This was a good read that kept me entertained throughout its entirety. This story is a second chance one with romance, hurt, emotions, great characters and some twists and turns. As I read this book both Wesley and Addison’s characters grow as they get older. I was rooting for them especially after everything they have been through and knowing they were such good friends when they were younger. I don’t want to give anything away, so I will just say that I recommend this book, it made me laugh and shed a few tears as well. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Remember to Forget Me is a contemporary romance about a forgotten love story between a genius and a musician. 10 years prior, Wesley, the musician, is a teenager who falls in love with a poet. Together they write beautiful music, however, one day that all changed when Wesley was left for dead from a bully. He almost dies and loses 6 months worth of memory. With this memory loss, he forgets about the girl he loves, Addison. Addison, however, over the 10 years, has never fallen out of love with Wesley, but was told by his mother to never see him again. She followed his career and even moved to LA to be near him. Addison feels responsible for Wesley almost losing his life. However, one day they are face to face again. Wesley feels a pull towards her and doesn’t understand why. However, Addison knows it will never last because she is scared to tell him the truth. What happens when a relationship that was amazing, rekindles, but under false pretenses?

I really enjoyed this story. The story unfolded little by little which made you just want to keep on reading. I also really loved the characters. Wesley was sweet, caring, and down to earth for a person who is famous. Addison, I felt for her but also thought she was impulsive too, in a way. You felt the love she had for him, but can’t believe someone would do everything she did when she believed there was no future – a little crazy. However, I enjoyed watching them develop and have intimate moments! I like that this love story had a different plot than many others I have read.

This was a great 5 star read. I devoured this book in one sitting, once I started I didn’t want to put it down. Wesley has lost 6 months of his memory from an attack 10 years ago. His career is booming, he is a heartthrob rockstar. He has been having issues sleeping and when he sees a woman that is familiar to him it starts to stir things in him. Of course fate steps in and he sees the woman again and this time he is able to talk with her.
My heart went out to Addison, to watch the man you love grow his career and not remember the love you shared. Watching from a distance, until one day she comes face-to-face with him. Will he finally remember her? Can they get back what was lost years ago or will he hate her?

There is so much more to this read. We get dual POV, which I love so we can see what both characters are experiencing and thinking. We get several twists and turns that you won’t see coming. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. A couple of them made me angry for the way they treated Addison. We get some steamy moments. If you’re looking for a great 2nd chance romance, 1-click and get started today on this one. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Remember to Forget Me (Too Lost To Love, #1)Remember to Forget Me by Hazel Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love discovering new writers, and I especially love discovering ones that will bring me back for more and that is just what Hazel Storm did with Remember to Forget Me. I know I won’t soon forget this wonderful second chance romance and the characters that captured my heart.

Addie and Wesley were once friends who shared a love of music and that friendship led to a teenage romance. However, their beginning was also their ending with a tragedy that almost led to Wesley’s death. Now, ten years later that romance might get a new beginning. This isn’t your normal second chance romance though. You see our leading man, Wesley, has no recollection of who Addie is. The only thing he remembers is the songs they wrote as teenagers, but he doesn’t remember that the songs that put him on the path to stardom were written with her. If the plot of this story sounds intriguing, it is.

I was drawn into their story from the very first pages. I loved the angst, and I loved the mysterious part of the book even more. Who almost killed him all those years ago, and why does Addie blame herself? I also kept dreading when he finally did regain his memory of that time and how it would affect their new relationship.

Not only was this an emotional romance, but it was also a story about hope, forgiveness, and second chances. It also delves into bullying, and what makes someone into a person that would hurt someone else. The answer is not always such a clear-cut one.

I fell in love with both Addie and Wesley, but I have to say Ash might tie for my favorite. What an intriguing character! I am hoping he will get his own book in the series! That will be an incredible read!

Hazel Storm isn’t just a writer, she is a storyteller. Her words are magical and lyrical, much like the songs that Addie and Wesley created together. I’m really looking forward to reading more of this series. She has found a new fan in me!

This was a beautifully written book! I really enjoyed traversing the journey Addie and Wesley are on with them. Their chemistry was so realistic as they fought their own demons to find their happiness in each other. Their shared history was stunningly written and I adored the alternating points of view that fabulously illustrated each of their sides of the story. I’m a sucker for a happily ever after, but I also really like reading stories with a little basis in reality. This story has both, with realistic events and reactions and the happily ever after, I absolutely recommend it to anyone who likes stories with a touch of reality and a happy ending!

Mental health even today is so taboo, which honestly is so sad the fact that this author not only made it a huge part of this book but showed how you can heal from it is amazing. Addy and Wes were teen lovers that were torn apart in a crazy life altering moment and find each other years later by nothing but faith. They show you have to keep going through your lows to reach your highs. 100% recommend.

I simply couldn’t stop reading once I started. The first few chapters were a little slow, as was I in the uptake. I love how the book switches views between the 2 main characters. It is both frustrating and pulls you in all the more wondering how the others perspective ties into the whole story. I both cried and laughed out loud reading this book. I cannot wait for the next in the series. Although it is great as just a stand alone!

An enjoyable and engaging second chance at love romance, with a twist, which had me happily turning the pages. Addison and Wesley were teenage sweethearts who were separated after a brutal attack, which left Wesley with memory loss. Having been blamed for the tragedy Addison had to stay away from Wesley, and was forced to watch from a distant as he rose to fame, singing songs that they had actually written together. Ten years later and Addison gets accused of stealing Wesley’s lyrics when an old songbook of hers comes to light. When the couple come face to face their connection is still there, and one look at Addison and although Wesley does not remember her, he recognises something in her.
Neither of them can resist the chemistry between them, and Addison can’t resist being with him once again, even if it’s just for a night. Does his instant attraction mean that his memories are coming back, and if they do will it be their second chance or will Wesley wish he had remembered to forget Addison. I loved Addison and Wesley and felt immersed in their story, but they did take me on an emotional rollercoaster. The storyline is both heartwarming and at times heartbreaking, with an unpredictable plot that kept me hooked. I was hoping that the couple, who’s chemistry really came across in the narrative, would get their HEA.

When a bully takes everything good from you. What are your options? Addison and Wesley were very close. They wrote music together and were enjoying what they had. But after a tragic accident Wesley lost his memory. Fast forward to 10 years later. Wesley is a music sensation, and Addison is doing well. Until they come face to face. That’s all you get from me, no spoilers for you. This author once again has impressed me. Her books run smoothly and keep you turning the pages. I love her choice of characters. They could be our friends, people around you everyday. This is one series I am sure to follow. I just have to see where the author takes this series. This is a must read, even though there are many emotions. Some may be sensitive to some of the situations. Still worth the read.

Remember to Forget Me (Too Lost to Love #1) by Hazel Storm

Not my first read by the author. Remember to Forget Me is a fantastic read. The author does amazing things with her books and I always look forward to more. This is the first book in the Too Lost to Love Series.

Addison is now living in L.A. and loving life. She watches her high school love do his thing from afar. When they run into each other it starts up a romance that he doesn’t remember. The quote I chose for Addie is: “Everyone I loved was taken away from me. You have the uncanny ability to hit my hot-button questions, Wesley Harper.”

Wesley is a musician and loved what he did. He doesn’t remember the first half of his sophomore year and he doesn’t remember Addie. Then he gets a chance to meet her and finds that he should’ve never forgotten her. The quote I chose for Wes is: “Yeah. The place is pretty big for one person, but it goes with the territory.”

Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

This is the fantastic first book in a new series. If this book is anything to go by then this is a series that I’m going to read over again. I’ll definitely read this book again as I was totally engrossed in this story. I had only previously read 1 book by this author and this is something that I’ll need to remedy as I also gave that book 5 stars.
This is a second chance romance with a difference as Wesley has no memory of Addison due to a horrific beating that he was given, which caused memory loss. It has to be noted that there are scenes of violence which some readers may find difficult to read.
I adored Addison and Wesley’s story. I was gripped from the beginning. Even though it’s a bit of a slow burner to begin with, it was still totally invested in their story and did not want to put it down. How dare real life get in the way and make you stop reading.
I loved that this book is a bit longer than a lot of books I read as I got more chance to lose myself in this fantastic love story. The author has done a fantastic job in creating these characters and weaving a fantastic story for them.
Definitely recommend.

Wesley and Addison are old schoolmates with a budding romance when a traumatic event changes everything. Wesley loses his memory of the previous 6 months – the entire time he knows Addison – and Addison is pushed out of his life. 10 years later, they cross paths again and Addison has to decide if she tells him the truth or not, and there is someone actively trying to prevent them from seeing each other again.

I enjoyed this sweet second chance romance. Addison and Wesley were interesting characters whose chemistry is off the charts. You don’t find out immediately what the traumatic event was. You see glimpses of it, and don’t get the full picture until well into the book, but it was well done. The cast of supporting characters was great as well, though I wish we learned more about Malcom, he intrigued me!

The one thing that I am still not sure how I feel about is what happens when everything comes to light and Wesley sees the cause of the event 10 years before. I feel like it was glossed over a bit, but I also don’t know what I would want to see happen.

Wesley lost his memories of those 6 months they spent together. He went on to become a big star, but things are starting to somewhat fall apart. He runs into Addison at his lawyers office and believes he knows her and goes after her only to find out he doesn’t. He is starting to remember the accident, but is that a good thing or a bad thing? What would you do if you had 6 months’ worth of memories just gone? Nightmares that kept you at bay from remembering all the events from just one night. Not remembering the person, you fell in love with. The haunting dreams of seeing someone die over and over, but not being able to put a name to the face that visits you in those dreams. Think of the one who does remember. Living each day knowing that horrific night changed your entire life. Going on thinking that the love of your life HATES YOU and BLAMES YOU for what happened, when in reality, they lost every single memory of you.

Addie has kept tabs on Wes for over a decade, always at a distance, making sure that she did everything she could to anonymously pay a debt that she felt was owed. After losing her parents and cutting off ties with any remaining family, she has been on her own. One day she bumps into the love of her life, and he has no idea who she is, and that’s when things get tricky.

Wes is a successful pop star! After being bullied and overcoming such a horrific event he found peace in his music and became something. His songs are amazing, BUT not entirely his. After his momager pushes to sue an author for publishing a book (when the author was 14 years old) “using” Wes’s songs her revenge backfires. The day of settlement Wes bumps into Addie. Not knowing who she was exactly, but having this sense about her, he stops her asking if they knew each other. Addie was a deer in headlights and ran as elegantly fast as possible.

Fate has a way of working things out though. Layer that afternoon at a seminar for Anti-Bullying, to her surprise, the speaker who was originally supposed to be there was replaced. And of course, who better the pop sensation Westly Harper to step in and save the day. But what happens when he sees the same girl twice in one day?

Remember to Forget Me (Too Lost to Love Book 1)

I know the synopsis said Happily Ever After,  but I was really unsure it was going to happen with all that Addison and Wesley endured from the day they met.

I’m not sure which one of these two broke my heart more.  The kid who was bullied or the kid who lived with the guilt for all those years, though I think some of that guilt could have been prevented.

I really enjoyed this book, starting with the characters.  Eliot is someone I would like to be friends with, think we would have an amazing time.  Sera and Ash really go above and beyond helping Addison and I love them for it.

The storyline was something any one of could have happen in our lives, at least to some degree.   Overall I enjoyed my time with them.

Endearing romance with a couple of twists that keep you pulled into the story. This moderately-paced story will keep the pages flipping. And, keep tugging at those heart strings.

Addison is a genius. She started high school early. While in high school Addison meets a tall, cute, shy boy named Wesley. Wesley is a musical prodigy. He thinks in melodies and harmonies. Addison and Wesley become fast friends. Addison and Wesley start making music together. She writes the lyrics for his harmonies. He finds the melodies in the lyrics she has written without having music. They have an endearing friendship until everything gets destroyed by a fight. Afterwards, Wesley can’t remember anything of their time together.

Ten years later, Wesley is a mega pop star and Addison is barely getting by. Addison doesn’t care because she wants the best for Wesley. For the most part, Addison is happy in her life. Until one day, Addison accidentally comes face to face with Wesley again. No matter how she tries to avoid rejoining his life, he keeps turning up. Wesley can’t fight the pull towards Addison. He doesn’t want to. As Wesley is starting to have flashbacks of the time he can’t remember, he is slowly realizing that Addison is more than she appears.

I couldn’t believe some of the twists. The outcomes were a little sugar coated but not bad. My favorite character is Ash! He is fabulous and I hope he gets to find his one during the series. Everyone needs an Ash looking after them. This is a series that I will keep on my radar. It is a good one!

This is a new to me author and wow! This book was great.

Wesley and Addison have a past. Due to an incident however, he’s forgotten six months of his life. Addison, being blamed for the incident, has been forced to watch from a distance as Wesley rises to fame. I don’t want to give too much away because this book is just too good to spoil. The chemistry between Wesley and Addison is out of this world. Even when he doesn’t know that he knows her, the chemistry is crazy. Sometimes it’s best if the past stays in the past. What happens when Wesley and Addison’s past comes back around?

I really enjoyed this book! There was so much emotion in this book. I couldn’t put it down! I couldn’t wait to find out how everything would play out!

Imagine not being able to be with the one you love because he doesn’t remember you.

This is the first book in this new series for Hazel. Remember to Forget Me is a heartbreaking tale. It starts out slow but does pick up, so hang in there. Hazel writes characters that are hard not to fall in love with and Wes and Addison are no exception.

Remember to Forget Me is the first book in the Too Lost to Love, the captivating new series by Hazel Storm. It is a cleverly woven second chance romance with a friends to lovers element, mystery, tension, secrets, trauma, past history, pain, guilt, connection, chemistry, steam, intrigue, family tensions/dynamics, memory loss, drama, and some angsty moments.
I have adored everything that I have read by this very talented author, and this book was no exception. As soon as I saw this pop up on my recommended book list I high-tailed it to the website to one-click myself a copy, putting everything else aside so I could dive right in. I was engrossed right from the beginning and stayed completely immersed in the story right till the last word.
Addison (Addie) fell in love with her best friend at the tender age of 13 – he was her muse and everything to her…. the centre of her world. Without him by her side she never would have survived the devastating loss that rocked her to the core. But then her world was shattered again when a brutal attack left her heart in shreds. Now, he doesn’t remember their time together, it’s gone, completely erased, except for a few melodies- and her guilt is a heavy burden to bear. Ten years may have passed, but she is still stuck in the past, unable to fully move on. If fate brought them together once more, and offered her a chance to spend time with him again, would she grab that opportunity with both hands, even knowing what they once had together has been erased from his mind? Will she risk her heart and more pain for a few stolen moments in his arms? What happens if he does remember? Could she bear his hate and scorn? Well worth the read to find out…
This was a fantastic story, and a wonderful start to this new series…. I am hooked and can’t wait to see where we go from here.
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Hazel Storm!
