I loved this novel! The characters are so real I could FEEL their passion and regret. Are they ever HOT together! The tension leaves you hoping they can move forward to explore what could be! A must read!

Wow! Capturing Fate absolutely blew me away! This is my first novel by Abbie Roads, and will not be the last! Capturing Fate was full of intense action, true emotions, and I truly didn’t want to out it down!
Dolan Watts is an FBI agent and starts the story undercover. When he sees something he should never see in a million years and no one really believes his story, he has to venture on his own to find the truth.
Daughter is a psychologist. She has her own practice and meets a very intriguing man one day. That session literally changes her whole life.
This story was really amazing! The plot was intense and the story was so original. I loved the characters and the writing that made you feel everything the characters were feeling. I cannot wait to explore more from this author!

Nobody Knows: A British Rock Band Romance (Razes Hell Book 1) by Kyra Lennon. I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t put it down I found myself sneaking around to read it any and every chance I got. The characters are complex and relatable, they easily pulled me into their world and I’ll be honest I didn’t want to leave but all good things do end eventually. I definitely won’t forget these characters though and I definitely be adding this read to me reread list. This author knows how to tell a story that had me hooked from start to finish. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m definitely looking forward to more from this author. I’m easily giving this book five stars and highly recommend it. I promise you won’t regret one clicking this amazing book.

A Tennis Pro To Die For (Cozy Mysteries To Die For Book 3) by Judy Moore. Once again I found myself completely drawn into the story world this author has created. The characters are easy at picturing and I like going on the adventures we get to. I recommend reading these in order and trust me they are all great. I liked getting lost in the pages for a while. The storyline is well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. It’s got everything you need for a cozy mystery and i loved every minute of it. Can’t wait to see where this author takes readers next. Four stars and highly recommended.

The Traveler: Chimera Rising is the third book in ‘The Book of Eleanor’ Series by Shannon Nemechek. I highly recommend reading the books in order as this one starts off where book 2 left off. As the previous books, this one did not disappoint, I fall in love with the story and characters more each book. The author does such an amazing job adding even the smallest details and keeping you informed during the journeys. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to see where things go!!!

Capturing Fate by Abbie Roads. I love a book that keeps me guessing and on the edge of my seat. That exactly what I got when I opened this book. The storyline is engaging and well developed with characters that are just as importantly done well as the storyline. The characters are complex and engaging they bring the storyline to life and I like the adventure they took me on. I know for me it was over too quickly but only because I wasn’t ready to be done. It’s fast paced but not in a rushed way. I’m giving this story a five star review and highly recommend! Can’t wait for more from this author who always brings her A+ writing game.
Beckoned: Born of Darkness (Book 1) by R. B. Fields. This book blew me away from start to finish. I sometimes have trouble sinking into a paranormal story but I definitely didn’t have that problem with this book. From page one I knew I was in for quite the ride with not only the storyline but the characters. It’s definitely a steamy read and I loved every minute of it. The characters truly brought the storyline to life. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m already excited for more from this author. Five stars all the way! Can’t wait to see where this author takes readers next.

I absolutely loved reading the book Beckoned: Born of Darkness which is book 1 by R. B. Fields. I love almost all paranormal books but especially books with vampires, and this one doesn’t let you down. But not only did the author write an amazing book, her characters are what bring it to life, the details she puts into both makes you feel like you are there! This is a Romantic Suspense novel and has around 350 pages. This story follows Kendyll, a writer of romance. She has been searching for her own HEA but her relationship with her fiancé Vance seems more “comfortable” than anything. So, in an attempt to rekindle the flames, they move to another city and buy an old, rundown mansion. When she first saw the house, it spoke to her – in more ways than one. Wes is hired to fix it back up, but there is also a connection between Wes and Kendyll. I really enjoyed the trip back to read about the historical happenings of this place.
Hmm, this was an interesting story, got some serious ‘What Lies Beneath’ vibes from it, and of course ‘Rebecca’ vibes, but I have this curious feeling that it may have been on purpose. I could be wrong. Honestly though, on paper (I know it’s a book) it should be exactly the type of thing that I would adore. There’s mystery, there are twists and turns and a little sprinkle of the supernatural which has always been my thing, but for some reason, I found this a little difficult to get into. I don’t know whether it’s the way the character was written or whatever, but I just really struggle to immerse myself in this one. Not to say that this is badly written, or not worth the read because it is really good and I would absolutely recommend anyone giving it a go, I just found it a bit tough to get into, that’s all. Tessa Stevens has had her fair share of crap to shovel in her life and when she meets her husband, she thinks that things are finally looking up and that she may actually get the life that she has always dreamed of free from all the darkness of her past. That is until a spirit keeps showing up warning her that all might not be as it seems. The more that the spirit visits her, the more that Tessa finds that Keith isn’t what she thought. That’s a basic outline, I don’t want to ruin anything because I really do think you should read it, I think I’m going to read it again when I’ve had a bit of a break and I’m pretty sure that all the things I am not liking at the moment will have gone packing. I mean it had to be good because I finished it quickly. It kept me guessing and wanting to read more so it must have done something right. Just took me a bit of time to get into, but give it a go because you might not have the same problem and there is an awesome story in there.
The second book in the Deadly Isles Special Ops by Amy McKinley was entertaining for sure. Was a very quick, enjoyable read. This was my first McKinley novel, and I did enjoy it. I don’t think you have to read the first one in the series to read this one, I enjoyed it and followed along without the first. There were some good twists and turns, some mystery, and resolutions I did not see coming. There were also elements of the supernatural which was a nice surprise. I would have liked if there was a warning about abuse somewhere, it can be triggering for some. (If I missed that then that’s my bad). The chemistry between the characters was great! Kayla’s story is well written and comes to a conclusion I think many will find emotional, surprising and fulfilling. If you love romance with some mystery then this is a book for you!

Where Flowers Bloom By Nikki Vale 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book Where Flowers Bloom by Nikki Vale. The story will pull you in from the beginning and will not let you go until the final page. It is a romance book that had me lost in the pages. The author does an amazing job of making the storyline and the characters come alive. This is a book that seemed to be over too soon. I enjoyed reading about the dialogue between the characters. The story is well-detailed that I felt like I was right there with the characters. The story had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. Don’t miss out on a romantic, exciting, and entertaining book. I highly recommend it.

When you discover your ideal home, well mansion but you realise you are not the only one living there?
Kendyll is successful within her careers at the moment but her relationship is just surviving so her and her partner decide to make a fresh start but when they try and find a new house her ideas and her partners are different until one day they come across an old mansion which calls to her and she buys it straight off.
This is the first book I have read by this author and have to say I loved this story. It was not quite what I expected but it was better than I could have imagined. I love the paranormal aspect of the story and learning the story behind the plantation owner which was a twist on the history of the mansion.
I loved how the book followed through the path of the parallel with her story and the old history of the house and for Kendyll to really think about her relationship and if it was the best for her in the end. The story was well written and the choice of the secondary characters really enhanced the book and I can’t wait to read more from this brilliant author.

Vengeance by Courtney Konstantin is the firth book in the Sundown series. This book can be read as a stand-alone or as part of the series. This is a YA dystopian novel that is well written and action packed. I knew when I started this book that it was going to be exciting and fast paced but I didn’t expect it to be such an emotional story. I was completely connected with the main character and it felt like I was taking the journey with her. Although this is the first book I have read in this series it never felt like I was missing out on what had happened although after reading this one I will be going back to read the others. This is a well written and detailed book that I thoroughly enjoyed. I am looking forward to discovering more by this author.

This is a amazing book and very well presented. It start off with trouble which is plaguing the band. I adore the way Jason, Drew and Ellie Interact with each other. This is a story that never had a dull moment in it. This book is very heartfelt. I really enjoyed the way this romance planned out.

Another fantastic read by Amy McKinley. She certainly knows what to do to bring the readers back. Twisted Secrets is a great book, but Bound by Secrets is amazing. Can be read as a standalone.
Kayla comes home running from her ex boyfriend. She doesn’t think about what she’ll run into by going home. When she runs into her ex-lover and her deceased brother’s best friend she knows. The quote I chose for Kayla is: “We need to stay away from certain topics, or we won’t be able to live together. Anything with my brother is at the top of that list.”
Jaxon is still trying to get back to his civilian life. Working as a cop is great but it isn’t something he sees for himself. Running into Kayla makes him think of the past. Will she become a Hale? The quote I chose for Jaxon is: “It was a news alert. Several explosions happened at the same time.”

This is the second book in the Haunted Ever After series. This can be a stand alone book but I recommend the first book as it is just as entertaining. The plotline is a fun energetic story. It keeps you turning the pages to see what is next. The characters are fully developed and quite comical. This story is about Trent and Tina. Trent has had his uncle’s mansion given to him when he passes. Well it is not a regular mansion, it has some ghosts who live in the mansion. Trent wants to sell it and he turns to his ex-girlfriend to sell it for him. Tina broke up with Trent a few months ago and is surprised that Trent is calling her. Will Tina take the mansion to sell? Will the ghosts try to interfere with the selling of the mansion? Will Tina and Trent rekindle the flame they had for one another. I highly recommend this story to find out the answers to these questions and more.

Third Time’s a Ghost is the third book in the series. Carrie Pulkinen has done an amazing job with this series. I highly recommend reading the first two books. I love how Carrie Pulkinen has taken a paranormal character and turned it into a romantic paranormal story. This story is Gage and Erica’s story. Their story started back in high school. Gage is an investigator who is having problems with dating and Erica is a psychic medium who is having issues with her theater business. There are ghosts who are making things hard for Erica. Can Gage help with Erica with her problem at the theater? Will Gage tell Erica about his feelings? Will Erica be opened to Gage’s feelings? I highly recommend this story to see if there is a happy ending for Gage and Erica.

WOW!!! I don’t even know where to start, this book was brilliant I loved every second of it. There was so much passion, emotion and suspense. Had me laughing at times. Gunner had such a hard childhood it is heartbreaking and Lacey still has so many issues since her kidnap surely these two should be the cure for each other’s demons.

I have read Maria DeBlassie before and this short story is a little different from what I had read from her before. It is a zombie story but a different flare of zombies. She keeps the story moving so it never gets stagnant. The characters are complex and fully developed. This is about finding love in the darkness of a zombie world. It is a fast read, but I caution because there were a couple of parts that took me by surprise. Just know once you start reading this book you are going to want to finish it. I highly recommend this fast paced story. There may be some gruesome scenes So I would recommend a late teen to adult age for this book.

Nobody Knows is the first book in the Razes Hell series by Kyra Lennon. This is a contemporary romance set around rock band Razes Hell. I had never read any of Kyra Lennon’s work before reading Nobody Knows so I had no idea what to expect from this book. What I got was a great story that had me gripped from the very beginning right through to the end. A publicity stunt to make it look like brothers Drew and Jason Brooks are at war with each other goes badly wrong when the 2 brothers actually end up at odd with each other. Stuck in the middle is Ellie who has been friends with both since childhood. The problem is that she’s always been best friends with Jason but now her and Drew have admitted to an attraction to one another. What will this do to the already strained relationship between the brothers? I really loved reading Drew and Ellie’s story. The book contains a great deal of angst as Ellie wars with herself over her friendship with Jason and her new relationship with Drew. She’s totally stuck in the middle and doesn’t know what to do for the best. I am a total sucker for a rock star romance so I lapped this book up and can’t wait to read more of the trials and tribulations of the Razes Hell guys.

This type of story is not one I would normally reach for but I am so glad I took a chance. This is one of the best books I’ve read this year! The incredible detail throughout made it so easy for me to picture everything playing out in my mind, which was incredibly entertaining.
From the very start I was intrigued and I found myself unable to put this book down as I connected with the characters, I just had to get answers to all of my questions. I honestly loved everything about this book, from each individual character and the relationships between them, everyone and everything added something unique to the story.
This was my first book by this author but it will not be my last! This book has been added to my top favourites and I look forward to reading more from this incredible author asap! I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for their next one of a kind romance read!

I’m really enjoying this series and this book doesn’t disappoint. This is book 2 in the series and although the characters from book 1 do make an appearance you don’t have to have read book 1 first (although why would you not?)
Jaxon was Kayla’s school crush and her brothers best friend. After the death of her brother Kayla left town and only returns when she is escaping from her stalker boyfriend. Jaxon does not want to miss out on his second chance with Kayla, but he has secrets she won’t be happy about.
There are a few threads running through this book, from both Kayla and Jaxon’s characters, and they will certainly keep you turning pages. The story is really well written and pulls you into the story. Kayla frustrated me a little bit at first, but she was going through so many things at the time that I’ll forgive her. Jason was so sweet and patient, desperately trying to show Kayla that they had a future together.
If you’ve enjoyed any of Amy McKinley’s books before, this one will not disappoint.

Nobody Knows (Razes Hell Book 1) by Kyra Lennon 4 Stars
This is the first book that I have read from this author and I was impressed. The amount of raw emotion in the story was astounding. The characters and their problems were relatable which made it easier to connect with them. This is not your usual love triangle. Ellie loves them both but differently. Jason has been her best friend since childhood and his brother Drew is who she’s in love with. The three have been to hell and back which has put a strain on their relationship especially between the brothers. The brothers’ band, Razes Hell, rise to fame has only added pressure. Being best friends with rock stars isn’t easy particularly when you are the glue that holds them together. When past issues are brought into the light publicly, feelings of resentment resurface. This book was well written. There was tension, secrets and betrayals. My only issue with the story was I found there was too much drama. I needed to step back every so often and take a break. Regardless, the story was very good and I will be looking for more books from this author.

Nobody Knows by Kyra Lennon is a Rockstar Romance read that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. From the very first chapter I was intrigued and couldn’t wait to get to know our main characters. And I was certainly not disappointed with how this story unfolded.
This romance read was intense, addictive, captivating, detailed, and had me feeling all kinds of emotions. I was able to connect to the characters quite easily as the author wrote with so much detail that it made it easy to picture everything playing out in my mind, which is always a bonus. I loved the little flashbacks throughout the story as it gave me better insight into the complicated lives of our characters.
This was my first book by this author but it won’t be my last. I look forward to reading more from her in the future and look forward to reading more from our bad boy Rockstar’s in the Razes Hell series.

Tessa Stevens has been through a lot in her life, the death of both of her parents under tragic circumstances, then followed by the death of her grandma, but that all changed when she met her husband and fell in love, he was all that she wanted in a man, smart, handsome, kind and generous, but she missed her sister who she hadn’t seen since they got married. One night, she hears a voice telling her to leave the house while she still can, but she is confused as to who it was and why they were telling her that, but they were only dreams and she has a feeling that she needs to call her sister to make up for lost time, but when she does and they agree to meet it is like old times, apart from her sister shows her something about her husband which Tessa finds it hard to believe because the information paints him in a completely different light and when she sees that she has multiple missed calls and texts from him and when she does answer that he is concerned about her, she dismisses everything else, although she can’t deny that she wants to know more about his past.
When Tessa returns home, she looks up about her husband’s past and realises that the person in her dreams is also someone who her husband had a past with and has since disappeared but when strange things start to happen in the kitchen as she thinks about their future she tries to ignore it and carry on with her day, but the strange things keep happening, especially in the basement as she finds some things down there which she didn’t expect to and when she eventually is back upstairs, she realises who is behind them all. The dreams continue that night and in the morning Tessa invites her sister over to the house but instead decide to meet at the cafe again, but her husband’s reaction to it unnerves her and when she tells her about the strange dreams and occurrences in the house, her sister decides that it is time to do some snooping and she returns to the house with Tessa and stays the night and while her husband is out, they find out more about him and the mysterious spirit haunting her and it isn’t all good.
As the visitations become more frequent and Tessa finds out more about her husband, she realises that he doesn’t really know him much after all, but the more she finds out, the more his behaviour changes and the more scared she becomes until things come to a head, but will all the secrets be revealed or will the past repeat itself and will Tessa be able to solve the mystery in time, or will the secrets destroy her first? This is a fast paced whirlwind of a journey through deception, danger, lies and secrets where any revelations just muddy the water more and once started, you won’t be able to stop until you reach the end.
This book starts with Kayla Kane staring at the tv where she watches her boyfriend leaving the ring where he has just won his latest fight, but he is leaving with another woman and Kayla is enraged and plans to confront him when he gets home, but what happens when she does prompts her to leave as soon as she comes around. It isn’t the first time she has been abused by him, but this time, he took it too far and so she throws her belongings into a suitcase and bag and grabs her surfboard before putting as much distance as she can between her and the man she is going to leave behind. Jaxon Hale is tying up his stint as a beat officer with the local police where he has been working to see if it is a career he wants to follow, however, he is not happy and has decided to leave to join the team where his older brother works instead. When he goes into his local coffee shop, he is more than surprised to see Kayla, his first love and the woman he has had feelings for half his life, but she is hiding something and he won’t stop until he finds out what it is.
While they were in the coffee shop, an alert came through on Jaxon’s phone which looked like an attack, but when he arrives at the station, he realises that he is going to be getting nothing out of the officer on the case, so when his brother contacts him and confirms his suspicions, he knows that there is something else going on because he should be enjoying his honeymoon and adding into the fact that they can’t contact his brother as he is on a mission, Jaxon feels like he can’t do anything and he doesn’t like that feeling in the slightest. Meanwhile, Kayla goes to visit her parents, but when she gets there, she discovers that they are selling the house and Kayla isn’t happy that she will be losing another bit of her childhood and the memories forged there with her dead brother, but she tries to accept this unwelcome bit of news, but when she heads upstairs to start helping them to pack, she decides to start in her brothers room which she knows is going to be the hardest one to pack away and this is solidified when the memories come flooding back. Later on, she hears another voice and goes downstairs to find that Jaxon is there and it turns out his parents are moving to his old condo and that he came over to find out about paint choices so he could start redecorating so it is ready for them and remembering that there is a spare room, Kayla realises that this is the perfect answer to the situation with Roy and asks if she can stay there and help with the painting, Jaxon agrees, however, she is not sure how staying in the same house as him is going to work seeing as she has had the biggest crush on him for half her life.
As the time passes and Kayla and Jaxon spend more time with each other, they both realise that the time has come to talk about what happened in their past, but also about the present as well and the more they start to learn about the secrets surrounding them, the closer they become, but are the secrets they hold going to be a barrier they cannot surpass, or will they be able to build the future they have always wanted together? As the tension rises and patterns emerge, can the two work together to solve the mysteries surrounding them? This is a fast paced romance with secrets and revelations abound within it, but that is what will keep you reading until the very end.
