Alice Will: Dreams of Chaos Book 1Alice Will: Dreams of Chaos Book 1 by Ashley Chappell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Alice Will is an incredible fantasy novel, written for all ages! It follows the perspectives of seven year old Alice, fourteen year old Trotter and her cat, Prowler, the goddess Miro and the god Stoicese. Full of magic mythical creatures, the story is a tale of one girl trying to save the world before it’s too late. Funny and touching with some twists, this is a book that is hard to put down. I can’t wait to read the rest of the Dreams of Chaos series!

Forbidden Love; Written by Lisa Jones Gentry, As Told by Joe Steele – Review by Rachel Moss

Forbidden Love: Written by Lisa Jones Gentry as Told by Their Son Joe SteeleForbidden Love: Written by Lisa Jones Gentry as Told by Their Son Joe Steele by Lisa Jones Gentry
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Forbidden Love is the kind of romance story everyone wishes they had. Told in the eyes of Joe, he recounts the story of his birth parents and how he came to be. Deeply touching, heartfelt and romantic, it’s a book you won’t want to put down! This book also does a good job of describing how the colored people were treated, while showing that we have improved as a society, there is plenty of room for improvement.

The Crown of Stones: Magic-Scars (Book 2) by C. L. Schneider – Review by Rachel Moss

Magic-Scars (The Crown of Stones, #2)Magic-Scars by C.L. Schneider
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Schneider has done it again! Magic Scars (sequel in The Crown Of Stone series) was everything a sequel should be. Sarcasm, shock, tons of fighting, and plenty of magic, it lives up to the first book in plenty of ways! I could hardly put the sequel down, and I can’t wait to read the third book! This second book of the series is one that will keep you feeling, and dying to find out what happens to Troy on his journey with the Crown of Stones.

The Traveler: Chimera Rebellion (The Book of Eleanor Book 1) by Shannon Nemechek – Review by Rachel Moss

The Traveler: Chimera RebellionThe Traveler: Chimera Rebellion by Shannon Nemechek
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have not read any of the other novels by Shannon Nemechek, but I will say she outdid herself with “The Traveler: Chimera Rebellion”! It was an awesome read. It was very easy to fall into the story, and to be transported back in time to the Civil War, just as Katie was. You fall in love as she falls in love, and it will spellbind you as the magic is released. It based on historical fact, but as it as meant for entertainment purposes only, it was one of the best contemporary historical fiction novels I’ve ever read! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

The Crown of Stones: Magic-Price by C. L. Schneider – Review by Rachel Moss

Magic-Price (The Crown of Stones, #1)Magic-Price by C.L. Schneider
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“The Crown Of Stones: Magic Price” is an incredible fantasy novel! This first installment was an amazing way to kick off a series. It took me away to a different world, and I got lost within the pages and the chapters. It’s a book about magic and responsibilities of the like I’ve never read before. The closest thing I can compare it to, is Game of Thrones meets Harry Potter, in the adult way. If I could give this novel 10 out of 5 stars I definitely would! I highly recommend this book, and I can’t wait to finish the series!

Addie: To Wager on Her Future (Other Pens, Mansfield Park book 5) by Leenie Brown – Review by Rachel Moss

Addie: To Wager on Her Future (Other Pens, Mansfield Park #5)Addie: To Wager on Her Future by Leenie Brown
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“Addie: To Wager On Her Future” is a great blend of romance, grief, and horse racing as the main character Addie struggles with being who she is, with what society dictates she be. Also a great story if you love stories about horses! I haven’t had a chance to read the other installments in this series, but this one gripped me! I had trouble putting it down, eager to see the story play out! I would read this novel again, and I can’t wait to read the others in the series!

“Testament of Feats: Book of Judgement” was a great read! If you like Game of Thrones or The Lord of the Rings, this book is for you! With much travelling throughout the novel, the adventure never ends with the help of demons, bards, mountain cats and giants, this book will leave you itching for the second installment. I can’t wait to read the sequel!
