This book was such an enjoyable read because it starts off kinda awkward but really cute and then builds into this story where the 2 main characters meet up later in life and everything has changed. you get to watch them as they figure out this whole new journey with all the twists and turns. There also is the added bonus of one hilarious aunt who is super sassy! I really loved the character development in this book and I look forward to reading the rest of them.

I have yet to pick up an Meghan O’Flynn novel that I have not adored completely! She manages to take her readers on a fast, thrilling, and twisted ride with each of her Ash Park novels. Each book is written with recurring characters and some overlapping case details. I would recommend that you read them in order and all of them, but I am told they are able to be read as stand alones as well. Imposter is the seventh book in the series and it feels like saying that should come with a this series is getting old type feeling, but I can assure you there is not one dull or boring and repetitive moment in the entire book let alone the series. In Imposter we find our favorite troubled detective, Petrosky as he is once again faced with a ruthless and violent killer. The case will force him to face pieces of himself all while trying to race against time to keep the inhabitants of Ash Park and his own loved ones safe from harm. I can’t wait to see what could come next and if we will get more of Ash Park from Ms. O’Flynn.

Lisa: Coming of Age by KM Lowe is the first book in The Guardian Shifters series. I absolutely loved this story. The main character Lisa faces so many challenges and uncertainties, but her character remains strong. She relies on those around her, her adopted family, her best friend Marcus, and his father Jasper, to help her get through discovering a world that was completely new to her. Lisa and Marcus’s relationship was truly special. They shared a bond from childhood and then fell in love with each other. Marcus is so protective of Lisa because they are soul mates. They seem unstoppable, but they face some challenges that would rock any relationship. I really enjoyed reading Lisa’s journey as she explored a new part of her life and I look forward to reading other stories in this series.

I have to admit, I wasn’t sure what to think when I started this series. It gives you a look into alternate lifestyle in an honest, respectful way. Sarah and James know what they want and it seems that while they want each other, they want different things in life they cant give one another. This series takes you through their struggle with them. And its amazing. An eye opening experience with a talented author!

Lisa: Coming Of Age (The Guardian Shifters Book 1) by K.M. Lowe is a YA paranormal/supernatural story with shifters and witches, suspense and drama, angst and danger, love and friendship, and find out exactly who you are and that there is more in life than on can comprehend. It is my first time reading anything from this author and found it engaging and I really enjoyed it.
Lisa was prepared to go to college and have her best friend by her side. However, she soon finds out that who she is and what she is something out of a fantasy book. Her whole view of the world has been turned upside down, but will she be able to live with what it entails.
This friends to lovers’ story is engrossing and gives you all the feels. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

I enjoyed this paranormal story. This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite. I never hesitate to pick up this author’s books. They are well written with connectable, lovable characters that make the story realistic. This book is no different. It is a story of a witch, wolf and fated love. Kingsley is a wolf who has given up on finding a mate until he meets Eva. Eva has given up on men but there is something about Kingsley she can’t resist. Can a wolf and a witch be life mates? I love their chemistry and their attraction to each other. They are strong characters that kept me turning pages, I had to know what happened to them. Is it possible that they will find their HEA? I highly recommend reading their story to find out what happens with them.
Imposter was a captivating, chilling and intriguing read. I have read a few from this series now so I know to expect the unexpected but this book really took me by surprise. I think I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through and I have to say it is probably my favourite out of the series so far! The authors’ writing is detailed, the storyline intricately woven and it completely sucks you in and doesn’t let you out until the end. I have to say I do love Petrosky; he is good at his job and has been a fantastic main character the whole way through this series! Imposter was a fantastic, thrilling 5 star read that I wholeheartedly recommend!

This was a brilliant Paranormal romance read that was fast-paced, jam-packed with a brilliant storyline that had you hooked and characters that really brought the story to life. This is my first read from this author and it was a great introduction and I can’t wait to read more from her. I loved both these characters and their chemistry was coming off the pages, I really enjoyed seeing their relationship develop throughout it was steamy & flirty and exactly what was needed! I was well and truly hooked and I can’t wait to read more from Katerina Ross.

Testament Of Feats by K.H Jones. Boo 1. Truly wonderful. I loved reading the book Serenade by TK Lawyer. I love wolf shifter books and this story is an example of the reason why. The book pulled me in from the beginning and I quickly found myself lost in the story of Kingsley and Eva. Kingsley is a wolf that hasn’t found his mate. While he may be popular with the women he meets, he is looking for the other half of his soul. Eva is a woman who after her last relationship has decided not to date. While she finds Kingsley handsome and charming, she doesn’t believe that he is for her. He can have any woman he wants. Kingsley recognizes Eva from the first moment she came into the room. Eva is falling for Kingsley. What will happen when she finds out he is a wolf-shifter? What does the future hold for Eva and Kingsley? Read this book to find out. I love how Eva is kind and caring. Kingsley is at a loss on how to get Eva to accept him as her mate. I grew to care about both of them with each chapter that I read, and I wanted them to find happiness. There are other characters that are introduced and many of them become friends with Eva. There are also a few that have their own agenda and plans. This is a book that has an atmosphere of romance and some scenes are red hot to read. I would highly recommend this story.

The Player is the 2nd book in the Men Of WarHawks series by Jacquie Biggar. Each book can be read as a stand-alone. I had not read the first book before reading this although I had read other work by this author. I will be going back to read the first book now as I really enjoyed this one. Roy Donaldson is a top NHL player whose career has taken a bit of a dive due to a psycho ex-girlfriend spreading lies about him. To help his career, his team bring in sassy PA Patience Kennedy to sort him out. Just what he wants, another woman trying to organise him! This book flows quickly and keeps you gripped to the story by adding elements of humour, romance, drama etc. The very first meeting between Roy and Patience in the locker room, when he thinks she’s a reported looking for a story, is particularly funny. The book was much more dramatic than I had anticipated. Jacquie Biggar does a fantastic job of writing the dramatic scenes with the psycho ex as everything comes to a dramatic conclusion. Added to the drama is the attraction between Roy and Patience. She is the total opposite of everything he’s ever looked for in a woman but he can’t help his growing attraction and feelings towards her, some of which adds to the humorous element of the story, particularly when Patience’s older brothers are added to the fun and games. I’d definitely recommend this book to others.

“The harder you love, the higher the stakes” Around Midnight is a young-adult drama by Zarina Macha. Megan Hollis loves Jazz and playing her saxophone, she moves to London with her parents to be nearer the prestigious School of Jazz which is Megan’s dream and her goal for the future. Things are going well for Megan when she meets Vincent Turner a mysterious individual with a dangerous reputation but Megan can not ignore the chemistry between them and ultimately falls for Vincent’s charms. Her new relationship soon takes a turn for the worse and Megan is stuck in a nightmare. She also becomes stuck between doing what she wants to do and what those around her think is best for her. This is a coming of age book with Jazz always at the heart of the story. The author has written some great strong characters and the storyline moves along swiftly and took me with it, gripped from page one. I like how the characters are realistic and that the plot line looks at normal issues that young people face as well as the darker side of Megan and Vincent’s love. Although a YA book I enjoyed it, being slightly older, and I found it had a depth to it that not all YA books have. A fascinating read which I recommend.

Meghan O’Flynn did it again. She is one of my favorite authors. Her stories are always intense and mind blowing. Her character development and plot lines are out of this world. The words fly off the page. I would pay close attention to the smallest details because you may miss an important clue. This story took me on a wild roller coaster ride. Every time I thought I knew what was going on, here comes a curveball. Detective Petrocky is with us again. This time Little Greggie who was taken and reappeared to his parents, had hung himself. There was no evidence that it was a suicide. Detective Petrocky is investigating Little Greggie’s suicide there was others who were taken and reappeared only to comitt suicide. Can Detective Petrocky find out what is going on? Will there be more children taken and alive? Will there be a higher body count that Detetive Petrocky cannot stop from happening? I highly recommend this book. If you like thrillers this book is for you.

Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross is a Paranormal/Romance Story. This book is a novella, so it is a short quick read. Katerina Ross’s character development and plot line kept my interest. The story is about Dragmir and Ida. He is a hot mess. He has PTSD and to make ends meet he does illegal boxing matches. He has a curse that was placed upon him. In comes Ida, who is a young witch. She signs up to help Dragmir. Will she be able to help him? Does Dragmir and Ida make a good couple? Will they help each other to become the person they want to be? I encourage you to read this novella as it will capture you wanting more.

Wow, this nothing close to anything I have ever read before!!! I love that it is so unique — in the world of the Paranormal, so much has been done that it is so refreshing to see something this unique. The main characters intrigue me and I hope we learn more about them in another, longer book. The struggles he has and the way they control it — wow. I will say that this contains explicit BDSM scenes, so if that is not something you want to read about, this may not be for you. I you are okay with it, I highly recommend reading this. It is not very long, and I had no idea what to expect. But once I kept going, I found it hard to put down until I finished. I commend the author greatly!

Flowers in December by Jane Suen Stars: 4
I love how relatable Connor is to the reader. He is in the middle of grieving, but yet, he also is very reflective. He knows he has not done everything correct in life, but he very much trying to figure it all out. Other than Connor, I really enjoyed reading about Tom. I loved the way Jane Suen described him, and Connor’s interactions with Tom. This story was an easy, short read with relatable characters and situations. However, I did feel that this story felt like a great beginning, and I wanted to know more from where the story actually ended. The ending was good, but I just wanted to know more of how his life ended up.
Coming Home by Jane Suen Stars: 4
This story picks up four months after the first book (Flowers in December) ends. Our characters go through so many changes from the first book. These characters continue on their journey of life dealing with change, growth, grief, and love. I loved reading more about our characters and meeting others. I have to admit that I am a bit upset with Connor, and his failure to communicate with loved ones. I was happy to read more about these characters!

With her ways, he can keep stuff under wraps a lot easier. After all its not like it’s been proven that he can trust others. Can he trust her? Can she trust he won’t hurt her? Her teaching is rather unconventional but effective. Their journey though isn’t easy. Will love conquer all?
I enjoyed the fact that this was a little different than the normal PNR that I normally read. I also loved that Ida was in a position that was not the usual one considering the bondage. Both characters are strong types which makes them even more combustible when they come together! I would really like to see this be extended out or become a continuing storyline in another book for them. Really well written, and I enjoyed it.

Imposter: An Ash Park Novel is book seven in this series by Meghan O’Flynn. Normally this far into a series I have fallen off or everything becomes stagnant. O’Flynn kills it with this book. Detective Petrosky is trying to get answers after someone who had been kidnapped suddenly commits suicide. Nothing is as easy as it seems. This has twists and turns which kept me on my toes while reading. Detective Petrosky is a gritty seasoned detective who has seen it all and even he is unsure of what is going on. I enjoy these books because there is a sense of urgency to get to the bottom of what is going on which a lot of crime and mysteries forget. I look forward to reading more from Meghan O’Flynn in the future.

This was a great story. Dragomir is a magician who was cursed. The curse left him with uncontrollable bursts of rage which he doesnt know how to deal with. Hes all alone in the world trying to survive and not destroy everything and everyone around him.
That is until he meets Ida a witch who seems unassuming and meek. How wrong his assumption is. Ida offers to help him and even though he thinks he id beyond help he goes with her.
Ida takes him on a journey of trust, learning to give up control and learning that being damaged doesnt mean he can’t control his life.
Together the learn to tame his anger on unique ways and Dragomir learns to trust someone not only with his body but also with his heart and soul.
The Flowers In December Box Trilogy by Jane Suen contains Flowers in December (Book #1), Coming Home (Book #2), and Second Chance (Book #3). I enjoyed every one of these books and I couldn’t put them down. This author is well written and i am always pulled into the story’s very quickly and I felt like I was right there with these characters living their everyday lives right beside them because this author really did bring them life. I liked them even from page one and was rooting for them even when times were getting tough.. These three stories follow Mary Ann and Connor and with each book comes new uphill battles and i liked every minute of it.. I am so looking forward to reading more by this author in the future and i would recommend this to a friend. Happy Reading!

Rockin’ It Home by Tracey Cramer-Kelly is the third book in the Lawson Family Novel series. I will say that I have enjoyed all the books I’ve read thus far in the series… but this one has been my favorite so far. I’m sure you could read this book as a stand-alone, if you really wanted to. However I wouldn’t advise that. I think that to get a better understanding of Ben, you need to read the previous 2 books in the series. I was wondering when his book was going to come along.. and here it is. Ben has a hellacious past. He hasn’t always been the best person, and as a rocker in a band, it was so easy for him to make terrible decisions. I like books that are kind of like enemies to lovers… and if you like them too, you should definitely read this book. I liked how it started out between Ben and Danielle, with them trying to skirt around and avoid one another. After time, a kind of friendship develops, and things just take off from there. I was thrilled to see Ben in a better place, making better decisions, and finally ending up happy. I could feel all of the emotions in this book and see the scenes play out before me. Tracey is an excellent writer, who has outdone herself once again. Add this book to your reading list, along with the others in the series, you won’t be disappointed.

Meghan O’Flynn gives me the creeps with every book I read. They’re disturbingly good. I mean the while time I was reading this book I was under my blanket. The story just sent chills down my spine. If you’ve read any of her other books you would understand where I’m coming from. The words jump off of the pages at you. Making you feel and experience every detail. The main character has been through so much. His pain is there with every struggle to keep straight. There’s no way you can not read this and not experience his suffering. I really enjoy this authors work. I haven’t been so thrilled in forever. I love the care and attention to detail that the author puts in the story. I felt like I was riding in the car with Petrosky. That I was there when that boy experienced all his pain. A must read.

A Study in Spirits (College Fae book #2) by Byrd Nash was an exciting and fun read. A new semester and new surprises. I loved all the characters of this novel. It is a great second addition to the series. I loved book one but his one has taken its place as my favorite. It has an excellent storyline with a great plot and climax. It is easy to follow and organized. The characters are creative, relatable, and have excellent development. This is an easy 5 star read.

Rockin’ It Home: A Lawson Family Novel by Tracey Cramer-Kelly Five Stars
Rockin’ It Home is the third book in the Lawson Family series by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. This is by far the best book of the series. This is Ben’s story and much anticipated by me. This series should be read in order, because you will miss much of the backstory, if you don’t. This read is full of feel and it grabbed my attention from the very first page. Ben is a Rock Star in need of a babysitter and Danielle is just the person for the job. The characters are strong and very relatable. The subject of addiction was truly well written and the plot had me reading long into the night. I’m looking forward to more books by Ms. Cramer-Kelly. Her book keep getting better and better. She is now officially on my TBR list.

The Player is the second book in the Men of WarHawks series by Jacquie Biggar. This was such an enjoyable read. It had a little bit of everything- it was fun, sexy, and sweet. Then sprinkled with some drama, suspense, tension, and mystery that had me turning the pages, avidly reading, just to see how everything would play out. This is such a well woven story about finding love unexpectedly. It is a quick and easy read that hooked me right from the get-go. When a crazy, stalker ex gets Roy sidelined from his beloved NHL- the only way to get back in the game is to allow sexy PA, Patience Kennedy, to help. With her PR know-how she’ll have him back in the game in no time. Right? I really did love this story- and as always, I can count on Ms. Biggar to deliver the goods! Definitely well worth the read! Can’t wait to see what Ms. Biggar has in store for us next!

Zarina Macha is a new author to me but I like her passion she puts into her story. She has a great character development and story line. While reading, I found myself back in high school when music was my release from my pain. Megan Hollis has music within her soul. Jazz is her muse. She went to London to study at the prestigious School of Jazz. She was focused on music until she met Vincent. Vincent made Megan think about other things than her Jazz music. He is mysterious and dangerous for Megan. Will Megan be able to do what she thinks is best for her? Can she distinguish what she wants? Will Vincent be a suitable partner or will he bring her down into trouble? I highly recommend reading this book to find out the answers to this and much more.

Imposter: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 7) by Meghan O’Flynn is a suspense thriller at it’s finest. Wow what a tangled web Meghan has given us with this book in the series. Dare I say it is the best yet. You never know where the story will go and being able to put the book down is not an option because you need to know. You need to know what is hiding in the shadows, what sort of madness will be encountered, just how dark are the monsters. Well if you want to know as well get your copy now.
