I continue to find this author to be such a unique and wonderful voice within the paranormal genre. This series has been just such a wonderful journey and I LOVED this latest installment. Each character is so unique. The stories weave together beautifully but can be read as standalone without much problem. However with the brilliance from this author you will want to read them all. ASAP!

This is a new author for me, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but it came with a good recommendation from a friend of mine because she knows that I love anything that has to do with space. She was correct in the fact that I would enjoy it as I truly did. The author did an amazing job drawing me in with his descriptions of the characters and the worlds they were in. I am a true space geek from Star Trek to Star Wars, so I was drawn into this story from the first chapter. I believe that there will be a continuation of his story. At least I hope. There is a whole lot more that I would love to find out because I became so connected to these characters that I didn’t want to put the book down. And I didn’t. I started this book after work yesterday and finished it before I went to bed last night because it was that good. If you are a fan of space fantasy as I am, I highly recommend you read this book.

Intriguing sci-fi Alterations is a very intriguing sci-fi thriller. Jane Suen does an excellent job interweaving the character’s stories. The concept of the chip has an originality and drew me in from the start. Easy-to-read and thought provoking I devoured the book. I am really looking forward to continuing the trilogy and seeing what happens with Dr. Kite.

A really great crime read. This is the sixth book in the series and it was so engaging. Even when I had to stop reading, I was easily able to pick it up and get absorbed back into the pages. Madeline and Mike are so relatable and I was swept up by the drama surrounding the cases. The author executed the interwoven storyline excellently and kept the intrigue going right until the end. If you enjoy a good detective series don’t miss this one.

I truly enjoyed reading this sweet contemporary MM romance with an age gap kink. Once I started I couldn’t put it down until I finished. Bailey and Sam are wonderful characters that I truly loved reading about. These two both bring something unique to the story. I love how they both help the other and don’t realize. The age gap between them just proves that age is just a silly number doesn’t really matter. I highly recommend reading this book. This story at times will definitely pull at the heart strings and leave you smiling cause your so happy for the characters. I truly can’t wait to check out more from this Author .

I really enjoyed this book! It was different from the other N.L. Holmes books I’ve read in the sense that it wasn’t a mystery, but it was great! As a mother, I understand many of the things Uqnitum did as she tried to hold her family together, from being strong and unrelenting to being ready and able to tear apart anyone who tries to hurt my kids. I feel the setup of the journey Uqnitum and Tatasshe endured at the beginning helped to strengthen their reactions throughout the book. I believe it also does a great job setting an example of how we sometimes go through life with certain memories and “baggage” that we don’t realize are affecting those around us. This book had me nodding my head in understanding, pulled me in to see what would happen next, and even had me in tears a couple of times. Overall, it was a great read!

This was a good 4 star read. Jody is someone who has a hard time keeping a job. After losing her most recent job she is given an opportunity to go and help her grandmother with her store. This is where she meets Adam. There is something about Jody that pulls Adam in, he’s got some pretty big walls up due to having his heartbroken before.
Overall I really enjoyed this read. Jody and Adam were great characters and you could feel their chemistry coming off the pages. There were times that Adam could get a little standoffish and rude but as you read more of the story you will understand him better. Will Adam lower his walls and let Jody in? This book was a fun read that I enjoyed on a Sunday afternoon off. Jody and Adam are the main characters and they are great. Jody is a mess. But I liked that she had some growth during the story because it made her more likable. Adam is also a great main character and he was such a good match for Jody. Houses of Deception is the sixth book in The Madeline Dawkins series by Cynthia Hamilton. I know I say this with every new release, but I LOVE this series soooo much!!! I am so happy I discovered Cynthia Hamilton, and Madeline Dawkins- they are definitely at the top of my ‘must read’ list. The story is very cleverly woven with lots of intriguing developments that pulled me further and further into the story. This story has all the ingredients that I have come to expect from a great read, and from Ms. Hamilton. There is plenty of mystery, suspense, danger, action, adventure, surprising developments, drama, tension, and other clever touches. As expected, Cynthia Hamilton, put Madeline and Mike through their paces- as well as crafting a very smart, tightly woven, and thought provoking mystery that had me glued to the pages as everything unfolded. I devoured it all in one sitting. This is a fantastic addition to the series which seem to get better and better with each new instalment. This could be read as a standalone, but I do not recommend doing that as you would be missing out on 5 other superb books that contain so much detail, past ‘adventures’, and character development. Trust me, it is worth starting this series at the beginning! So, if you love a cleverly crafted and thrilling mystery then what are you waiting for? Grab yourself a copy and dive in- but be prepared to develop a major addiction to Cynthia Hamilton’s stories- you’ll find that one book won’t be enough. I am so excited for this series! Sex on Fire: A Quickie Read is the first book in the Naughty Neighbor series by Ashley Bostock. This author really has a way of sucking you in from the beginning and then keeping you there right until you read the words “The End.” This is not first series I have read from this author so I’m thrilled to be reading her again. This is a short story featuring Poppy and Turner. Poppy is a little bit on the nerdy side seeing as though she is into video games and the like. Turner is her seriously hot neighbor. In this very short 38 page story, there is a ton of chemistry and a ton of flirtatious banter. I have fallen in love with this book and cannot wait to read more.

Houses of Deception (The Madeline Dawkins Mystery Series Book 6) by Cynthia Hamilton is a fast paced mystery book. Her characters are very relatable and easy to connect. The plot is quite gripping, In their journey to search to find one person, Madeline and Mike discover that there are more missing people and also a stolen piece of art. There are multiple twists and turns and the plot is nothing short of a roller coaster ride. I enjoy detective stories and I liked this mystery very much. I should very much like to go back and read the rest of the books in this series.

A Cold Day In Hell is the fifth book in the Life Is Hell series by Naomi Valkyrie. You will definitely want to read this series in order to get the full backstory. Beside that, they are all fabulous five star reads. This book is my favorite of the series. I love how the characters come together. I read this book in one sitting, and was sad when I finished because I will have to wait a while for the next book Ms. Valkyrie writes. She has become a one click author for me. Her attention to details make the book flow smoothly, and the characters she comes up with are amazing and different. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

I have loved this series from the beginning and this book is another hit. The author has a limitless imagination to keep coming up with a completely different story every single book. At the same time, they all cohesively weave together to make a phenomenal series. Hadassah and Jezebel take center stage this time, and we learn more about them than we knew before. They have completely different pasts, again a nod to the imagination of the author. The story itself pulls you in and leaves you on the edge of your seat until the end.
There is a basic continuation of the story from previous books, but in my opinion this can be read as a standalone. The varied creatures and relationships are what really make this book and series for me. If you open to supernatural creatures who are nothing near boring, this book is for you.

Looking for a quick spicy read?! This book is for you! The chemistry between Poppy and Turner was enough to catch the pages on fire. My biggest complaint about this book was that it was too quick of a read. I wanted more of their story. I enjoyed it and look forward to reading the next book.

Drifting, Falling is smart, dark, and infinitely unforgettable. Our troubled narrator Ripley is highly intelligent and witty as she unravels her traumatic past and waxes poetical about the men in her life, and her current objective: the best suicide possible. She navigates her daytime life as university student, nighttime job as a very high-priced call girl, and still has time to play games with her therapist. She is sociopathic and cutting, but also hilarious and full of facts as she regales us with tales in her journal. I didn’t expect to like this as much as I did – there is something very compelling about her story and the way she tells it. Her story will surprise you as she lets it out, piece by piece. Very well done and I will definitely seek out more books by this authour.

I started the series with this book. I am going to have to backtrack and catch up on the others. Glory and Kace…My heart. Their story is tragic and magical. What the two of them have to work through to make it to the other side is inspiring. I loved seeing the path they took. This book was a delightful surprise.

Reading the unravelling of this story was gripping, to say the least. The crime against Miss Sally is partially witnessed by Hen Trout, a 7-year-old boy with a preternatural wisdom and an old soul. He’s also a kid who likes pretending he’s a ninja, and is on a mission to find a hedgehog when he sees the violence in shadow relief. The plot unfolds like a swirling tornado, as details become clear, we learn more deeply about the nature of the characters in this story. Marcella tries desperately to hold her family together, even as her older son is blamed and her younger son is angry and confused. A great story, well-written, awesome characters, well-timed plot, definitely a must-read!

You will fall in love with the characters and the author from page one. Hawkins knows how to keep her readers engaged in her novels.

This story is so stinking cute. I love the geeky neighbor and sexxy neighbor vibes. I felt like Poppy was a kindred spirit. The only thing i would have liked more is descriptive sex. It wasn’t fade to black but more or less, fade to grey. I would highly suggest to anyone who’s wants a quick, cute, light hearted read.

The story Journey’s Through SpaceTime (Journey’s Through Book 1) by James Talisman is a differently amazing read. It hooks you in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. The book has many different characters. The way the author has developed each character is just astounding. Each character is so unique that they could have between real people in real life. This novel is filled full of adventure and discovers each characters true potential. While this isn’t one of my normal genres that I read, I decided to give it a shot and ended up liking it.

Captured by the Viscount is a wonderful period read. It is one of the most wonderful historical romance reads that is both romantic and has a comedy twist to it. I was intrigued by the blurb, even though the cover was pleasing to look at, one should never read based on the cover alone. Twenty-one year old, Lady Isabel Carlyle is in a dilemma. Her half-brother, Edgar, is squandering her dowry and stealing her jewels. Matt catches Isabel breaking into his house, he immediately sees a way out of his current need to find a wife before the month ends. A woman in some sort of dilemma, the man steps up to the plate. I just love how this novel came together and the storyline is just wonderful.

Grave Digger Academy by C.A. King is a wonderfully written young adult paranormal novel. This novel is set in an academy for Grave Diggers. What is a Grave Digger? They are the people that keep the dead in the grave from rising up. While some of the characters in this novel say that there is no need for Grave Diggers, they are proven wrong. Follow a young witch with more power than she knows along with her friends in a wonderful story. C.A. King has become one of my favorite young adult authors. While this novel is more toward young adults, adults can read it too and still get a sense of what is going on in the novel. I can’t wait to one click the next novel.

A Cold Day In Hell by Naomi Valkyrie was a great read! This is the 5th book in the Life Is Hell series and I think this one may be my favorite yet. This book was full of suspense and humor, and honestly I couldn’t put it down. Each character has so much personality I love each and every one. While this can be read as a standalone novel I would recommend reading them in order because there’s so many characters you will definitely be lost with them if you don’t. While I haven’t seen anything about another installment, I really want one because I just love this story and world so much!

Houses of Deception The Madeline Dawkins Mystery Series Book 6, was my first book by Cynthia Hamilton. Although I did not read the 5 books prior to this one in the series, I really enjoyed the way this book was written and that the author went back and explained about previous events to tie the story together. For someone who didn’t know anything about the previous characters I was not lost in reading the 6th book in the series and I liked that. The story kept me wanting more by having 2 mysteries to solve in it. The build-up for both storylines was nicely written and kept my attention throughout the entire book. It was hard to put this book down and I will definitely be going back and reading the previous books to get a better idea of what Madeline and Mike have experienced in the past.
The author really adds lots of twists and turns to the story and makes the reader want to find out if the hunches that Madeline and Mike have are correct or wrong turns on the path to solving the mystery. I can’t wait until I get the opportunity to read another in this series!

Danielle Jacks is a new to me author and I’m so thrilled I stumbled upon The Heart of Baker Bay. This story was a sweet and easy read about a City girl, Jody, who moves to a small town to help her grandma run her cafe after her grandma has an accident. Jody is always well meaning, but somehow manages to fudge many of things up in her life, going from one job to the next. She has no confidence in being able to run the cafe, and her family has no confidence in her either. Enter Adam. Adam is the postal delivery man, whom seems cold and shut off from people. As he gets to know Jody, he helps her learn how to take care of the cafe, as well as gain confidence. He also learns alot about her, and she him, making this story that much more interesting! I give this story 5 stars and am looking forward to exploring my works by this author!

After reading the synopsis, Alterations intrigued me. The author chose to start with a slow build then implementing twists and turns to keep the reader guessing and waiting for more. I appreciated the various characters and their points of views. It was cohesive and while some areas left you with questions, they were answered masterfully later in the story. Some of the events left my jaw hitting the floor. The idea of an implant that the character Dr.Kite made is not far-fetched in the real world, making this story a hair tingling possibility. I am looking forward to reading the next book and follow the trilogies progression.

I liked this book more than the first. It is really unique. It connects well to the first book. Cant wait to read the third book because the ending to this one has me obsessed.

I enjoyed this dark vampire romance story. This is a new author for me and I can’t wait to read book two in the future. This is a well written story that the author used details to make the story feel realistic and engaging. The characters are relatable and really made the story for me. Salvatore is the Overlord of the Consulate of Masters. Women are disappearing and his clan is being accused of this. He is determined to get his enemies until he meets a new challenge, Lucianna. She feels helpless against him and his touch is heat. The problem is in order for him to help her, he must make her immortal. What happens next I highly recommend reading this book to find out. I enjoyed their growth throughout the story and their chemistry is off the charts. I really enjoyed this book. It is worth the pick up for sure.

I love The Madeline Dawkins mystery series. Cynthia Hamilton has a way of keeping the story on point and keeping moving. The plotline kept me on the edge of my seat and it was full of ups and downs, twists and turns, and total blindsided by what just happened. I love the characters. They are fully developed and complex in nature. Madeline is back in her detective role. She is looking for some missing people. Madeline is working with Mike on two separate missing person cases, but what they did not see coming was the people whom they were looking for may not be on the up and up. What will Madeline and Mike find out about working on these cases? I highly recommend this book, but make sure you have time to read it all.
