This book is good if new to the genre of fantasy. It is very gripping from the very beginning. It has a very basic plot of good verses evil fueled with the use of magic. The main character lives in a world of devastation consumed with magic and grief. Will the world survive? There is only one point of view which I refreshing. This is an easy read with just enough spice. A fresh story of regret, magic and sacrifice. Ian is a character that you want to hold close and become friends with the power resonates off the pages. Before you know it your looking for more. As the first book I am looking forward to the rest of this series.

This book started off a bit slow but I was quickly engulfed in the story. Great writing and good characters. I was a little put off by the main character at first but he quickly grew on me as he worked to confront his past. The world building in this book was phenomenal. Overall I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to dive into the next one.

This book is another great addition to this series. It is never hard to fall back into Isra’s story. This book is fast paced from the moment you start reading. Everything that is happening really grabs your attention and the characters are all so interesting. With each new book this series really does just get stronger. It is exciting to read and I always look forward to the next book. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone.

Stefano Rossi is the Underboss of the Rossi family, his has been a life of darkness from the start and his father is the main cause of it, however, losing others in his family has had a deep affect as well, but there is one spot of light and that is Emiliana Vitale, but she has her own darkness within that she fights on the daily as well, they would appear to be the perfect match, however, danger is always on the horizon for the two.
The Five Families have found out that there is a rat within their ranks and they have their suspicions, but they don’t have any solid proof, but hopefully that will soon change, Stefano is investigating with the other heads of the Five Families, but he has to play the slow game and when he is with his father, he has to project a cold demeanour where nothing and nobody mean anything to him, it is the only way to keep them safe from harm. Meanwhile Emiliana is slowly recovering from a past trauma which was inflicted by the rat they are all trying to catch, is still affecting her now, but she tries to do a bit more each day to break its hold over her, however, when she is triggered by an event in a supposed safe place, she realises that maybe she isn’t as far forward in her recovery as she hoped. The only shining light is Stefano, he can hold the demons at bay and calm her raging emotions like no one else, but the feelings she has for him are deep, strong and undeniable, but the stolen moments they share aren’t enough any more.
As the danger around Emiliana becomes apparent when she is attacked and Stefano realises that he cannot keep the necessary distance between them any longer and for them to truly be free, his father needs to go and he will target anyone who hurts Emiliana in the process, now they have made the first move it is no holds barred. Emiliana insists that she isn’t the fragile Princess everyone assumes her to be and she demands to be able to be part of the plan to defend herself. Will Stefano and Emiliana be able to remove the obstacles between them and their future together, or will they be torn apart before they can even begin? This was such a fun and sweet Christmas read! I never hesitate to read anything from this author, or this series as I love to visit Cold Creek and when I saw we were getting a Christmas novella in for the series I was super stoked! This little novella packed quite the punch too! We get such a fun tale about Amber and Gio, and Talia, Gio’s daughter. Amber is this huge grinch and that makes this have some major laugh out loud moments to balance the ooey gooey sweet moments that blend perfectly with your sweet holiday drink of choice while you devour this read. I loved how this read like the perfect holiday movie with that sweet ending that just melts your heart, it is exactly what I needed this holiday season. I can’t wait to see what we get next!

This is a beautiful Christmas romance story. It is book 5 in the Reigning Hearts Series. I love all these stories set in a small town where people find love. This books was especially enjoyable as its based around the Christmas season and I personally find Christmas one of the most romantic times of year. I love the characters of Amber and Gio. Amber is a strong independent woman. She is also the typical grinch around Christmas and has a deep hate of it because of her past. Gio on the other hand loves Christmas and wants to share this job with Amber. To show her how wonderful it can be. The attention and chemistry between them is instant and passionate. When Gio offers for Amber to spend Christmas with his family, will she take a leap of faith and embrace the season and the chance of love or will she turn her back and remain cold just like the snow.

This was such an incredibly thought-provoking book and I am so glad that I picked it up to read. I have such a newfound respect and understanding of people with visual impairments and how they deal with every day things. I really enjoyed learning about Braille – it’s something I’ve always wondered about and it was explained so well. The author is a true inspiration and the way this book is written definitely made me thin a lot. Her descriptions of things in particular made me stop and appreciate my sight so much. I really do highly recommend this book!
Wow, was a major word playing through my mind while I read throughout this entire novel. I absolutely had no idea what I was going to be getting into with this one because this is a new author to me but I just knew I needed to see what it was all about when I saw the cover and some teasers. I am glad that I dove in without hesitation because this novel really just threw some wild ideas out there that I loved. It had so many things going on but managed to keep things flowing flawlessly. We have the mental health and sinister side of things building suspense. Then you have romance and intrigue building along with our main character. You would think all this gets to be too much but really it doesn’t and I was simply left with wanting more. I can’t wait for book two and to find out what will come next.

So here we have it the final book in this amazing series and what a book it was! I think probably my favourite book overall and I definitely didn’t want it to end. I was really excited to see where the author was going to take this final book and she definitely didn’t disappoint. I was completely captivated from beginning to end there was just so much going on that I couldn’t put the book down at all and read it in one sitting. I don’t think I was expecting Lazarus to steal my heart but her certainly did! The author had clearly taken so much time with the characters in this story because there were times where their words just leapt of the page with such depth of emotion. This really was a fantastic ending to this series and one that I 100% recommend (both book and series!

What a Book! This has a great story plus its very informative. I loved seeing Red get his ending. He is still the rough and tumble Prez but he has that other side for his old flame and kid. These two had a long road to haul before everything gets settled down. I enjoyed all the ups and downs.
This does cover a subject I really did not know much about. Everything was explained extremely well. This was an eye opener for me and probably will keep me thinking into the future.
I loved seeing all the members from the other clubs. And Dang if Drummer doesn’t still have that edge to him when riled. I loved hearing that in my head. The epilogue really made me smile!
Overall an excellent conclusion to this story. I was worried with it being two parts but the author outdid herself with this story.

I found this book was very useful in more than one way, it brought a great understanding for those who read it that may not have known much about things that do not come as everyone. I have a brother who has autism so this book really was a mind blown wonder for me, I really enjoyed it and I truly appreciate the author to what they have done here! A lot of us don’t truly understand what it is like to be blind or even unable to hear as we normally do. This book had activities’ for us to experience what people or children like that have to do every day. It was a powerful book of activities. I feel a lot of people would benefit form this, and have a form of understanding This is a activity book that MUST be experienced. Its beautiful and wonderful all at the same time! Thank you to this wonderful author for creating this!
The title of this book caught my interest and I have to say, I am happy it did. I am not into Tarot cards, putting crystals around my house, or other such rituals, but I thoroughly enjoyed the content of this book. As an introvert who is working to make my life something that makes me happy, I really enjoyed what the author had to say. It was a peaceful read and helped me start dreaming of things that I want in my life. I also like the layout the author used of addressing a topic and then discussing what she had to unlearn in order to make life better for her – societal restrictions or beliefs that we feel we need to follow but might not necessarily be right for us. Overall, it was a really good read. I have a relative in mind that I think could benefit from it, as well!

This is a Sci Fi fantasy story that is the debut book for this author. It is a good start to the series. The characters were interesting, and I enjoyed the world building. The author admits she is an avid fan of sciencey stuff and has studied quantum physics, metaphysics, and all things extra-terrestrial and that passion certainly shines through in her writing. This creative tale is definitely unique, a bit quirky and a little unusual but it works. The ancient being The Traveler has a lot to share and those he meets have a lot to learn. This was the perfect story right in time for the holidays, the characters were very easy to love, and the story was real as real can get! I will admit I smiled through out reading this book, and loved all the holiday like feels it gave to me! I was very happy I got to read this book and enjoy it as I did!
Amber may have had a heart a bit small from past events, but she was still loveable in my own book. I can realte to her so easily, she had painful memories and was hurt and looking at something in a new look could prove to be difficult! She was very easy to connect with. Giovanni, holy crud he is what I would call husband material. He had a heart of gold, and even had the very power maybe to melt a Snow Queen’s frozen heart! He had a lot to love about him! Can two souls who appear so different find common ground and love? Or perhaps they are not so different really at all?
The story was captivating and sweet. It was a book that was hard to put down for me, there were questions for me that I had wonder about, especially in regards to Amber, but everything makes sense as you read through, and I loved that! The author wrote a touching, wonderful, and sweet holiday book!
I loved this book, it was so good. I found it was the perfect book I needed to read to get ready for the holidays, I am so happy I got to enjoy and engage myself into the writing of this wonderful author. If your a Christmas Fan as I am or just a Love Struck Soul like me you will enjoy this book for sure, I highly recommend you read this, no matter what time of the year it is! It truly is one sure to be enjoyed!

I seriously can not get enough of this freaking amazing series. The author writes each one with amazing anticipation and characters as the last book had withheld. I am so lost in every book in this series, and can not get enough, I love this series, and I will tell you that till the cows come home!
This one was just good and amazing as the previous novels! I seriously think this series keeps getting better and better, the suspense and the passion will make me swoon one of these days for sure haha! I fall in love with the characters from each book every time and I can not get enough from what I read!
Honestly each book is different in regards to the story line and the characters. Nothing seems to over lap or repeat itself in the sense of you are amazed and slammed against the wall with the passion with no intentions of ever letting go! For this one I was super excited as Emiliana was getting her story, loved her and she always spoke to me as a character, and after reading this amazing book, I understand why! The danger really intensified in this novel and as well as my thoughts when things happened! I loved this one, think it is my favorite one in the series thus far! Amazing read and do not pass this one up!
As I hope to have made clear, this series keeps on getting more and more amazing. This is one of my most favorite series I have been reading since the first book. I can not let go of these books! No doubt, a must read series and book! Seriously read it! I recommend it with all that resides in my heart!

OMG, this series started out with a bang and each book has continued to be the same way. This story is a dark mafia romance suspense and there is everything you could think of to make this tale an outstanding read. With danger and violence, secrets and lies, intrigue and darkness, angst and fear, intrigue, and sizzling chemistry it pops off the page and keeps your heart pumping and you don’t know whether to sit or stand as you enter the darkness to seek out the enemies. Conveniently Yours is the first book in the Titans of Manhattan series and it was so good! Caspian was not my favorite at the start of this book… but he definitely started to grow on me with each passing chapter.
Caspian is a successful business man, and loves the life he lives. He’s worked hard for what he has and now it’s threatened and he could loose it all. His dying uncle tells him that if he wants to keep the company he’s running then he needs to get married and stay married for a year and a day. Caspian, thinks this is nuts! But maybe, he can find someone who will agree to a marriage of convenience.
Paisley is a struggling Artist, trying her best to keep her head above water. With her mom in a coma and medical bills piling up, she’s running out money and hope. Its one bad thing happening after another and she’s out of ideas to keep all the bills paid and her mom taken care of.
After bumping into each other, and a brief catch up over coffee, Caspian makes Paisley an offer that will help them both! They both feel the physical attraction they have for the other, but will that complicate things? Or just make it more interesting? I know I was entertained 🙂

I have been waiting for this book!!! I was NOT disappointed! I truly enjoyed Stefano and Emiliana’s story.
Emiliana is a victim of Stefano’s vindictive, mafia boss, dad. However, she doesn’t let it define who she is. She might seem like she’s fragile, but she is far from it! I loved her inner strength to overcome the trauma and become a force to be reckoned with. Stefano is also a strong character. He had to deal with so much loss in his life that it turned him into a fierce protector. And Emiliana is his to protect until the end. He is determined that he will do anything, even take down his own dad, to keep her safe. But can he do it before his dad causes more damage? Can he ferret out the rat before all is lost?
Mafia Elite is a well written series. Every character drew me in immediately to their story and I couldn’t help but love them! I am definitely on the lookout for the next book!!

OH EM GEE!! Born in Darkness was the perfect book 3 in Mafia Elite Series. I love Emiliana and Stefano’s story, I love their character development too, especially when together. Emiliana is the one he can’t have, for her own safety, but she’s the only 1 Stefano wants. Someone’s after Emiliana the question is who? She’s been in a situation where she was kidnapped before but this time feels different. A situation that has hardened her to likes of her world and the cruelties outside of the mafia as well. Which infuriates Stefano, but he has to keep his mind about him, so he can rise and forcibly replace his father as the head of the Rossi family. On top of all that they are trying to flush a rat out of the organization, that’s giving away valuable information to the wrong people. I want to say so much but I’m behaving because I don’t want to spoil the book for others. So I’ll end on this note as some who’s read all 3 books: If you have yet to read a Mafia Elite book, stop what you’re reading now and start reading this series! Yes please start with book 1, trust me you’ll get to this book because you won’t want to put it down. If you’ve read book 1 & 2, what are you waiting for? I know your heart beats for book 3 so go on out and get it! No matter who comes across this book, trust me when I say you will not be disappointed if you jump head 1st into the Mafia Elite Series! I just love love love this series and the story of Stefano and Emiliana was dark, twisty, gut wrenching and full of suspense. I recommend reading this series in order from the beginning and you get to really know the mafia families and each character. Stefano and Emiliana’s story is not for the faint of heart. It truly is more dark…..Emiliana’s battle from within after being rescued by Stefano after being kidnapped and the dreams that continue to haunt her. Stefano and biding his time with his very cruel father, who has no problem even punishing his own son if he is out of line, to get more information and hope to take him down. This story really grabs you from page one and does not let go. This book is one roller coaster of emotions and I have been truly vested from the beginning, I cannot get enough of this series.

This sweet Christmas Novella has everything you could ever want in a HEA story for the holidays. There is a grinch whose heart gets softened, there is a little girl who wants nothing more than a new mommy for Christmas and a man who loves his daughter but is lonely. The secondary characters are amazing people and really help the story along. I would say this story is more character driven but very enjoyable nonetheless. This tale could easily be played out on the TV during Hallmark or Lifetime Small Town Holiday Romances. If your looking for a great Holiday HEA look no further! Definitely worth the read!

I have never really been drawn to “magic” books, but this book kept calling to me. I love how the author tells us that books come into our lives when they are needed, and I need this book. One of the things I am working on in therapy is self-awareness and self-care. I liked the twist that no experience or special supplies needed, the world around us is magical. It was not what I think of when I think of magic, I still think of witches, spells, cauldrons, and black cats. What I think of magic now, is different, life around me is magical and I need to take care of it.

Em has been in love with Stefano for as long as she can remember. He saved her when they were just children and he hasn’t stopped protecting her since. Hearing the truth of Stefano’s upbringing was heartbreaking and she has always been the one light in his life that made everything bearable. The electricity between Em and Stefano is insanely electric and I was cheering for them the entire time. So many obstacles keep getting thrown in their way and there is so much action and betrayal that I just couldn’t put this book down once I picked it up. The ending is amazing and this book is just as incredible as the others in this series. I highly recommend that you go back and read the others if you haven’t because they definitely all build on each other. I can’t wait to read the next books in this incredibly addictive series.

This was a great 5 star read. This is part 2 of Red’s Peril so make sure you read part 1 first. Red is surprised to find out that he has a child. Cher isn’t sure if she made the right decision in finding Red, once she found out he is part of an MC. Red has never been able to find another woman like Cher, now that she is back in his life can they rekindle what they started 20 years ago? How will Red react to what Cher has to tell him?
Overall this was a great read. There are some twists, turns and secrets revealed. I have to say that I really loved how Red responded and I fell for him just as much as Cher did. My emotions were all over the place. We get some danger and drama as well. The author does a great job with the storyline and characters, it really opens your eyes to how you should treat others no matter what.
