A Hole (Alpha Bet Guys Book 1)A Hole by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Oh, man! Have you ever have that moment when you knew the entire conversation and what you thought about someone was simply miscommunication? This book is all about assumptions and thinking someone is talking about one person and it turns out to be not the same person. The drama the characters face, I can imagine, happens everyday in real life around the globe. There was some comedy, drama, and a moment when I was really rooting for the underdog. This was a well written short story!

The author does an amazing job of making the storyline and the characters come alive. This is a fantasy book that grabs your attention, and the book seems to be over too soon. I loved reading the book Capturing Fate by Abbie Roads. It is a story that pulled me in and didn’t let me go until the final page. The book had me on the edge of my seat with the cat and mouse game that is being played. I was turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I loved reading about the characters of FBI agent Dolan Watts and Psychologist Daughter Dawson. This is a book that gave me chills and had me reading with the light on. I have read several books by the author and I have never been disappointed. She makes the storyline and the characters come alive. The story includes a truly evil character. The author knows how to weave a tale that you will not soon forget. The author makes both the storyline and the characters come alive. Don’t miss out on an exciting, interesting, intriguing, and entertaining book. I highly recommend it.

5-stars

This is the first book by this author that I have read but it certainly won’t be my last, I absolutely loved this one! From the very first chapter I was hooked, Once I started reading, I found it incredibly hard to stop so I ended up reading it in one sitting, and then all I wanted to do once I reached the end was dive into the next book of the series, which I’m really looking forward to reading!

This author wrote with so much detail that I was immediately enticed by the storyline and the fantastic characters. It’s a fast paced paranormal read with lots of action, entertaining and witty characters, and steamy scenes, so many deliciously steamy scenes. It was truly a pleasure to read from start to finish.

This is a book I would recommend to anyone looking for their next paranormal read, you will not be disappointed.

A Hole (Alpha Bet Guys Book 1)A Hole by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Hole Phoebe Alexander is a highly entertaining novella by one of just favourite authors. This book is pure gold from start to finish in terms of comedy but also has a strong storyline and interesting characters. For me this was one of those books that I just had to read in one sitting. Once I started reading I just couldn’t stop. Phoebe Alexander again has written an instant hit. I loved the characters in this book. The connection was clearly there but with others getting involved it meant that the road to happiness wasn’t quite straight forward. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I would urge everyone to read it immediately – as well as anything written by this incredible author!!

Nobody Knows (Razes Hell Book 1) by Kyra Lennon – Review by Liz Vrchota

Nobody KnowsNobody Knows by Kyra Lennon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have been slowly getting familiar with the writings of Kyra Lennon and I have to say I have not found one that was below a four star read yet. I was excited to find this series, Razes Hell, as I am a big fan of rockstar romance reads. I don’t know what it is about them but it just makes me fall in love with the characters even more. In Nobody Knows we get all that and more. I was taken away to this world where there are three friends navigating life and adulthood the best they can. This somewhat becomes that friends to lovers read and the slow burn was intense and very well played out. I just loved each of the characters, even the side ones and I am beyond hooked. I cannot wait to see what other books we will get in this series!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the fourth book in this series and it is just as great as the previous three. This author has continued to impress me with her writing skills and attention to details. This book is no different. I was pulled into the story from the beginning. Dahlia is back in another story and journey of non stop action. Things will never be the same again, things are changing and things are starting to happen that can’t be stopped. In search of truth, the things she finds only make her question more. Everything is pointing to the beginning of things. What happens next you will have to read to find out. This is a great story that you don’t want to miss. If you haven’t picked up this series yet, I highly recommend it.

I have yet to find a novel by Phoebe Alexander that I didn’t just love to death from beginning to end. I was super excited to get my hands on this first novel of a fun and romantic comedy series from her. A Hole kicks things off perfectly and brings us all the details that will hook us for the rest of the series. I typically worry with novellas that I just won’t have enough to thoroughly get to know the characters, but that is not the case here. We meet Ace and Ella and the journey they take to find their happily ever after. I found myself laughing out loud literally as I read this and came away feeling as if I made new friends. I cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of this series!

Nite Fire: Slash & Burn by C.L. Schneider is the fourth book in the Nite Fire series. I would strongly recommend reading this series in order so that you get a full understanding of what is going on.
It has been a little while since I read the other books but I found it was so easy to tell back into the story. As soon as I started reading I was straight there with the characters. This book was just as well written and engaging as the rest in the series. This is an exciting story and probably my favourite of the series so far. This author really knows how to capture your attention with a strong story line and such interesting characters. This is a brilliant series and one I would recommend.

Beckoned: Born Of Darkness (Book 1) by R.B. Fields is a paranormal erotic story with string characters that will really capture your attention. I found myself utterly hooked by them and their story – vampires, a hunter and a whole lot of sexy. The book was well developed from start to finish. The author knew just how to push the story forward and when to pull back just a little. This is a new author for me and if all of their books are like this then I am excited to read more.

This book captured my interest not only because it is by Ms. Phoebe Alexander but because I think it’s funny. I fell in love with Ace’s personality and comedy as you can see the sense of humor of Ms. Alexander peeking through. I was rooting for Ace and Ella until her friends meddled their nose in their affairs but that was the tip of the iceberg but so much could have thrawled this couple but I was happy with the way it turned out. Ms. Alexander knows how to weave a story in the best of ways!

This was a fun quick read and keeps you on your toes wondering what will happen next. It’s the first in a new series by Phoebe Alexander and I already can’t wait to read the rest of them, especially if it continues on with the different characters that are in this one. While I normally prefer a longer book with more meat to the story this one had everything needed to feel the connection that formed and also with the inner dialogue for each of the main characters I was able to understand each of them. I laughed out loud more than once while reading and really hope Ace and Ella show up in the next story as well so we can see how they are doing.

A Hole (Alpha Bet Guys Book 1) by Phoebe Alexander. I loved this novella. I love anything Phoebe Alexander writes so it was no surprise. The only thing is was too short for me! Its the story of Ace Bennett who is a comedian and his career is just starting to take off. When he goes to the bank one day he meets a cute teller named Ella Craig. He is smitten. Ella is very wary of Ace because she thinks he might be a player so she tells him no to going for a drink. When he makes a bet with her that she will laugh at his comedy show and if she laughs she has to have a drink with him. When Ella’s friends get involved and tell her he is trouble the whole things starts to fall apart. Can Ace prove to Ella he won’t hurt her? Read A Hole to find out!

A Hole (Alpha Bet Guys Book 1)A Hole by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I definitely enjoyed reading Phoebe Alexander’s A Hole. This read was so cute, funny and swoon worthy. A Hole
Is about a comedian named Ace Bennett who has a crush on Ella Craig who is bank teller for a bank which happens to be on the same building as his apartment. He makes excuses to go into the bank and Ella knows it. Finally one day Ace gets up the nerve to ask her out but she turns him down. He then asks her to come to his comedy show and there is a bet made. Ella goes to the comedy show with an opinion about Ace she had gotten from her friends. She has a plan in place. She just wants to find out if he’s as good of a kisser and she is told. Sometimes you can’t believe everything you hear. Sometimes things don’t happen the way you think they do. What will happen with Ace and Ella. Is he really the A Hole she was warned he is?
Such a great story. Great main characters and of course the supporting characters were awesome too. I hope there are more reads coming with the rest of the characters

Hell In A Handbasket (Life is Hell Book 3) by Naomi Valkyrie – Review by Tausha Treadway

Hell In A Handbasket (Life is Hell #3)Hell In A Handbasket by Naomi Valkyrie

Hell In A Handbasket (Life is Hell Book 3) by Naomi Valkyrie. This is the 3rd installment in the Life is Hell series and its just as good as the 1st and 2nd if not better. I love Naomi Valkyrie so anything she writes I try to read. Its still set in Juniper Lake that seems so serene and peaceful but is anything but that. This is the story of Oren and Teivel who we met in the previous books but not much was told about them. Oren is a demon hunter who turns to demon Teivel for help in his training. He has tried to find anyone but Teivel but couldn’t come up with anyone else. This ends up being a mess for Oren because he is still a little new to the idea of being a Hunter and he also find Teivel a little attractive! The two have chemistry for days! This story is full of danger, mystery, family and romance. You won’t be able to turn the pages fast enough. Do yourself a favor and read them in order. You will be so glad you did!

5 stars!

Short and sexy. If you are looking for a quick romantic pick me up, this is the one. Ace and Ella are the cutest! I love the way he went after her and stopped at nothing until he had a chance. Ella is very hesitant but I love that she takes a chance on love and with Ace. With a whole bunch of misunderstandings and miscommunication my frustration level with them was at a high. They are perfect together, and when the book ended I wanted more, more of Ace and Ella and more of Ace’s friend group. As always from this author, perfect.

Nobody Knows (Razes Hell Book 1) by Kyra Lennon – Review by Sara Oxton

Nobody KnowsNobody Knows by Kyra Lennon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Nobody Knows by Kyra Lennon a rocking five-star read. This is number one In the Razes Hell series and shows us what a great series it shows to be becoming. There were parts that this was not five-star worthy, it was a bot repetitive and could do with a re-edit, as some lines kept repeating later down the page. But overall, the story and characters were well done, and had depth to them, you could feel the push and pull Ellie finds herself in and how she felt about Drew, but the conflicting emotions of Jason will push you at times, but others it pulls you, you can feel why Ellie has the emotional roller-coaster and why there is friction. It breaks your heart as a reader as you feel like you are forced to sit on your hands and not do anything, much like Ellie herself, forced to choose between doing what’s right and doing what those you love need of you.

Once Cade starts digging its like unraveling a ball of yarn. He figures out a serial killer is in the area and using car accidents as his cover and his favorite victims are beautiful blondes! This story is told by both Cade and the killers POV so its very intriguing. I love Cade and felt like I knew him and was in the book with him trying to solve these murders! At All (The Adams Brothers Book 3) by Mindy McKinley was absolutely amazing; I had such a hard time putting it down. Teaching is a passion of hers and when she gets a job she’s excited, but what she didn’t expect was what comes next. Sebastian is a saxophonist who has ran into a lot of trouble with alcohol and needs to redeem himself.
