This story focuses on Soren Lund and Elena Sol. We have met Soren in the very first book. We have really seen this character evolve, and I was so excited to see how everything played out! I wasn’t disappointed! Aviva did a great job with Soren. He hasn’t had the best of luck with love! We did get to see some old characters, which was very nice. I really enjoyed this book.

This contemporary love story that is filled with ups and downs, which provoked many different emotions. This story is told through Manny’s point of view in the form of flashbacks. I thought that that was a great way of telling the story. Autumn Sand did a wonderful job with this book. She was able to produce great characters that really showed great growth and change!

I absolutely love the Hawke Family series! I was sad when the last of the family’s book was complete. Even though the Hawkes are not the main characters, I loved getting little looks of them. I was concerned that I wouldn’t like this book as much, but Gwyn McNamee has done a wonderful job. I am so glad that I read it.

This book focuses on Caroline, Dani’s best friend, and Saint, an employee of Savage. We have met these characters in previous books, but I enjoyed getting to learn more about them. Caroline is a mixture of tough as nails and vulnerability. Saint wants to protect those he cares about and is often too hard on himself. I think that they are a terrific couple. This was a wonderful addition to this series!

I very much enjoyed this book. It is a story about healing with love thrown into the mix. Kerry and Caleb have many things they need to overcome. I loved reading the growth that these characters made in this story. I also loved Kerry’s dad and Willow. This book definitely had some great characters! This story is definitely worth the time to read!

I love getting to read more about characters that I meet in previous books. I love reading about these characters at different times in their lives and after they have fully recognized their power that the brooch gave them. Christy Nicholas does a great job of developing her characters as well as making the world for her characters. Although these stories are part of a series, they could be read as a standalone story.

My favorite thing about any book is getting to know the characters. Deirdre and Vincent were wonderful characters to read about. Deirdre has a spunky attitude, but has struggles that she faces on a daily basis. Vincent is confident and a bit cocky, but he also has a good heart. He has overcome his family’s business. Deirdre’s and Vincent’s chemistry is instant and intense. They also faced ups and downs that neither could control. I loved so many secondary characters as well such as all of Deirdre’s roommates and Vincent’ cousin. I hope to read more about these characters! I feel that Debra Falasco did a fantastic job with this book. This is the second book in this series, and I cannot wait to read whatever is next.

This is the third story in this series. Like the previous stories, this is a short stories with humorous moments. This story was a little different because the main character was younger with little kids. I found this story to be also sad at times. I definitely found Kitty to be one of my favorite characters. She accepted her situation, but worked to make it work for her. I still love reading up on the past characters, and what they are doing! JD Frettier has done a wonderful job with this series! I have enjoyed reading it!

This is a quick, but overall enjoyable read. Eliza has been through a lot! She focuses on finding safety for herself and daughter, Althea. Eliza seems to be sweet, strong, and an overall great character! I was immediately cared about her and couldn’t wait for her HEA. Eliza and Nathaniel had great chemistry, and I really enjoy reading their story!

  1. This story gives us Conall’s and Lainn’s story. These two are siblings and care very much for one another. I enjoyed their relationship with each other. Conall is the holder of the brooch, and he tries to protect his sister the best he can. This leads to several obstacles and conflict for our characters. Christy Nicholas does a fantastic job at describing the world she invents and her characters are wonderfully written.View all my reviews
