If you’re looking for a cozy romance read this is the book for you! Love can start forming when you least expect it. Levi is an Ex-Seal who was given a mission of protection. Bella, I MEAN, Beccy is a nanny who has never nannied before in her life. What happens when her past catches up to her at the wrong moment? Edith MacKenzie perfectly sculpted the way these characters interacted and grew. You’ll fall in love with each one of them! I couldn’t seem to put the book down! 5/5 HIGHLY RECCOMEND

I love a good werewolf romance but they can get repetitive. Prepare for divergence with this one!!
Nolan the “spare” alpha heir has been bullied his entire life but his entire life changes when Archer his brother is killed and he becomes the next Alpha. He goes away to a neighboring pack to train to become and alpha and for the first time in his life finds friends and excels but still doesn’t believe his pack will accept him as Alpha when he returns.
Without giving away major story lines this book is full of turmoil personal growth slow burn romance action and has a lot of heart. The ending left me in tears… albeit happy tears

I have such a weakness for cover art and this is a perfect example of why ❣️📕
So Sol is Mr May and Ember has always has a soft for him but he’s also been her mentor and guide at the firehouse ….
Sol got hurt saving 2 children and he’s hailed a hero by many and rightly so but in his own eyes he’s a failure and he tries to drown his sorrows in the bottle when he’s forced to retire ….
Ember reaches out to him and soon enough friendship grows into something deeper and stronger well it flames up into hot passion 🔥
Sol is older than Ember and I think it’s just what she needs band I’ve always been one to like an older man 😉

This book came along for me at a time where I just needed some happy and with its wonderful characters and heart warming moments that is exactly what I got. To put it simply, we all need a happily ever after bookstore with the fabulous Leona in our lives! This author creates such relatable charismatic characters, places and storylines that she will always have a true fan in me. My heart is now filled with hope and wonder.

To be honest I was a little sad that this wasn’t centered around Geer and Theron, but it was nice to see it from Desiree’s perspective and how she felt with all of the events that happened. In walks Jaxon who turns her world upside down. The two bicker and fight like siblings it was a breath of fresh air. Poor Theron has his hands full with Desiree, and the situations she gets into is funny and scary at the same time. The brief view we see from Geer made my heart hurt and want more information, but I know she will be okay. With witches, vampires and demons oh my! Throw in a little romance and you have a wonderful story. It was written wonderfully with no hiccups. I can’t wait to see what book 3 brings, and I hope i get some answers!

I read this story in one sitting! I took an immediate liking to all the characters and their differences. They’re no stranger to tragedy and rough situations, but are a close knit family and the new nanny Beccy fits right in. This definitely was a wholesome cowboy romance and I can’t wait to visit these characters again in future installments of this series.
I look forward to reading more of Edith’s books! I can tell she is very knowledgeable about horses and writes a story you could make into a movie. It was an entertaining read and I can’t wait to read more. Thrilling and romantic! A great combo.

The second book in the War of Destiny series was good. Julia’s story has always had twists and turns, but this book took it to the next level. I was so not expecting the twists that occurred in this installment of the series. I enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more from this author and continuing Julia’s story.

If you’re looking for a fun short vacation read this book is perfect for you. It has the complete story line of a 300 + page book wrapped up in 150 pages.
Two broken people find each other at the perfect time. Bella needs someone to love and protect her and Levi needs someone to love and protect but also someone to push him. They are perfect for each other.
Great storyline, superb character development. I’m excited to read the next one.

Totally Brilliant!! I loved this book from beginning to end full of action, love, werewolves, fated mates and moments that left me speechless. The story of what fate has in store when you are only the second son of an Alpha….Nolen was just that. Nolen was small and not as strong as his older brother Archer. When fate had other plans…Nolen is trained to become the new Alpha of the Rhyolite Pack and is determined to make his family and late brother proud. There are definite obstacles that try and hinder Nolen from becoming a successful Alpha….I was rooting for Nolen all the way from the training to his friendship with Sawyer and finding his mate.
This book was totally fantastic and highly recommended…I look forward to more books from this author!!
This a fantastic clean cowboy/ romantic suspense novel, and the first in the series. Once I started this fantastic story I was thrilled that it was the first story in a series. The character development was great, the plot was wonderful, and personally I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next. I have read a couple other books by this author amd personally she’s becoming a quick favorite. So make sure you run out and pick up this one today.

3.5stars Secrets, lies and drama This book is interesting and deals with some tough issues with sensitivity. Holly and Nathan felt genuine and the romance aspect was well done. There were moments within the story where I felt disconnected and the story lulled but there was an emotional undertone that kept me reading. YA romance with a little bit more.

This story is so packed full of action, adventure, suspense, and intrigue. Titania is one of my favorite fantasy characters. She is badass and strong by putting her kingdom and people before everything else. She really isn’t afraid to break laws to protect people. This is book 2 of the series and continues Titania’s adventures of dealing with consequences of trying to protect the kingdom. Now one person is facing those consequences. Can she save him and her kingdom? She has so much pressure all around her and secrets to hide. The author does a great job in writing her and developing the plot around her struggles. It’s been a delight to listen this story. I’ve enjoyed going through and hearing Titania battle through and get what she needs. I have read this story but to listen to it on audio gives it a whole new level of comprehension because you can picture it, listen and basically create your own picture in your mind. It’s another level of imagination. The narrator did a great job of changing the voices around and giving excitement to the story. She kept the story going. I really enjoyed the story. Everything came together and made it all work.

This was an enjoyable and engaging western style, clean romance, which kept me happily turning the pages. Bella Orstwell, is an English aristocrat who helped get her abusive Russian mafia boyfriend arrested, but is now in hiding whilst awaiting the trial. Bella has to pretend to be both the housekeeper to the Delaney Brothers and a nanny to their younger sister. Although all three of the brothers are attractive, it’s cowboy, Levi that catches her eye, however, it’s also ex-Navy SEAL Levi who is in charge of protecting her. Levi is busy enough helping his brothers run the ranch and raising his little sister, without having to take on a ‘babysitting gig’. He definitely wasn’t expecting Bella who is both annoying and lovely at the same time, and all he can think about is kissing her, when he’s not ordering her around, for her safety. Meanwhile, Bella is determined not to follow all of Levi’s many orders, but although she has sworn off men, there is something about wounded hero Levi which makes her want to heal him. Soon the couple have more dangerous things to deal with as any HEA can only happen if Levi can keep Bella alive when her past comes looking for her. The main characters are all likeable and relatable, and the chemistry between Levi and Bella came across in the narrative and in their banter. I was hooked from start to finish and I felt immersed in the storyline, which was a good mix of, drama, suspense and romance.

A terribly young queen with insight far beyond her tender age of 16 years old saves a realm and then is condemned for it. She struggles knowing her instincts are right, but a council consisting of a different generation of fae can’t see things the way she does. She perseveres despite some heart lurching goodbyes and she learns not to trust so quickly, except in her own decisions. She makes one hard decision after another but continues above all else to put the realm and her kingdom before herself. Will she regain trust in herself? Can she erase self doubt? Can she protect a realm that doesnt seem to want her protection? Can she mend her tender young broken heart? This series is addictive and is a can’t miss for Fae lovers. The narration adds so much to this story with inflection and personality to the characters as well.

This book was good for my 8 and 9 year old daughters. They love mermaids, and this book was no exception. This was a quick read for both girls, who are still working toward being strong, independent readers.
Trezzie the Mermaid has found a rock that she thinks is interesting, and gives it to her friend Maia. Maia is playing with another friend, Fig, who can’t see Trezzie and feels left out when Maia and Trezzie are playing together. Trezzie wants Maia and Fig to try to figure out what the design is in the stone she hands them, but due to Fig making a water magnifying glass, they are able to see that it’s not a design, but rather a small creature.

If I could give a series more than 5 stars it would be this one. I’m so glad I started with the set because once I got started I couldn’t put it down!
Every story follows one of the Dark Brothers finding their true love. There is some dark themes , suprising match ups (think … NUN!), intense chemistry, opposites attract and then a finale that will answer the questions I had to know about finally defeating their father or “donor”.
Dark Romance , spice, intrigue , Action… this one has it all and you don’t want to miss it!!!

I love being able to follow up a good book with the audio version so I was excited to get to read this one. I thought the narrator did a great job of bringing the story and the characters to life. They made them feel so much more real and I could visualise everything with ease. The story still felt just as exciting as when I was reading it Ns even though I knew what was coming I still felt like I was surprised anew. I really enjoyed this adaption and hope to listen to more of this authors books.

Levi is an ex-SEAL that is settling into life on the family ranch. After the tragic loss of both their father and stepmother, Levi and his two brothers are also raising their much younger sister. Things become interesting when Levi is asked to keep a mysterious woman safe so she can testify against her criminal ex-boyfriend. Posing as “Beccy”, a nanny for their sister, Bella is not anyone’s nanny, let alone housekeeper. One small act upsets the whole operation and puts the little sister at risk. How can Bella make things right with the brothers, especially Levi? This is going to be an excellent series. The first book sets the stage for some interesting stories to follow. Highly recommended!

Isabella Bride of Ohio is the 17th book in the American Mail-Order Bride book series. Poor Isabella is having the worst time in her life. Her parents die from illness and the factory she works in burns down. Living in a time where women have few choices she decides to become a mail-order bride. She starts to correspond with Donald and wonders if this is her happy ending. However, there is danger waiting for her on her way to meet her new fiance. Luckily, she is saved by a Pinkerton agent named Tom. This book is a clean romance and a fun read. I found myself getting into the plot quickly. The characters are well-written as is the plot. Easy to read with romance and twists. I am very excited to read the other books in the series.

LOVED this one! It is a wonderful beginning to a new series. It has action, suspense, drama and some romance. This is very well written from the storyline to the building of the cast. I really *felt* for these characters and I actually was very moved by a scene that included a dog. I enjoyed meeting Levi’s family and learning more about him and what makes him tick. The female lead was a complete mystery and I am going to leave her that way so you can discover her secrets all on your own. She did surprise me more than once.
This is a first time author for me. I adored her character’s and can not wait for the next in the series. While this is a clean romance the story is fulfilling enough that I did not miss the open door scenes.

When Levi is asked by a friend to protect someone until their court date, he says yes despite being busy running the ranch with his brothers and taking care of his sister. However, when Bella arrives, she is not the docile, do as you’re told, charge…she is strong, independent, and willing to hold her ground. While Levi’s brothers, Amos and Elijah, have no problems with her….Levi and Bella butt heads and have some pretty heated disagreements. But this soon gives way to friendship and an undeniable attraction (which Levi is determined to keep at bay for as long as possible). However, when danger arrives at their doorstep, will Bella remain just a job?!? You will have to read it to find out! I enjoyed these characters. I enjoyed watching Levi open up his heart as the story progressed…and Bella started to feel that protection that she has been needing for so long. There was laughter and suspense…and the hope that these two would finally give in to what they have been fighting. Overall, a good book that I enjoyed reading.

This is a contemporary romance story with a bit of excitement thrown in for good measure. This story had a bit of everything you could want from this genre – great characters with a strong connection, a sweet and believable romance as well as bit of action for entertainment. I thought the two main characters worked really well together. There was push back from both of them in the start but the bond between them grew into such a strong connection. I thought the author did a great job with the supporting characters too. Everyone added to the overall story nicely. The book was well developed and a truly sweet romance. I am looking forward to more from this author.

When I saw this book, I was excited to pick it up and dive right into it! This second novel in the Casket Girl Series envelopes you into the world that the author built. The moment I opened the novel it came to my first stopping point-which I wouldn’t have stopped had my daughter not woken up from her nap- and I was halfway through the story! I’m elated that the novel is continuing the story from Desire’s point of view and how she has handled everything since she came to New Orleans. The only thing I was saddened to see was a tidbit from Greer’s situation, otherwise, it was a great novel! Desire out of all the Casket Girls was the relatable one for me, and someone who is honest even though it hurts is someone I want in my corner! We follow her and Theron’s journey in tracking down the remaining vampires in New Orleans, which gave me serious Buffy vibes, who had done her and her friends wrong! Her relationship with Theron is definitely not something I saw coming but thoroughly enjoyed watching unfold. Dark and mysterious Jaxon enters the scene and definitely makes it harder for everyone to concentrate, especially our favorite redhead! I suggest you read it to find out the ending and enjoy this paranormal journey for yourself!

I grabbed this book because of the cover so I dove in blind. I wasnt sure what to expect with this book but it sure wasnt the heart clenching read this was.
High school age reads are not my go to reads as they are usually young but acting older than would seem normal, dealing with situations that are far fetched etc but that is NOT case with this book. My heart broke in a million pieces with each blow we see in this book but our main characters are fighters and I was rooting for a good outcome.
Glad I took a chance on this book, I love this author so knew it would be good.
My 11 year old daughter is having trouble with her reading. She saw me reading this and asked if she could try it. I asked her what about this book had made her ask. She said that the pictures made her want to read it. We read the book together. She was engaged and enjoyed it. Not only was it entertaining but it had underlying messaging around disability awareness, that you don’t have to go through things alone and how to face your fears. It was great to see her excited to read a book for once. I have found out that there are a couple more Jake books so will be reading them with her too. It was a good wholesome book with great messaging. Highly recommend.

This is a really enjoyable romance. I loved the chemistry between the characters both Bridger and Tia know how to push the others buttons and that only sparks their chemistry more. Bridger is well known as a playboy. He plays hard both on and off the ice but this behaviour is now biting him in the butt as bad press and being distracted during games is having a negative impact on his career. He’s decided to lay off women and concentrate on his career that is until Tia walks into his life.
Tia has had a bad experience with rich playboys and has learnt her lesson the hard way. Never again will she be caught up with a rich playboy. However things get a bit sidetracked when she meet Bridger.
The attraction between them is instant and steamy. With both of them not wanting to commit they settle on 1 weekend of fun. But what happens when that 1 weekend isn’t enough. Could Tia be the girl to finally tame the notorious playboy? Will Tia even contemplate more with Bridger? And what happens if Tia’s past is revealed? Will Bridger pursue her as hard as he plays in life? Or will Tia stand her ground and and deny Bridger the one thing he wants, Her?
