To be a Fae Queen (Realm Chronicles Book 1) by Tricia Copeland- Review by Micalah Weatherholtz

To be a Fae Queen (Realm Chronicles #1)To be a Fae Queen by Tricia Copeland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was originally drawn to this book by the amazing cover art and the fact it had to do with fae characters. I love fantasy, the characters you find within, and the creative license you are able to use when writing fantasy. This book included fae, a young adult (just 15) who is thrown a kingdom by her father. Titania is fighting adversity, figuring out how to be queen, and also fighting an anxiety disorder with panic attacks that others see as a weakness. Titania proves herself and rises above all that by winning the trials. She learns to gather herself and trust her instincts while making informed decisions concerning her kingdom. This tale involves a little of it all intrigue, action, danger, lies, lots of deceit, and good, wholesome love. I enjoyed the characters and how they interacted with each other especially after Quinn and Holden came to the castle, Foster, and her guards. I did have a little trouble with the flow, maybe, like Titania and Fosters relationship. Then the kobold in the end. They are gone ? Just like that ? Soo many questions! I do realize there is so much more to come as this is just the first book in the series. I would love to read more in this series. What a fun, fascinating start to a series!
