she battles these ghosts. I highly recommend not just this book but this series, and I can’t wait to read the third installment of this trilogy!

  • Journeys Through SpaceTime was a really good novel! It was a very enjoyable read, great characters and world building. Singles and Other Singularities was so good! It was like reading a diary, or a long letter from your best friend. I was a little confused at first, as I have not yet read the first novel, or any novel that features Leda and her friends and family, but it didn’t take long to catch up. I enjoyed this book a lot better than I thought I would, and I can’t wait to read the next installment!

Goddess of the Wild Thing by Paul DeBlassie III – Review by Rachel Moss

Goddess Of The Wild Thing: A Dynamic Spiritual JourneyGoddess Of The Wild Thing: A Dynamic Spiritual Journey by Paul DeBlassie III
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Goddess of the Wild Thing was a good story. Paul DeBlassie III did a phenomenal job at writing! There is some in-depth psychology stuff going on throughout, but especially in the beginning, and it was a little difficult for me to get in to at first. It’s a great psychological fantasy novel, but I wouldn’t recommend it to a first time fantasy reader. The novel picks up the pace about halfway through, but I had a lot of trouble in the beginning figuring out the plot, and the characters, and overall what was going on. It felt like I was just kind of dropped in the middle of a novel, and left to figure things out. But after the beginning, when the plot starts picking up and making sense, about halfway through, it gets much better! I am curious about reading other novels from DeBlassie in the future!

Master’s Rise was a good story. I’m not personally a huge fan of motorcycle stories, it’s not my favorite type of genre, but I really did enjoy this story! It was very well written, with a clear story line and plot. I had a little trouble keeping all the characters together though. Language and some steamy scenes makes this an 18+ book in my opinion. I’m definitely interested in reading more books from L. Ann Marie!

Amy's Santa (Satan's Devils MC Second Generation #1)Amy’s Santa by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Amy’s Santa is a very well written adult book! It definitely is 18+ with the trigger warning content and some gang related activity involved. Overall great story, as Amy finds herself back in the MC compound with her family, as she struggles to hide her trauma. She’s left with some life changing choices that doesn’t seem so hard to choose. With some twists and turns, I couldn’t put the book down. It really makes me want to read the whole series before this one. As a stand alone novel it is great, however I think the characters would be easier to keep together if the original books are read first. This is my first time reading a novel from Manda Mellett, but it won’t be my last!
