Wow, wow WOW!!! absolutely 100% a 5 star read from start to finish. This is the first book from this AMAZING author that I have read and it most definitely will not be the last. The characters dive straight into your heart and keep you captive even after you’ve finished reading. Wil and El (Melodie) definitely have chemistry both musically and personally that can not be denied. As we all know though, no path in life runs completely smooth and this is true for them also. Belief in each other will win the day. I can’t wait to see where life takes them next!

I’m not sure I can say enough about this book. A new author to me and a new favorite!! Salvatore and the lovely doctor have the chemistry to watch. Starting off at the beginning, you felt like you should be behind a screen because they had the hots flowing. They may not have known it but the attraction was there. The drama was fantastico. There’s mafia warfare, romantic struggles and a bit of everything else you might expect. This story kept me engaged from the beginning all the way to the end. I absolutely could not get enough of it. I have since learned this is part of a series and I will be reading the whole thing. This is an excellent book that is going to the top of my list for 2022. You should try it if you like mafia and romantic suspense.

Dainty Damsels is JN Sheats beautiful Halloween collection for this year. I love the illustrations in this book she is a talented drawer and I love the cute and funky characters.
Once you open it up you are filled with the desire to colour and to make them pop yourself and not give them to the kids. Unlike previous collections this on has 30 pages to choose from all set for Halloween to delight the senses.
Not only am I going to colour with pencils and am going to see what these wonderful pictures would look like with water colours.
OMG!!! Rei is everything. I love this entire series. Rei has excellent character development, she finally finds her place in the world. I am just in awe of the whole series. Fingers crossed for another book.

In a world full of supernatural dangers, the Elemental Warriors are tasked with keeping the balance in check. This is the first story of the series and follows Levi and Brooke. Brooke is thrown into Levi’s dangerous world and he tries to protect her. The cliché of falling for the one you are supposed to protect is easy to pick up on from the start but I was all for the hot romance between the two. Brooke has her own secrets and Levi is determined to find out what she is hiding. Together, like fire and water, they create a steamy love story sure to make any reader flush with anticipation. I look forward to reading more about the Elemental Warriors as the series continues. I love the concept of the storyline as it’s an easy and enjoyable read.

I have been a on bit of a science fiction, paranormal romance kick with fate/mate bonds recently so Operation Pinpoint fit right in. It is a brand new world and this intriguing story is full of murder and danger, adventure and a little romance. This tale is a short story but is full of action that packs a punch. It is easy to imagine this journey with these lovable quirky characters that Landra gave life to.
Dravos is no longer what he was. The had changed him and now he can’t go home. He soon finds himself on a mission with his fated one but her heart beats for another. But first they have to survive. Could he ever be the she turns to?
Ravena is kickarse, sassy and independent and has always had to survive prove herself. On a mission to find what she loves and with her heart in tatters she must help the one who will change her world if they survive.
This is a fun story that should not be missed by those who enjoy this genre. Even if you don’t, I am sure you will become a fan once you have read Landra’s work.

This is the second book have listened by this author. She really has great details for historical romances. B. and Luke make a great couple. I absolutely love grandpa and the uncles. The story flowed and I really didn’t want it to end. This book was narrated by Katie Marchant. I’m going to be looking for more books narrated by her. Katie’s voice is very mellow and soothing. This is the sixth book in the Vigilant series, counting the lead in books to each main book. The lead in book for Rebel of Fire is Break the Darkness. We are now following the third sibling Rei, her adjustment to Newport, the Void. Picking up where the lead in ended Rei has survived the accident but is in bad shape, she was near death when arriving to the hospital afterwards.
The most unlikely person in Rei’s mind nurtured her back to health, protecting her, feeding her, caring for her. Finally waking up she was angry, glimpses of memories from the accident and the following weeks came and went. Fueled by two missions, one to find her family and the other to be free of her contract to Megan. I personally found Rei the most relatable of the Lewis siblings, she loves completely even if too quickly but she values life and love. The most affectionate in the family she always needed to have physical touch with those she loved, always hugging her family members even if they didn’t want to, they tolerated her affection. Though she is the smallest in the family she is stronger and fiercer than anyone ever thought. Runt is what he called her since they met only now it no longer held a tinge of pain within her it was affectionate in nature. Everyone she thought was becoming a true friend ended up working for the one person she vowed to stop. Manipulation was a powerful thing and when your one of the very beings keeping the Void open your untouchable. Asher goes against Megan’s demands falling for the one person she told him he couldn’t have. The events of the lead in book feed so much of this book, I don’t want to give anything away. Asher had been alone since the age of three, his mother killed, and his father taken prisoner by the Overlord, his only purpose was to free his father. Rei coming to Newport changed all of that, he still had his purpose, but they found each other drawn to each other, even when dating others. No longer able to fight what they felt inside they fell for one another but couldn’t drop the walls within them. Only after feeling broken did Rei truly find her power. Asher finally breaking his walls allowing himself to feel. Their missions suddenly meant nothing when the consequences were discovered. Megan had arranged for Asher to bond another for a power play, but he broke that deal, so Megan had to send another in his place to complete the mission.
Will the Lewis family ever be whole again? Who took Asher’s place in Megan’s plan? Will they ever be free of their contracts? If you love amazing world building, character revelations and growth the Vigilant Series is for you the author never disappoints with each new perspective you get deeper immersed into the world of the Void. I can’t wait to read the next book Sword of Darkness, to see Reece, Rei’s twin brothers’ perspective of the move from New York to Newport, and how he fits into the already amazing story.

Rebel of Fire is the third book in the Vigilant series by L.M. Preston. It’s a fantastic addition to the series, building on what we have previously experienced, while diving deeper into things, building a bigger picture of what is going on through all the action-packed adventure. This series just gets better with each new instalment, keeping my intrigue set on high, and always leaving me anticipating the next addition. This is a wonderful Young Adult fantasy adventure- including paranormal, supernatural, and sci-fi elements, as well as lots of action, mystery, drama, danger, emotion, magic, secrets, family dynamics, challenges, agendas, and discoveries. This story is again from Rei’s point of view, so I really recommend reading the previous book/s before starting on this one, to give you all the important backstory, character information, and other intriguing details which will help you to better appreciate this story, as well as the series as a whole. Plus, don’t forget that the books build on each other, all adding to the bigger picture being painted- and you won’t want to miss that. Bring on the next instalment!!! Happy Reading!

4.2/5 Stars This is my first read by these authors and it was a good introduction to their work! Wil & Melodie’s romance was very well written and had some depth even though they’re young. The consistency of the music industry being mentioned was nice because it really puts you inside of the book. I enjoyed reading about what it’s like to be famous and rich, yet want to hide from that world. Not only does this book do a great job at keeping you engaged, the ending makes you excited to read more!

Just reading this first book of this new series, I can already tell this is going to be such a great reading bundle series. If you are a fan of fantasy, paranormal, and romantic stories, you will enjoy this first book in the series. Morgan does such a great job in keeping its readers engaged and eager to know what will happen next. Elementals are part-human individuals with the ability of elemental properties (earth, wind, fire, etc). These Elemental Warriors are brought to Earth, most especially to Topaz Ridge, to help seek and kill Chaolts, those who bring supernatural disasters and chaos with them. In comes the Fire Elemental, Levi, whose chance meeting with the girl with a beautiful smile brings the unexpected. As Levi patrols through the streets of Topaz Ridge, he bumps into Brooke, an up and coming graphic designer at a local newspaper. The attraction builds towards one another at this random meeting and it is intensified after an explosion happens in Brooke’s apartment building. Levi ends up going in to save Brooke and starts making some interesting discoveries along the way that involve the strange occurrences and even with Brooke herself.

This was a cute book about the topic of adoption. I think it is an important subject that children should all understand and not just adopted children. I thought this story was unique. The concept of elementals protecting the world from from chaos is something I found interesting. The way the author connected her story to the reason behind natural disasters gave authenticity to her world. I found it intriguing. I loved the main characters. It was a slow build up with their chemistry flaring brighter with each page. Who would have thought that fire and water would go so well together? The story had action, drama and love. The other warriors piqued my interest as well. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series to learn more about them.

This paranormal romance has a wonderfully new story that grabs you and sucks you in.
Levi is a fire elemental who is part of an elite group of warriors who has one job, to protect everyone from this nasty stuff called chaos, and track down the sleepers before the Chaolt do. But then by chance, or what I call fate he’s at the right place at the right time and saves Brooke, from a fire, and she’s exactly what Levi’s been looking for. 🔥
Brooke can’t stop obsessed over this hot stranger who saved her life, and thankfully for her fate just keeps thrusting them together. But what Brooke didn’t know is she’s a “sleeper” a human with latent abilities and are waking inside of her, unfortunately that makes her a target for the evil Levi’s been fighting to stop.
Both characters are relatable and their chemistry is fantastic, the story is new, a different take on an elemental story than those I’ve read before but comparable in every wonderful aspect.
I’m pretty big into paranormal romance, forced proximity, lately so this filled my cup very well. The author did a good job at world building and did not rush to skip through the important character and world building details. The idea to this book is fantastic, the thought put into using real events in history as a premise in this story as to what the sleepers can do is just awesome. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series, I definitely can be read as a stand alone but after reading this I’m unsure anyone could say they don’t want more of this series.
Can’t wait to see what Joanne and our Elemental warriors have in store for us.

A Love Restrained was written from a unique perspective that took a lot of getting used to. There were times where I found myself questioning who was speaking and keeping characters completely straight. That being said, that is literally my only criticism about this novel. I felt like the main characters were really likable, especially Kylee. The plot moved along quickly with some really great twists. I would recommend this book if you like your novels to have twists with a bit of spice and suspense. I look forward to reading more from Becky Flade!

The is the 3rd installment of the Dark Vampire series and, as always, I recommend reading them in order to get the full backstory. Master Trentino has fallen for a human medium and must turn her in order to save her. I love that even after they’ve paired, they still take their time getting to know one another so it’s not just they fell in love and that’s it. That’s what I love about Sylvia Black…her novels are fast-paced, but she doesn’t rush. And that’s a hard feat to accomplish. Again, her character development is superb and her plots lines are amazing. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!

This is the 1st installment of the Dark Vampires series and I am here for it! I love how action-packed and fast-paced the novel is and Sylvia Black’s character development is phenomenal. Overmaster Salvatore Descallia is a force to be reckoned with, but Officer Lucianna Denaro brings him to his knees in the most delicious way ever. I love her spunky attitude and how she completely gives into her situation without letting it defeat her. The whole story is so fast-paced but Black doesn’t miss anything. Lucianna doesn’t lose herself when she is forced to turn (due to circumstances beyond her control) and she continues on her quest that brought her to Salvatore. The chemistry between them is undeniable and when they finally give in, sparks fly.

This is the 2nd book in the Dark Vampire series and it can be read as a standalone, but (as always) I recommend reading the series in order. This is the story of Christian and Delilah and to really understand this story, you must read the 1st book. Once again, Sylvia Black kills it with her character development and her plot lines. I just love how she hooks the readers in with her no nonsense and fast-paced plots. And I adore how much effort she puts into her characters. She makes you invested in them. Christian is one tough, stubborn vampire and he will do whatever it takes to avenge the love of his life, Delilah. Even though I did find Delilah annoying at times, the love she has for Christian is redeeming. This wasn’t my favorite of the series, but definitely worth the read (for Christian if nothing else ;)).

Phenomenal read! Romance is my absolute favorite genre to read. I loved you yesterday definitely did not disappoint. Usually early on in a story, like this, where there is a love triangle. I try to guess who the character is gonna end up with and most times that’s who they end up with but this one had me going back and forth. I just couldn’t figure it out. You have one who is embedded in her past and they have all of this history and then you have the other one who had helped her through some tough times in her life. I just couldn’t figure it out, so I decided for myself who I wanted her to end up with and by the end of the story I was a little sad that she didn’t pick who I was rooting for but I have hope that he will get his happy ending in the next book. Soooo with that being said, as you can imagine I am super excited for book 2. I can’t wait to read it.
This is the 4th book in the Dark Vampires series. While it can be read as a standalone, I definitely recommend reading the others to really understand the storyline and basis behind the novel. I love the character of Romano. Sylvia Black has made him out to be a burly “beast” but underneath it all he is sweet, lovable, and understanding. He is also fiercely protective, loyal, and a formidable leader. I also love Raven’s character as she is extremely complimentary to Romano. She is bright and sassy and energetic. And while she was raised to be afraid of Romano, she isn’t. I love the push and pull of their relationship. Black does a fantastic job of writing fast-paced stories that hold the reader’s attention. Her plot lines are amazing and her spice level is *chef’s kiss*. I can’t wait for the next installment of this series.

Mavis is a young woman living her life alone, away from everyone she loves. Austin and Josh are twin brothers, grown up, and rather successful. Josh and Mavis dated when they were in high school, and one day, Mavis just up and left town, and nobody has seen her or been in contact with her since. When the past comes creeping back up, Mavis isn’t sure how to handle it. There’s a reason she left previously. The book has an interesting story line. It starts off a little slow, but it has to in order to explain the story. Stick with it, it snags your attention and you will love it. The author does a great job of looking at everything from everyone’s perspective, because in the end, Mavis’ decision affected everyone, and everybody deserves their say.

This book is book four of the series. It can be read as a standalone. This book is a rockstar/forced proximity romance. It’s also the first book I’ve read by this author but I’m going to have to read the rest of the series because this one was good!
Ella met Jared, the man of her dreams. She didn’t expect that her dreams would be crushed a week later. She was sure she’d never see him again but fate is tricky that way. Now she has to spend more time than she’d ever like to with him and needs a break. That’s where the cabin comes in. Of course, again, fate had other plans and now they are stuck together even more.
Ella and Jared have crazy chemistry! Even when she hates him and they are fighting like cats and dogs, you can feel the tension in the best way! I really enjoyed this book. It was a good read!!

<span;>This author has done it again with another fantastic book that I could not put down. From the moment I started this book I was pulled straight into the story and the characters. I was captivated by them qabted to know more about their story. The book is exciting and fast paced but holds so much emotion. Every book by this author I find really takes you on a journey.
<span;>I was glad I listened to the audio book version as it really made the characters more vivid. I could imagine them so much more than before. This is a fantastic book and is part of an incredible series. I would recommend you read/listen to them all!!

When I started reading this book I had a deja vu moment, thinking I had read the book before. What caused this was the main characters names – Jayson Donovan and Kylee Parker. I remember thinking of the Neighbours connection. When I looked I then realised that I have read the next book in this series, this book being the first. Kylee and Jayson were secondary characters in the previous book that I read but in this one they are the main characters and I really loved reading their story. This is a story filled with so much angst, something that I love in a book, even though it can be very exasperating and you want to bang their heads together. One thing this book has that I loved is a major plot twist that’s thrown at you. I was gobsmacked when the author threw this curveball at me. I adored both Kylee and Jayson as characters. Kylee is the straight and narrow cop who wants to put away the bad guys. The book opens with her catching Jayson, her crush from high school, dealing drugs. Not exactly what she’s looking for in a long term partner but she can’t help the pull that he still has on her. I definitely recommend this book.

It also adds some extra spooky happenings that seem very similar to the tale. As they prepare for Christmas, Emma brings in her crew to help get to the bottom of this mystery. Can they solve it before the next victim is claimed?
This book series is such an enjoyable read! Each book has its own twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. I always think I know what is coming but it’s never as black and white. I enjoy reading about Emma and her family and how they help others. They have such compassionate hearts for others and the author does an excellent job conveying that to their readers. Looking forward to the next installment!
