Mara Gan did a wonderful job creating this incredibly world and characters. She has described it very well. The two main characters are Meda and Perseus. Meda is a princess of not just a world, but a galaxy. She is compassionate and sweet. She has a very independent and stubborn streak that I absolutely love. Perseus is beyond fierce. He is a force to be reckoned with, but he may have found a challenge in Meda. There are ups, downs, laughter, and sadness all in this story. At the end of this story, there is a cliffhanger. This is only the first book in this series so more is yet to come, and I cannot wait!

They work together to survive every obstacle that is thrown their way. Despite facing incredible problems, Russ continues to fight for others, and lire is able to find beauty in simple things. Tamara Ferguson did a wonderful job with this story, and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next.

This is a new author for me, and I enjoyed this story. At the beginning, the author placed a warning about some of the scenes may be triggers for those who have experienced sexual assault. This book had laughter, happiness, sadness, and love for us to enjoy. Rebel Nicks O’Dey did a wonderful job, and I am excited for book 2.

This story is Meredith’s and Lincoln’s story. They meet without any expectations, except for a good time. Their chemistry is hot, but they really didn’t think that the see each other again. However, life likes to knock ya down a bit. Each have their own struggles and strengths. They were a fantastic couple to read about. They were relatable. So far, I have enjoyed this series, and this story was a great addition.

Steele Resolve is the 6th book in the Hawke Family series. I have absolutely loved this series since book 1. This book does not disappoint in the character development and relationships they have with each other. I loved how Luca really found his way in the story. We get to see Byron receive his HEA. Although this story is a bit out of normal reading, I felt that this story did a great job at wrapping up Luca’s and the Hawke family’s conflict. Gwyn McNamee does a fantastic job of developing her characters and pulling in her readers right at the beginning. From the first page, I was pulled into the world that Gwyn created!

This is Dax’s and Cindel’s story. I thought that this story was wonderfully done, and worked well with the series by giving us insight into past featured couples as well as a bit of foreshadowing. The thing I loved most about this story is the character, Cindel. I think that I love her most, because she had the most character growth. At the beginning, Cindel was lost, running, and tired. However, she found her inner strength and really complemented Dax. I love that L.D Rose doesn’t write about perfect characters. Each character has flaws, but each find the inner strength needed to hold their own. This has been pretty consistent in this series. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

This story focuses on Soren Lund and Elena Sol. We have met Soren in the very first book. We have really seen this character evolve, and I was so excited to see how everything played out! I wasn’t disappointed! Aviva did a great job with Soren. He hasn’t had the best of luck with love! We did get to see some old characters, which was very nice. I really enjoyed this book.

I absolutely love the Hawke Family series! I was sad when the last of the family’s book was complete. Even though the Hawkes are not the main characters, I loved getting little looks of them. I was concerned that I wouldn’t like this book as much, but Gwyn McNamee has done a wonderful job. I am so glad that I read it.

This book focuses on Caroline, Dani’s best friend, and Saint, an employee of Savage. We have met these characters in previous books, but I enjoyed getting to learn more about them. Caroline is a mixture of tough as nails and vulnerability. Saint wants to protect those he cares about and is often too hard on himself. I think that they are a terrific couple. This was a wonderful addition to this series!

My favorite thing about any book is getting to know the characters. Deirdre and Vincent were wonderful characters to read about. Deirdre has a spunky attitude, but has struggles that she faces on a daily basis. Vincent is confident and a bit cocky, but he also has a good heart. He has overcome his family’s business. Deirdre’s and Vincent’s chemistry is instant and intense. They also faced ups and downs that neither could control. I loved so many secondary characters as well such as all of Deirdre’s roommates and Vincent’ cousin. I hope to read more about these characters! I feel that Debra Falasco did a fantastic job with this book. This is the second book in this series, and I cannot wait to read whatever is next.

This story was a little different because the main character was younger with little kids. I found this story to be also sad at times. I definitely found Kitty to be one of my favorite characters. She accepted her situation, but worked to make it work for her. I still love reading up on the past characters, and what they are doing! JD Frettier has done a wonderful job with this series! I have enjoyed reading it!

  1. This story gives us Conall’s and Lainn’s story. These two are siblings and care very much for one another. I enjoyed their relationship with each other. The brooch is in another family member’s possession and another story to tell. Like the previous story, I loved the family love that is Maelan has for his granddaughter, Orlagh. His love for her leads him to make some questionable choices. In this story, there is love, magic, and action throughout. At times, I did find it hard to stay focused and the story’s flow was a bit slow. However, the story did pick back up.

These characters continue on their journey of life dealing with change, growth, grief, and love. I loved reading more about our characters and meeting others. I have to admit that I am a bit upset with Connor, and his failure to communicate with loved ones. I was happy to read more about these characters!

Emilio and Toni live in a rough time and both have been hurt in different ways. Though their souls are bent, they are not yet broken. In the story, they are placed in a position that could cost them everything. These are not two perfect people. Each has flaws and traumas, and they fight (sometimes with each other and other times for each other). I love how they change during the story!

This story has so much such as spacey adventure, contains both romantic love and familial love, action, and danger! It went from action to action, which kept me on my toes! I loved getting to know Gina and the crew! These characters really added to the story, and I really hope to get to read more about this motley crew.

I was hooked from the first page until the very end. I really cannot wait to see what Gwyn McNamee has in store for us for future stories in this series.

In the other stories, we really didn’t get to know Storm very well. However, Storm experienced such trauma and change in such a short period of time that it would have been impossible for her to be the same. Storm is finding herself again. She stubborn, fierce, and stronger than she realizes. Now for Landon, he is extremely patient and understanding. I feel that Gwyn really wrote someone special for Storm!
