To be a Fae Guardian (Realm Chronicles, #2)To be a Fae Guardian by Tricia Copeland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is so packed full of action and intrigue. Titania is one of my favorite fantasy characters. She is badass by putting her kingdom and people before everything else. She really isn’t afraid to break laws to protect people. This is book 2 of the series and continues Titania’s adventures of dealing with consequences of trying to protect the kingdom. Now one person is facing those consequences. Can she save him and her kingdom. She has so much pressure all around her and secrets to hide. She is such a strong character. The author does a great job of portraying her and developing the plot around her struggles. It’s been a delight to read this story. I’ve enjoyed going through and watching Titania battle through and get what she needs. I’d recommend this series to anyone who loves strong female characters. This author is one of my favorites now. I would give it more than a 5 if I could.

To Be A Fae Guardian is the second book in the Realm Chronicles by Tricia Copeland. This book continues the story we started in book one, so if you have yet to read the first book, I highly recommend that you do before beginning this one as that first book really lays strong foundations and provides character introductions, storyline, and other important information that you will need in order to fully appreciate this second instalment.
Having read quite a few of Ms. Copelands books, I can always count on her to provide an engrossing read, and this story was no exception. As with the first book, this is an awesome fantasy adventure, with faeries, good vs evil, fantastic world building, magic, action, mystery, drama, danger, secrets, prophecy and plenty of surprising developments.
After everything that happened in the first book, Titania has a lot weighing on her shoulders. With an evil force ready to strike, it is up to Titania to ensure that evil doesn’t triumph. But things won’t be easy, with challenges aplenty- which definitely makes for a gripping read.
I am hoping that the author has plenty more planned for the Realm Chronicles, as I am well and truly hooked!

Thank you, Tricia Copeland!

This is the second installment in the Realm Chronicles series. We start out our high fantasy adventure with our Queen Titania and her kingdom.

Many are unsure of whether the events she says have transpired in the first are true and she is quickly charged with high treason. She is then given a strict order of being followed at all times.

As this happens, her kingdom and many others are being attacked by locusts. Which threatens everyone’s food supply. And all that she was left to lean on is slowly dwindling.

Will the forces of evil overcome her or will she reign supreme as the Queen?

This is book two in the Realm Chronicles. I do suggest that you read this series from the start. Even though Titania saved the realm from the Kobold, she broke two rules of the High Council. Although she is Queen, Justice must be served. If a monarch is not held accountable by their actions, imagine what a commoner will try to get away with. Things could have gone worse but Titania is losing faith and hope.

This book has less action than the first. The author focuses more on Titania’s growth of character. The enemy takes a new form which she has to fight. I loved the addition of her cousins as characters, they added something special. I did get a little tired of Titania’s woe is me attitude. I feel that there was too much repetition with that. Regardless, the book was well written and the story was interesting. I’m looking forward to reading the next part.

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I enjoy her writing skills and her attention to details that bring reality to her stories. This book is no different. This is a fantasy story that is fast paced and engaging. The author’s creative characters pulled me into the story from the beginning. They took me on an adventure of magic and evil spirits. They are not only connectable but give life to the story. This is a story of a journey to Middle Earth and a race of survival to save all from darkness. This is a really great fantasy story that was hard to put down. It is the second book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous book to help your enhancement of this series and author. This is a book that is worth the pick up for sure. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I’ve recently started adding fantasy novels into my TBR pile and am glad I did! This book had me hanging on to every page I read wondering what would happen next. To be so young, Titania is fierce and I loved her character. Because I’m still getting used to fantasy, the language wasn’t something I was quite used to. This is a great started book to the series.

Great fantasy novel. I was a little nervous going into this book, I’ve read all kind of fae things here lately from acotar, the savage and the swan, the secerets of shadow and blood , etc. This book exceeded my expectations though! The author has great world building and character development! Which I find to be a little rare with some newer books.
This is a great coming of age book and was such a fun read .

To Be A Fae Queen (Realm Chronicles Book 1) By Tricia Copeland – Review by Jeannie Anderson

I completely LOVED To Be A Fae Queen from page one. Princess Titania is only fifteen but a worthy successor of the crown. She’s very smart, compassionate and extremely skilled with archery. She literally cannot miss a shot no matter the distance. All of the characters are richly written, especially Titania. She faces many challenges and many hard decisions and faces each one with courage, grace and wisdom. Titania isn’t perfect and has a beautiful hero’s journey.

The world Titania lives in is beautiful but can be scary with the evil creatures plaguing their land. Amazing story by Tricia Copeland.  I cannot wait to read more about Titania.

She has the spunk to be herself and seriously puts you in for a good ride of a book! She has lost her brothers, and with all the war and mysteries ahead of her, she has so much to accomplish as much as still a whole life ahead of her to enjoy. It was a long book but so worth it!

This book starts off and IMMEDIATELY grabs you. We start off with our main female lead Titania. You are quickly introduced to other characters including her mother and father who are still in their minds very broken from a prior tragedy.

The kingdom is under attack from the kobold and they are doing everything to protect their realm.

I loved the layout of the realms and how they described where they were, as it isn’t something I have seen done before. Titania is a very relatable character as well. This story is just a wonderful dive into the fantasy world of the Fae.

One of the best books about fae I have read! There was so much background information that I learned about fae, their powers, and the magical life they live. The author really puts the visual of fae life in your head and you want to live in their kingdom. I loved the idea of the setting of lower, middle, and upper Earth with the fae living in the middle Earth. This story has it all: action, adventure, fantasy, and even romance. The teenager fights for her right to rule and all the obstacles she has to overcome. Such a good story to the very end.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book truly captured my heart right from the start, I love anything regarding Fae and the cover was so beautifully illustrated I could not say no to starting this series! The beauty of the world of the Fae came out alive, and the characters were so real and wonderful, especially Titania she is someone who had so much growth at the beginning of the novel and seemed to only grow as I read through!

Titania was more than just a remarkable character. She had lost a lot, and gained as ruler of her kingdom. With a heavy heart she was putting the kingdom’s land best interest first. The path that is destined is not always seemed easiest even with the most light though. She had many options on how to ho about things, but was really was that her true fate and perhaps her stories she knew of within the deep of her land? Would a marriage be her downfall? She was very strong willed and I found she really put her heart in all she did! The book had me hooked as I said right from the start, as I read though, I was more and more under its spell. A lot of things happen, and seriously it made the book so captivating in many ways and I had to keep reading to see what Titania would have to face and endure!

The book was so well written. The characters and as well as the visual aspects of the novel itself, of Titania’s world really came to life for me as a reader. I honestly felt I was in their world as well. I loved it and it was amazing, it was a remarkable book with a story that does not come along often. I for sure will be reading more in the series. This one hooked me and did not let me go. I really think a lot of people would enjoy this amazing author as well as be captivated by this novel as much as I was!

I didn’t think I would really enjoy this book like I did and became engrossed in Tricia’s magical world of the Fae realm in Middle Earth. This book is a plot twisting action packed page-turner of a book. It is well plot written, with lots of action, excitement, danger, intrigue, infatuation love, conspiracy, and doubled by plotting, and backstabbing. Titania is a smart, strong willed and caring. She had to grow up fast in her position and become very brave and to learn to stand up for herself to prove herself over and over to show that she can do this, even thou she is only 15 years old. Dealing with panic attacks, she is a well written character. I recommend this book; it was an excellent read.

To be a Fae Queen (Realm Chronicles #1)To be a Fae Queen by Tricia Copeland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was originally drawn to this book by the amazing cover art and the fact it had to do with fae characters. I love fantasy, the characters you find within, and the creative license you are able to use when writing fantasy. This book included fae, a young adult (just 15) who is thrown a kingdom by her father. Titania is fighting adversity, figuring out how to be queen, and also fighting an anxiety disorder with panic attacks that others see as a weakness. Titania proves herself and rises above all that by winning the trials. She learns to gather herself and trust her instincts while making informed decisions concerning her kingdom. This tale involves a little of it all intrigue, action, danger, lies, lots of deceit, and good, wholesome love. I enjoyed the characters and how they interacted with each other especially after Quinn and Holden came to the castle, Foster, and her guards. I did have a little trouble with the flow, maybe, like Titania and Fosters relationship. Then the kobold in the end. They are gone ? Just like that ? Soo many questions! I do realize there is so much more to come as this is just the first book in the series. I would love to read more in this series. What a fun, fascinating start to a series!

I was hooked on these characters right from the start. These characters drew you in so much I felt the emotion all through the story. I read this book in one day. I can not wait to see what will happen next in this addictive series.

Titania is a fifteen year old faerie that is learning how to become a good queen one day. She is devastated when she loses her brothers. Titania is now training even harder to make her brothers proud of her. She is learning how to be a queen at a very young age but she is missing her full powers. Titania wants to make her realm safe but there is darkness that is coming for her. Will she be ready or will she let everyone down?

To be a Fae Queen (Realm Chronicles #1)To be a Fae Queen by Tricia Copeland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I started this book worried that it would have the same plotline as every other Fae story that I have read lately, but I was so incredibly enthralled by it that I could not put it down until I was finished. I read it all in one sitting. Titania is struggling with her anxiety, which is something that I deal with as well – so this made the story even more interesting to me. The loss of her brothers before the story begins showed me a deeper purpose for her wanting to prove herself. For a girl (faerie) so young, it was incredible to watch her change into a regal and humble leader. From the challenge of a woman reigning over the kingdom, to the confusion regarding her emotions regarding the opposite sex, and the deception of people she assumed she could trust – this story literally had everything that I needed and wanted to see. I love that there is something mysterious surrounding her mother and that there is an unknown power that Titania possesses – it leaves so much more to be revealed in future books. The descriptions of where to find the faerie lands in reference to the world as we know it was extremely clever and made it all feel that much more real. I look forward to reading more about the upper and lower realms as well as discovering what happens as time goes on. Tricia Copeland did an amazing job with this story, and I will be reading any and everything of hers that I can get my hands on. Highly recommend!

Enchanting! Stunning! Breath-taking! So many descriptive words to choose from, but these three stuck out the most. Author Tricia Copeland is very gifted and brings her stories to life, making you the reader feel like you are immersed in the story. Her characters are well thought out, fully developed and polished giving us an incredible understanding of each and every one.

In To Be A Fae Queen we are surrounded by mystery from almost the instant the story begins. Mystery surrounding the Fae King Oberon of Aubren, the queen herself and the crystals leave you wanting more. Titania although young in age (only 15) seems on the precipice of life. She wants to be taken seriously, but seems as if she is not really sure how she should go about it. All her attempts are thwarted by her father the King as he wants nothing more than to keep her safe. Titania fights for her right to the throne and takes us on an epic journey as she attempts to solve the magical mystical mysteries that are plaguing her kingdom.

I love the details Ms. Copeland added to this book. The simplest being the map, however while simple, the map really aides in your expedition throughout the tale! I love the unmitigated brilliance of Ms. Copeland’s artisanship.

What a world to get lost in! Titania has trained for this day for years. When her father won’t listen to her about how to take out the evil lurking in their realm, she takes things into her own hands to defeat them and seal the opening. With her father injured, he passes the crown on to Titania. When someone stands up to dispute her reign because he wants to see his son on the throne, will it be the end of Titania’s reign already? She shows strength and wisdom when she is confronted.
Her best friend Foster transfers when she becomes Queen. He is just a soldier and doesn’t want their relationship to interfere with her new position. Transfers?!?!
Can Titania live up to the expectations of being Queen? Her family has ruled for generations, will that be ripped away from her? Was so excited to learn there is a new book coming in January 2022.

Titania is a 15 year old fae princess facing the toughest decisions of her life. She is the last of the line in her family. Her mother is basically catatonic with grief after her brothers where lost in the last wars. She has to decide whether to fight to rule the kingdom or should she allow a male to rule? Should she help with the search for the Kobolds and why they are getting in without being noticed? Or will a marriage help? Tough decisions for an adult, much less a teen. Her father sees her as a child and a girl. He seems to leave her out of decisions so she has to fight ever step of the way. She is amazing strong, stubborn, and brave. With the help of a few friends, she gets through every challenge thrown at her. This is a book that you cannot put down once you start. You will be drawn in by the characters. The descriptions of the house and palace system; the character descriptions; to the action will completely draw you in. It’s got a little of something for everyone. You really just need to read this. I’m looking forward to reading more of thiss series. I hope you’ll join me. Highly recommended.
